It had now been a few months since Lapis was trapped under the water. Pearl had come out of her room but was very cold, and distant from the others.
"Pearl, please I'm worried about you," Garnet said as she tried anything to get the pale gem to talk, but nothing was working, "Pearl we'll find Lapis I promise."
Pearl of course didn't say anything, Garnet expected this from her. She imagined that this is how Ruby or Sapphire to act if they lost each other. Pearl turned away and started walking towards the warp pad.
"Pearl! Where are you going?" Garnet asked as she tried to follow Pearl only for her to warp away in front of Garnet.
Amethyst was walking along the beach with Steven, she had her arms behind her head as she watched the waves crash onto the beach.
"Man, it's gorgeous out today isn't it Steven?" Amethyst asked as she turned her head to look at Steven.
"Yeah it is," Steven said as he looked out at the ocean, "I hope everything goes back to normal again. I miss being able to hang out with Connie."
Amethyst nodded softly as she ruffled Steven's hair a little bit. "Don't worry dude, I'm sure everything is going to be okay. I promise," Amethyst said as she laughed a little bit at Steven's reaction.
"Amethyst! Don't, you know I'm too old for that!" Steven said as he pouted a little bit.
