A/N: After much debating with myself on the subject, I only find it necessary to have a member of the park come rescue Adrien and Marinette when they get themselves into trouble.

Chapter Five: Welcome to Jurassic World
After about two hours of ocean travel, the island finally came into view. Marinette pointed, "Hey, I see Isla Nublar, you guys!"
"Woah!" Gray and the other French students said when they looked to where she was pointing. They could see the mountains of the island getting bigger as they were getting closer. Nino whipped out his phone and texted Adrien.
From where they were standing, Adrien's phone went off and he took it out of his pocket. He became surprised when he said, "Nino says that we're about to arrive."
"That's good." Gabriel nodded. Glancing back to Adrien's bodyguard he said, "I doubt that he'd be able to stand anymore time on the sea."
"That's for sure." Adrien agreed when he looked back to the Gorilla. The large man was taking deep breaths to try and calm himself.
It wasn't too much longer as the boat had made it to the docks of the island. Everyone slowly made their way off the ferry. They could hear a woman's voice repeatedly say, "Welcome to Isla Nublar, home of Jurassic World. We hope that you have a safe and enjoyable stay with us."
It then switched to a man speaking Spanish with the same message. While the French students had gone on ahead to board the monorail, Zach and Gray slowed down to look for their aunt. Their mother had told them that she would be waiting for them, but they couldn't see her. As he looked about, Gray asked, "Where's Aunt Claire?"
They then noticed a woman wearing a grey and white outfit while a brown bag was slung over her shoulder and a pair of shades were over her eyes. In her hands she held a sign that had their names on it. Seeing no alternative, the brothers walked up to the woman. She introduced herself, "My name is Zara and your aunt has sent me to pick you up.
"If you'll follow me." With that she turned to lead them to the monorail.
Up ahead, Marinette and her friends all looked up an escalator to where the monorail was as one took off. Though they had to wait a while, Zach, Gray and the French students were able to board the monorail in the same car. Zach, Chloe, Lila, Gabriel, Adrien's bodyguard and Mr. Damocles all remained in a seat as it moved. Just about everyone was standing up and holding onto something to keep them from falling. Gray tried to get his brother excited when he nudged Zach, but Zach just continued to listen to his headphones. He and the other French students looked up when they heard a man's voice on the PA tell them, "Okay. For those of you in the front of the train, you should be able to see our main gates."
Gray, Marinette, Adrien and Alya were the ones to get up and make their way to the front of the train. Gabriel wanted to say something to Adrien to make him stay back, but decided against it. The four were able to make their way to front as the man said, "The gates were refurbished from the wood of the gates of the original park from over twenty years ago."
Everyone was wowed when they saw the colossal wooden gates coming up. Hanging over the gates was a sign that spelled out Jurassic World in capitalized blue letters. Six flames on the sides were lit up. The doors opened up as the train came up and went through when they were wide open. They didn't have to wait much longer when the monorail pulled up to another station. They could see lots of people milling about the place when they came to a stop. All the passengers were able to disembark and Gray ran ahead of his brother and their escort. Alya looked to Marinette and slightly joked, "Seems like someone can't seem to wait."
Marinette laughed a little as they continued walking. Gray stopped for a moment to admire the sights around him before going off again. The two with the boy were approaching another escalator when Zara said, "Your aunt has arranged a meeting with the two of you around one o'clock." She saw Gray starting to get away from them ad asked, "Can he slow down?"
"Nope." Zach simply said as they continued walking through the lobby. Gray had managed to beat them to the escalator and waved at them to hurry up, "Come on!"
The brothers and the French students were soon shown to a hotel. While Gray and Zach were given their own rooms, the French students split up of boys and girls respectively. There were a few rooms that would house two occupants and two beds for the individuals in each room. Marinette decided to bunk with Alya, Adrien with Nino, Mylene with Alix, Kim with Max, Rose with Juleka, Chloe with Lila, Ivan with Mr. Damocles and Gabriel and Adrien's bodyguard took the last one. In Zach and Gray's room, Zara let them in and glanced back when she told them, "Your aunt's got you VIP access, so you won't have to wait in the lines for the rides."
