Amos tensed and scowled the minute one territorial creature appeared. He held his arm out before Supergirl could approach it.
He thought she frowned.
''I can fly above your arm,'' Supergirl said.
The creature approached Supergirl and Amos.
Supergirl began to smile. ''We're together before we battle creatures or villains. After we defeat them. Unity,'' she said to him.
Supergirl viewed him nodding. She flew to the animal and elbowed its side. Kicked its shoulder.
Amos watched as the creature's tail struck Supergirl's back and knocked her down before his eyes flew open.
He ran to Supergirl and wrapped his arms around her. Even when the creature departed. Amos remembered her mentioning them being together.
''Not like this.''
After Amos lifted Supergirl, he carried her to their farm and eventually placed her on a bed. He remained near it even when she opened her eyes and smiled.
''Unity?'' Supergirl mumbled.
Amos smiled prior to a nod.
