I do not own The Lost Boys and their characters. I only own my oc, Sana Lawson
"Easy, easy." Sana cooed as she helped David slowly down onto his bed.
David winced in pain as his girlfriend eased him down, his wound in his side not healing as fast as he would like.
Sana grimaced as she helped shed his coats and gloves that were covered in blood; his blood. She leaned over and inspected his wound closely. It was deeper, far deeper than she expected. "Damn hunters." She growled out.
Only an hour ago while the two were out on their date, they were both unexpectedly attacked by hunters. Of course the hunters were only after David, but Sana wasn't about to let her boyfriend die on her watch.
David gritted his teeth as Sana lifted up his black t-shirt, fully showing the wound in all of its bloody glory. His eyes landed on Sana's own wound, "You need to take care of yourself."
Sana paused and rolled her eyes. One of the hunters stabbed her right in the stomach with a steak. It was meant for David, but she jumped in front of him in the nick of time. She pulled up her white button up shirt that was stained with her blood and revealed her wound healing itself. The muscles and organs mending themselves back together much quicker than David's healing process. It hurt, but she's felt worse.
Not only was her shirt covered in blood, but so was her long dark brown skirt and her leather heeled boots. Her chestnut colored skin and her long black hair was stained with the red substance too. Though, changing her outfit or cleaning any part of her body was the least important thing on her mind
"My wounds heal much quicker than yours. You know that. Now shut up and let me take care of you." Sana grumbled out, walking away from him to grab her bag that had some medical supplies in it.
David rolled his eyes at her actions but said nothing. Sana was hard headed just like him. Nothing you could say or do would stop her from doing what she wanted. He watched as she cleaned the area around the wound, being careful to not touch the tattered flesh.
"Why did you do that?" David asked.
Sana continued on, switching out a dirtied gauze with a new clean one, "Isn't it obvious?"
David swallowed, "No."
That's when Sana stopped and looked up at David in disbelief, "Are you serious?"
David shrugged and then winced immediately afterwards. Yeah, not the smartest thing to do, "Why wouldn't I be? You shouldn't have stepped in front of me." The second she got stabbed, when she took a hit for him, it scared him. He knew that she couldn't really die per say, but it still terrified him. How could she been so stupid?
Sana was unamused, "Would you do the same for me?"
"Yes." David answered immediately. Of course he would, but it didn't mean she needed to do the same for him.
"And you would do it cause you care about me, correct?"
"Yes."
Sana pointed at him, "And that's why. Because I care about you, David. It's a two way street. I'm yours and you are mine. And I protect what's mine no matter the amount of harm that comes my way."
She chuckled a little, "Plus, I got to finally shoot a few bullets into those hunters. Been wanting to for a while."
David couldn't say anything. Nor did he as Sana bandage wrapped his wound. He sat on her words, the two have only been together for a couple of months and it never crossed his mind that she cared so much. He always thought that she was still warming up to their relationship. They haven't even said 'I love you' to each other yet. He felt like he was ready to say it, but didn't want to test those waters.
She finished dressing his wound and stood up, "I'm gonna change and since you're in no shape to go hunting and the sun will be up soon, you can feed from me tonight."
She walked away from him, not acknowledging David's face of shock, even if it only lasted a few seconds. Sana bandaged up her own wound, though it'll probably be healed faster than David's but didn't want to get blood on anything else. She also wiped off the blood on her skin and pulled her hair up into a messy bun as she wouldn't be able to wash off the dried up blood until tomorrow.
She wordlessly changed into one of David's bands t-shirts that he barely ever wore, if anything they became Sana's to wear around the cave. She left her underwear on but removed her bra and tossed it aside with her bloodied clothing and shoes.
When she turned to look over at her boyfriend, she smiled a little in amusement as he tried to shift his body to lay comfortably in his pile of pillows and blankets, "You need some help?"
David scoffed, "No." He mumbled out quietly.
Sana raised a brow and didn't take his no seriously, "Yes, you do." She made her way over and helped him get comfortable so that he was leaning up against some pillows.
David didn't really argue with her. He would never admit it but it made him feel a little fuzzy inside when she helped him. He doesn't think he's ever been so gently cared for. It was… nice.
Sana sat on his lap, being careful as to not hurt him, "I'm not hurting you am I?"
David shook his head, "No… you don't need to give me your blood. I can heal just fine without it."
Sana pursed her lips, "You're not a very good liar, David. You're weak, you can barely move without my help and you lost a lot of blood. Your wound isn't gonna be gone in the time that it should if you don't feed."
Sana pulled aside the neck of the t-shirt, it was big enough that most of her neck was available to him, "I'm offering you this because… I love you, David. I know it can be hard for you to let yourself rely on others. You like control, you need it. You don't like looking weak, not even in front of me. But I don't care. You can let go. You can rely on me."
For the first time that she's known David, a single tear fell down his face. He grasped Sana's cheeks and hungrily placed his lips on hers.
Sana did her best to keep up with David, "Dav-David. You're- gonna hurt yourself." Sana's words were swallowed up by David's lips, ignoring her pleas.
His lips moved down, kissing her chin and down her neck, "I love you." He said breathlessly before sinking his teeth into her neck.
Sana gasped, clutching onto his shoulders as he drank greedily from her. She could barely feel the pain, it was almost like a pinch but it still shocked her.
David moaned into her neck, Sana's blood was like a cold glass of water sliding down his throat, quenching a thirst that deeply satisfied him.
His teeth retracted from her neck and he licked up any last little drops of blood as her wound immediately started closing. He made his way back up her neck and before he could kiss her again, Sana cupped his face.
She traced over his sharped features and yellow eyes, admiring how beautiful he looked, "Better?"
David purred, which Sana couldn't help smile at, "Much better." He said, placing his lips back on hers. Sana didn't mind the taste of blood in her mouth, she's tasted it before and it never ruined their kisses.
Sana hummed as David shifted, moving her to lay on her side next to him. She was placed a little bit higher than David, making him crane his neck up a little bit to continue kissing her. Her fingers entangled them into the base of his hair, scratching at the roots lightly.
Sana caressed David's features when they pulled away from the kiss and she thought she melted a little on the inside from how soft David was looking at her.
David rubbed the skin underneath Sana's shirt as he held her, "What are they gonna do with the bodies?"
Sana continued touching David, "My chief will probably have them discreetly disposed of. Tell the presses that it was some sort of mugging and a case of self defense. He doesn't want me coming in for the next few days. Take time to lay low, I guess."
David smiled, his features turning back to normal, "Lay low, huh?"
Sana rolled her eyes with a smile, "Yes, meaning I will spend the next few days with you. I will be all yours."
"Good." David pulled her down, pulling her into another kiss. Sana let out muffled giggles as David seemingly was getting some of his strength back and pulling their bodies close together.
Oh, and what wonderful few days those were.
