Half Vampire Jeremy and his four vampire mates
Chapter One:
Jeremy Gilbert was panicking as he woke up in his bed, a vial of blood in his hand from his vampire friend Anna and as he saw Stefan and Elena in the room, Elena was worried while Stefan was staring at him in shock.
"He's in transition at this moment," Stefan noted to Elena who ended up pushing Stefan out of the way and hugged her brother. "Elena! He could be dangerous!" Elena glared at him heatedly.
"You're more dangerous then he is," she snapped before sighing. "I'm so sorry for snapping at you Stef." She looked down. "Damon just…he's going back to stalking me after I told him-never in a million years will we be together." Stefan chuckled and ran a hand through his friend's long hair.
"I'll try to contain him," he promised. "I'll try." Elena smiled sadly before keeping her arms around her brother as she looked down.
"Jeremy? Are you hungry?" She asked and he nodded. "Take my blood, please." She whispered as she moved her hair out of the way. His eyes were on her carotid and as he bit her, he groaned as his sister's blood tasted good but he pulled back as he heard her heart beat falter a tiny bit. Pulling his fangs out, he looked at her in horror but she wiped the blood from his lips. "Are you okay now?" He nodded and laid his forehead on her collarbone.
Elena ran a hand through his hair and kissed the top of his head. He smiled and allowed his eyes to flutter close, his heartbeat steady as he slept.
"He's half vampire and half warlock," Stefan whispered to Elena who nodded. "Are you sure you're going to be okay here?" She nodded again and smiled at Jeremy.
Jeremy felt himself tied up and as he looked up, he saw Damon there and the man had a predatory glint in his eyes.
"You look delicious," he purred. "May I take a bite?" Jeremy opened his mouth to say no he felt a piece of cloth had gagged him and as Damon bit him, tears fell from the boy's eyes as the pain engulfed him.
"Go take care of Caroline who needs you," she whispered and at the mention of the new baby vampire-full vampire, that is-he sighed. "Go on. I can care for Jeremy and if need be…John." Her eyes flashed at the thought of her birth father who she despised instantly after discovering that bit of news.
Once he was gone, she smiled and as she settled Jeremy in the bed, she went downstairs and started cleaning up the blood when she felt someone behind her. Turning, she saw herself and she raised an eyebrow.
"You must be the infamous Katherine 'slutty' Pierce," Elena drawled. "What the hell do you want?" Katherine smirked and pointed at her. "Me? Well what's new?" Elena turned and when Katherine was about to bite her, Jeremy snapped the vampire's neck. "Well I was going to stab her and then stake her…" Elena turned to show her little brother a stake and a steak knife in her hands. "Can I stab her? Please?"
"Go right ahead," Jeremy said. "I'll text Stefan to take her to the tomb and toss her in there." Elena smiled and kissed her brother's cheek before she began to stab Katherine numerous times in her stomach and chest.
Stefan was eyeing the way Elena was stabbing Katherine and then his shock at how Caroline fretted over Elena and Jeremy before she helped with the stabbing made him wary. He knew that the blonde had some anger issues but he didn't know just how much her anger at Katherine was.
He gulped thickly and as he pulled Elena away, she looked at him with wide, dark eyes that were covered in anger.
"She stabbed John and while I hate him I didn't want him to suffer that much," she hissed. "I wanted him to suffer in a different way." Caroline and Jeremy nodded and as he helped Stefan pick up the vampire's body, he walked backwards as he held her upper body. Stefan was walking forward with Katherine's lower body in his arms and as they got to his car, Stefan dropped her lower body and opened his trunk before helping Jeremy toss her in it.
"I'm going to need help throwing her in the tomb," he sighed and Jeremy nodded. "Jeremy?"
"I'll help you with tossing her into the tomb," Jeremy said as he moved to the passenger seat. "Come on Stef. This would be a better trip then it would with Damon." Stefan nodded, as he knew he was right.
Any trip he had ever made with Damon was a pile of crap.
