Amos started to scowl the minute he viewed Supergirl battling one creature near the Pig Pit in Smallville.
''It's after midnight,'' he said to her. Amos viewed her turning to him with wide eyes. ''Why are you shocked?''
''I focused on protecting others from creatures before you appeared,'' Supergirl said after she scowled.
After Supergirl faced the creature, she punched it repeatedly. She imagined that it was Amos she attacked. His wide eyes.
His cries. One smile materialized the minute the animal fled. She joined Amos and went to their farm.
Supergirl located brownies on the counter and brought them to a table. She sat across from Amos and took a brownie. Her smile remained even when he imitated her. Supergirl wondered if one brownie was a happy thought for Amos. She got her answer when he continued to smile. The animal wasn't remembered any longer.
