Chapter Twenty-Three: The Final Battle
The group rushed out of the lab and some started to run back for the entrance. But Claire stopped them when she shouted, "No, not that that way, you guys." She turned down the other hall, "This way, follow me. Come on."
But they were all stopped and gasped when Delta came crashing through a glass wall. They quickly turned around and went the other way. The sound of a screeching Velociraptor made them run even faster. When they came into the lobby of the Innovation Center, Ladybug's earrings beeped again and another spot disappeared from them. Cat Noir didn't need to look when he said, "You're about to transform back! You go and find a place to quickly recharge and meet us outside."
"But-" Ladybug started to protest. But Kappa cut her off by saying, "He's right, Ladybug. We need you in fighting shape in case there is another emergency."
Ladybug bit her lip and she knew they were right. Owen looked to her as they ran and reassured her, "Don't worry. We'll do our best to keep safe, Ladybug."
"Thanks." Ladybug nodded and removed her yo-yo. When they made it into the the Innovation Center, she turned and threw her yo-yo up to the next level. She zipped upstairs and ran down another hall way. Lila, who had been at the back of the group, seemed to slow down a bit. She looked up the stairs and was about to go up them when Owen came running back. He grabbed her arm and said, "Lila, we can't stop."
"I, uh-" Lila tried to say. But she was yanked away and Owen said, "Come on."
She didn't really argue when Delta came running into the room. Gray ran to one of the consoles and pushed an icon that made a hooting noise. Just when Delta entered the room, a hologram of a Dilophosaurus appeared in front of Delta. The hologram screeched and flared up its frill. The sudden appearance of the rival dinosaur startled Delta and she immediately went into attack mode. While the humans quickly rushed out the door Delta leapt at the hologram. She thought that she had taken a bite out of it when she snapped her jaws, but she bit empty air when she went through it. Delta seemed confused about it when she turned back to the hologram.
The doors of the Innovation Center closed behind the group and they ran down the steps. But they suddenly had to stop when Blue appeared in front of them. They looked to the side when Charlie and Echo showed up. All three Velociraptors snarled as they kept the group from escaping. They thought of going back, but the doors opened and revealed a ticked off Delta. Everyone jumped when Echo came a little closer.

Up on the second level of the Innovation Center, Ladybug rushed into a conveniently placed rest room. She saw that she was completely alone. Knowing that she couldn't dawdle, Ladybug quickly said, "Spots off!"
A flash of pink and Marinette stood in the bath room. Tikki floated up to her and Marinette opened up her purse. She looked a little worried when she took out a macaroon. Tikki could tell that she worried about something and guessed, "Last macaroon?"
"Yeah, we'll have to make it count." Marinette said and handed it to Tikki. Tikki took it and Marinette said, "After this, Ladybug will have to make a hasty retreat back to Paris."
"Mm." Tikki nodded in understanding. She quickly started eating while Marinette nervously looked to the door and hoped that her friends were okay.

Back outside of the Innovation Center, the rogue Raptor Squad started coming closer to the group. Still feeling a little hurt by their betrayal Owen questioned, "That's how it is, huh?
"Is this how it ends, girls?" Owen asked them, even though they couldn't give him the kind of answer he wished. Kappa rubbed his hands together and said, "I will create a shield for us."
"Wait." Owen said and held up his hand to stop him. He looked to the older Miraculous holder and said, "Let me try to reach them."
While some of the group behind them and Kappa were a little unsure that this would end any better than how it went with Vic, they decided to trust him. Owen looked back to Blue and slowly started to approach her. Blue growled as he came closer and he gently set the gun down. It clattered against the concrete and it seemed to make all four Velociraptors calm down a little. Everyone watched with baited breath as they didn't know what to expect. Owen carefully raised his arms to Blue's head and it seemed to make her tense. Making shushing noises he said, "Easy there, girl.
"Easy." He said while moving his hand along her face. Everyone was worried while they watched his hand gently creep up to the straps that kept the equipment attached to her. He unbuckled it and let it fall to the ground. The action seemed to pacify Blue and it spread to her sisters fairly quickly as they all started making purr-like growls. Nino leaned closer to his girlfriend and said, "This is kind of much more awesome than what happened earlier."
"Yeah. Wish that I had brought out my phone." Alya agreed with a grin. Owen grinned as he gently stroked the side of Blue's head, "That's it, girl."
The creaking of doors made everyone look back to see the open to reveal Ladybug standing there. She was a little worried at first but saw that everyone was alright. She smirked and asked, "I'm guessing that you have things covered out here, huh?"