Katherine woke up, bloody and with a killer headache and as she looked up, she paled in horrified realization.
Besides being trapped in the tomb, she was also without any blood bags with her. They were going to starve her.
"What have you done?" She asked Stefan who was there in front of her. "What have you done?" Stefan shook his head.
"Secured the fate of Mystic Falls from whatever you're planning on doing," he told her. There was some affection but it had died and it was a bitter realization that it had been compelled. "I'm sorry Katherine…this is the way it has to be."
"You have no idea what trouble is coming," she hissed angrily. "You don't know what I've done that Elena's now paying for. What I'm doing here…I'm bargaining my freedom so that I'm not always living out of a suitcase."
Stefan stared at her.
"Who is after you?" He asked and she shook her head.
"Let's say that the people I ticked off…well they're not a forgiving kind," she admitted. "They will stop at nothing to kill me and honestly I'd rather be alive than dead." She then gave a smirk. "I'm the safest psychotic bitch in town."
"You won't be safe for long," Jeremy said as he appeared. "If the people who are after you want you…I'll hand you over to them." Katherine looked at him with a raised eyebrow.
"You sure about that?" She asked him. "That's dark even for you." He smiled and his fangs were out on display.
"Not as dark as you think," Jeremy reminded her. "I died and transitioned…and pretty soon you won't be in there by yourself."
The next few days were good and as Elena and Bonnie helped not only Caroline but Jeremy with their new vampirism (Bonnie going almost into shock when Elena had allowed both Caroline and Jeremy to feed from her) it was now time for the carnival.
Elena was helping Jeremy with setting up while rebuffing Tyler's flirtations as well as Damon's (on only Jeremy's end actually) when Elena cut her finger, causing Jeremy to look at her in shock. Elena shrugged and placed the bleeding digit in her mouth. Pulling it out, she took a step back.
"I'm just gonna go fix my finger," she told him. "I'll be fine Jer. If Damon or Tyler comes this way find Caroline, Bonnie or Stefan." He nodded and as she went into the nurse's office to get a Band-Aid, she saw Caroline behind her. "Care? Did you follow me?" Caroline nodded.
"I was worried," she whispered. "I was worried about why you were leaving Jeremy all alone with Damon and Tyler out there." Elena showed her the bandaged finger. "Paper cut."
"My blood isn't that good but I'm human," Elena told her. "What does my blood taste like to you?" Caroline flashed her a grin.
"Like three of my favorite ice cream flavors had melted together to create it." Elena laughed.
"Alright now let's go…" she stopped as one of the linebackers was there with his eyes on them. "Archie no. Just no as we don't want you."
"I'm the best you can do," he told them. "I'm the very best."
"I'm pretty sure we can find better," Caroline said with a flick of her blonde locks. "Honestly we might just want a man and not a boy." Taking her best friend's hand in hers, the two walked away only for Mason Lockwood to step in front of them, holding old milk bottles.
"Maybe you ladies can help me?" He said with a lecherous look in his eyes. "I need to know where these things go."
"Talk to Maya Raymond for that," Elena told him. "Also we're not interested."
Jeremy was glowering at Damon and Tyler and as he found Bonnie, he smiled at her who looked behind him to see Damon and Tyler just watching him with lustful eyes.
"You two get to damn work," Bonnie ordered. "I will tell Caroline and we know she will go off on the two of you for not doing your damn jobs!" A flick of her index finger on her thumb, like she was getting rid of a dead flea, the two felt an electrical current strike their spines.
The two ran off, intent on doing what they were meant to do when Elena and Caroline came in, both looked angry and harassed.
"What happened?" Jeremy worried and Elena smirked.
"Caroline and I are being stalked by a few people-one of them being that damn linebacker on the team," Elena told them. "The one who has the muscles and is trying to become the next Arnold Schwarzenegger." Caroline sighed.
"On top of that we have Mason Lockwood who wants us," Elena added. "The Lockwood men want the unobtainable." Bonnie whistled.
