"Black sun? You mean that evil Bey that tried to take over the world two years ago?" Gias asked.

"Yes." I replied.

"Yeah, I was watching it on the news, why?"

"I was there."

"Cosmic Pegasus!"

"Fang Leone!"

"Flash Sagittario!"

"Phantom Leone!" Four Beys circled around and locked into place, a bright blue image appearing on the stadium.

"Come on guys! Just a little more!"

"It won't work!"

"AAAHHHH!"

««{{Flashback}}»»

"Wait, that was you?!" I nodded.

"We almost couldn't stop him. That was the hardest battle we've ever had. It took our friend two months to get through fixing all of our Beys. And she wouldn't stop to hardly eat or sleep either. They were so damaged..." I looked at my polished Leone, no damage whatsoever. I sat on the side of the stadium, Gias taking a seat next to me.

"There is no way that was you, James. That was on the other side of the world."

"It was also two years ago."

"So...you fought in that battle?"

"I was one of the main players. And that's not just me saying that. Near the end of the battle, I was one of those four people that were needed. But sadly, Zeus' Barrier didn't work." Before he could get out the question I continued.

"Zeus' Barrier was the lock and key to trapping Nemesis. Without it, Nemesis was free and only getting stronger. We completed it using the four Season Beys. Originally it was Fang Leone, Cosmic Pegasus, Phantom Orion, and L-drago Destructor. Ryuga, L-drago's Blader, got cocky and tried to fight Nemesis on his own. He...lost..." I shoved those memories away.

"Then Chris, Phantom Orion's Blader, tried the same thing. His Bey got too damaged to continue, and he gave me the Phantom Fusion Wheel." I held up Leone so Gias could see. "Somehow, even though Leone is a Fall constellation, it still could substitute as the Winter Constellation Bey. We thought we completed Zeus' Barrier, but that might have been why it didn't work. Nemesis got out, and we had no choice but to destroy it. And we almost couldn't. Nemesis..." I shuddered. "It was too strong. I had nightmares for over a year. They've lessened over time, but still."

"It was really that strong?"

"There were 13 of us fighting it at once and it didn't even weaken it. It took, if you remember, all the Bladers on the planet to give Pegasus enough energy to finally and fully destroy Nemesis."

"I do remember that." We stayed silent for a while. Gias trying to mull things over in his head. "I can't believe you are at that level. How often do you battle?"

"I don't. Not unless I get some other Legendary Blader to battle me."

"That's uh...depressing..."

"It was at first. But then I realized that I was given this power to protect others. I wasn't meant to use Leone for fun anymore, I was a Legendary Blader, at least in power. I was meant to stop anyone from using Beys for evil."

"Have you even lost a battle since then?"

"Only against other Legendary Bladers. I've only had to bring out Leone's full power against them."

"Wait, you said that Ryuga guy lost. How could you complete the Zeus' Barrier without him?" I went on to explain how Ryuga gave Kenta his Star Fragment, turning Flame Sagittario to Flash Sagittario. "So, you can give others your Star Fragment?"

"Yes, but I wouldn't wish this on anyone." I turned to face the wall, a blank stare. "It wasn't so bad after a while. I got used to blasting through tournaments. I got use to feeling...numb...to battles. So eventually I just stopped."

"You sound like you don't enjoy Beyblade anymore." I shook my head.

"Don't get me wrong, I love Beyblade, I always will. But...I just got...bored." He hopped up and held up a fist.

"Then we'll have to find someone who is strong enough to give you a challenge!"

"Gias, you don't get it. I have the remnants of a Star Fragment in Leone. It's not likely to find someone who could challenge me. At least not anywhere nearby."

"Wait. Part of one? You don't have a full Star Fragment?"

"When I gave Chris back his Phantom Wheel, my Bey had already evolved using the power of the Star Fragment, meaning a part of it still remained in Leone. Madoka, with Chris' permission, made a mock version of the Fusion Wheel. It is almost as strong, but he still kicks my butt to Saturday and back."

