A/N: I think we all know that things will go crazy. I don't know how long I'm gonna make this chapter, but I will tell you that I'm going to do a few things differently than how it went in the movie.

Chapter Twenty: The Last Hunt For the Indominus Rex
Claire had led her group to one of the medical trucks and started pulling on the door. Alya and Nino helped her out and pulled the doors open. Clarie looked ot the five and said, "It's perfectly safe, see. All right then, get inside."
"There is no way I am sitting back here." Chloe said before walking around the truck. Claire then asked, "Where are you going?"
Chloe looked back to her and said, "I'm not going anywhere. I'm going to sit up front."
"Oh." Claire said and Chloe continued on her way. Claire looked to the remaining four and said, "Then I guess it's just the rest of you. Hop in."
"Okay." Alya said as she, Nino and the brothers all climbed into the back of the truck. They took a seat on the far wall of the back. Claire then pointed to the window over their heads and said, "If you need me or Chloe, we'll be right up in the front.
The little window opened up and they could see Chloe looking through it. Chloe then warned, "Make sure that if you do need us, it's for a real emergency."
With that said, she closed the window up again while the four teens just shook their heads. Even Claire was a little weirded out by that, but she didn't dwell on it. She nodded to the four, "Okay, then. Just try to keep out of trouble, okay?"
"You got it." Alya said while Nino and the brothers nodded in agreement. Claire then told them, "Now, put your seatbelts on."
Alya, Nino, Zach and Gray looked about the medical vehicle before turning back to her. Feeling a little stupid, Claire then said, "Okay, so just… hold each other's hands."
She then closed the door and left the four in darkness, the only light coming from the windows. Gray stretched his hand to his brother who only gave him a look that said that he wasn't doing that.
Outside of the truck, Claire removed her over shirt as she walked to the front and opened the door. She climbed into the driver's seat and placed her ruined shirt in the seat between her and Chloe before shutting the door. Chloe started sniffing and then asked, "What's that smell?"
"You don't want to know." Claire shook her head. Chloe gave a small glance to her before shrugging it off.
Back inside the truck, the group heard one of the Velociraptors screeching. Gray began to feel nervous again and asked, "Um… nothing's going to get in here, right?"
"I think that this is much safer than the Gyrosphere ever could be." Alya said with a laugh. Zach and Nino chuckled as well, but Gray didn't seem to be laughing. Zach instantly noticed this and said, "Hey. It's going to be okay."
When it didn't seem to work, Zach then reminded, "Do you remember that spooky ghost from the old house? The one that was in the garage?"
Gray nodded, remembering those times. Zach then reminded, "I protected you, right?"
Another nod and Gray remembered what his brother did, "You had made a battle axe out of a ruler and a paper plate."
"Yeah." Zach smiled from the fond memories. Even Nino and Alya smiled from the moment between the two brothers. He promised, "See, nothing bad is gonna get you while I'm around, okay?"
"But you're not always gonna be around." Gray sadly said, thinking about how their parents may get divorced. That made all three older teens' faces fall when they remembered what Gray had said on the monorail. Zach then nodded, "Yeah, well…
"We're brothers, okay. You and me. And we always will be." He said when he gestured between the them. He wrapped an arm around Gray's shoulders when he said, "We'll always come back to one another. No matter what."
"No matter what." Gray nodded in agreement and Zach pulled his brother in for a hug. The sound of sobbing made the two and Alya look to Nino who had tears in his eyes. The teen was trying to dry them and he said, "Sorry. It's just such a touching scene."
"Oh, there, there, Nino." Alya chuckled and patted her boyfriend on the back. Zach then asked, "Hey, where did that Lila girl go?"
"I think that she went back to the resort with Hoskins." Alya said, trying to remember. Gray then asked, "What I don't get is why she's messing around with a guy like Vic."
"It doesn't make any sense." Zach shook his head. Then he said, "There's something about her I don't trust."
"Actually, Lila's not a bad person." Nino shook his head in Lila's defense. He then said, "She's just doing what she thinks is right."
"And letting Velociraptors loose on the island where there are thousands of people?" Zach asked him. Then he rhetorically asked, "Doesn't that sound suspicious to you?"
"Hm." Nino said as he tried to think about it. Gray then asked, "Has she been here at the Raptor paddock all day?"
"Pretty much." Alya nodded to confirm it.