The sound of loud growling made everyone jump and they looked down Main Street. The Indominus Rex walked onto the scene between a couple buildings before coming closer to the group and the reformed Raptor Squad. The Indominus looked about the four Velociraptors and from the look in her eye she didn't seem to be too happy that everyone was still alive. The Indominus growled at all the Raptors, as if questioning why they hadn't attacked them. Then she gave a bark like order, most likely that she wanted them to attack the group. Blue looked back to Owen before looking about the rest of the group. Then her gaze fell upon Ladybug at the top of the stairs. Ladybug gave the Velociraptor a hopeful look and Blue responded with a few clicks. Owen smiled when he knew that she and her sisters were back on her side. Blue turned back to the Indominus Rex and screeched in defiance. The Indominus didn't take too kindly to that and roared in anger. With a swift movement of her left hand, she smacked Blue off her feet and sent the Raptor through the air. Blue hit a pillar hard and her tail smashed through the glass of a shop. Ladybug shouted, "Blue! No!"
Everyone was shocked and scared when they didn't see Blue moving. They looked back to the Indominus as she turned her sights back on the group. Echo, Charlie and Delta all screeched in anger for what the Indominus had done to their sister. Owen looked between all three Raptors before giving out a whistle, a signal to attack. All three sisters charged forward and split up when the Indominus Rex snapped her jaws at them. All three Velociraptors jumped up and managed to climb onto the hybrid dinosaur's back and started biting and clawing at her. The Indominus started stomping around and tried to shake off the three Raptors on her back.
Ladybug joined the others and said to Claire, "Get them to safety.
"Kappa, you go with them just to be on the safe side." She told the older Miraculous holder. Kappa nodded in understanding and the group that couldn't fight carefully made their way around the battle. As she swung her tail about, the Indominus managed to destroy a few displays of the resort. Ladybug looked to Owen and Cat Noir, "Let's finish this here and now."
Both boys nodded in agreement and Owen picked up his gun. They carefully walked around the stomping Indominus and Owen took a shot when he knew that he wouldn't hit any of his girls.
The others ran for a shop and jumped through the window. Claire and Kappa let the teens go in first before Claire jumped in herself. Kappa took a look back at the battle before climbing in herself.
Owen fired shot after shot when he had a clear view of the Indominus' head. But he had to stop when the Indominus moved to where the three of the Raptor Squad were in the line of fire. Sticking his staff on the ground, Cat Noir pole vaulted towards the Indominus and gave her a swift kick that sent her staggering a few feet. Owen took a moment to duck down behind some amber and reload his gun. Meanwhile, Ladybug threw her yo-yo forward and it wrapped around the Indominus' muzzle. It proved to be a bit of a mistake however when Ladybug yelped when she was yanked off her feet. The Indominus managed to grab one of the Raptors on her back and toss her to the ground. Echo came crashing down to the ground and thrashed about to get back up. She screeched when she was back on her feet before rushing back into the fray.

Inside the shack, everyone cringed when they heard the screeches, growls and roars from the battle outside. Kappa looked to Gray and saw that he was counting, "Twenty-four, fifty."
"Worry, not young one. They will win." Kappa said to comfort him. But Gray shook his head, "It's not that. They're not enough. We need more?"
"More?" Chloe asked, not understanding. Even Claire was confused when she looked to her nephew and questioned, "More what?"
"Teeth." Gray said. Alya seemed to know what he was talking about and said, "Even with the six of them out there, they're facing off against a large predator. I think he's saying need to even the odds a bit."
"Isn't there a predatory dinosaur close by that could help us?" Nino asked. Chloe seemed to brighten up when she nodded, "There is! And to think we just saw her only a few hours ago."
Claire instantly knew who they were talking about and stood from where she was crouching. She grabbed a radio and a flare from a stand and a first aid kit. She looked to them and said, "Okay, so everyone just wait right here."
"I don't think you have to worry." Alya said and they cringed from the gun shots. Claire peeked out of the shack and saw the fight still going on. She quickly climbed out and started running for where she needed to go.
Owen happened to glance in the direction of the shack and was shocked to see Claire running towards one of the alleys. But he didn't have time to wonder as he looked back to see one of his girls jump onto the Indominus again. Ladybug's yo-yo lost its grip on the Indominus' snout and she cried out when she fell to the ground. Luckily for her, Cat Noir leapt at the right time to catch her before she could hit the ground. Owen turned and started shooting again. The bullets hit the Indominus in the side and it made her roar in great pain. But when she jostled, it caused Delta to slip a little and the Indominus was able to grab a hold of her. With a quick motion of her hand, she tossed Delta through the window of a restaurant and she crashed through some furniture. Owen very worried for her, had to move out of the way when the Indominus' tail came swinging towards him. He managed to get out of the way and her tail crashed into an amber display. Her swinging tail swatted both Echo and Charlie back to the steps of the Innovation Center. Owen raised his gun and tried shooting again, but became worried when the weapon had run out of ammo.
Ladybug quickly threw her yo-yo forward and it wrapped around the Indominus' legs. The Indominus was starting to trip up a little and Cat Noir followed by extending his staff to where it hit her in the side. The Indominus roared as she fell to the ground with a thud. But she quickly snapped her jaws around the string of the yo-yo and tugged. Ladybug once again yelped as she was pulled off her feet. Cat Noir shouted, "Ladybug!"
