Chapter 1: Bosa Towa, Usui Kuroko
Usually Bosa would go home with her friends, Ojousa and Hanya. She then would spend the rest of the day at her home, spacing out safely. However, this time her mother asked her to buy groceries.
It is a mistake to to assume that Bosa couldn't concentrate. Her magnificent talent to space out aside, when push comes to shove there is enough brain power to focus on one job and did it well. And with that focus, she went to the grocery store and bought all the necessary ingredients for a butter sashimi bun. A success story for all the spaced-out sisters out there!
So now there's no focus to go home in time. A good thing about Bosa was that her worries rarely caught up to her. A bad thing about her was that same thing. She let her body do the work.
Head empty, body light, feet moving, Bosa was a wafting cloud. Was that a man running towards her? Oh, no need to worry, he's running in a different direction. So lucky that pot of flower fell next to her and that the split clay pieces evaded her completely.
She also just happened to develop an incredible jumping powers, such that she could leap forward through half the street to avoid the truck running towards her.
Then the school's madonna, Komi Shouko, was running towards her. She must be impressed of her newfound leaping abilities. She tried it again to no avail.
Are you okay? Komi wrote on her notebook.
"Never better," Bosa said. Huh, she thought, the bag of groceries got heavy again.
She found that Komi was looking at someone behind her. She turned around and there was someone whose face was completely hidden by black headgear.
"Of course Komi can see my guardian angel," Bosa said. "She's a goddess."
Were you with her for a long time? Komi wrote on her notebook.
"I mean, have you seen her? The moment, the moment she left the store she stood still like Tree #3! People walked around her, but of course I can't let her stay like that. I can't talk to her because duh, she couldn't see me, so I just moved her. She's very light. I'm sorry to have touched you without permission, Bosa Towa."
Bosa nodded.
"When I carried the bags, she started walking, so I thought if I carried it she'd walk home. But no, what she did was wafting. There are five people almost running at her, four heavy objects almost falling on her head, and the truck! But no, she remained as light-footed as ever."
Thanks for your hard work, Komi wrote on her notebook.
"Hard work? This was the best day ever! God, Bosa, could I be your shadow forever?"
"No," Bosa said.
"Oh," Usui said. He slumped. "I guess I'll be going now. Komi, could you accompany her home?"
Komi nodded. She then accompanied Bosa home.

"Huh. I didn't know Usui is that strong," Tadano said. He looked at Komi. Especially at her slim waist.
"Would you be able to lift me?" Komi asked. A second later she realised what she was asking and shook her head, avoiding Tadano's gaze.
"Uhhhhhh," Tadano said, lost in his own thoughts. He shook his head. Again. Again, dirty thoughts are like mud. "Yes, that's really surprising. Usui likes to help from the background, but still, lifting a high school girl like that, that's just amazing. Actually, speaking of 'background', I'm reminded of another story, with Naruse and Gekidan..."