Owen walked into the cage with something wrapped in cloth. He unwrapped it when walking up one of the holding cells. His brows furrowed when he noticed something about it. The beacon itself was missing from the flesh of the Indominus Rex. Knowing that he couldn't dwell on that for the moment, Owen held it up to the holding cells and let the Raptor inside get a good whiff of the scent. He took out his clicker and gave a few pushes of the button before repeating the process with the other three Velociraptors. When he was sure that they all had the scent, he walked away with the piece of flesh in his hand. He walked over to Ladybug and Cat Noir who were at the ready to help with the hunt. He asked, " You guys ready for this?"
"Mm-hmm." Both Ladybug and Cat Noir nodded. Owen nodded, "Good. Because we got a lot more work ahead of us if we get this over with."

From the Control Room, Lowery was watching from his monitor. He saw the team had been assembled and were preparing for departure. Vic showed up behind him and placed a hand on Lowery's chair. Lowery looked back to him when Vic said, "Awesome."
"Still a bad plan." Lowery threw out there with a shake of his head. But his words fell on deaf ears as Vic continued to watch the monitor. From behind, Lila had a smirk on her face before looking down at her purse. She gently lifted the flap to look at the deactivated beacon sitting in it. Lila closed her purse back up before anyone could see it.

From the tree line not too far from the Raptor paddock, Hawk Moth stayed hidden within the trees. He thought of walking in and taking them all on to try and take the Cat Ring and the Ladybug Earrings, but thought against it seeing how many people that this Vic Hoskins had brought in. Hawk Moth was no coward, especially to a bunch of ordinary people aiding a couple of superheroes, but he didn't want to take any chances. He decided to wait it out until the right moment to step in.

The entire team had been assembled with Owen and Barry in the lead. Owen was atop his motorcycle while Barry rode on an ATV. All the engines were revved up and Owen looked back to see Ladybug and Cat Noir join them. Ladybug was standing on Owen's left while Cat Noir was next to Barry's right. The four looked to each other before giving a nod that they were ready. Owen turned his attention ahead before shouting to Leon, "Let 'em loose!"
Leon, who was standing from a high vantage point of the paddock, looked down at a remote in his hand. He pushed the button to release, even though he thought it was a bad idea.
The doors the Raptors' individual cells opened up and Blue, Delta, Echo and Charlie all charged out at once. With the scent memorized, Blue led her sisters out into the jungle. Ladybug and Cat Noir started running after them while Owen, Barry and the InGen mercenaries followed behind. While the Raptors disappeared into the trees, Ladybug threw her yo-yo forward while Cat Noir pole vaulted up into the trees. When they were clear of the vehicles, Owen, Barry and the rest started going faster.
Inside the forest, all four Raptors weaved past trees, jumped over logs and ducked under branches as they ran. They followed after the scent and could tell that it was getting stronger with each step they took. The Raptor Squad picked up the pace when they could tell that their target wasn't too much further from them. Soon, all four of the Velociraptors were running side by side with each other.

Back in the truck, Claire managed to secure a pad to watch the hunt. Chloe was looking from her spot. From behind, the window slowly opened and the four in the back watched from behind. Claire could only hope that things went well for this mission.

Back with the Raptor Squad, the four slightly broke formation once again when Owen caught up to them. He was able to pull his motorcycle to where he rode in between all four when they reentered formation. As they either ran or drove through the jungle, Owe, Blue, Delta, Echo and Charlie looked up to see Ladybug and Cat Noir jumping along the branches. Owen smirked as they all continued through the forest. There seemed to be a small jump up ahead. It seemed that Ladybug, Cat Noir and Owen all had an idea in their head. Removing her yo-yo, Ladybug started swinging overhead. Cat Noir followed by jumping kind of like a cat would. And Owen and the Raptor Squad started going a little faster. They made it to the jump and time seemed to slow down as they went over. If one thought about it, it looked as if they were in some kind of incredible scene only noticed in a movie.