Ladybug managed to maneuver herself to where she landed on her feet and quickly untangled her yo-yo. The Indominus took the opportunity to pick herself back up and growled when she swatted her tail at Owen and Cat Noir. Both boys ducked down and a clawed hand grabbed Cat Noir. Cat Noir struggled in her grasp and cried out when she squeezed a little. Owen shouted as he was lifted off his feet, "Cat Noir!"
The Indominus held Cat Noir close to her and Ladybug rejoined Owen. They watched in horror when the Indominus held Cat Noir to where she could see him. The cat-themed hero was nervous himself as he didn't know what she was going to do. The Indominus remembered when she had found Cat Noir earlier and remembered that he was the blonde-haired human earlier. Ladybug shouted, "Give him back!"
The Indominus roared in defiance and held Cat Noir even closer. Owen looked to Ladybug and questioned, "Why is she holding Cat Noir hostage?"
"Maybe she just really likes cats?" Cat Noir suggested with a strain as he couldn't move his arms to free himself.
From the top of the Innovation Center, Hawk Moth had hidden himself to avoid being spotted. But he managed to see everything from his vantage point. The Indominus' actions greatly confused him as well. An idea came to him and he quietly said, "Perhaps the Indominus knows more than she's letting on. Who knows what she has learned since her new found freedom."
He looked about and saw his akuma still fluttering about. Feeling the negative emotions emanating from the Indominus, he willed his akuma to get closer.
Back on the ground, Ladybug tried to think of something to free Cat Noir. But her mind was completely drawing a blank. The Indominus suddenly came closer and turned before smacking Ladybug away with her tail. The heroine screamed as she flew through the air before tumbling along the ground. Owen quickly turned and ran into the shack with the others. Looking to Kappa he said, "We might want a forcefield right about now."
"On it." Kappa agreed with a nod. Lifting his hands he shouted, "Shelter!"
A green dome of energy appeared over everyone and they looked back just as the Indominus lowered her head to the window. Everyone screamed when she used her free hand to start ripping the building apart. The Indominus' claws scrapped against the side of the forcefield and created an ear-splitting sound. Everyone covered their ears from the harsh noise and it made Kappa lose focus. Everyone looked in fear when the dome vanished and jumped when the Indominus' free hand started grabbing for them. Everyone backed away to the furthest wall to keep out of the reach of her claws. The Indominus' claws narrowly missed the group before sliding back on the concrete. Owen and Kappa placed a hand in front of the teens to try and protect them.

Elsewhere in the resort, Claire ran through the alley and started nearing a door. She lifted the radio up and contacted the one person she could help, "Lowery, are you still there?"
"Hey, where are you guys?" She heard him ask. But Claire didn't have time to explain and said, "I need you to open Paddock Nine! Like, right now."
"Paddock Nine? Are you kidding me?" Lowery asked, sounding very worried and that it might be a bad idea. Claire stopped at the door and waited for it to open. She looked back down the way she came and could hear the Indominus roaring from where she stood. She lifted the radio and said, "Darn it, Lowery, just be a man and do something for once in your life."
"Why do you have to go and make it personal?" Lowery asked and she threw her radio away and looked up to the camera beside the gate. A moment later she heard alarms buzzing and the gate started lifting up.
…
Inside the paddock, a large creature stirred when it heard the buzzing alarms. She lifted up off the ground and turned to the direction of the gate. She watched as it lifted off the ground. The large predator started stomping towards the opening gate and suddenly smelled something burning. She recognized the smell from years ago.

Claire ignited the flare and waited for the gate to fully open. She didn't have to wait long and could feel the tremors from each step that the T-Rex took. Claire hoped that the parks' oldest dinosaur would be enough to turn the tide of the battle. Claire would be lying if she said that she wasn't scared, but she didn't stay standing for very long and started backing up. She turned and ran as Rexy, the oldest T-Rex in the modern world, emerged from her paddock for the first time in years. Rexy gave a roar and started chasing after her.

Back with the group, they leaned back again when the Indominus tried to make a grab for them. This time one of her claws managed to snag onto Gray's fanny pack and started to drag him back. Everyone grabbed a hold of the boy as he screamed. Nino shouted, "Pull everybody!"
"No duh!" Chloe shouted as they all kept their grip. Zach noticed that the fabric of the fanny pack was starting to rip thanks to the sharpness of the hybrid's claw and he pulled on it to help it along. The strap snapped and they pulled Gray back into the safety of their arms.
The Indominus growled again as she lifted her free hand and started to tear at the roof over their heads. They all screamed as debris fell around them.
Outside the alley, Claire came running with the T-Rex right behind her. She ducked underneath the skeleton of a Spinosaurus before throwing the flare at the Indominus Rex. Both the Indominus Rex and Cat Noir looked as the flare hit her in the side before looking to see a figure approaching the gate. Even Ladybug was able to sit up and look at an amazing sight. Rexy smashed through the skeleton before letting out a roar at the Indominus.