"Damon and Tyler are really getting on our nerves," Jeremy told them with a slight shiver. "I can't go back to where I was working…not without having them watch me and possibly imagine me with them." He shook his head in disgust. "I don't want them and I would rather wait on who fate decides on who should be with me."
Elena, Caroline and Bonnie nodded.
"Wait on fate," Elena told him with a kiss to his cheek before she began to tickle him. "Just wait on fate." He was laughing and trying to move out of the way when Bonnie joined in as Caroline looked at the three of them like a mom would watch over her children who were happy and playing some games.
"Going mama hen on me?" Stefan asked her and she nodded at him with a smile on her face.
"Go join the tickle pile," she said smiling and he did. "My little babies…oh it makes my heart flutter."
Later that night Mason Lockwood smirked and as he touched Elena's arm with a finger and she turned, punching him in the throat. She smirked as he placed a hand on his throat where she had punched him.
"Go away now or else I'll kick you in the nuts," Caroline told him as she appeared. "I would rather sleep with the devil and go into a friends with benefits deal with him than be whatever you want me to be."
"Ditto," Elena said with a dark glower. "I don't like you! Never had and never will." She looked at him with her eyes almost black in color. "The only reason why you're even here is for your brother's wake."
"You're really creepy and add that you're stalking us…be thankful that we didn't get my mom involved or even Carol Lockwood," Caroline added. "She would have you in a damn cell."
He glared and as he grabbed Elena's arm enough to bruise her, he had a hand on Caroline's throat only for him to fall down, letting go of the girls who then kicked him in the stomach and in the groin.
"Well now when ladies say no it means no," they turned to see a young man there with brown hair and wearing something that could be considered a suit but it was more…casual. "Did your mommy not teach you manners dog?" A wicked smirk on his face at the words hitting Mason made the smirk widen.
"Lockwoods are apparently werewolves right?" Caroline asked him and at his nod, she turned to Mason and her face vamped out before melting, causing him to look at Elena who shrugged. "She's not a vampire."
"But she's mine," Mason argued. "Leech she's mine." Elena clicked her tongue at him.
"I'm my own person and I'm no ones prize," Elena snarled. "I don't want to be some damn trophy."
A flick of the man's wrist caused Mason to collapse into an uneasy sleep and he smiled at the girls.
"Kai Parker," he said smiling. "You?" Elena smiled.
"Elena Gilbert and she's one of my besties Caroline Forbes," she said as they held their hands out for him to shake. "What brings you around here?" Kai smirked with a shrug.
"Passing through," he said evenly. "Just passing through."
Stefan was laughing with Jeremy and Bonnie, both seemingly happy, as they were eating some cotton candy and buttered popcorn.
"Let's go on the Ferris Wheel," Bonnie said as she grabbed Jeremy and Stefan's hands. "Let's go!"
"Why don't I go on with you?" They looked to see Tyler and Damon who were watching them curiously but with hidden agendas.
Bonnie smirked.
"You can come on after us," she said and as she got into her little seat she had Jeremy and Stefan on either side of her. "You can go on now." Her smirk grew and she whispered something, causing them to hold their heads. By the time the seat they were on hit the ground, they were running from the Ferris Wheel.
"Damn it Damon," Tyler seethed. "Where did they go?" Damon was trying to pinpoint their heartbeats but he couldn't find them. He went one way but they weren't there, he went another way but again, no luck.
"I don't know where they are," Damon was infuriated. "Damn it."
Bonnie undid the spell and the other two were just having a blast at the place when someone went over to Bonnie and started flirting with her. Stefan took Jeremy away from the two and they were talking about how Jeremy was feeling since his transition.
"I feel good," he said nodding. "Good and like I'm on top of the world." He smiled at him and Stefan nodded with a grin on his face.
"If you need any help with anything I'm here to help you."
Elena was laughing as Kai was telling her and Caroline a joke when he stopped and looked around. Elena looked around as well as Caroline but they didn't see anything.