Back at the Paddock, everyone was still watching the feed from one of the Velociraptors. Zach looked to his aunt and said, "Your boyfriend's really awesome, you know."
Claire couldn't help but smile as she thought of Owen that way. Alya then teased, "Looks like someone's got the hots for the Raptor Trainer."
"Wha-" Claire said when she looked to the girl. Then she shook her head, "Sh-Shut up!"
That caused all the teens to laugh a little from her reaction. They then turned their attention back to the tablet.

As they were getting closer and closer to the Indominus' location, Owen glanced back to see everyone else catching up. He saw Barry shake his head and he knew that he didn't like this plan. They didn't have to like it as they continued speeding or swinging through the jungle.

In the Control Room, Vic and Lila were sitting down to watch the show. Vic looked between Lowery and Lila as he said, "Imagine if we had these puppies over in Tora Bora."
Lowery and Vivian could only look at the man before turning back to the screen. Vic licked his lips and found himself a little thirsty. He reached around Lowery and grabbed the man's cup. He looked to one of the men with him and asked, "Are you recording everything?"
The man nodded to confirm it. Neither Lowery nor Vivian could believe that he had just done that. They looked to each other and Lowery gave her a sly look. Hoskins started to take a sip of the soda when Lowery said, "Just so you know, I had the flu not too long ago."
That caused Hoskins to stop in mid sip a little before he turned to his left and did a spit take. A shriek immediately followed and everyone looked to see that Lila had soda on her. She looked to Hoskins with a glare and he offered a quick, "Sorry."
"If you'll excuse me." Lila said and stood up, purse still on her. She sharply turned to the elevator and started walking, "I'm going to go to the wash room."
While Vic sheepishly looked back to the screen, Lowery turned to Vivian and the two only smiled. They then turned their attention back to the screen and watched the group still charging through the forest.

The humans of the group continued to follow after the Velociraptors and Barry looked down to a device on his person. He noticed all four dots starting to slow down. He shouted to Owen and the two heroes above them, "They're starting to slow down!"
"We must be close then!" Ladybug shouted back from up in the trees. Owen quickly used the radio on him and reported, "They got something. Should be the Indominus."
"Copy that." A voice responded back to him.
Up ahead, the Raptor Squad came to a small clearing and stopped in their tracks. They looked about as those behind them caught up. Ladybug and Cat Noir landed on the ground a few feet behind the four Velociraptors while Owen, Barry and the mercenaries walked up next to them. They scanned the area for any signs of the Indominus, but couldn't due to her camouflage capabilities. From up in a tree, Hawk Moth silently landed on one of the branches and watched from afar.
Owen, Barry and the mercenaries prepared their firearms while Ladybug and Cat Noir readied their respective weapons. Everyone moved in position while the four Raptors in front of them remained alert.

In the medical van, Claire knew that it was about to get messy. She shook her head, "You know what? No, no, no." She turned and started to close the window, "I'm not letting any of you watch this."
"Aw come on." The four teens in the back protested. But Claire wouldn't hear any of it, "Keep that window closed.
"And you, in the back." She told Chloe. The heiress looked offended, "Excuse me. I already called up here."
"If I'm not going to let them watch, I'm not going to let you watch." Claire firmly stated. Chloe sighed as she could see that there's no arguing with the adult of the group. Chloe opened the door to get out and mumbled, "For Pete's sake, I'm Queen Bee."
"Not right now you're not." Claire muttered and shook her head when Chloe left. Claire then turned back to the tablet.

