The arrival in Argus was nothing special although it was at this point that the world travelers got an idea of just how different this world was from their own. Yang's bike could have easily been electric seeing as it didn't make typical engine noises, but entering Argus had the five women come face to face with old fashioned housing and a trolley system that was apparently hovering.

Sure they were used to dealing with their own secretish world, but this was different. Technology on this level didn't exist back on earth, but here it was just casually next to old timey architecture. It was… oddly fitting, but still a pretty clear sign that this world had something different about it that they would need to ask their new companions about.

Still, the companions of their new companions, team JNR or something, were currently leading the expanded group to the house of one of their sisters. The world travelers were a bit too busy feeling the whiplash of the technology next to the architecture to do more than just follow along only snapping out of it when they ended up in somebody's house.

It was only at this point that Team RWBY and the earthlings realized they hadn't quite introduced the new additions to the team.

"Uhh. Can I help you?" Jaune started successfully snapping those from earth out of their funk. He had of course noticed them following the group, but had figured the scantily clad women were just going the same direction. There was also the old lady, but she had clearly been coming with team RWBY and Jaune figured how that came to be would be figured out later. Well now it was later.

"Oh right! Jaune these are some new additions to the party! Maria here is a… retired huntress who is going to help me with some things." Ruby starts the introductions, "As for the other girls, they are people from another world called 'Earth' who are going to be helping us and are really strong."

"Why are they naked?" Nora pops in before getting her mouth covered by Ren a few seconds too late. The two who this applies to smirk at the question while the others from Earth facepalm.

"Let's just say it helps us use our powers and leave it at that." Aya answers, chuckling.

"Their choice of dress aside, I have some questions about your technical capabilities." Anna cuts in. "Like how were those trolley's floating?"

"What are you talking about? That is a pretty simple application of gravity dust." Weiss the resident dust expert explains confused as to why this is a question at all. Only this time she received more confusion from the earthlings.

"Dust?" The earthlings collectively ask.

What followed was a quick discussion on just what dust was. Each side had plenty of surprises in store for them. The Earthlings were amazed by just how easy dust made everything here. From the explanation Weiss gave them it was clear that you didn't just pull a crystal out of the dirt and use it, they still had to be refined, but it was just so easy.

Those from Remnant were shocked for other reasons. Particularly about the description they got about Uranium. When Anna said that it was used both as a weapon and a power source making it possibly the closest equivalent to what they had on remnant Ruby had been interested in how they used it as a weapon only to get a weird look from the earthlings. The knowledge that it was used in a city destroying bomb was alarming, this wasn't helped by Saki mentioning how during a Cold War two nations had built hundreds of the bomb.

It wasn't until Jaune's sister returned that everyone realized they hadn't spoken in about a minute. After assuring his sister that everyone here were friends of his the group got back to the discussion on how they would get the lamp to Atlas. The first idea was to get a ride from the Atlas military base in Argus. Nora mentioned how they had already tried, but Weiss was insistent that as a native of Atlas they would certainly be more accommodating.

They were not.

To make matters worse, upon returning to the Arc household Ruby broke the news about Ozpin's disappearance and Salem's immortality. Not exactly a mood lifter and pretty soon everyone had split up to do their own thing.

Figuring it would be important to actually be able to communicate, Weiss went with the Earthlings to get them some scrolls and at her insistence some more concealing clothes for Aya and Kagura.

Both girls rolled their eyes at this, but ultimately complied, especially after learning that the place they would be heading next was particularly cold. Besides who didn't love shopping.

To their surprise they would run into Oscar at the clothing store and decided it would be very entertaining to use him to play dress up. They were so distracted that Weiss didn't even notice when a message from Ruby came in.

An hour later the girls from earth plus Weiss and Oscar were heading back to the Arc household, new Scrolls and clothes in hand. Being the man of the Group Oscar had of course been covered in bags to the amusement of Aya, Saki and Kagura.

The house was empty when they got home and Oscar had started making a casserole when the rest of the team got back including a drunk Qrow passed out on the stairs.

A round of apologies took place. Jaune apologized to Oscar for lashing out at him and Weiss apologized to Ruby for not calling her back. Still a pleasant meal later and some proper introductions to Jaune's sister and her wife later had the topic brought back to how the group was going to get to Atlas.

Not being planners or particularly knowledgeable about the world Aya, Kagura and Saaki sat out while Saaya played mediator when arguments started. Jaunes idea of stealing an Atlas airship was shot down by Anna immediately when she started bringing up all the ways it could go wrong. She instead insisted that Weiss could go to Atlas with the Lamp and arrange for transport to pick the rest of them up.

RBY tried to argue against this as they didn't want to put Weiss at risk and felt like this would be abandoning her. The argument went back and forth with Anna insisting it made sense and RBY insisting they would not leave Wiess alone.

Ultimately it was Weiss that broke the stalemate.

"Alright enough!" Weiss shouted, everyone's attention snapping to her in shock. "Ruby, Anna is right. I can go to Atlas and arrange for transport for the rest of you. As for my Father… so long as I am busy in Atlas speaking with General Ironwood and Winter I doubt I will even see him so there won't be any problems."

"Are you sure?" Ruby hesitantly asks. Team RWBY had finally reunited and she hated that one of the first things they were going to do was split up again.

"I'm sure." Weiss smiles, she is reluctant to leave her team as they felt more like a family than most of her actual relatives, but this was more important than any of them.

"Well that is settled then, tomorrow Weiss will go to the military base and get a ride to this Atlas place. Then she can get us a flight from there." Anna finished before her features softened. "Look, I know you guys aren't comfortable sending your friend alone, but I am sure she will be fine. You trust her to do her part right? We should only be separated for a few days. Everything will be okay."

What followed was a nice send off party and Team RWBY all sleeping in one of the bedrooms like they had in Beacon. Seeing her off the next day at the gate, Weiss made it clear she would still be arranging transport with Atlas to pick up the rest of her party, but all that got was a patronizing 'of course dear' from Cordovin. The rest of team RWBY would watch the bullhead until it disappeared in the distance before heading home.

They expected it to only take about a week for Weiss to be back with transport and each of them spent their time differently. But after the second week everyone became worried.

Weiss still wasn't back yet.