The Indominus roared back as she stepped away from the shack where everyone was hiding at. Ladybug stood up and zipped her yo-yo to Claire who had fallen to the ground. She pulled her friend back out of harm's way and they both observed the two large dinosaurs. The Indominus growled at Rexy who only glared back at her. Claire saw Cat Noir stuck in the Indominus' grip and Ladybug moved to join Rexy in the fight. Ladybug twirled her yo-yo as she moved to stand side by side with the Tyrannosaur. Rexy glanced down to the heroine, but thankfully for Ladybug, she knew the bigger threat to her territory when she set her sights back on the Indominus Rex.
Everyone watched in amazement as both large dinosaurs roared at each other before they and Ladybug charged forward. Rexy was able to move out of the way of the Indominus' jaws before clamping her own into the hybrid's shoulder. The Indominus roared in pain. It seemed to make her grip on Cat Noir ease up a little. Ladybug quickly took the opportunity to throw her yo-yo at the Indominus' hand. It wrapped around the hybrid's thumb. With a yank on her yo-yo, Ladybug was able to give Cat Noir enough room to escape. Cat Noir was able to pull his arm free before grabbing onto the string of Ladybug's yo-yo. She got her weapon to unwind and pulled Cat Noir from the hybrid's grasp.
From her pained struggle with Rexy's jaws clamped on her shoulder, the Indominus happened to see Cat Noir getting away. But since both arms were free now, she was able to fight back. She started pushing Rexy back while the Tyrannosaur pressed on her attack. When Cat Noir was on his feet again, Ladybug said, "Let's give the oldest resident of Jurassic World a hand, Cat Noir."
"You know that I'd help anyone, Milady." Cat Noir winked and the two charged forward. Cat Noir pole vaulted towards the two battling titans and landed a kick to the Indominus' chest. It sent the hybrid dinosaur staggering back and Ladybug followed up with whipping her yo-yo. The Indominus moved back from the strike of the weapon and it allowed Rexy to smack into her side with her head.
The Indominus fought to keep standing and started fighting back when she managed to get a few small scratches in. She roared in pain when Rexy bit into the side of her neck and started shaking a little. Having had enough, the Indominus started clawing at Rexy's sides and it turned the tide of the fight between them as it caused Rexy to lose her grip. With a quick shove, she pushed Rexy back and ducked when Ladybug threw her yo-yo forward. Ladybug quickly brought her yo-yo back and Cat Noir tried attacking with his staff. He was a little late as she had lifted her foot and it came down on the staff. The moment seemed a little comical when Cat Noir started to strain in trying to reclaim his staff. He fell back when the Indominus lifted her foot and his weapon came loose.
Some of the street got destroyed between Rexy and the Indominus as the former's tail knocked over a lamp post and the latter crushed a bench under her foot. The Indominus shoved Rexy away and grabbed Ladybug's yo-yo in her teeth again before yanking the heroine off of her feet. Ladybug maneuvered through the air before landing on Rexy's back. The Tyrannosaur didn't seem to mind it much as she kept her attention on the white dinosaur in front of her. She came in and bit the hybrid's neck. The Indominus retaliated by biting the older dinosaur's neck and it made Rexy release her foe. But she moved out of the way of the Indominus' jaws again before grabbing the other side of her foe's neck and shook a little. Ladybug came in with a kick while spinning on Rexy's back.
The Indominus growled in anger and pain before swiping one of her clawed hands. A cut to Rexy's flank made her lose her grip on the Indominus again and the hybrid pushed her back with her head. The Indominus quickly turned and swung her tail at the T-Rexy. Rexy managed to duck her head down, but that wasn't what the Indominus was aiming for. Ladybug cried out when the hybrid's tail smacked into her and sent her flying into the wall of a building. Everyone who wasn't Rexy winced at the impact she made.
Ladybug landed on the ground and seemed a little woozy at first, but managed to shake it off. Cat Noir was about to run over to her, but saw something heading right for her. He shouted a warning, "Ladybug, look out!"
She happened to look up to see Hawk Moth coming down at her. Ladybug jumped out of the way and he crashed against the ground. The sound from the impact was enough to make both dueling dinosaurs to halt their fight to see what was happening. The Indominus narrowed her eyes at Hawk Moth. But the super villain only smirked when he glanced back to her, "I should be the least of your worries."
The Indominus seemed to register his words and glanced at Rexy with a growl. It seemed to put the Tyrannosaur on edge and the two started fighting once again. The two butted their heads together and started pushing. While the two dinosaurs were busy, Hawk Moth went on the attack by rushing forward and swinging his cane at her. Ladybug ducked under the weapon ad Cat Noir came to her aid. He blocked another swing of Hawk Moth's staff while Ladybug went in for a kick. Hawk Moth freed one his arms to catch the heroine's foot and the three found themselves in a bit of a stalemate.
From her spot on the ground, Claire noticed that the villain had his back turned to her. She saw a small but heavy looking bone from the ruined display. Carefully picking it up and rose off the ground, she threw it as hard as she could at villain. The bone hit Hawk Moth in the back and he stumbled forward. But it caused him to release Ladybug's foot and both she and Cat Noir retreated back a little. Hawk Moth did the same with a leap back. He looked back to Claire with a glare, "I'll be sure to leave a destructive review about the service around here."