At the clearing, those with guns moved behind a fallen log and waited for their prey to come out. A growl deep in the trees seemed to put the four Velociraptors on edge. Ladybug suddenly noticed their behavior, but didn't say anything when the sound of thudding foot falls approached. They could hear her coming closer and the breaking of branches made those with the firearms turn on the laser sights. Everyone's breath slowed when they saw the Indominus starting to emerge from the forest. The four Velociraptors took a step or two back as she came closer.
Ladybug, Owen, Cat Noir and Barry all noticed something wrong when the Velociraptors didn't attack. They were surprised when the Indominus gave a bark=like growl and Blue responded with one of her own. The two then suddenly seemed as if they were engaged in a conversation as they barked at each other. Barry voiced his concerns, "Something's really wrong. They're communicating with each other."
"But how is that possible?" Ladybug questioned, not liking how the situation was progressing. Cat Noir's eyes widened when he realized something, "Unless the Indominus is…"
"Part something that no one wanted us to know of." Owen finished for him when he realized it. The five dinosaurs continued barking between each other before it looked at the humans behind the Raptors. Owen looked in horror at the Indominus and put the pieces together and said in a whispering tone, "That thing's part Raptor."
Everyone became very afraid when the Raptor Squad suddenly turned around with a hiss. The horrifying realization that they were now the targets put the team on edge.

In the Control Room, everyone saw how the cameras turned from the Indominus to the team. Vic, starting to worry that his plan was starting to fall apart, stood up and questioned, "What's taking them all so long?" He picked up a radio and shouted, "Light it up!
"Now!" He commanded.

"Engage!" One of the mercenaries relayed the orders and they started shooting. While Ladybug and Cat Noir cringed from the loud bangs, the Raptor Squad quickly moved out of the way and the Indominus was able to shrug off all the bullets that she received. She turned with a growl and fled back into the forest while Blue, Echo, Delta and Charlie went off in different directions. One of the mercenaries picked up a loaded rocket launcher and fired the weapon. The projectile was hurtled through the forest and hit the ground close to the Indominus. The hybrid dinosaur shrieked as she fell to the ground. Everyone stopped shooting to see if she was down, but the Indominus growled as she got up on her feet and started running again as a burning tree fell to the ground.
The mercenaries, Owen and Barry once again opened fire at the fleeing hybrid dinosaur. But they lost sight of her when she disappeared deep into the woods. Owen stood up from his cover and said, "Everyone watch your six. Raptors' got a new alpha now."
"What do we do?" Ladybug asked as they all started to follow after them. Owen then said, "Not much choice, Ladybug. We need to find the Indominus as soon as we can and put an end to this as fast as we can."
"And the girls?" Cat Noir asked feeling a little nervous going up against five, if not six, opponents now. Owen shook his head, "We'll get them back on our side. I just hope that we're not too late."
Distant growling made everyone look about as they continued walking. They had no idea just how bad things were about to get.

In the medical truck, Claire shook her head, seeing that everything had gone so wrong so fast. A tap on the window cover made her jump a little. Then she heard Alya ask, "Claire, what's going on over there?"
"Are they getting the Indominus?" Nino asked and it made Claire nervous on what to tell them. Claire shook her head when all she could come up with was, "They're working on it!"

The group continued walking through the forest and they jumped when a twig snapped. They looked about just as a shape disappeared amongst the trees. One of the mercenaries suggested, "Maybe we should break off in teams of two."
"That doesn't sound too smart." Cat Noir shook his head. The mercenary looked to him and questioned, "How would you know?"
"Isn't splitting up how the monster gets people in horror movies?" Cat Noir asked, making a good point. Owen then said, "Okay, everybody just be quiet. We need to focus."
A mercenary happened to get too far away from the group and one of the Velociraptors came at him with a screech. The man screamed before she pounced on him. He never had a chance to defend himself as she got to him first.
Everyone heard the sound of the screaming and started firing in that direction. Another Raptor tackled another mercenary from behind. The mercenaries started shooting everywhere, but seemed to be step behind as the four Velociraptors were able to evade the shooting. One guy stopped shooting and turned to his right just to see a Raptor come on to him. He screamed as her jaws came down on his face.
One by one, the mercenaries that Hoskins had brought in were picked off by one of the Velociraptors. Ladybug, Cat Noir, Owen, Barry and a few other men were the ones to keep safe as they were able to stay out of sight of the Raptors. But they were caught off guard when something fell from the trees behind them. They slowly turned around and gasped when they saw something just as bad as the Indominus and the rogue Velociraptors: Hawk Moth.
"Hello, everyone. Nice day for some chaos, isn't it?" He said with a sinister grin.

Author's Note: I decided to end it on a cliff hanger here. Next chapter will be very appropriately named. And it will go a little differently than the movie went.
