I'm Yours

"Come on, stay out with us." Edie Franco begged her best friend who shook her head no.

She was already backing herself up towards her boyfriend who was waiting by the elevator banks.

"We didn't really fly all this way so you could hole yourself up in your hotel room and fuck all break."

Reggie looked over her shoulder at her boyfriend then at her best friend before she grinned, she kissed her cheek, "Get yourself man and you will understand."

'I could've had yours."

The younger woman laughed as she walked backwards, "You couldn't handle him." She teased. Roman grabbed a hold of her waist and pressed a kiss to her cheek.

"Remind me again, why did she have to come with us?" he asked lowly before turning them around.

"Because she would've followed us anyways." she answered, "She will get shit faced drunk and forget all about us and what we are doing."

Roman nodded his head, this was his last spring break and he wanted to remember it forever and his girlfriend's man-hungry best friend could ruin it.

"I'll make it up to you." she whispered as they stepped onto the elevator.

"you better." He grumbled. Reggie pushed him against the wall and kissed him, she was a Lawler and Lawlers always made good on their word.

The next morning.

Reggie rolled away from her boyfriend to answer her vibrating cell phone in the early morning, "You better be arrested or in the ER Edie."

Roman groaned and sat up rubbing his eyes, they had their own up all night party and fell asleep sometime before dawn.

He propped himself up on his elbow and started tracing his fingers down her spine.

Feeling his soft touch she relaxed on the bed, her auburn hair sliding over her shoulders as she turned her head to look at him.

"Yeah, I will see you in awhile at the pool.'' she said before hanging up the phone and looking at him, "Morning.'

"Morning.' he returned, "So pool today?"

"And whatever you want to do." He nodded his head, he had woken up hours after they fell asleep and just watched her sleep, an idea had floated around in his head and he had to get her to agree to it. "Other than marrying you there is nothing else I would want to do today.'

She pushed herself up on her elbows looking at him with a bright smile on her face, "Okay."

"Seriously?"

"Yes you goof. There is nothing in this world that I would want more than to be your wife."

He grasped her chin and kissed her deeply, "Let's go now before we go to the pool.'

She nodded her head in agreement. This was crazy on their part and she knew it, they were young and according to her stepfather didn't know anything about love. But she knew deep down that he was the one that she wanted to be with him for the rest of her life.

"Reg come on!" Roman called an hour later, annoyed with his girlfriend who had holed herself up in the bathroom to get ready for their wedding.

"Sorry." she said, opening the door and stepping out of the bathroom wearing a white sundress and sandals.

"For a second I thought you were changing your mind and was scared to come out."

"Never." she said stepping up to him.

He nodded his head, kissing her lips softly, "Lets go Mrs. Anoai.'

"I'm going to like being called that." she grinned.

"I'm going to like calling you that."

He took her by her hand and started leading her towards the door. "Hold on." she said, stopping their stride. She pulled her phone out of her purse and put it in her suitcase. "No distractions for today."

"Regina! Where the hell have you been?" Edie asked seeing her best friend and her boyfriend coming into the pool area a couple of hours later.

"We have been around." Reggie grinned, shrugging her shoulders, her green eyes shining brightly.

"What did you do?" She asked, looking between the two.

She was trying to get a feel for them but either one of them was giving anything away.

Roman laughed under his breath before he slapped his wife's ass and walked over to the bar where his buddies were at.

"Seriously Reg, where were you guys? We stopped by your room and you weren't there."

"We were around." She shrugged before kissing her cheek and going over to the bar where Roman and his friends were at.

'Reg." Edie followed her and paused seeing Roman pull her to him and kiss the side of her head. A thick silver band shone on his left ring finger.

"Oh my god! You got married!" she shouted going over to them and grabbing Reggie's left hand.

"Hey! I kind of need that hand." Reggie protested with a yelp.

"Easy Edie." Roman said, his deep voice rumbling.

Edie studied her ring and then removed her friend's husband's hand from its resting place and smiled. "Congratulations." she said before kissing her cheek and then Roman's.

"Hey bartender! Line some shots up! We have a marriage to celebrate!"
