A/N: Sorry for the delay, but I had to get a chapters for other stories done. Now, prepare for a little sadness, and watch as the five are wowed by what they find in the woods.

Chapter Fifteen: New Discoveries
On the other side of the Gyrosphere Valley, the Jurassic World jeep had managed to pull in through one of the other gates with no complications. But as they drove up a hill, Owen saw something ahead and began to slow down. Ladybug leaned up behind him and asked, "What is it, Owen?"
"I think it might be that." Cat Noir pointed to something ahead of them. Owen came to a stop and pulled on the hand brake. He opened the door to his side and told Claire, "Wait here in the car."
The three behind them unbuckled before getting out. Claire only watched as the four walked together to something that was laying on the ground. Owen held a rifle at the ready while Ladybug and Cat Noir prepared their respective weapons. But the two superheroes lowered them when they saw that it was an Apatosaurus. And the poor thing had been badly hurt. Large gash marks were all along its body. They were greatly surprised to see that she was still alive after such an attack. A groan of pain from the Apatosaur made them all look to the dinosaur's head.
The three placed their weapons away while rushing up to the injured dinosaurs head and knelt beside her. She groaned again when Owen gently placed a hand on her neck and he felt very sorry for her when he said, "Hi."
"Judging from her wounds, the attack wasn't so long ago." The disguised Master Fu informed when he inspected one of the gash marks on her side. He shook his head when he said, "But I doubt that any medical team would arrive in time to be able to save her."
From the car, Claire happened to hear everything that Master Fu had said and moved to get out of the car. She looked to the injured dinosaur and started to feel something for the poor thing. In her mind, she was starting to understand just how little she knew about them. The dinosaur continued groaning and whimpering from what it had gone through while Owen tried to sooth her, "I know. I know."
"It's all right. It's all right, girl." Owen said and gently ran his hand from her head to her neck. Tears started to well up in Ladybug's eyes as she couldn't help but feel sorry for the dinosaur.
"If only there was something that we could do?" Cat Noir asked as he gently petted the dinosaur as well. Claire walked on the other side of the dinosaur and knelt down beside the behemoth's head. Owen looked to her as she couldn't speak, but looked as if she couldn't find the words. Claire looked into the Apatosaur's eye and suddenly felt what Masrani had said to her come true. She really could see the emotion behind the eyes. And right now, the emotion was a mixture of pain and fear. Tears started to well up in her eyes as well as she reached out to touch the dying creature. They were a little startled when she raised her head off the ground with a groan and Owen tried to calm her, "It's okay. It's okay."
The Apatosaur lowered its head again as it continued to fade away. Claire saw fragile the creature's life was almost like her own. The tears rolled down her face as she watched as the dinosaur's breathing started to become shallow with each breath. Claire thought that the magnificent creature was about to die when she suddenly thought of something. Looking to the black and white super heroine she asked, "Can you save her, Ladybug?"
"Oh, right." Ladybug said when she remembered her Lucky Charm. Ladybug threw her yo-yo up into the air and called on her, "Lucky Charm."
The magical ladybugs came together to form; a small, rectangular box. Ladybug caught it and was surprised to see what it was, "A first-aid kit?
"Luckily, that's what this thing'll give." Ladybug said when she looked to the Apatosaur. With a smile she said, "This will make you feel better. I promise."
Knowing that she didn't have a whole lot of time, she threw her Lucky Charm into the air and cried, "Miraculous Ladybug!"
The first-aid kit once again became the magical ladybugs and they fluttered about before coming over the injured Apatosaurus. They managed to do their magic and completely healed the dinosaur's wounds. When their work was finished, the the five watched as the magical ladybugs disappeared. Ladybug, Owen, Master Fu, Claire and Cat Noir all looked down at the formerly injured Apatosaur to see the large creature open her eyes. Instead of the look of pain in her eyes, the Apatosaur looked much more lively as she stood back up. While the three guys just smiled, both Ladybug and Claire gave a small laugh to see that the crisis had been averted.
