Worse then Quirkless

Inside a hospital. We find a bunch of kids running around with excitement. The reason for this is that they were all waiting to be called in to be examined to find out if they have quirks or not as well as what their quirk is. One child was simply sitting down watching all the other children run around while they just wrote in a notebook all the kinds of quirks he'd like to have and what could be done with them.

A few minutes later the door opened as a young man in a white lab coat, tan slacks, and a light blue shirt with smooth black shoes walks in with a nursing assistant. "Ok children calm down now the doctor will be seeing you one at a time so please take a seat in one of the chairs and this will go by before you know it." the nurse said with a kind smile while looking at the kids over a clipboard.

As all the children went a found a seat while shaking in anticipation the doctor steps forward." now kids my name is Horio Yuki and I'll be checking to see what quirks your all have so please mind Nurse sally and we can have a fun experience. I'll is in the check-up room nurse so start sending them in when you're ready." Dr. Yuki said walking back the way they came…

A little over an hour passed as the children went in one at a time when their name was called and came out just as excited as when they went in, one was acting glum. "Ok Naruto Uzumaki please come this way." The nurse called with a smile and the young boy, Naruto, Closed his notebook and followed the Nurse to the doctor.

"Hello young man please take a seat this won't tack long and do worry it's completely painless" Dr, Yuki said with a smile as he proceeded to examine Naruto. After twenty minutes Dr. Yuki was looking at a sheet of paper. "Well young man I have good and bad news which would you like to hear first?" asked with a stranded smile.

"I'd like the good first sir," Naruto replied with some worry that he might not have a quirk.

"Well young man the good news is you possess a quirk, however, it's quite useless and you may have been better off without a quirk given today society." Dr. Yuki said with a sigh. While Naruto sighed in relief at first then gulped at the latter.

"Why do you say it's useless sigh it can't be that bad," Naruto asked while sweating… "well you see young man from what I can tell about your quirk from the tests, it gives several gifts but they can all be achieved without a quirk and have been done so for ages. These gifts included perfect writing and memory, as well as the ability to write on anything even air by producing a form of what I can guess, is energy by making anything you want to write act like paper. As you can guess from my description it's rather useless but here's an upside, it's the first every quirk like it." DR. Yuki told while trying to be gentle but with a bit of happiness that it was a brand new quirk never heard of before.

"I see does that mean I get to name what my quirk is since I'm the first to ever have it?" Naruto asked a glum but with some happiness about having a one-of-a-kind quirk… "yes young man you may name it whatever you like as long as it explains what you can do. I'll give you some time to come up with a name just remember it's what your quirk will be called from now on." said with a smile that the child was taking it better than he was expecting.

After ten minutes Naruto was about to answer the script but had a flashback of when he was reading a book on all kinds of writing and one word strike him." uh how about a seal? I read that there are a lot of ways to write and one such way is with seal script so id like my Quirk to be called Seal." Naruto said a litter nervous that the doctor wouldn't think its a good or fitting name.

"Hmm Seal uh that seems like a fitting name it said that seals can be placed anywhere so yes a very fitting name young man I'll write it in right now head to the front desk and they will make you an id card that will have your name, birthday and quirk, have a pleasant day young man," said with a smile as Naruto left for the front desk to retrieve his card.

Latter at an orphanage

We find Naruto in the backyard of the building looking at his card while he was playing around with his quirk on the grass.

Name: Naruto Uzumaki

Age: 4

Birthdate: October 10 XXXX

Quirk: Seal

While he was staring at his card he heard a small pop next to him. Confused he looked at where the sound came from which was where he was drawing in the grass and saw he drew some kind of symbol. That was indented in the ground and grass so redrawing the same symbols with his quick as soon as he finished the symbol pop shocking him.

"That's wired why'd it do that maybe is some super writing, if so I need to figure out all the symbols and what they do to make it like writing a sentence where each symbol has a different meant if that one means pop maybe…" so for the next ten and a half years he worked on finding out all the symbols and how to connect them to make new effects…
