At night before new year
At night, Ellie went to retrieve her illegal fireworks hidden away somewhere in her store. Of course, times have changed. It was no longer her store. Now, it was owned by somebody else. Ellie entered a secret entrance that led to the inside of her once-owned store. She needed to be stealthy like a professional robber so she wore dark clothing, a hairnet under her cap, gloves, different masks, and shoes that don't leave footprints for this mission. One of the tiles on the floor opens as she first checks if there's any security be tampered. When she saw the coast was clear, she gets up from the entrance. She successfully enters the store from the inside, moving fast, yet carefully. She makes her way to the storage room and opened a secret door that was hidden among the walls. She got what she was looking for. She whispers to herself "Hell, fucking yeah!" As she goes back to the entrance, she looks back at the register thinking she can get some extra cash but decided not to, in order to avoid suspicion. Finally, she makes sure no evidence is found by daybreak. Her mission accomplished, she closes the secret entrance and returns from where she came from, the sewer hole. Inside of the dark and disgusting sewer, her body reacted to the darkness and the cold environment, making her luminescent except for her clothing. She pulled out a map that showed the path to some other places. She thought of going to the Trashzone, since it has less security there and it's a good way to avoid any suspicions from her other friends.
She placed the fireworks inside her inventory which is her backpack and began to walk into the darkness with no fear or discomfort noticing the putrid smell and the shuffling of weird darkners that inhabited the sewer. When she reached her destination, she changed her appearance into a Swatchling by wearing a bird mask and furry gloves, removing her cap and hairnet, making her hair long and fluffy like that one time she avoided suspicion from her peers. After changing, she opened the entrance hoping nobody was there, though as she expected, she saw Spamton on top of the dumpster reading old newspapers from 1997. Hearing something in the background, Spamton puts down his newspaper and spots Ellie emerging from the sewer hole and looking directly at him, Spamton was astonished and asked Ellie a question. "H OLLY! WHAT A RE YOU DOING DOW IN THE [manhole]?! YOU [Silly bird]" "Uhh... tacking a shortcut, hoping nobody can see me but here you are Spammy." Ellie said with a chuckle. Spamton squinted his eyes in suspension and said "HA! [I know you], YOU DON'T LIKE D IRTY STUFF BUT HERE YOU ARE I N THE [fitly manhole]. [WHAT ARE YOU UP TO] HU?... D O YOU HAV3 AT LIST [KROMER]?" he questioned. Ellie's color returned to green once she asked him back. "Do you at least have something I need?..." Ellie replied with one eyebrow up. Spamton can't help but burst into excitement with anticipation of telling her about a deal she can't resist. A random music called HEY EVERY ! played in the background suddenly. Ellie wondered where did this music come from. She heard this before but couldn't ask questions about it, so she plays along. "ACTUALLY... [YES]! INTRODUCING! THE ! IT HAS [50MG OF CAFFEINE] INCLUDING! [CREAM], AND [S UGAR]!. THIS [# ^%&$*] COFFEE IS SO GOOD! YOUR [Heart] WILL [burst like a balloon]" He opens the cover of the coffee cup and a scent of strong caffeine made Ellie's pupils expand. Ellie replied with defeat and profanity. "GODDAMIT, Spamton!" she gave him 10G, and a deal was made. The music started to fade as Ellie took a sip of her coffee, surprised at its lukewarm temperature. "Probably stole it a couple minutes ago." She smiled at Spamton, satisfied, and said "Ah, yes I love stolen coffee in the evening. You really know my coffee, buddy." As she takes a sip. Spamton asked "HOW WAS MY [performance]?" hoping he can get a praise from Ellie."That was an amazing advertisement back there, you surprised me." Ellie nodded in agreement and takes another sip. "However there's some mistakes, like your smell and your clothing, People won't trust a stranger who looks like ...uhhm." Ellie shot up for a moment while her color changed to purple and throws a weak smile. "LOOK! I GE-" Spamton was interrupted by Ellie's sincere apology "NO!, NO! Your performance was amazing and I love your confidence, but people often judge others based on appearance." Spamton reassured Ellie with "I KNOW, I [GET IT]!" his voice change into a menacing tone, which made Ellie worry for the next customer. Ellie quickly changed the subject, telling Spamton that there will be a surprise for him on the Ferris wheel ride later. She manages to get Spamton's attention, then he asks "WILL THERE BE [KR0MERS]?" she replied mirroring him "GUARANTEE!" the two then discuss where and when will they meet up for later.