"Let's go." Gray impatiently said as he ran to one of the beds and threw his backpack down beside it. Zach set his down by another bed and shook his head, "Dude, she said that we had to wait."
"I don't wanna wait anymore." Gray eagerly replied as he ran to the sliding doors that led to the balcony. Zach sighed as he just flopped backwards onto his bed while Zara stood at a table going over some things. Gray opened up the doors to look out into the park that is Jurassic World.
Below them there was a water park and behind it was a lagoon with a large fence running through it. From the balcony he could see the multiple monorails running through the park and on the other side of the lagoon looked kind of like a small town. And at the back of it was a pyramid shaped building which he knew was the Innovation Center. Gray was brought out of his sight seeing when he heard a familiar voice calling out to him, "Hey, Gray!"
Looking to his left he could see both Adrien and Nino standing on the balcony next to his and Zach's. With a smile the younger boy asked, "Dude, isn't this place awesome?!"
"It is a sweet view, little man." Nino agreed with a thumbs up. Adrien then asked, "Whatcha up to, buddy?"
"Me and Zach are going to meet with our aunt at one." Gray told them. Nino quickly suggested, "Why don't we go exploring for a bit until then."
"That's a great idea." Gray agreed before slipping back inside his room. Nino whipped out his phone and started texting the others. Adrien looked to him and said, "I'll go and ask my father if it will be okay to walk around for a bit."
"Okay, I'm just letting the others know." Nino said before moving into the room and sitting down on the bed. Adrien walked out of the room to head to his father's room.

In another room, Marinette and Alya were placing their bags by their beds when both of them got a message on their phones. Both girls took out their phone and looked to see what it was. Looking to her best friend Alya asked, "Feel like taking a stroll through the park?"
"I guess we can go see a few sights." Marinette shrugged and the two walked out of the room.

In Gabriel's room, he got a message on his phone as well. But when he looked, he was surprised to find that it had come from Simon Masrani. Opening it he read the message that he wanted to show him something and to meet with the park manager after her meeting. Deciding to humor his friend, Gabriel thought about going to tell Adrien that he would be out of the room for a while. His head snapped up when he could feel a few negative emotions from the park attendants. But then he was quickly brought out of his thoughts when he heard a knock on his door. Walking over, he opened it to find Adrien standing there. Gabriel was a little surprised, but put it off and asked, "Adrien, I was just about to come and talk to you."
"Oh. I was doing the same." Adrien said and rubbed the back of his head. Adrien then asked, "Uh, our new friends Zach and Gray are going for a walk through the park before they meet with their aunt. Would you want to join us?"
"Hmm." Gabriel said as he thought about it. He knew that it would make meeting with Simon a little easier, so he believed it to be a good idea. With a nod he said, "Very well. We can go for a walk. But Simon wishes to show me something, and I was going to ask if you wished to tag along as well."
"Of course." Adrien nodded, wanting to do something with his father. Looking to Adrien's bodyguard he said, "Let us be off."
The Gorilla nodded before rising from a chair and following them out.

Across the lagoon and behind the Innovation Center, there was another building. It had been intentionally placed on the hill as if to be able to keep watch over the whole park. In an elevator coming down, a woman in all white was talking to herself, "Hal Osterly, is the vice president. Jim Drucker, has some bad hair. And Erica Brand, who deserves much better.
"Hal, Jim, Erica. Hal, Jim, Erica." She repeated before raising her watch, "And I am Claire.
"And I am three minutes late." Clair said with a sigh as the elevator dinged when it reached the floor. Taking a deep breath, she put on a smile as the doors slid open. When she saw whom she was meeting with, Clair greeted, "Welcome to Jurassic World."
With a motion for them to follow her, Clair led them through the facility. They came across some tourists as they were watching some scientists. The scientists were extracting DNA from some samples. As they were walking, Claire began the interview, "While going year over year, the park's revenue continues to climb, the operating costs are higher than ever. Our shareholders have been graciously patient with us, but let's be honest with ourselves…
"No one is really impressed by a dinosaur anymore." She said, feeling like it was true. She continued by saying, "Twenty years ago with the previous park, de-extinction was right up there with magic. But now, these days, kids tend to look at a Stegosaurus like an elephant from the city zoo.