"You're the one who started making the situation worse." Claire shot back before quickly moving out of the way when Rexy's foot came down. She hid behind the ruins of the Spinosaur skeleton stand. Hawk Moth quickly turned his attention back to the two heroes and they rushed forward.
The battle for Rexy was starting to turn against her when the Indominus used the claws on her longer arms to her advantage. She slashed at Rexy's neck and it made the T-Rex move back. But the Indominus didn't stop her onslaught by landing a few slashes when she pushed Rexy's head to the side. After a small scratch to the older dinosaur's snout. The Indominus grabbed a roaring Rexy's snout with both hands while burying her teeth into Rexy's right shoulder. Then with a quick move she tossed Rexy to the ground. Ladybug happened to see it happen and shouted, "No!"
But she nor Cat Noir couldn't help her as they avoided another strike from Hawk Moth. Rexy tried to get back up but with one hand the Indominus shoved her back down. She roared in pain when the Indominus bit into her neck. Claire watched in horror when the Indominus lifted Rexy by the neck with her jaws and dragged her to the shack where everyone was hiding. Inside the shack, Kappa suggested, "We may want to move."
They followed his advice and got away from the wall when Rexy's head came crashing through. They all screamed when her jaws came awfully close and snapped shut. The Indominus pulled her back out and Rexy responded with a kick to the Indominus' side. Owen, Kappa and the teens looked to see the old Tyrannosaur starting to get back up when the Raptor Trainer looked to Claire. She frantically shouted for them to, "Run!"
"Come on! Go!" Owen urged when the shack started to shake. Everyone quickly climbed out of the crumbling building. The Indominus was about to charge when Hawk Moth used his strength to toss Ladybug and Cat Noir into Rexy. The three of them fell onto the shack and brought it to the ground. Rexy gave a pained roar from where she lay while Ladybug and Cat Noir shakily tried to rise to their feet again.
While Owen and the teens all moved behind the display with Claire, Kappa remained in the open and prepared to fight. Hawk Moth started to approach the guardian of the Miraculous seeing that he wouldn't get past him if he created a shield while the Indominus made her way towards the downed three. Kappa knew a shield would protect them, but also knew that he wouldn't be able to maintain it for very long. But he would try to defend his chosen not only for the sake of their Miraculous, but for their holder's sakes as well.
Rexy, Cat Noir and Ladybug desperately tried to rise back up to defend themselves, but they were helpless as the Indominus and Hawk Moth came closer. But just as they were about to make one final attack, they heard a multitude of growls coming from behind the three fallen. Everyone, hero, villain and civilian alike all looked towards the Innovation Center and saw an amazing sight. They saw Blue, Echo, Delta and Charlie all racing down Main Street and let out angry snarls when they saw both the Indominus and Hawk Moth. The latter questioned, "What?!"
"Get 'em girls." Ladybug said with a smirk. Blue barked at Echo and Delta before barking at Charlie. The four seemed to divide their efforts as Blue and Charlie went after the Indominus while Delta ad Echo charged at Hawk Moth. Hawk Moth shielded himself with his cane when Delta leapt into the air and tackled right into him. Echo moved to help her sister while the downed villain tried to protect himself.
Blue and Charlie jumped onto Rexy's side before leaping at the Indominus Rex. The larger dinosaur tried to get them off by snapping her jaws at them, but both Raptors managed to move out of the way while she destroyed more of the resort as she flailed about. The Raptor Squad distracting the two allowed Kappa to run to Ladybug and Cat Noir's side. He helped them to stand on their feet and he said, "Those four are tougher than they look, but even they are going to need some help."
"You're right." Ladybug nodded in agreement. Cat Noir glanced back and said, "How about we give her hand back onto her feet."
"I like how you're thinking, Kitty." Ladybug smirked again and the three rushed to the T-Rex. Cat Noir put his staff into place while Kappa created a dome under her side as well. Ladybug pressed her back against Rexy's and the three started working to get her back onto her feet. Cat Noir extended his staff while Kappa gently caused his dome to expand a little. Rexy helped out too as she was able to get her feet underneath her before once again standing up. When she was ready to go, all four looked to the two separate battles. Rexy and Kappa charged for the Indominus while Ladybug and Cat Noir went after Hawk Moth.
The super villain managed to throw the two Raptors off of him before both Ladybug and Cat Noir came in with a kick to his back. The holder of the Butterfly Miraculous grunted when he fell to his knees. He looked back with a glare to see Ladybug, Cat Noir, Echo and Delta all standing together. As for the Indominus, she was still having a hard time against Blue and Charlie as the two kept biting her in the back. This allowed Rexy to come in and bit down on the Indominus' neck. She pushed the Indominus towards one of the buildings and both Blue and Charlie jumped to Rexy's back before the Indominus crashed into it. The Indominus was barely able to escape from Rexy's jaws before the Tyrannosaur bit down on both sides of her head and pulled her along. Blue and Charlie went on the attack again by jumping onto the Indominus' back and biting and clawing at it. Kappa protected the civilians by creating a shield to protect them from the debris.