After talking to Spamton, Ellie hid the illegal fireworks to a place that is deserted and after fixing the machine that can set the firework show on, she went straight to the sewers and went home.
The Ferris wheel ride
She successfully convinced Spamton to hop in her bag and take him somewhere special for tonight. Earlier, Ellie hired a random Werewire to hold their place in line. Most of the kids and adults who've been waiting for an hour looked at Ellie with an expression that said "Are you serious?" After a long wait, they finally got to ride on the Ferris wheel. She unzips her bag and Spamton came out with a burger on his hand. "Where the fuck did you get that?" Ellie questions him. "O H WHEN WE WERE WAITING FOR THE [RIDE OF A LIF E TIME] I GRAB SOMETHING F ROM TH3 TRASHCAN, WHO WOULD WASTE A [4.99] BURGER." Ellie is slightly disgusted at her friend, choosing to ignore the fact that he'd eat something from a trashcan. A minute passed and they were greeted by the beautiful sight of the whole CYBERCITY view, truly remarkable, a sight to behold, Several skyscrapers could be seen jutting out above the neon-lined sky, with a superhighway of data-containing cars weaving between them, their colors dancing and complement each other, while in the distance, an ominous yet wondrous pillar of darkness looms above the settlement, stretching beyond the vast dome of Cyber City. "It's fucking beautiful isn't it?" Ellie asks while being mesmerized by the sight. Spamton replied with "[YEAH]!." It has been 3 years since they became friends and Ellie thought that it's about time he learned the truth about her identity.
She told Spamton that she's gonna confess something to him, Spamton looked at her with a smirk and said "[Look sweet heart] IT WAS O BVIOUS THAT YOU WANNA [PURCHASE] THIS [4.99] [HOT SINGL3 IN YOUR AR3A, CALL NOW], THAT'S W HY YOU BROUGHT ME HERE, W ITH YOU, [[alone]]... HA HA HA! NOBODY C AN R3SIST MY [CHARM]." He immediately boasted while hoping to get this over with already. Her color started to glow an orange hue. Ellie cut his pride with "Yeah... but I love that guy who once lived at the Queen's mansion, who wears a big smile, a red suit and loves advertising cars." she gets a soft blush while smirking back at him. Spamton gets pissed and replied harshly with "YOU KNOW WHAT H APPENDED! TO THAT [BIG SHOT]?... HE [died] AND DROWNED IN THE [river acid], [N3VER] TO RETURn3D." He replied bitterly, Ellie's color is now periwinkle She apologizes for making him angry. The room is silent for a while. Ellie started to gaze at the city under them and asked him. "I'll be honest with you, I've met the Blue addison befo-" Ellie's words cut off with "IF YOU TWO ARE [friends], WHY DON'T YOU [join in] WITH THEM?!" He replied bitterly, once again. "Hold on, you didn't let me finish yet you asshole. Besides, they're too smart for me." She replied calmly while her color returned to green, taking a deep breath and getting ready to continue her sentence.