"You okay?" Caroline asked him and he sighed.
"I lost some friends of mine so I'd have to leave you two on your own," he didn't like the idea but he had to go and find his friends. "Stay wary around creepy guys." He waved and as he left, Elena smiled.
"He was nice but kinda creepy," Elena noted. "He also had little to no interest in us so he was nice."
Caroline nodded, a smile.
"I'd have to agree with you."
Bonnie was too busy kissing the guy in the parking lot, her arms around his neck and as he pulled away, she had her eyes closed until she heard his words.
"Take care of the witch." She pushed him away and noticed his eyes, glazed over in compulsion and fear hit her chest. She ran and found Stefan, with his neck snapped.
"Oh god," she whispered. "What happened?"
"Bonnie?" She turned to see Elena and Caroline there, both looking worried. "What happened?"
"I thought this guy wanted me and it turned out he was compelled," she whispered. "I came here and found him like this."
Elena felt ice hit her chest, as did Caroline.
"We search," Caroline told her. "We search this entire carnival."
Every section where the Ferris Wheel stood Elena searched and couldn't find him. She looked everywhere and tried pinging his phone only for it to fail. Tears fell from her eyes as she ran as fast as a human could.
The minute she found Archie he smirked only for Elena to ask him, "have you seen Jeremy?"
He shook his head.
"Why?" She ended up lying.
"It's almost time to go home as Jenna might be worried." He nodded and as she left, she just felt the ice spread faster up her spine.
That icy fear spread wider as Mason grabbed her arm.
"Let me go as I need to find my brother," she snarled and hit him in the chest, breaking her hand. The moment he let her go, she ran.
She was hoping for a miracle.
The moment that Kai found his two 'friends' he smirked.
"So what are we actually doing here?" He asked. One looked at him in his leather jacket and blue jeans.
"Killing Damon Salvatore," he said. "He left me for dead…I want him dead." The other man-a brunette male in a three piece suit without the suit jacket but a vest-looked around in disgust.
"Well my sire came from here around a thousand years ago," he mused. "I want to help him with helping break his brother's curse." He pulled out a pocket watch and then placed it back in his pocket. "I want to know how he is doing anyway."
Kai whistled.
"I just wanted to visit this place when it's full of people," he told them. "I also saved a couple of girls from a lecherous werewolf."
Caroline was searching and she had bumped into Tyler when she pushed him against the nearby tree, her eyes black.
"Where's Jeremy at Lockwood?" She snarled and he glared at her.
"I don't know," he snapped. "The last I saw of him he was running with Bonnie and Stefan away from Damon and I." Caroline let him go and took a step back.
"Where's Damon at?" He shrugged. "Then you get to come with me as we go and find him."
Stefan was struggling to look, as his head was foggy. He kept bumping into people and could barely stand up, his legs shaking under his weight.
The moment he fell down, he closed his eyes and allowed the darkness to swallow him.
Bonnie wasn't having much luck and as she pinged Caroline's phone, she turned to see the blonde there with Tyler Lockwood and on the other side was Elena who was running as though she were being chased by the demons of hell.
"Keep running as I think I lost Mason Lockwood," she panted and Tyler glowered at her. "I just barely escaped."
"You should be thankful that my uncle actually has an interest in you," Tyler said with a growl. "You're really not that useful." Elena glared at him and slapped him.
"You have your dad's manners and they were boorish," she reminded him. "You are absolutely useless and my brother can do so much better than you."
Bonnie and Caroline clapped their hands for her when Mason appeared. Tyler looked at his uncle with a raised eyebrow. Before the two Lockwoods could say anything Bonnie whispered something and they fell forward, asleep.
"We need to find Damon Salvatore," Caroline said with a fire in her eyes. "Do you think that we can ping his cellphone?" Elena pulled out her cellphone and got a friend finding app opened, putting in Damon's number.
The moment it began to ping, they went in that direction.