"Thank you, Ladybug." Claire said as another tear rolled down her eye. Ladybug only smiled and gave a nod to her. Owen happened to glance away from the happy moment to see something on the next hill. Standing up and removing the gun from his back, he walked over and the others followed after him. They became shocked at what they were seeing.
The bodies of five other Apatosaurus were laying across the field, all bearing large gashes over them. Ladybug shook her head, "I don't understand, why didn't my magic ladybugs help them."
"Because they must have already passed on." Master Fu guessed. They looked to him and he said, "Death is something not so easily avoided. Our friend behind us was only moments away from joining the others."
"So, we were too late?" Ladybug asked, feeling disappointment and guilt from this. All Master Fu could do was close his eyes and shake his head. Ladybug turned and Cat Noir embraced her to comfort her. Even Claire and Owen were very shocked to see that this had happened. Three of the five glanced back to see the Apatosaur walk up to them and gently nudge Ladybug's back with her snout. She turned to it and could only give small laughs before rubbing its snout with her hand.
Owen took another glance at the bodies and noticed something that they had in common. He was confused when he said, "She didn't eat them.
"She didn't eat any of them." He shook his head. Master Fu looked to him and asked, 'Why would she do such a thing like this?"
"Because she's killing for sport." Owen said, thinking that what ever was put into her would make her act this way. A sudden beeping noise made them all look to Ladybug and she gasped before placing hand up to her earring. Quickly turning to Claire she nervously asked, "There's no way that anyone out here would be able to see me transform would there?"
"Uh, there's no actual cameras out here." Claire shook her head. But she was confused and asked, "Why?"
"Don't you remember what happened after Ladybug had fought the Indominus earlier?" Cat Noir reminded. Claire suddenly remembered and nodded, "I think that the car would be sufficient."
"And don't worry, we won't look." Owen promised while the others nodded. Ladybug nodded her appreciation before quickly running to the truck.
When she was out of sight with the others, Ladybug glanced about before saying, "Spots Off!"
The Ladybug transformation reversed itself and Marinette Dupen-Cheng was once again standing in the heroine's place. Tikki flew up to her head and Marinette opened her purse to get Tikki another macaroon. The teen looked to the Kwami and said, "We'll need to use these sparingly. We only have a few left."
"Hopefully, we'll get this crisis averted before that should happen." Tikki said and took the macaroon from Marinette. Marinette's face fell and she asked, "Tikki, is it true that we can't save those from-"
"Death?" Tikki finished as she continued to eat the macaroon. She seemed sad as well before nodding, "Unfortunately it is, Marinette. There's just somethings that the magical ladybugs can't do. And reviving those from death is one of them.
"As it is, death is a natural process." Tikki added. But she felt a little disheartened when she said, "Even if it is through such unfair means."
"Then we need to stop the Indominus before anymore catastrophes happen." Marinette declared just when Tikki finished her macaroon. The Kwami was ready for action when Marinette said, "Tikki, Spots On!"
When Tikki flew into Marinette's earring, she once again transformed into Ladybug. She walked around the car and said, "Let's get going, guys. We have a lot of ground to cover."
They nodded before hurrying back to the car.

Elsewhere on the island, a boat had just come up onto the beat as much as it could and lowered a ramp. A military styled vehicle came rolling down before driving along the shore while military personnel walked about. Some were directing other vehicles, while others were unloading various equipment. And standing in the middle of it all was Vic Hoskins and Lila Rossi. A man walked with them and reported, "We have units on standby, and they're ready for go."
"That's good." Vic nodded. Glancing to him he ordered, "Hold off on that live feed for the moment. We've got an evolving situation here."
"Did you give you the green light yet?" He asked as they walked up to a crate that had equipment all set up. The man looked to Lila and asked, "And the reason that she's here is…?"
"Because she's gonna help get us green lit." Vic vouched for her. He looked to the teen and asked, "Ain't that right, Lila?"
"Of course." Lila agreed with a grin and a wave of her hand. She looked to them and said, "After all, I just want the safety of my friends and everyone else on Isla Nublar."