"Look, Blue is just my acquaintance, nothing else, all right? We've been talking about you, and how you were before you became famous. And WOW!, your friends love you... I didn't have those kind of friends until I got my job." She stated, as her green glow swapped to yellow. "But my point is that you were loved and you lost it but it's ok, we found each other, you're not alone, Spammy." she looked at him with a soft smile. "And did you know that you're my first friend? Sure, at first, I was annoyed by you but once I found out that we have a lot in common, I figured why don't we stick together? After all, we slightly have the same tragic backstory involving our fame and fortune taken away by our actions, nobody is to blame but ourselves, Spamton." She stated. " So yeah, I'm sorry if sometimes my words are rude, it's just... my, way, of... hiding, my... feelings. But I didn't mean it, I swear." her yellow outline is now mixed with purple as she awkwardly said. "HMMM! CAN I REALLY [Trust] YOU!?" He asked, Ellie replied with a simple "Uh, yeah, sure. Any secret you can tell me. I'm not much of a snitch, I'm a Swatchling. HAHAHAHA!" She laughed awkwardly hoping it wasn't obvious that she was wearing a disguise but she couldn't lie to her friend anymore.
The Face reveal
Spamton raised an eyebrow with a seductive smug on his face and said "SO... HOW MUCH AR3 YOU G OING TO PAY, FOR THIS [HOT SUFF]?" Ellie softly blushes, causing her color to turn pink. and responded with a weak smile and with a quiver in her voice "I-I'll T-THINK ABOUT IT." covering her face from embarrassment, and said "Is it me or is it hot here? Hold on." She takes her swatchling mask off, revealing her true face. with a weak smile she looked directly at Spamton, hoping that he'll accept the real her. She was beginning to doubt in this idea, for Spamton's face turned scarlet and started glitching, The moment was silent and her anxiety was getting stronger, plaguing her mind with discouraging thoughts once again. She timidly said, "S-should I put-" Spamton broke out of his dazed and shouted "[NO]! YOU'R3 A [HOT SINGLE NI MY AREA]." He said in a thrilled manner while steam came out of his jaw. And how convenient it was that fireworks showed up to light the sky, grabbing Ellie's attention for a while. Understandably Ellie was a bit on edge with her friend. "HOLLY! Y OU DIDN'T TELL M3 YOU'RE A ONE [Hell] OF A [HOOCHI MAMA]! SALESLADY ALL THIS TIME! HAHAHAHAHAHA!" He laughs while glitching like a madman, which made Ellie a bit frightened at the moment, and suddenly she wanted to jump off the Ferris wheel ride but she took a look at the window and it was a 550 feet drop. Ellie replied, still shocked from Spamton's lewd and rude complement. "H-hey now, T-thanks for the c-compliment but I l-like you, to tone down the s-sexual t-theme, ok?" She gestured to calm him down, Spamton's body trembles in joy "HOLLYYYY! MY [Heart]!X10 MY...[[hyperlink blocked]]... HAHAHAHA! IT'S AN [pleasure]! TO SEE YOUR [Beautiful face]!" He replied with genuine feeling, Ellie replied in a bashful tone. "Ohhh stop it~, BIG SHOT. You're just judging my appearance." Spamton shook his head in disagreement, telling her. "[Wrong]!, HOLLYYY! YOU'RE A NICE [costumer], YOUR [beautiful] FACE IS JUST THE [cherry on top]" he winked. He further talks about what makes her special compared to others. "YOU! [[ Pay your D3pt in time]], Y OU! L3T M3 STAY IN YOUR [cheap motel near you] AND YO U EV3N GOT ME A [Costumer], JUST TO [help me]!. HOW DID YOU DO THAT?" Spamton questioned her methods, She replied with slight confidence in her tone this time. "It's nothing. I just look for people who have bad intentions or at least gullible ones. I leave them notes and I'll find them once they answer it. Let's just say it's one of my abilities." Spamton laughs like a psycho, and with authentic words, he lets out his feelings to Ellie. "HOLLY! THIS IS WHY I [[hyperlink block]] YOU!... HAHAHA!." As he glitches while laughing nervously, there is one more question in his mind. "SO! YOU'R3 AN ADDISON RIGHT?"He ask Ellie, she answered back with sincere honesty.