"But that doesn't mean asset development group is falling behind." Claire said as they entered another room. The three looked about as the scientists worked and she said, "Our DNA excavators discover may new species every year. But our consumers want them much bigger, more louder and a lot more teeth."
The three looked to each other as they felt that it was true. Claire the informed, "Our advances in gene splicing have opened up a whole new frontier for us."
They walked over to a wall that held a few screens with schematics for a new attraction. Claire led them over as she somewhat smugly said, "We have learned a lot more from genetics in the past decade than a century of digging up bones.
"So," She said when she stopped by the screen in the middle. Turning to them she asked, "when you all say that you want to sponsor an attraction, what do you have in mind?"
Hal, Jim and Erica looked to each other and they all looked as if they were having the same idea. The man with the balding head turned back to Claire and said what they were all thinking, "We want to be thrilled."
"Don't we all." Claire nodded in agreement. Turning to the screen she swiped it to make a model of DNA spin before she introduced, "The Indominus Rex. Our very first genetically modified hybrid."
While Erica and Hal were surprised by this, Jim was confused about it. He asked, "Uh, how exactly did you get two different kinds of dinosaurs to…"
"Oh, the Indominus wasn't bred." A voice from behind said. The three investors looked to see Henry Wu proudly walk up to them. He clarified how she came into being by saying, "She was designed." He was proud when he revealed the specs about her, "She will be fifty feet long when fully grown. She'll be bigger than the T-Rex."
"And every time that we've unveiled a new asset, our attendance has spiked. Global news coverage, celebrity visitors to the park. The eyes of the world." Clair said, making the investors really interested. Seeming very interested, Hal looked to her and asked, "When will she be ready?"
Claire and Henry looked to each other and she nodded to him. Wu's smile didn't falter when he said, "She already is."
"We'll do it." Hal agreed, making both Claire and Henry smile to this. A security guard walked over to show the investor's out. Wu looked to Claire with the same smile before moving to get back to work. Claire herself gave a happy sigh when her phone suddenly went off. Taking it out she saw that she got a message from her boss Simon Masrani. She opened it to view the contents.

The French students, Gabriel Agreste, Zara and the brother were walking about through Main Street. Mr. Damocles had told them to go on as he was taking in the peace and quiet of the hotel. Even Chloe had chosen to remain behind for a bit and said that she would explore the park later. As they were passing by one of the restaurants, Alya turned her head and saw something. She quickly texted Nino about her plan before saying to Marinette, "Hey, look. A Gyrosphere."
"Huh?" Marinette said before looking to where her friend was pointing. They saw a large two-manned sphere made of glass sitting before a truck. Nudging Marinette's arm she said, "I dare you to sit in it."
"Why don't you sit in it?" Marinette asked back. Alya shrugged and said, "Fine, girl. If you're too scared then that's totally understandable."
"Wha- I'm not scared of a Gyrosphere." Marinette gave her annoyed look. Then deciding to prove Alya wrong, Marinette walked over to the Gyrosphere in a comical looking way. Alya looked to Nino and nodded to have him to get Adrien in the oversized hamster ball. Nino looked to Adrien and said, "Hey, you mind getting in the Gyrosphere, dude. I want to take a picture."
"I guess even Marinette wouldn't say no to a picture." Adrien shrugged. Nino nodded and patted Adrien on the back, "Too true, my dude."
From the back of the group, Lila's eyes started to narrow as she was starting to understand what they were doing. Adrien started walking over to the Gyrosphere as Marinette entered from one side and Adrien got in from the other. It didn't take Marinette but a split second to realize who was in the ride with her. She slowly turned her head to him. Then as usual, Marinette starts to wig out by flailing her arms a little and babbling, "Wah! Adri-"
"It's kind of comfy in here." Adrien observed as he looked about the sphere. Marinette was able to calm herself and agreed, "Yes it is very cozy, I mean comfy in here."
"Uh, what's going on?" Zach said as he and Gray walked back to them. Alya smiled when she said, "Well, Marinette has had a crush on Adrien for a good while, but just about every time that she's tried to tell him, it's been-"
"Blah-blah-blah-blah." All of Marinette's girl friends said while making a goofy looking face. Gray quirked a brow and asked, "She's that bad?"
