The sight of Supergirl's kick knocking Livewire down caused Amos to smile. Amos approached Livewire just before she scowled.
When her eyes started to shut. He turned to Supergirl as she smiled. Amos imitated her. ''I guess Livewire should have considered a battle instead of robbing the usual bank in Metropolis,'' he said. Eyes settled on the bag of money near her unconscious form.
''Let's return to Smallville,'' Supergirl said.
Amos started to nod. ''We could locate the usual territorial or hungry animal,'' he muttered. Amos thought Supergirl nodded and frowned.
After Supergirl and Amos were near several trees, they viewed a medium-sized dog-like creature appearing. They exchanged glances.
The animal crouched and snarled before it focused on Supergirl with Amos. It snapped at them as they avoided its fangs.
Glowering, Supergirl elbowed its snout before it ran. She smiled with Amos.
''We're safe with everyone in Smallville,'' Supergirl said.
Amos gave one nod. His eyes widened the minute he turned to the trees.
Several golden animal eyes appeared.
''I usually appreciate forms of unity, but...''
Amos wasn't sure if he enjoyed the sounds of animals snarling nearby as his eyes remained wide.
