Chapter Four: Leaving For Jurassic World
Soon, the holidays rolled around and all who were going had received the proper paperwork and airplane tickets in the mail. There hadn't been any incident's revolving around super villains or anything since during the wait. At the airport, many of the departing's friends and family stood in the lobby of the airport. While Gabriel, Adrien and his bodyguard stood in line to go, everyone else were talking to friends and family. Marinette stood with her parents as Sabine said, "Do be safe, Marinette."
"I will, Mom." Marinette said as she hugged her parents. Tom then asked, "Do be sure to take lots of pictures so we can see your adventures."
"Okay, Dad." Marinette laughed before letting them go. She looked to see Alya, Nino and their other friends saying goodbye to their families as well. They all looked when they heard Mr. Damocles say, "All right, children, it's time to go."
He stood at the gate with a duffle bag ready. Everyone else collected their things before following after Mr. Damocles to get on the plane. Before she followed after them, Marinette looked back to her parents before giving one last wave. They returned it with a wave of their own. Marinette was brought out of her thoughts when she heard an older voice say to her, "Ma'am, you need to keep up with your group."
Marinette looked to see Master Fu dressed in a flight attendant's uniform standing before her. She was a little startled and her eyes darted left to right to make sure that no one was recognizing him. When she calmed down enough, Marinette leaned down and asked, "What are you doing here?"
"Ever since my last visit to the island, I've had my suspicions that something could happen." Master Fu explained to her. Marinette knew that he had a point and he assured her, "I just want to come along to make sure that nothing happens to you."
"Wait, I just remembered, what about Cat Noir." Marinette had said in a whispering voice. Master Fu smiled and asked, "Remember what I told you the other day?"
"Mmhmm." Marinette nodded as she did remember. His smile didn't falter when he said, "Then you don't have to worry. And I've given Cat Noir the same advice about the power ups."
"Wait, he might not be in Paris either?" Marinette asked, a little curious. Master Fu then reminded, "Cat Noir has a life outside of being a super hero as well you know."
"True." She agreed as they walked to catch up to the rest of the class.
The class had to wait a little while to get on the plane, but when they did, they found their seats rather quickly. As they waited for the plane to take off, Marinette looked to Alya and asked, "This is going to be the best trip ever."
"You know it, girl." Alya said with a laugh. Marinette looked over to where Adrien was sitting and asked her, "Do you think I should try to tell-"
"Adrien about how you feel about him?" Alya finished the question with a smile. Marinette looked to her and her best friend said, "It wouldn't hurt to try it. After all, you'll be in a different setting. You could try it, but remember to at least try to be yourself."
"I will." Marinette said with a confident grin. She sat back down and they waited for the plane to take off. From a few seats ahead, Lila had heard just about it all and scowled at the thought of Marinette and Adrien together.

Elsewhere in the world, a bird was hopping around in the snow in front a two-story house in Maine. The bird chirped as it hopped around before flying off. It flew by a car as a woman was carrying a bag and placed it in the back. She looked about to see that there wasn't anyone out there with her. The woman called out to her sons, "Boys, come on! Let's do this!"
Inside one of the rooms on the second floor, a young boy was looking through one of those old children's toys of a pair of binoculars that showed pictures with a flick of a switch. He was wearing a blue jacket, plaid shirt and some blue jeans and had brown hair on his head. He didn't put the toy down when he heard a knock on his door and the woman said, "Gray?"
She came into the room to see that Gray didn't seem ready. With a sigh she walked over to him and walked over to him, "Honey, what are you doing?
"What is this? Here." She said and gently took the toy from him. She set it down on his desk and said, "Come on. Let's go." She rubbed his shoulder when she urged, "Come on, honey. Your flight leaves in two hours."
"The Dane County Airport is thirty-six minutes away, up to sixty with traffic." Gray said when he turned his chair to her. His mother looked to him with a smile and asked, "How many minutes does it take to get your little butt in the van? Hmm?
"How many of those?" She asked and it made Gray smile. He got up and they both walked to the door. His mother ruffled his hair and asked him, "Did you feed the monster under your bed?"