"Atta girl." Vic grinned and patted her on the arm. Lila laughed and when the two looked away she rolled her eyes and turned away. She took out her phone and started texting someone what was happening on the island.
…
Up on a hill not too far from the beach, a pair of binoculars was watching the whole thing. Making sure to stay hidden behind some rocks, Barry lowered the binoculars as he didn't like what he was saying. Lifting a radio he tried to contact, "Owen, we have a bit of a situation here. Over"
But all his radio was picking up was static. Barry shook his head at the distorted radio signal and cursed in French.

Back with the five, they had found the entrance to the Valley that had been broken and Owen drove the car through it. They drove on a path that was clearly created by the Gyrospheres and came to the clearing where the attack had taken place. Ladybug glanced to her right and gasped in fright. The others looked before they too grimaced at the sight. The body of the dead Ankylosaur lay under a tree. Claire noticed something behind the body and said, "Look, one of the Gyrospheres!"
Owen saw it and stopped the car. After getting out, they came up to the three-man Gyrosphere and saw that it seemed to be intact for the most part. Ladybug shook her head, "I don't understand it. Where did they go?"
"All I know is that they must have had a run in with the I-rex." Cat Noir said and pointed to a large three toed foot print at his feet. The disguised Master Fu pointed and said, "And it did not seem to go well, I'm afraid."
They all looked to see a two-manned Gyrospheres and saw that it had been smashed up pretty good. They heard a voice coming from inside, "Hey, there, explorers. I'm Jimmy Fallon. Welcome aboard the Gyrosphere. Where your safety is our-"
They jumped when a spark shot out and the power from the sphere died. When no more sparks were flying, Owen walked up to the destroyed ride and noticed something at the top. He placed his gun behind his back and removed a knife from his side before using it to remove one of Indominus' teeth from it. While he was doing that, Ladybug, Cat Noir and Claire were looking about for any clues to see what had happened. Claire gasped when she saw something in the mud and ran over to pick up Zach's phone that had been left behind, "No, no, no."
She started breathing heavy as she feared the worst for her nephews. Cat Noir walked over to her and said, "Hey, it doesn't mean what you think it does.
"We just have to keep looking." Cat Noir encouraged her. Claire nodded and pocketed the phone before standing back up. Master Fu glanced down and said, "I think I may have found something."
The other four quickly made their way over to him and saw what he was seeing. Owen could tell that the tracks were fresh when he said, "They made it out."
Claire sighed as she was starting to feel better again, but knew that it was hardly the time to make close calls. The five followed after the trail and came out of the forest. The tracks went through a small plain that went along with a small creek. Ladybug glanced at a few broken branches and deduced, "She must have chased after them."
They kept following the trail until it ended at the cliff. They didn't see any signs of the five they were searching for, the Indominus or that something bad had happened. Only one explanation came to mind to Claire, "Oh, my gosh they jumped."
"Really brave kids." Owen said after inspecting the tracks. Ladybug, Master Fu, Cat Noir and Owen all comically flailed about when Claire shouted out, "Zach! Gray!"
"Hey, are you crazy." Cat Noir said when he clamped his hand over her mouth. Claire was able to push him off of her and Owen shushed her, "Shh-shh!"
"Hey, I am not some kind of animal." Claire protested. Ladybug said, "We know that, but shouting while there's a dangerous predator on the loose is not a great idea."
"She's right." Owen agreed. Looking out to the jungles for anything suspicious, he then turned back to her and said, "Those five kids are still alive, but the five us will not be if you go and scream like that."
Claire nodded as she saw that they had a point. Then she asked Owen, "So…
"You can pick up their scent, right? Track their footprints?" She added with a whisper. That earned her some odd looks and Owen clarified, "I was with the Navy, not the Navajo."
"What about you guys?" Claire asked Ladybug and Cat Noir. Ladybug then suggested, "We could try going ahead in the trees to see if we can find them, but I don't like the idea of leaving the three of you in case the Indominus is still around."
"Yeah, I vote for sticking together." Cat Noir agreed when he raised his hand. Master Fu thought it a wise choice himself. Claire became a little frantic when she asked, "So, what are we going to do? What do you suggest that we do?"
