Rinoah's mom -Lindsay- walked down the stairs, very quiet. She opened the door to Rinoah's room. "Rinoah, are you awake?" Her voice is smooth and calm. She walked over to the bed. "Rinoah? Where are you?" The bed was empty, only a dent where Rinoah was sleeping. Lindsay ran upstairs and into the living room, grabbing everything she thought she needed. Lindsay ran out the door and started looking for Rinoah. There was a note on Rinoah's bed.

I'm going out, don't worry about me.

I'm just hanging out with my friend.

Her name is Camio. We're going for a walk.

-Rinoah

The thing is, the year is 1960. This is the year the most murders because there was a serial killer on the loose, people didn't know what her name was, but when they found a dead body, most of then had "Camio" carved into the back of the victim. Nobody knows who "Camio" is, they just know they're deadly. That's the exact reason why Lindsay freaked out right away.

Brick wall. Am I dead? I don't have my hearing aids in. Crap. Rinoah looked around, Where the hell am I? Rinoah realized she was in an alleyway. She looked around and saw someone at her feet, dead. "Camio '' was carved in the back. Was Camio just here!? Rinoah tried to run, but she couldn't move. Why can't I fucking move? She could see the blue and red lights glowing brighter. Shit! I didn't murder this person, move, Move, MOVE! She finally jumped onto a deck ladder on the back of an apartment building. She hid on one of the decks. Thank God! As soon as Rinoah had jumped, the cops turned the corner to see the body.
"140. We got a 140." The cop talked into his walkie talkie. "Also, 133. Looking for 'Camio' now." I read his lips. I've been good with that because my whole life I've been deaf, so I've learned a few tricks. The cop looked up with his flashlight right at me. I ducked down. Shit! I left my arm underneath the railing. He saw it. "I found evidence, may be another murder. Out." I quickly got up, this time it wasn't delayed. I ran up to the top of the building, the cop ran too. The cop quickly pulled out a gun, I had just enough time to see it was a dart gun. Great, one shot and I'm knocked out. I got to the top of the building. I ran into another cop. When I ducked before the other cop must've called for backup. This cop had a cloth in his hand.

"Look, I'm not going to hurt you if you cooperate." I watched his lips move. I mouthed at him crying,

"Can you read lips?" He shook his head yes.

"I'm deaf, so I can't understand you that much." I tried to say, I'm not sure if I said it, or if I just mouthed it. He nodded at me.

"You killed that person?" He asked.

"I- No, at least I don't think so. I just woke up standing next to the person."

"Probably wanted to frame you, mind if I bring you to the station so we can ask you questions?" I looked at his badge and it said Benson. I nodded. It was a long car ride to the station. I saw my neighborhood, and I saw my mother. She pulled the cop car over. I didn't want to watch they're conversation. So I hid behind and kind of underneath the passenger seat. He poked at me. I flinched. I looked up at Benson. He told me in sign language "She is gone, you can sit up now, is she your mother?" I nodded my head. I signed back,

"I don't want to talk to her, even if she might be worried sick. It's just I'd have to explain things to her even I don't even understand."
