If I can, I'm going to try to make it my goal to update daily even if I have to keep the chapters at this length. That being said, I have a few ideas for later chapters that will more than likely take me a few days to get down, so please just hang in there with me and I'll be sure to do my best! Thank you to anyone out there who is reading this or any of my fics; my dream is to be an author so I'm doing this and all other stories whilst writing my own book to keep my work fresh, so it truly means the world to me to have feedback, whether it's praise or criticism. So yeah, Thank you! Enjoy!
As music thrummed around them, Bella and Angela danced the night away. Honestly, this environment was so different from anything that Bella had ever known in Forks and she was loving it. Truly. She imagined it must have been odd for Angela too given that she'd grown up in a mostly conservative, religious environment, but she seemed to be enjoying everything just as much as Bella in spite of missing Eric.
As far as Bella knew, Angela and Eric were still together, just long distance. Eric was all the way at the other end of the country, living out his dream in New York. Apparently his rent was extortionate, his workload was backbreaking and his days were long, but he seemed truly happy. Of course, a few thousand dollars would never go amiss, but he seemed to enjoy the challenge of living away from the small town that had coddled him for so long.
Dancing, drinking, generally enjoying the night, it wasn't long before the girls were laughing and practically falling over one another. Before long, however, Bella needed to pee. That was the one thing about drinking that she didn't like; finding the toilets in stranger's houses/buildings was the bane of her life.
"Ang!" She yelled over the music, falling forwards into her friend until she could feel their clammy skin touching. "I gotta pee!" She then hollered. Apparently that was the funniest thing ever though as they both quickly doubled over, giggling as Angela waved Bella off and turned away to dance with some nearby people.
As the urge to pee grew, Bella zoomed around the house that they were in, desperate to find a bathroom. It didn't take too long, but peeing can be an urgent issue when drunk. By the time Bella had found the bathroom, she was really just stumbling from wall to wall, not looking where she was going. What shocked her, however, was when she walked into something soft.
Soft? No, not soft, but not as hard as a wall. Not as hard as Edward. Ugh, Edward. She all but rolled her eyes. "God, really?" An infuriated voice growled, stepping backwards, away from Bella. Quickly, almost panicking, she looked up, ready to apologise, only to find her mouth unable to open. This person before her, whoever they were, was so different to Edward. In spite of the short hair and white skin, this person was just so very not-Edward.
It took Bella's eyes a second to focus, but when they did, she found herself shocked that this was a woman standing before her. Oh. An attractive woman. Holy cow. It almost skipped Bella's mind that the woman's otherwise white shirt was now stained with whatever red drink had filled her cup since Bella had all but ploughed into her. "Oh." Is all she managed to say.
Then? Well, then she bent over and hurled.
Yep, all over the woman's shoes.
"Fuck!"
And then she passed out.

Groaning, Bella slowly allowed her eyes to open, letting the light in the room fill them before they could even begin to adjust.
After blinking a few times, she could tell that she was in her own room, so she gently began to sit, spying Angela across the room on her laptop. Naturally, Angela looked up upon seeing Bella sitting up, a careful and caring expression on her face. "Hey, you all good?" She asked softly. "There's pills and water next to you." She added before Bella could reply.
Bella was beyond thankful as she rolled back onto her back then slowly onto her side, groaning the whole way until she could reach the pills and glass of water with a note beside it. Huh, why would Angela write her a note? Bella shrugged it off, she was probably planning on going out at some point and didn't know when to expect Bella up, so it made sense to leave a note. "God, I feel like I died." She grumbled, screwing her eyes shut again and hoping above all things that her head would ease up just a little.
It was another hour by the time Bella got herself up and took a shower, by which time Angela had filled her in on exactly what had happened. So, she'd puked on a stranger, passed out, then to top it all off, the same stranger had carried her home as Angela had just as much upper body strength as Bella did.
All Bella remembered was those eyes that had been glaring down at her. They had been so very stunning, even so full of anger and annoyance. It made her unsure if she wanted to run into her mysterious stranger again.
So, any thoughts or feelings so far? The one thing I will say is that the character that Bella has bumped into is an OC, so it won't be someone you recognise, I just ask that you give her a chance! If there's anything that you would specifically like/not like to happen then let me know and I'll always do what I can to do as asked. Thanks again for reading, hopefully I'll have another update up tomorrow!