"Correction, I'm a half addison. There's some swatchling DNA in me which probably made me tall, strong, and my outline glow. I'm also fuzzy and my feathers only grow on my forearms. Have you ever been associated with other hybrids before?" Spamton tries to remember the last time he saw a hybrid, he answers with a shrug. Ellie added "Also the sad part is, the fact that I can't fly with my friends, I always get left behind sometimes. But, that's ok, that was before and now they prefer to walk with me." she said with a proud smile. *sigh* "but I don't get paid enough for my hard work at the Queen's mansion sadly." as she shook her head. Spamton asks "IF B3ING A [underpaid employee of the month] IS A PROBLEM, WHY N OT [Quit]!" he suggested to her.
Ellie said in a distressed voice. "Well, I got a bad experience about business and I only know the basics of business practices. but I'm having a hard time talking to strangers and I can't even count money higher than the hundreds, I often leave that responsibility to my sister. Don't get me wrong, being a Big shot was fun while it lasted, I became a threat to other casinos because I kept winning and fighting back. I have so many friends that wanted to touch me in my happy arias, they all keep saying that I'm the BEST gambler in Cybercity! and I often throw money like it was nothing, sometimes I used it as a tissue to dry my tears of joy." she giggled and boasted, hoping to get a reaction from Spamton, and she did. Spamton barked at Ellie "[ YOU 3]!? H OW CAN YO WAST [KROMERS] LIK3 T HAT! NO WONDER YOUR [& *&^%$] BROKE." Ellie give him a embarrass expression with a weak smile and said, "HEY! It was a long time ago, I'm not like that anymore. anyway I was probably making it rain for my friends? Who knows, I was drunk every party" Ellie shrugs to that cringy moment and continues to tell him the reason why she lost everything. "But then I lost everything because I was too drunk that night, I overestimated my self Therefore, to my carelessness I lost the game. My sister was embarrassed by me and I'm on thin ice that night, from being disowned. " fore some reason, Spamton feels pity towards Ellie's misfortune. Ellie continues to elaborated her downfall "My friends are pissed because of me; they also a ton of money because of me. I let them down Spamton, I'm beyond embarrassed. Do you know what that feels like?" She said with defeat while returning with fear in her tone " Spamton, I'm the kind of person that thinks about the safety of customers and their enjoyment, I slightly don't care about money all I want was to see my customers satisfied. But don't like big responsibilities, it scars me I'm better off without fame and fortune." Ellie sighs and said, "So yeah please don't ask me again why I don't want to be a big shot." Her color changed to blue and purple. She turns her face away from him, as tears start to form and drip down on her cheeks. she tries her best to keep it together and hide her face from Spamton's view. Spamton didn't expect this event will be emotional for the both of them, He can't help but notice her reflection on the heart-shaped window, making her effort on hiding her face useless. he gets off from his seat while the invisible strings tried to pull him back, but he still proceeds to sit beside her. while slightly hesitating to hold her hand and lean towards her, letting her know that he's there for her, Ellie grabbed Spamton and hug him tight. He can hear sniffling from her, and he can feel the tears drip down on his back. He tried to hug her back but the invisible strings won't allow it, Spamton apologies to Ellie for being too forceful "HOLLY, I W ON'T FORC3 YOU, IF IT MAK3S Y OU [unsatisfied]." Ellie replied with a sniffle "You know at first I need a drink, but now I don't feel like it. Thanks to you, pal." She said with a happy smile, Spamton replied with a smirk "ANYTIME, [Dear customer], ANYTIME."
Ellie notice that there are fewer fireworks in the sky, she almost forgot the BIG surprise for Spamton. she pulled out a button with a cover on it and present it to him. and ask "will you do the honors, of startling everybody in Cybercity?" Spamton without any question, press the button. The machine activated and started shooting illegal Fireworks, decorating the sky with glimmering colors while accompanied by a roaring thundering boom that shook Cybercity to its core. one rocket manage to hit the dome but had no effect on it, the loud booming sounds of Fireworks successfully startled everyone.