"Yes, ma'am." Gray said as they walked out the door. She closed the door behind them and they made their way out of the house. Both Gray and his mother left the house and walked by a teenage boy standing with a teenage girl. The older boy was wearing a grey winter coat and blue jeans while she was wearing a black coat, a pair of blue jeans and a pink beanie on her head. They were currently hugging each other goodbye and she made him promise, "Please, call me every day, and text me some pictures so I don't forget what you look like."
"I'm only gonna be gone a week." The older boy, Zach reminded her. They both looked when an older voice said, "Zach."
A man in a black winter coat was sitting in the driver's seat. He was starting to feel a little impatient when he told his son to wrap it up, "You're not going off to war here." With a wave of his hand, "Please.
"Come on." He said as Zach and his girlfriend looked to each other again. Zach started to say, "I will-"
"I love you." She said, slightly catching him off guard. He finished his sentence by saying, "See you later."
"Vamonos, amigo." His father called to him before starting the car. Zach and his girlfriend said at the same time, "Bye."
They let each other go and Zach quickly ran to get into the car before it left without him. His mother called to him, "Are you in, buddy?"
Zach was able to slip in through the other side of the car and closed it behind him. He looked out the window to see his girlfriend waving to him. When she had closed the door, Zach's parents looked to him and his mother, Karen, seemed to sympathize with him by saying, "I know it hurts, sweetheart."
"Are you gonna be okay, pal?" Zach's dad, Scott, lightly teased. Zach just rolled his eyes before placing his headphones over his ears. Gray lightly smiled as they started to pull out of the driveway. Though neither of them said anything, both boys knew that this was going to be a fun weekend.

They soon came to the Maine airport and stood in the lobby. Lots of people were moving about as they were either getting on a flight or getting off. Karen showed some paper work to him and asked, "Everything right on there?"
Gray looked it over before nodding to confirm. His mom gave a smile when she said, "I'm so jealous. The two of you are gonna have so much fun while you're gone." Karen pulled Gray into a hug when she added, "I love you."
"I love you, too." Gray said when he returned the hug. Though he didn't see it, his mother was wishing that she didn't have to let him go. Gray smiled to his dad and he offered one back. When they let each other go, Karen took the papers from Gray and suggested, "All right, um, let's just give these to your brother. Okay?
"Will you hold these, please?" She said to her oldest son. But he didn't seem to be listening as she nudged him with the papers. He looked to her and removed his headphones and she asked, "Can you please hold these? Please take care of them."
"Zach." He heard his father say while taking the papers. He looked to Scott as his father said, "Listen to your mother, Zach."
"Take care of your brother. And answer your phone." Karen instructed him. Then she looked and sounded serious when she said, "I'm really serious. It's the green button. When you see my name on it, you push it. Okay"
"Yeah." Zach nodded as he understood. Their mother was mostly joking when she said, "And remember, if something starts chasing you… Run."
Though they didn't think it was funny, the two laughed to humor their mother. Zach nodded, "You're funny." Placing a hand on Gray's shoulder he said, "Okay, let's get going. Come on."
"Bye, you guys. I miss you already." Karen waved goodbye to them. Both Zach and Gray waved back to them, "Bye."
"Bye." Their father waved with a smile. The two walked off to get into line to board their plane. As they watched them go, Scott said to her, "So much for our last family breakfast, huh."
That made her smile drop and didn't look back when she asked, "Why do you have to say such things like that?"
She smiled again when she saw Gray waving to her. Scott then asked, "Did you try to call your sister?"
"Straight to voice mail. Again." Karen sighed when she couldn't get ahold of her sibling. They saw their sons looking through the papers for a moment at the gate. Scott didn't sound worried when he said, "It'll be fine. She handles up to twenty thousand people a day, right?
"She can handle a couple more of them." His words hardly comforted her as they watched them both disappear through the gate.

On the plane from France, Adrien rose from his seat to head to the bathroom. Gabriel watched him leave before returning his focus to a magazine in his hands. When he went to the spot where the bathroom was located, Adrien was stopped when he heard someone say to him, "Are you enjoying the flight, sir?"
Glancing behind him, he became as surprised as Marinette had been when he recognized Master Fu. Looking about he said, "What are you doing here, Ma-"
"Ah, ah." Master Fu wagged his finger. Then he said, "I am your humble flight attendant, good sir."