"Oh, she's been a lot worse." Alix commented with a shake of her head and they all started laughing. Mylene laughed when she said, "She once turned down a ride back home and was going to take a coleslaw home."
Both brother's snickered from that and had to try hard to control themselves. Gray looked to the two in the Gyrosphere and asked, "So, what exactly was the plan?"
"Mostly to get them into the Gyrosphere." Alya said with a shrug. Zach then asked, "And then what?"
That's when Alya and Nino and the others knew that they had slipped up a bit. With a shrug she said, "Okay, so maybe it was a bit of a poor plan." She took out her phone and said, "But we can still take a few pics."
"Well, we're gonna go on ahead." Zach said when he saw Zara starting to walk ahead of them. The brothers walked after her and Gray waved, "See ya, guys."
From her spot at the back of the group, a somewhat annoyed Lila looked about before seeing a security guard for the park. With a smirk at the two in the Gyrosphere, Lila walked up to the guard. Putting on a worried face, she tapped her on the shoulder. The security guard turned to her and Lila clasped her hands together when she said, "Ma'am, I'm sorry to bother you, but I'm a little worried that my friends might hurt themselves in that Gyrosphere."
She pointed to Marinette and Adrien in the Gyrosphere as Alya and Nino moved closer to take a picture. It seemed to convince the security guard as she said, "That Gyrosphere is supposed to be off limits anyway. There's been malfunctions with it."
She walked over to do her job while Lila had a sly grin on her face. Marinette thought about telling Adrien how she felt when all four friends were surprised when they heard a voice say, "Hey, you two can't be in there!"
They looked to see the security guard walking up to them and she said, "You need to get out of that Gyrosphere."
"Why? Is the Gyrosphere broken?" Alya asked in confusion. The security guard nodded to confirm it. But Nino raised a good question by asking, "But shouldn't there be a sign or something?"
That made the guard's eyes widen before blinking a few times. She facepalmed and said, "That idiot's gonna cost himself a job one of these days.
"Never the less…" The guard said as she shook her head, "You do need to get out of the Gyrosphere right now."
"Sorry." All four friends said as they moved to get away from the out-of-order vehicle. But Marinette accidentally slipped and seemed to hit a button on the console. Everyone became worried as the doors to the Gyrosphere suddenly closed up. Both Marinette and Adrien beat on the glass to try and get them to open.
"Adrien/Marinette!" Gabriel and their friends shouted together. Alya looked to the security guard and asked, "How do we get them out?"
"We'd have to reboot the system. But the tech guys won't be back for a little while." The security guard shook her head. Kim and Alix pushed Max forward and Kim said, "We have a techie right here."
"Yeah, he's really good with computers." Alix agreed. The security guard was unsure about it, "I don't know what my superiors would say about this."
"We'll tell them that it was our doing, promise." Nino said as he placed his left hand over his heart while raising his right. The security guard sighed before saying, "Very well. Give me a moment to get you a mini-computer for you to get into the Gyrosphere's system. She walked off to hurry and get what they needed to free their friends.
"Well, it looks like we're going to be in here for a little bit." Adrien said as they sat back down in the Gyrosphere. Moving over to where she was on Marinette's side of the ball, Alya subtly pointed to Adrien and mouthed for her to tell him. Marinette seemed a little scared and nervous as she looked to Alya before glancing over to Adrien. When she looked past him, she could see his worried father and their equally worried friends before noticing Lila in the background. She saw that the girl had a sly smile on her face and Marinette deduced that she had something to do with the security guard. But deciding to focus on something other than Lila at the moment, she decided to take Alya's advice.
"Adrien." Marinette said to get his attention. He turned to her and said, "Yeah?"
"There's, uh, something that-" Marinette started to say. She looked into his eyes and could feel her heart pounding. Taking a deep breath she said, "I've been wanting to tell you-"
"I'm back!" The security guard said, making them look. The woman came with a little computer in her hands. She handed it to Max who began working on getting into the Gyrosphere's system. Seeing that it might take some time, Adrien turned his attention back to Marinette and asked, "So, what we're you going to say, Marinette?"