Mission Complete
A couple of hours ago, Before Spamton presses the button. The Pink addison was exhausted from his job and celebrating new-year with his friends. but he still needs to do one thing, an hour later. He's almost done stacking up the 500 teacups, all of the teacups are stacked in a group of triangles forming what looks like a symbol from a familiar and famous video game franchise. It is Pink's turn to host the picture taking for this year, and Pink prefers to have a background of teacups in the photo. When pink is done with the stacking, he calls his friends for a group photo. As they're getting ready for the Yearly photo, Blue notices the yellow addison is looking bored as hell. Blue asks "Yellow, are you ok? Your not your usual enthusiastic self." Yellow replied with concern. "Uh yes, I'm ok. It's just that he usually Spamton causes trouble before picture taking, and It's sad to think that he's spending his time alone on the new year." Blue reassured Yellow "I'm pretty sure he misses us too, but he's in good hands now, so don't be too sad about him." Blue replied with a smile, yellow replied with excitement "Really! Do you think he'll get better?" Blue replied with confidence, and with a simple. "Yeah!" This made Yellow feel better, knowing his best friend is getting help. everybody is in their places, And just as the timer is about to take the photo. A loud sound of explosion startled everybody, Blue accidentally knocked the collection of teacups off. Loud-shattering of glasses and parts of the cup are flying everywhere. Luckily nobody got hurt, Pink was devastated at the sight of his hard work destroyed. The orange addison suggested that he'll clean the mess up for him, Pink just casually walk to the couch, lay down, and begins to sleep. Blue apologies but pink was fast asleep already, yellow suggest helping Orange with the mess. blue agreed, he grab a broom and join Yellow and Orange. Orange said " hey guys, do you think Spamton is the cause of this?" he questioned. Yellow answer "Yeah! I can feel it." Blue giggled and suggested checking out the fireworks outside. The 3 marveled at the chaotic colors exploding loudly in the sky, Yellow said "happy new year, spamton!" while he chuckle, Blue follow with "Yeah! Happy new year, Spammy." Orange gets his party whistle from his pocket and blows it.
In the Queen's mansion, Tasque manager is done preparing food for her tasques friends, she capt them in a room with tasque toys, relaxing peaceful music, and other things to distract them from the chaos of New years celebration. When she open the door to greet her friends, a loud booming sound echoed throughout the hallway and startled the tasques. The tasques escape from their enclosure and scattered, leaving Tasque manager to drop her now ruined tasques food on the floor. the music suddenly changes into Pandora Palace as the background music. The team of housekeeper swatchlings awoke from their peaceful slumber to hearing the familiar sounds of the Queen's vase breaking and the fabrics being torn. The housekeeper swatchlings grab their trusty household cleaning utensils like soldiers and charge into battle, repeating the chaos once again.
Meanwhile on the top floor of the mansion, the music called Queen is played as the background music. The Queen stare at the majestic mess in the sky, while flashes of multi-colored sparkles and dance in a chaotic state. She was amazed at the firework show and she thought of an idea for next new-year, She called for Swatch "Swatch Darling!, I want does exact Fireworks for next year!. Oh! And I want it to customize does Fireworks into my own design. You know, something to remind the citizens of Cybercity that I'm still there Queen. OHH HOH HOH HOH HOHHH!~" She requested while laughing. Swatch a bit concerned, tried to reason with the Queen about this dangerous request. "My Queen with all due respect, that kind of fireworks is dangerous, and it's hard to find one of does. not mention, what if one of my employees gets hurt during the process of lighting does things? Are you sure about this?" Swatch worried, Queen replied with " Is my instruction invalid? I said, I want one customize, NO buts about it! Oh and get me my usual drink before this firework show end or else." Swatch quickly replied "yes Queen!." he hurries to get his majesty's drink.
