Chapter 5: Ashitano Moe, Katai Makoto
Ashitano woke up from another burnout. What was the last one for? Ah yes, she had just finished reviewing for the incoming Maths class. Polynomials do knock her out easy. Anyway, it's still break period, so she'd just wai-
A hulk stood over her. It was Katai. His massive frame loomed over her small frame. She saw his massive shoulders, his massive pecs, his massive square body that seemed like it would burst out of his school uniform...god, he is a man.
He began shaking. Vigorously, powerfully, masculine-ly, trembling. She could feel the tremors. What could this titan want from her? She looked at him, past his muscular physique. He was carrying a piece of paper, and she could see something written on it. Her name.
"Is that...my homework?" Ashitano asked. Katai nodded. "I get it. Did I forgot to write something, and the teacher told you to bring it to me?"
Katai nodded, but Ashitano had already burned completely to white.
Ashitano woke up from another burnout. What was the last one for? Ah yes, her homework was incomplete or something. She reached for her table, only to find that it wasn't there. She was in her chair, but she was in the school infirmary. The doctor was talking to Katai, who still held the paper.
"Did you bring me here...on my chair?" Ashitano asked.
"That he did," the doctor said. "Couldn't touch an unconscious girl, apparently. Anyway, as I've told you, Katai, this is a normal thing for her. Not your fault."
"Indeed. I am fine, Katai. Apologies for the worry."
Katai walked to her and handed her the paper. She looked at it and turns out the missing parts are just the last part, which she did in an instant. It was so easy she's not even close to burning. "You should've just left it to me. I'll hand it to the teacher."
Katai shook his head. "That's my responsibility."
Ashitano nodded. So Katai also had that sense of duty, huh? What an amazing man. She handed the paper to him. Katai remained still however. "Katai? You can go to the teacher now."
"I must move the chair back."
"Oh. Of course." Ashitano stood up, but then changed her mind and sat down again. An exciting idea appeared in her mind. "Can you carry me back?"
Hell YES! Sitting on a chair that's been carried by a muscular beast felt so good! She wanted to behave like a lady, but in this case she can only behave as a Queen! Ashitano Moe? More like Ashitano Joou!
Ashitano was about to do a very unladylike laugh, but she fainted.
[break]
"Wait, is that why both Ashitano and Katai fainted in front of the classroom that day?" Tadano asked.
Komi nodded. "Katai could work himself too hard."
"Wait, the 'overworker' in this story was Katai? Not Ashitano?"
Komi shook her head. "I just want to tell a story about how someone as strong as Katai could work too hard."
"Indeed. Oh, speaking of a strong person, I need to make a report about Inui. Specifically, it's about Inui and Yamai."
Tadano's face turned dark.
Author's note: 'Joou' is Japanese for 'queen'. Ashitano is referred to as "Ashitano Jou" in her debut on chapter 258, and that name is a pun on the classic manga series "Ashita no Joe". Ashitano Joou is just a remix of that pun.