"Well, first; you need to calm down." Ladybug said, knowing that Hawk Moth could use Claire's fears against her. Remembering that she had remain positive, Claire took a deep breath to calm herself. Owen then said, "You and him," He pointed to Master Fu, "Get back to the car.
"The three of us will go and find them." He said when he gestured to himself and the two heroes. But Claire shook her head while gesturing to all five of them, "Uh, no. We'll all find them."
"You'll last two minutes in there. Less in those ridiculous shoes." Owen said to Claire. Then looking to Master Fu he said, "And I'm not trying to be disrespectful, but I fear that you might just slow us down."
"Do not worry about me, young man." Master Fu only said with a smile. Pointing to himself he said, "You don't get to live around my age without taking a few risks."
"And as for me." Claire said before undoing the clasp of her fancy shirt. The four watched in slight confusion as she tied the ends of her fancy shirt together before rolling up her sleeves. When she was finished she placed her hands on her hips and gave them a serious look. The others were still confused when Owen asked, in his normal voice "What exactly is that supposed to mean?"
"It means that I'm ready to go." Claire shrugged, as if it were obvious. Cat Noir looked to him and gave his own shrug, "I guess we have no choice but to take them."
"That's right." Claire smirked. Owen shook his head, clearly wanting to this job done with little to no problems. He looked to Claire and Master Fu with a serious look, "All right, fine. But let's get one thing straight. I'm the one in charge out here, alright. The two of you do everything I say, exactly as I say it."
"Excuse me?" Claire started to question, wondering if it was some sort of way to get back at her from earlier. Owen then said, "Just relax.
"It's going to be like taking a walk through the woods." He took the gun off his back and readied it. He looked back to the four and added, "Sixty-five million years ago."
The four of them started off back into the forest to continue their search. But as Claire, Ladybug and Cat Noir went on ahead, Owen and Master Fu glanced down to the side of the cliff to see one of the Indominus' footprints in the mud. Master Fu then reassured, "Worry, not. We will find the children."
"I hope so." Owen nodded before they walked after the three.

Deep in the jungles of Isla Nublar, Chloe, Zach, Nino, Gray and Alya had been walking for a good while now. They suddenly came across a disturbing sight. A couple of vehicles had been completely trashed and laying about were a few helmets. Gray picked one up and started to get scared that the Indominus was close by. He started breathing heavily as Zach came and took the helmet from him. Looking to his brother he said, "Stay here.
"The three of us should see if there's still anything useful in them." He said to Alya and Nino. Chloe protested, "Hey, what about me?"
"You know anything about cars?" Zach asked her and she seemed to clam up about it. Alya then said, "Look, just stay here with Gray. And let us know if you see anything. Good or bad."
"Uh, you got it." Gray nervously said while the three walked off. The younger teen kept close to Chloe as they both looked about the jungle.
When they had reached the cars, Zach looked under the hood of one but was disappointed to what he found. He shook his head before carefully and quietly closing the lid. Looking back he asked, "Find anything?"
"Well, everything looks to be in order." Alya said when she took a look. But Nino was the one to kill the vibe by saying, "But it would seem that this car has a flat."
"This one too." Zach said when he inspected the wheels of his vehicle. They came together again and Zach shook his head, "The engine of my car is toast."
"Steering wheels busted in ours." Alya said with a disappointed look. Their attention was stolen when they heard Chloe call out, "Hey, guys! I think we found something!"
"If it's just her way of being bossy, she's so going to get it." Alya shook her head, not in the mood for games. They walked back over to the two and they were pointing to something. When Zach, Alya and Nino looked to where they were pointing, their eyes widened to what they were seeing.
Not but a few feet from where they were standing, a large set of double doors stood. Alya whipped out her phone and took a picture of it for her blog real quick. Nino looked to the others and asked, "Uh, is this what I think it is?"
"I think it is." Gray nodded and they all started walking to the doors. They climbed up a small set of stairs and the boy said, "I think that we're before the doors of Jurassic Park."