Ellie...
It's almost 6 am and Ellie returned Spamton to his home, under the street light Ellie opens her backpack and carries Spamton out. Placing him on top of the dumpster, Ellie tried to start a conversation, just to get a little more time with him. "So this is goodbye for now, huh?" Ellie awkwardly said Spamton replied with "HOLLY! I [[hyperlink blocked]] YOU! YOU'RE A [[priceless deal]] , A [diamond in the rough] I W OULD SAY... AM SO [[LUCKY]] TO HAVE YOU AS MY [loyal customer]" Ellie takes off her Swatchling mask one more time for him, displaying a sad expression. "Spamton I know, I said "I don't wanna be a Big shot." but I just realized something. I'm the only one who can make myself better, maybe someday I'll gather enough courage to try again on becoming a Big shot," she said in an uplifting tone, Spamton happily said "[That's my girl!] I'LL BE T HER3 WH3N Y OU FINALLY! [Stand up] FOR W HAT IS [RIGHT]" He said as foreshadowing an event. Behind the satisfying features, Ellie felt a bit uneasy about the quote "Stand up for what is right." Ellie questioned herself for more, "Stand up for what is right? what does that mean?...or when does that mean... oh boy, what does the future await me? I certainly don't what are friendship/partnership to end." Ellie sigh and spoke to him "My dear friend if EVER, I mean I'm not really sure what will happen. If we end up fighting each other, I want you to know that my hands are open for you." She said demonstrating an open palm to him. "Because despite everything it still you," she said in a sincere uplifting way. for the first time Spamton feels that there's is hope for him, he tried to reach for her hand. But suddenly, the door that leads to the queen's mansion burst open. Triggering Spamton's fight or flight instinct, in this case, he chose flight and flees from her and hides behind another trashcan. Ellie was called for an emergency in the mansion, Ellie quickly put on her mask before facing the swatchlings. She quickly agrees and proceeds to help her friends out, living Spamton alone again.
Spamton feels sad because it made him feel as do he is a useless item again. He asked the strings of faith "why is it every time I'm about to have something good in my life, it always gets ruined." he thought to himself, The strings replied with silence just waving slowly to the wind. Spamton looks down with a heavy sigh and walks alone to his home. He hops on the left side of the cover, opens the right cover, and jumps in. Spamton had turns this dumpster into his cozy hideout or his home, the walls are decorated with glow-in-the-dark stars each star has different sizes but his favorite was the moon lamp that Ellie gift him from Christmas before leaving the building. It was placed on the shelf next to him, Spamton reach for his pocket and found a latter for him, it said.

My real name is Ellie, I knew i would run out of time to say this to you but... here is your kromers and your New Year pictures of me and you, keep it so you will always remember that there someone who cares about you, OK . I hope you enjoy are time together, Have a happy New Year, buddy! Good night"

Spamton eats the 50 kromers and added a picture of him and Ellie next to the lamp. He lay down on his dirty yet soft pillow and closes his eyes with a satisfied smirk. Knowing that he matters to Ellie, dearly. He's so happy and satisfied for tonight but part of him wondered When will this love end, he tried not to think about it and soon fell asleep. The next morning, he wakes up from a terrible vision of an upcoming event. he now knows that Ellie will be participating in this event, and it made him stressed and depressed again. As he curled up in a ball crying, he thought about Ellie's demise. But he had an idea, he was thinking of maybe locking Ellie in his shop to avoid the snowgrave route's wrath or breaking up their relationship for the better, He chose to lock her in the shop, not knowing its effect on her.

WOW, this is a long rollercoaster right huh? Yeah, this came out pretty late but let's just consider this is a New-year and valentine's story. I also got help from a friend, who checked my grammar. But hey, I finally finished it there's a lot of homework to do, and I'm doing this in my free time only. I hope you enjoy the story so far, I'm planning to make an A.U for my oc next time.