"Okay." Adrien said, still not really understanding what was going on. Master Fu looked about before saying, "It's okay, Adrien. I know what I am doing. And in case there were to be trouble in back in Paris, use the red Camembert."
"If you say so." Adrien shrugged and Master Fu walked off. Adrien opened his shirt a little and looked down to Plagg. The Kwami of Destruction could only shrug as he didn't understand it either.

The plane from France had landed at the Juan Santamaria Airport. Soon after, the plane from Maine had landed as well. When everyone had disembarked from the plane, they started to make their way to a bus waiting for them outside the airport. They could see up to three buses that were all heading for the docks. As they boarded one bus, Zach and Gray boarded another bus. But when he was about to follow his little brother in, Zach caught a glimpse of Chloe as she was struggling with her luggage. He started to stare when he heard Gray call out, "Zach, come on!"
With a sigh he boarded the bus with his brother. On the other bus, while Marinette and Alya took one seat, Adrien and Nino took another. Then behind them was Max and Kim, Rose and Juleka, Ivan and Mylene and then finally Alix and Lila. Chloe sighed as she took a seat next to Mr. Damocles. Gabriel and Adrien's bodyguard took a seat on the other side of the principal and Ms. Bourgeois. They didn't have to wait for very long as the buses soon pulled away from the airport.
They soon reached the loading docks and saw a ferry that went straight to the park. Everyone grabbed a hold of their luggage before making their way off the bus. All the groups soon converged with each other as they waited their turn in line. The François Dupont students and their chaperones made up the middle with Zach and Gray standing behind them. Zach tapped Alix's shoulder and she turned to him. Then he pointed to Chloe and asked, "What's her deal?"
"You don't want to anything to do with her." Alix shook her head, "Trust me."
"Hey, where are you guys from?" Gray asked her. Marinette and the other girls of their group looked to see her talking with the brothers. Alya then asked the skater of the group, "Who are your new friends, Alix?"
"Uh, I'm Gray." Gray waved to them. He gestured to his brother and said, "This is my older brother, Zach."
"It's nice to meet you guys." Adrien said as he walked over with Nino, Kim, Ivan and Max. Zach seemed to recognize him and said, "Hey, aren't you Adr-"
"Uh, could you not do that." Nino advised. Looking about the place he said, "My best bud is lucky enough no to be getting mobbed right now. So if you could keep it on the down low."
"Say no more." Gray nodded. Pointing to Adrien he said, "Well, we know who you are but we won't say anything."
"Much appreciated." Adrien nodded his thanks. Marinette then introduced and said, "My name's Marinette Dupen-Cheng."
"Alya Cesaire." The soon-to-be reporter of Paris waved with a smile. Nino wrapped an arm around his girlfriend and best bud when he said, "I'm Nino Lahiffe."
"I'm Rose Lavillant." Rose waved to them. Juleka muttered her name, "Juleka Couffaine."
"Huh?" Both brothers asked as they were a little confused about why she was so quiet. Rose giggled and she said, "Her name is Juleka Couffaine."
"Oh." Zach and Gray nodded as they understood. The most muscled of the group introduced himself, "I'm Ivan Bruel and this special girl is Mylene."
"Mylene Haprele." She lightly corrected and hugged Ivan's side. The athlete of the group pointed to himself and said, "Name's Le Chien Kim. But you can call me Kim."
"Okay." Gray shrugged and seemed cool with it. The brainiac of the group introduced himself, "Greetings, I am Max Kante."
"We're from François Dupont College in Paris." Adrien explained to them. Gray became surprised and asked, "Wait, as in Paris, home of Ladybug, Cat Noir and the other awesome Miraculous Heroes."
"That's right." Chloe said when she suddenly pushed herself between Max and Kim. Pointing to herself she said, "And you are looking at Chloe Bourgeois, the one and only Queen Bee."
"Oh, yeah, I've heard about you." Zach said when he recognized her. But Chloe waved her hand when she said, "And I happened to catch you staring at me earlier. Talk about creepy, utterly creepy."