"Wow, this place is really something." Chloe said, not able to find the right words. Alya was amazed when she said, "The way that this place has stood out over the course of twenty plus years is amazing."
"Well, at least we found some shelter for the time being." Zach said as he walked forward to open the door. It took a little effort to open the door and Nino and Gray helping made it a little easier. The doors creaked as they opened again after such a long time. When they were wide open, they saw that much of the old Visitors Center had been taken back by the jungle.
"So, should we take a look around?" Nino suggested. The others nodded, seeing that they didn't have anything better. They walked further into the building and saw a few skeletons laying about. Most of the building seemed to have fallen apart due to time and nature. Alya had taken her phone out again and was recording the whole thing. They saw that it was pretty dark in most of the building and Zach got an idea. He plucked a bone from one of the old exhibits before noticing something else on the ground. With a swipe of his foot he uncovered an old tarp that had the word RULE on it. Alya gasped, "No way! This was the banner from the original park.
"Do you guys how much people are going to freak out when they've seen what we stumbled upon?" She asked when she turned to them. She couldn't help herself when she said, "We are literally walking in a piece of history. This is huge."
"Well, hopefully, this piece of history can help us out." Zach said as he saw a piece of cloth hanging on one of the rails. Looking to Gray he asked, "You still have those matches with you?"
"Uh, yeah." Gray nodded and removed them from his pouch. He handed them to his brother, "Here."
Zach was able to wrap the cloth around the bone piece before setting it alight with a match. They started walking through the building, wondering what they would find. They saw a few sights, the cafeteria, the control room and they came across the labs.
They walked inside and looked at all the abandoned artificial nests. Alya used her the flashlight function on her phone to look about. She came across a binder that held many notes on the experiments that the InGen team did during the first part. Nino walked over to her and asked, "Whatcha got there, Alya?"
"Looks like an old data binder." Alya observed as she flipped through the pages. Then she said, "It seems that it holds all kinds of notes on the experiments that they did here."
"Looks like these are Doctor Wu's." Nino observed when he picked up another binder. He flipped through the pages until he stopped on a particular page. His eyes went wide before saying, "Uh, Alya. You might want to take a look at this."
"What?" She asked before looking at the binder in her boyfriend's hands. She looked at the papers that he was looking at and her eyes went wide with shock too.
"What did you guys find?" Gray asked as the other three joined them. Alya looked to them and said, "It might be a good thing that Ladybug's here on the island."
"Why?" Both Zach and Chloe said as they didn't understand. Nino moved to where they could see and they all became surprised. In the book, there was something called: PROJECT KWAMI.
"What's a Kwami?" Gray asked in confusion. Alya then said, "Well, in a confidential interview with Ladybug…"
"And having met one myself." Chloe said, talking about her Kwami Pollen. Alya rolled her eyes before continuing, "She didn't tell me much, but Ladybug said Kwamis are what power the Miraculous."
"And what's so bad about this?" Zach asked and gestured to the paper in front of him. Alya looked at the notes and said, "It says here that Dr. Wu hypothesized that cloning a Kwami to be possible."
"But how would you do that?" Nino asked, not understanding the doctors reasoning. Zach agreed by saying, "Yeah, if there tied in with superheroes like Ladhybug and Cat Noir, then Kwamis aren't that easy to get to, right?"
"Yeah, but what if someone got ahold of their DNA somehow?" Gray wondered, knowing that with the building blocks of life, then it could be possible. Alya closed the binder and said, "Nevertheless, we need to show this to Ladybug and Cat Noir the moment we meet up with them."
"That's probably for the best." Chloe agreed, surprising the group. She then said, "Now, let's find something that can get us back to the park."
"You heard her." Zach chuckled and they started walking through the building again. Alya kept a good hold on the binder as she followed after the others.

Author's Note: Yes, I know that this is a bit of a mystery. I was planning on doing something in case I ever thought of doing a sequel for this story. But don't worry, we're mostly sticking with Jurassic World for the moment. I look forward to reading your reviews.