"Man, this fight's really turning around." Nino said as he watched in amazement to how the heroes and dinosaurs were working well together. But at the back of the group, Lila was watching in disdain at how well Ladybug was holding her own in the fight. She happened to look up and see the final akuma fluttering about. The dark butterfly seemed to be heading right for her and she smirked when she knew what she had to do. She opened up her bag and the akuma silently slipped in behind the bystanders. It fluttered down to the beacon before disappearing into it.
The heroes had managed to knock both Hawk Moth and the Indominus Rex back. It was then that they felt a sudden connection between the two of them. A butterfly like mask appeared in front of both of their faces. This seemed to greatly confuse everyone until they quickly realized what was happening. A dark grin grew on Hawk Moth's face when he said, "Untamable Empress, I am Hawk Moth.
"You will be my greatest masterpiece in my quest to obtain Ladybug and Cat Noir's Miraculous." He said. Then pointing towards where the group was hiding he added, "And as a bonus, you'll be able to get revenge on all who have made you suffer since your birth."
The Indominus' eyes narrowed as it seemed like she was taking the deal. The dark aura spread over the hybrid dinosaur's body and the transformation began. Her shape began to straighten while shrinking a bit. The transformation was complete when the dark aura dissipated. What was in the Indominus' place was her, but she had more of a human-lime posture. She stood vertically with the buildings than she would horizontally with the ground. Around her body were tattered, brown, Amazon warrior like garments. One her wrists and ankles were bracelets with red jewels that went around them. Red war paint decorated her head, neck, arms, legs and tail. The Untamable Empress opened her eyes and observed her new body.
She lifted her arms to look at her new hands she saw that she had an extra finger on both. Inside she still felt the same, but the Indominus knew that she was no longer her ordinary self. The Untamable Empress opened her jaws and what they all heard come from her moth shocked everyone when she said with a booming voice, "The feeling of this new body is incredible.
"And now I will finish what I started for me and my dear sister." She snarled when she looked at the humans. Then bringing her hands close to her heart she added, "And when my vengeance here is complete, I shall reclaim the blonde human as my own."
This surprised and shocked everyone who knew what she was talking about. The most shocked was Hawk Moth. Even though he wouldn't let them see the look on his face, Hawk Moth became very worried about Adrien. He thought of removing his newest creation's powers, but he would risk losing a potential ally. The Untamable Empress seemed to notice the look on his face; regret. She chuckled and said, "You feel as if you shouldn't have given me this form. You feel that you would have spared yourself potential pain.
"Well, maybe you'll keep certain comments to yourself then, eh?" The Untamable Empress questioned with a growl. Ladybug looked to the villain and commented, "Maybe this'll make you think to avoid making stupid choices."
"I wouldn't be so quick to chase him away just yet." The akumatized dinosaur shot back at her. Ladybug looked up to Untamable Empress' face and the villain said, "You're going to need all the help you can get after all."
With a quick motion of her tail, she smacked Hawk Moth into the air and sent him flying into a building. Everyone winced from the sound of crashing coming from inside. Hawk Moth tried to rise back onto his feet, but ended up falling back down in pain from the blow. Everyone looked back and Ladybug jumped out of the way when the Indominus' hand came down at her. A hand shaped print and cracks appeared and the Untamable Queen lifted her hand again.
"It's useless to fight, Untamable Empress." Ladybug warned her. Gesturing to herself, Cat Noir, Rexy and the Raptor Squad she said, "Not against all of us. You're outnumbered."
"I may be outnumbered…" The Untamable Empress growled as she raised both clawed hands up. The akumatized hybrid dinosaur clenched her fists when she added, "But you all are out of your depth.
"I can't wait to tear you all apart!" She finished with narrowed eyes. Rexy roared in defiance before quickly rushing in and bit into the akumatized dinosaur's shoulder. The Untamable Empress growled in pain before she let out a chuckle, "It's not going to work so well this time, you ancient bag of bones."
She kneed Rexy in the gut and it made the Tyrannosaur lose her grip. With both hands, the Untamable Empress wrapped her hands around Rexy's throat before lifting her up into the air. The Tyrannosaur flailed her legs about to try and escape while her captor looked on with a dark grin. Ladybug rushed forward and threw her yo-yo around the akumatized dinosaur's legs. With a pull on the string she brought the Untamable Empress' legs closer and it made her lose her balance. The akumatized dinosaur cried out as she dropped Rexy and fell to the ground. Kappa acted quickly by lifting both hands and creating a barrier around Rexy as she fell to the ground. The barrier bounced a bit before coming to a stop. Kappa released the barrier and Rexy laid on the ground for a moment. Blue, Charlie, Echo and Delta all squawked at each other before rushing forward with a shriek. They leapt at the Untamable Empress and landed on her back or near her head. The four started scratching and biting at her. The Untamable Empress grunted in pain from each attack before shaking her new body. The Raptor Squad struggled to hang on, but when the akumatized hybrid dinosaur rose up on her feet, they lost their grip and fell off. Luckily for them, they didn't fall very far. The four Velociraptors quickly scrambled to get out of the way when the Untamable Empress' foot came down. While Blue, Delta and Echo were able to get out of the way in time, Charlie fell to the ground and looked up in fear. Blue screeched while Nino shouted, "Charlie, no!"