"Uh…" Zach said, trying to think of something. Gray snickered from the trouble that his brother had put himself in. Gray then decided to save his brother and asked, "So, what's a superheroine and her friends doing here?"
"Oh, we're not all friends." Chloe shook her head. She suddenly jumped and wrapped her arms around Adrien when she proudly said, "Except for me and Adrikins here."
"Adrikins?" Zach smiled and gave the teen model a questioning look. Adrien sighed and said, "It's something that Chloe's been calling me since we were little."
"Uh, okay." Zach shrugged as he decided to go with it. Marinette then said, "And we're here because our class won a free trip to the park."
"Cool." Gray said in astonishment. Looking to Alya he asked, "I've read your Lady-blog and it's so fascinating."
"Why thank you." Alya said with a big grin. Then she said, "I do have a few other blogs too if you're interested."
"I'll have to take a look at that." Gray nodded. Kim then asked, "So, what's the story with you guys?"
"Oh, our aunt works at Jurassic World, actually." Zach said, somewhat impressed by it. Then he added, "We kind of got a free trip too since she's the manager."
"Ooh, that's so cool." Rose said. Zach then said, "Maybe we'll see each other a great deal during the trip."
"Yeah, maybe." Marinette said. They were brought out of their thoughts when they heard Mr. Damocles call out to them, "This way, children."
That's when they noticed that the line was starting to move. Zach and Gray were walking behind the François Dupont College students as they started walking up a ramp.
"So, how big is the island?" Gray asked his brother. Not wanting to have to think too much about it, Zach only said, "Big."
"But how many pounds?" Gray followed up. While Max, who was in front of the two chuckled, Zach shook his head when he said, "That doesn't make any sense."
"I actually concur with that." Max agreed as they boarded the ferry to Isla Nublar.
It didn't take long for the ferry to cast off once all the passengers were on board. When they took off, Chloe went off to try and enjoy the sun. Lila stood with Mr. Damocles at another section of the boat.
While the Gorilla was doing his best to keep from getting seasick, Adrien stood with his father on the side. Both Agreste men had a hand against the railing and Adrien said, "I want to thank you for letting us both come on the trip."
"I think we both needed some time away from all the chaos in Paris." Gabriel said as he glanced to his son. Adrien's smile fell when he said, "It's too bad Nathalie couldn't come with us."
"She didn't want to do anything to strenuous." Gabriel said, covering for her. He gave a smile when he offered, "Should we ever decide to come back and she's feeling much better, we'll be sure to bring her along."
"I think she'd like that." Adrien agreed and looked back out to the ocean. Up at the front of the boat, Zach and Gray were with the majority of the French students at the bow of the ferry. Taking out her phone, Alya asked Gray, "Don't suppose you could help me start a new blog about Jurassic World, could ya?"
"Sure. What do you want to know?" Gray nodded, finding it a cool topic. Alya hit the record button and told him, "Just tell me all that you know about the park so far."
"Well, when they first opened, they started off with eight different species of dinosaurs." Gray said as he started to remember. Then he seemed excited about it when he said, "Now they have fourteen herbivores and six carnivores.
"That's like fifty tons of food a week." Gray said while Max ran some numbers. The teen genius was surprised when Gray seemed right and confirmed it, "Very astute, young Gray."
"Thanks." Gray nodded before glancing to his brother. But he saw his sibling looking down at a few girls on the lower deck. Gray only shook his head and the French students happened to notice too. Deciding to help him take his mind off of it, Alya asked, "Got any other interesting tips about the park?"
"Well, the way that they do things with the dinosaurs are much different than how it would have been at the original park." Gray said as Alya kept filming the interview.
Marinette glanced over to where Adrien and his father were standing before spotting Master Fu in a new disguise standing by a few other guests. She would have talked to him, but felt that it be best to keep it a low profile. Marinette turned her gaze to keep a look out for the island of Isla Nublar.

Author's Note: And I'm gonna end it here. In the next chapter, not only does the group and the brother's get to the island, but I have a bit of a Adrinette gag going to happen. Also, we see some more familiar faces in the chapter. I look forward to reading your reviews. Be sure to leave a comment either about if I've done something wrong or if you want something specifically to happen. See you next time.