"Um, well, I, uh-" Marinette struggled to find the right words. She tried to come out with it, "You see, for the longest time I've-"
"I think I've got it." Max said and the whirring of machines told them that the doors were starting to open. Marinette sighed as she had once again missed her chance. The doors started to slide open when they seemed to freeze. The security guard looked to Max and asked, "What's going on?"
"There must be something messing with the mechanisms of the door." Max said. He looked between the mini-computer and the Gyrosphere, "But a simple pull ought to get them open."
"We can help with that." A voice said from behind them. They looked back to see two men approaching. One was an American white man in a brown leather vest over blue rolled up long sleeved shirt and blue jeans. The other was an African man in a light brown jacket over a white sleeveless shirt and gray pants. Both men ran to both sides of the Gyrosphere as did Ivan and Kim. Placing their hands on the sides of the hatches, all four pulled on them. They got the Gyrosphere to open up enough to where Marinette and Adrien could quickly slip out. When they were all out, Ivan, Kim and the two men let go. The Gyrosphere closed back up and Gabriel quickly asked, "Are you all right, Adrien?"
"Don't worry, Father. Marinette and I are fine." Adrien reassured him. Even Marinette nodded and agreed, "Yeah, we're all good."
"You know, you shouldn't play around with broken rides." The man in blue joked. That caused his friend to shake his head before saying in French, "Oy Vei."
"Thank you, nice sirs." Marinette thanked the two. The first man shrugged and said, "No problem." Looking to Max he said, "Nice job on at least loosening the hatches for us."
"While there are still a few bugs to work out," Max said when he looked at the sphere before looking back, "I am always prepared to handle all kinds of technological problems."
"Speaking of technological, where's Markov?" Kim asked his best friend. The question made Max sigh and he said, "I had to leave him in the room. He's going through a routine checkup. It'll last a few hours."
"Bummer. He's going to miss out on a lot of stuff today." Adrien said. This confused the two men and the second man asked, "Uh, who is Markov?"
"Oh, he's a robot with an advanced A.I." Max told them. The man then said, "Wait, that wouldn't be the same little robot that became a walking combination of cars in Paris is it?"
"Yeah, and that's where we're all from." Marinette said as she gestured to her and her friends. The first man introduced themselves, "Name's Owen Grady.
"And this here's my good friend Barry Sembene." Owen said as he wrapped an arm around his friend. Barry just smiled and rolled his eyes. Owen turned his attention back to the French students and asked, "So, what brings a group of kids like you to Jurassic World?"
"Oh, our school was entered in a contest and we won it apparently." Marinette explained it. She then introduced herself, "My name's Marinette Dupen-Cheng." Then gesturing to those with her she said, "And this my friend Alya, Nino, Adrien, his father Gabriel, his bodyguard.
"Then there's Kim, Max, Ivan, Mylene, Rose, Juleka and Lila." Marinette said, keeping her disdain for Lila on the downlow. Barry then asked, "Wait? Gabriel and Adrien Agreste?"
"Yes." Gabriel simply said. Placing a hand on his son's shoulder he said, "We need to be going now. We're heading for the Innovation Center."
"We'll catch up later." Alya said as the two walked off. Adrien's bodyguard looked to the remaining children before following after his employer. Owen suddenly recognized the journalist of the group and asked her, "Hey, don't you have some kind of blog?"
"Yeah, the Ladyblog." Alya nodded as she took out her phone. Then she said, "And while we're here, I'm doing a smaller blog about our experiences in Jurassic World."
Barry looked to his friend and happened to notice a look on Owen's face. He became a little stern when he said, "Owen. I know what it is you are thinking, and it is not a good idea."
"Hey, as long as we keep an eye on them and they're careful it shouldn't be a problem." Owen defended his idea. This confused some of the French students and Nino asked, "So, what exactly is it that you do again?"
"You'll see." Owen nodded with a grin. Looking about he said, "But first, we'll need to find us a ride big enough for all of us."

Author's Note: I hope that this chapter was entertaining for you all. The next chapter will be mostly about Claire, Gabriel, Simon and Adrien's trip over the island. They're going to meet the island's only hybrid dinosaur. And there's going to be a little mystery to it. I look forward to reading your reviews.