Kappa quickly threw his arms up and created a shield over the Raptor. Kappa strained to keep the Untamable Empress' foot from cracking the shield, "Hold on, little Raptor."
"Oh look, another old relic to the rescue." The akumatized hybrid dinosaur observed. She scoffed when she added, "How touching. Not."
With a quick motion of her tail, she slapped Kappa away. When he fell to the ground Kappa lost control of the shield and the hybrid's foot came down again. Ladybug quickly acted by throwing her yo-yo forward and it wrapped around Charlie. With a yank she pulled the Velociraptor to safety and the Untamable Empress' foot crashed into the ground. Charlie slid next to Ladybug who then quickly undid her yo-yo. She stepped back when Charlie's sisters ran up to check on her. Blue, Echo and Delta all barked and chirped at their younger sibling and Charlie tilted her head a bit when she responded.
"Uh, this is getting us nowhere." Cat Noir said when he joined Ladybug's side. Ladybug shook her head, "Unfortunately, without the akumatized object, we can't end this quick enough."
"And without a way to change me back, I could be here forever." Untamable Empress cackled before reaching down and grabbing a ruined lamp post. She ripped it from its spot before swinging it down at the six. Cat Noir stood on a ruined display and used his staff to block the strike. He strained from the pressure that she was applying and soon fell onto one knee. Ladybug frantically looked around for something that would help her and looked to Owen. She shouted, "Owen, don't suppose that you have something that could help?"
"Sorry, but I don't think that a gun would be of much use in this fight." Owen shrugged. But he seemed to get an idea when he looked at the four next to the two heroes, "But I do have a team."
He gave a whistle before motioning his head at the Untamable Empress. All four Raptors looked from him to the akumatized hybrid. They seemed to understand it enough before looking to the giant dinosaur with a screech. The Untamable Empress gestured to herself and questioned, "You really think you can take me on? Then bring it."
And the Raptor Squad brought it when they charged for her. Blue and Delta jumped out of the way when the akumatized hybrid swiped at them. Charlie and Echo veered in from the side and jumped on her outstretched arm. The Untamable Empress roared in pain when they started biting her while the other two attacked one of her legs. Ladybug looked to Cat Noir and said, "Let's see if we can distract her long enough."
"Right." He nodded before they rushed to help the Raptor Squad. While the six were currently fighting against the Untamable Empress, Owen, Claire and the teens rushed to help Kappa.
"You okay?" Owen asked when he kneeled down to the hero. Kappa groaned as he sat up, "Yes. But that was a bit of a hit."
"How are we supposed to stop this thing?" Zach questioned while the hero was helped to his feet. Alya shook her head, "Like Ladybug said, without the akumatized object…"
"The only other way for the transformation to be undone is if the Untamable Empress rejects her akuma." Kappa finished. But he observed the battle just when the four were pushed back. He observed Rexy who was still lying on the ground and then said, "If only we knew of an item that the Indominus would have had."
"Like her tracker or something?" Claire shrugged, unable to think of something else. Kappa nodded, "If only we knew what Hawk Moth's akuma had hit. But it could be anything?"
"What if it really was the tracker?" Alya suggested to them. They looked to the teen and she asked, "Is there any way to reactivate it?"
The question seemed to make Lila tense up in the back. She looked to her bag and thought of the tracker inside it. Alya asked Claire, "Can it be done?"
"Uh, maybe." Claire shrugged as she didn't know. She took out her phone and was about to dial the number to contact Lowery again.
But back with the fight, the Untamable Empress had knocked everyone back and slammed one of her hands down on Ladybug. Ladybug struggled to escape from the akumatized hybrid's grip but couldn't break free. Cat Noir, seeing his lady in trouble, raised his right hand and shouted, "Cataclysm!"
The destructive energy filled his palm and he slammed his hand on the pavement. Large cracks stretched from the hero and it made just about everyone stumble. Lila ended up falling to the ground and her bag hit the ground. The deactivated beacon came tumbling out of it and landed a few feet away from the group. When the attack subsided, Cat Noir saw that the Untamable Empress' hand had lifted off of Ladybug. He quickly rushed to her aid and quickly pulled her out of the way. They both had to jump when she tried swiping at them again. The akumatized hybrid dinosaur looked to the heroes and questioned, "Is that all you got? I was hoping for more of a challenge."
"Well, how about a…" Ladybug countered. She threw her yo-yo up into the air and shouted, "Lucky Charm!"