Jeremy was filled with terror as he was tied up against a tree near the school, his eyes widened as Damon stood in front of him with a feather. He could hear his heart race frantically.
He wanted to say something but he couldn't as Damon had gagged him. He had tied a piece of cloth around his mouth and as Damon sauntered over to him, he held the feather threateningly.
"You don't need to fear me Little Gilbert," Damon's voice was a low purr. "You really don't." He grinned and brushed his lips against the boy's cheek. "Just give in to me." Smirking, he ran the feather down the boy's sides and watched as he squirmed, tears streaming down his face from the laughter. "Just give into me and we can stop this."
Jeremy shook his head and Damon didn't stop until he felt his neck snap.
Elena was panting, as was Bonnie, both leaning against a tree to catch their breaths as their leg muscles were tensing up.
Though Elena jogged a few miles every morning, she never had to physically push anyone out of her way and she never had to jump over fallen branches and tree roots that came out of the ground.
This was different as each time her feet hit the fallen brown leaves, the crinkling sounds could alert Damon more than their scents and their heartbeats definitely would.
Bonnie had never run this much in her life and as she looked around her surroundings, she felt the stitches in her sides with each breath she took.
"Do you want me to carry you both?" Caroline asked.
The two shook their heads and stood up.
"I can go," Elena said and as she looked at Bonnie, the witch nodded. "We both can."
The casual suited man looked at the fallen vampire in disdain. His lips were curled and as he looked at the boy who was tied up and gagged, his fangs nearly came out but he kept himself in control.
His sire, after all, was the vampire who was always in control.
Making his way to the boy, he untied him and took the gag out with a smile. Brushing some of his hair back, he grinned at him.
"I'm a friend little one," his voice was soothing and it made the young boy-a pure vampire warlock hybrid at that-subconsciously melt into his arms as they wrapped around him. "You're safe little precious one." His two associates snorted and as the leather wearing man kicked the fallen vampire in the stomach, he sighed.
"I'm assuming this is the infamous Damon Salvatore?" The other brunette male said as he looked down at him. "A pretty little thing like that boy was his target? Hmmm…maybe I can cut him open?" He flicked his wrist and the fallen vampire was on his back.
"Kai?" The brunette male who was talking about cutting the fallen vampire open looked up and smiled.
"Hello Elena and Caroline," Kai said smiling at them. "What brings you around here?" The brunette girl-Elena-pointed to the boy in the casual suit wearing man's arms. "He does?"
"Little brothers do that a lot," Elena said with a grin as she walked towards him. "Jeremy?" The second the gag was out of his mouth he hugged her. "Oh god! You scared me! I didn't know what happened!"
"I'm fine now 'Lena," he whispered but didn't remove himself from her arms. 'They saved me." Elena looked at them and raised an eyebrow.
"May I ask why?" She drawled and it made the man in a casual suit flinch as it sounded familiar.
"We're being friendly," Kai said. "These are my friends Lorenzo but call him Enzo," the man in a leather jacket nodded, "and the one who was hogging your brother is Tristan." The casual suit wearing man nodded.
The dark skinned girl looked questioningly at them before smirking.
"Why are you really here?" Tristan eyed her speculatively.
"I have a fascination for little towns," Elena snorted at him. "I'm looking for someone. Elijah Mikaelson."
"Never heard of him," Elena said apologetically. "Maybe he hasn't come this way yet." She shrugged and eyed the way they were looking at her brother. "Hey Bonnie? Can you take Jeremy away from here? Care and I need to have some words with these gentlemen."
The minute they were gone Caroline rounded on them.
"What are your intentions?" She snarled and took a menacing step forward. "Just so you know I think of Jeremy as a brother and if you hurt him I'll find a way to end you."
"She won't be alone," Elena snarled just as viciously as her friend. "He's my blood. You hurt him and you would wish it was just her hurting you." Her eyes narrowed and her lips were pulled into a cruel smile. "So do we understand each other boys?"
