Harry Potter looked at the Slytherin Common Room curiously. The last and only time he had been here was in his second year, and they had not had much time to look around then. The room was tastefully decorated in silver and green giving a soothing feeling; yet there was an obvious hierarchy in place. The higher on the hierarchy one was, the closer one sat to the fire.
"Potter!" came the call of the leader, if Harry was right.
"Yes...?" drawled Harry looking every bit the annoyed Pure-Blood heir looking at someone he thought was worthless scum.
"I was saying that you and your mudblood friend Riddle are not welcome here."
Harry paused for a second before he chuckled then laughed. He laughed his amusement at the idea of someone calling 'Lord Voldemort' a 'mudblood'.
Harry was still laughing when the Head of House Severus Snape entered.
"What is going on here?" he asked his voice silky yet threatening.
Harry wiped tears of amusement from his eyes as he spoke, "Perfect whatever his name is called Tom Riddle a mudblood."
Snape seemed to pale at that, "Is that so?"
Harry nodded, "That is what happened professor. I was just about to warn the Perfect about how painful and creative his death was going to be." As he spoke he weaved privacy spells around Snape's magic so that Snape would not be able to tell Albus Dumbledore what happened here.
Snape spoke again his face once again smooth, "Perfect Higgs, you will apologize. Mudblood is not an acceptable term at Hogwarts. Mr. Potter please refrain from making any further... morbid comments."
"Of course Professor." said Harry cheerfully while the Perfect grumbled out an apology.
"If that is all..." he drawled out and then left.
Harry smirked. Well, this was not going to be boring at the very least.
It was a contemplative and very worried Severus Snape that trudged up to the Headmaster's office. He knocked.
"Come in Severus." came the voice of Albus Dumbledore.
"Headmaster." he said inclining his head.
"How are the new arrivals setting in?" asked Albus for once without the usual pleasantries.
Severus Snape opened his mouth to tell the headmaster of the incident when he heard his voice say, "Nothing of note. They seem perfectly normal and seem to be settling in ok."
Severus wanted to gape, rage, or give the Headmaster some hint that, this was not what he was saying. But he found he could not. Severus found that his self-preservation senses were tingling. Perhaps he should stay out of their way?
The next morning Tom Riddle woke up annoyed. It seemed he was not the only one. All the other kids other then Potter were awake drenched in the freezing water that had appeared out of nowhere waking them up. And from the profanities coming from the direction of the rooms of the older years; they were not the only one.
Except Potter, thought Tom, How did Potter get through my wards? What happened to Potter after my death?
The next morning the teachers were treated to a peculiar site. All the students in Hogwarts other then Harry Potter and the Weasley twins looked like they had not slept a wink all night. A few questions revealed that they were woken up at four a.m. when cold water was dumped over their heads. After they managed to dry the water, every time their eyes closed they were drenched again. Except this time the water could not be dried through magic. After that they were colored the colors of one of the Hogwarts house other then their own.
Who could of have done this? was the thought in every teachers head. After all, even the headmaster had not managed to find the charm used. He never noticed the Potter Invisibility Cloak vanish from his office until Christmas.
The next day students were thankful that they were not woken up in the night until they realized that all of those students that depended on Alarms to wake up had overslept. The few that had a good internal clock were the only ones awake. This time this included the teachers. Who knew that all the Professors other then Professor Snape depended on an alarm to wake up.
Albus Dumbledore once again failed to find a reason.
The Sorting hat watched the staff on the second day of Harry Potter's stay at Hogwarts. They had no idea what had hit them. The Dark Lord Potter was once again in Hogwarts.
Will it be once again when the last time was in the future? wondered the hat before he shook his head again at the teachers in pity. It was like Lord Salazar of House Slytherin, Lord and Master of Hogwarts and the surrounding lands had returned to Hogwarts. Historians had managed to mix up most of history, but they were right in regards to Salazar Slytherin. The man truly was evil when he was in the mood to prank someone.
Gellert Grindelwald was amused. He did not know how Harry Potter had managed to achieve what he did, but he was sure it was Harry Potter. He was still thinking about why the other two decided to return to Hogwarts. He was after the elder wand, the younger Dark Lord, Voldemort, was here for whatever was in the third-floor corridor and to kill Albus Dumbledore. He was still not sure about Harry Potter. It was clear he was a Lord of Magic like the Tom Riddle and himself, but he still did not know the youngest Lord's affinity. Yet Lord Gellert of Grindelwald was sure he would manage to find out soon enough.
Five Days later...
Harry Potter sat in the library finally amused after being bored for so long. It had been a lot of fun putting up wards to wake them up early one day then to make all of their alarm spells the next day. He chuckled softly thinking about how he had done at the very least a small prank every day. In a few weeks time Halloween will come, perhaps he should kill the fool Quirrell to honor his parents sacrifice. He could act like he was going to sacrifice Quirrell's soul in a ritual to thank his parents. Harry nearly laughed out loud thinking about the look on Voldemort's face when he did so...