"So there are technically four other Season Bladers?" I nodded. "So what are you?" I shrugged.

"A stand alone? I don't know. I'm not a Planetary Blader, and the slots for the Seasons Bladers are all filled. I guess I'm not a true Legendary Blader, I just have the strength to match one."

"There has to be someone out there with your strength. There is no way there's that big of a gap."

"I mean, if the world's best wants to give it a go, bring it. But I don't think anyone in this county can match me, much less in this school." I stood up and started heading towards the door. "I gotta go Gias, I'll see you later."

"Oh, um. Okay, I'll see you on Monday then!" We waved and I stuffed my hands in my pockets as I walked down the street.

'Leone, why do you have to be so strong? I just want to enjoy battling like we did all those years ago.' I heard a distant roar in my mind. 'I know you are bored. But all the other Legends are too busy for a fight. Chris is off selling his skills, Aguma is who knows where. Gingka is preparing for the next world tournament somewhere in the mountains, which there's no doubt he'll win. Kenta is busy helping his family and attending school. *Sigh* You aren't the only one that's bored bud.'

I looked up when I heard an engine revving and tires squeal, and saw a car tearing down the street. A woman was in the crosswalk, and instantly I felt Leone's power rush through me, flooding my body with energy and slowing the world down. I was running towards her before I could think. I could tell the car was still accelerating.

'I'm not going to make it!'

"LADY MOVE!" She turned and looked at me, then turned when she heard the car, freezing in her tracks. I gritted my teeth as I pulled out my launcher, slapping Leone onto it and taking a flying leap, jerking the rip cord with everything I had.

"Let It Rip!" Leone went flying towards the lady, landing and planting itself in between her and the car. "Phantom Zone!" I slashed a pentagram in the air with my hand, Leone's Face Bolt flashed, and a copy appeared on the ground around the lady. A purple dome appeared over her, and she screamed as the car smashed into the ethereal energy. I landed on my feet and booked it over to her. Leone canceled the Special Move and I caught her as she fell, having fainted in panic.

"Ma'am, are you okay?!" She opened her eyes slowly.

"W-what just..."

"It's okay, you're safe, just breathe."

"Did...was that your Bey?" I nodded, catching Leone in my hand.

"Yes. Are you injured?" She sat up and checked herself over.

"I don't think so. Oh, my goodness thank you so much!" I nodded, numb to the embarrassing "you're my hero" speech. I noticed movement behind me and spun, relaunching Leone, who then circled around the driver of the car, stopping them from running off.

"Stop right there!" I ran over. The guy looked at me, looking to be intoxicated.

"I'm not going to listen to you! Let It Rip!" For being drunk, he had a surprisingly stable launch. His Bey clashed with Leone...who just sat there like nothing was happening. "What?!"

"Looks like you need to sleep that off." He got scared and tried to run the other way, only for me to spring over his head, Leone circling around to block his path. "You're delusional if you think I'm going to let you leave. You almost hit that lady back there. If it wasn't for my interference, you could have killed her." I could hear the sirens down the road. "You're going to jail." The guy took a few steps back, now hearing the cops as well.

"I-I can't go to jail! I won't be s-topped by a kid!" He charged at me and I sighed as a couple of women screamed in fear.

"Bad choice." I turned sideways. When he got close enough, I leaned away from him, bringing my left leg up and kicked, catching him on the chin. He stumbled and fell back, out cold. I slowly lowered my leg till I was standing on both feet. I caught Leone again.

"Moron." I looked up as some cops pulled up, pulling out their launchers.

"Hands in the air!" I raised my hands, ready to go home after the whole day.

"Hold your fire!" My eyes opened when I recognized the voice. A young man was walking up to me and my eyes widened. "I'm not surprised I found you fighting crime. Just can't keep away from the hero mentality, can you. It sure has been a while, hasn't it James?"

"T-Tsubasa?!"