The ladybugs appeared once again before coming together to form a Jurassic World jacket. Everyone became confused by this, even Rexy who was just starting to get up. The Untamable Empress started chuckling before full on laughing at how ridiculous this was looking. She was even joined by Chloe who couldn't help but laugh as well. Those next to her gave her a look and she quickly noticed. She shrugged when she questioned, "What? Among Ladybug's Lucky Charms, this is kind of the silliest."
"Oh, I must agree with her." The akumatized hybrid said as she kept laughing. Gray happened to look behind him and saw something laying underneath a table that didn't look like it belonged. Gray quickly made his way over and Zach happened to notice this. He questioned, "Gray, what are you doing?"
"I found something." Gray responded and made it to the object. Lila happened to look where Gray was going and gasped when she saw the beacon under the table. Even though she might get yelled at, Lila still screamed, "Gray, get away from that thing!"
It seemed to draw the Untamable Empress' attention away and she looked to the boy. Gray had just picked up the beacon and gasped when he saw that all eyes were on him. Ladybug quickly took a closer look at the beacon in his hands and noticed that it looked a lot different than she had seen it earlier. The Untamable Empress growled and started to turn. Ladybug then shouted, "Gray! Break the beacon!"
"Huh?" Gray asked and looked at the thing in his hands. Owen shouted, "It's the object with the akuma in it. Break it and this thing ends much quicker."
"Give me that, you little-" The Untamable Empress roared as she started to walk down the street. But before she could get very far, a roaring Rexy came charging forward and knocked the akumatized hybrid into another building. The Untamable Empress roared in pain when the Tyrannosaur sank her teeth into her shoulder. Cat Noir quickly jumped up behind the akumatized hybrid and stretching his staff before using it to keep the Untamable Empress back. The Untamable Empress tried struggling against the two, but Ladybug was quick to wrap her yo-yo around her left wrist and tried to keep it from moving. The four Raptors charged forward and tried to keep the akumatized villain's tail from moving.
"Hurry, Gray!" Chloe shouted to the boy. Gray brought the beacon high over his head before throwing it hard against the wall of a building. It smacked into the wall as the Untamable Empress roared, "NO!"
The glass of the beacon shattered and the pieces fell to the ground. From the remains the akuma came fluttering out of it. Claire shouted to the heroine, "Ladybug! The akuma's all yours!"
"Thanks guys!" Ladybug said with a grin before removing the yo-yo from its grip on the hybrid. Then she assumed her throwing pitch after opening the yo-yo, "It's time to be de-evilized, little akuma."
She threw the yo-yo forward and was able to catch the akuma in one swoop. She caught the yo-yo when she pulled it back, "Gotcha!
"Bye-bye, little butterfly." She waved goodbye when she opened the yo-yo back up. The little white butterfly flew up into air. Quickly retrieving the Lucky Charm, Ladybug threw it up into the air and shouted, "Miraculous Ladybug!"
The Lucky Charm turned back into ladybugs and they got to work fixing everything that the Untamable Empress wrecked. The walls were built back up, the cracks were filled and everyone who had been hurt were healed, though a few scars here and there would show. The dark aura appeared over the Untamable Empress before she reverted back to her original form. The Indominus Rex once again stood in the world and looked a little confused about what just happened. Cat Noir joined Ladybug and said, "Well, looks like another job well done."
"Job's not done yet, Kitty." Ladybug shook her head and pointed to the Indominus Rex. The hybrid dinosaur seemed to remember the fact that she was in a fight for her life and roared at Rexy, the heroes and the Raptor Squad. The seven charged towards the Indominus again while everyone tried to keep a good distance from the fight. They ducked through a gift shop to avoid being stomped on. They had to stop running when Blue, Cat Noir and Delta came crashing through a window. Everyone looked outside to see Ladybug, Rexy, Charlie and Echo still going at it with the Indominus Rex. The three in front of them got back on their feet before rushing out of the room and jumping onto the Indominus again and joined Ladybug and the other two Raptors in the attack.
Everyone moved to the opening of the shop to watch the fight. The Indominus had managed to inflict wounds on the dinosaurs again while Cat Noir and Ladybug mostly had a bruise or two. The hybrid managed to knock the heroes and the Raptors away while Rexy shoved her into a building across the street. The Indominus roared in pain from the shrapnel before Rexy grabbed her head again with her jaws and they destroyed more of the building. Nino looked to Alya and Gray, "So much for Ladybug's Lucky Charm, huh?"
"Pretty much." They both agreed with a nod. The Indominus pushed Rexy away when both Ladybug and Cat Noir came in with a kick to her side. It sent the hybrid staggering back while the four Velociraptors jumped onto her back and started biting again. She was able to shake them off and they rushed away after picking themselves up. The Indominus was caught off guard when Rexy grabbed her by the jaws and with a quick turn of her body she tossed the hybrid to the ground. The hybrid dinosaur managed to kick Rexy away a little, but Blue quickly pounced on her face and started to claw it while the other three Raptors jumped onto her exposed left flank. The Indominus got back onto her feet and tried to shake the four off when Rexy went on the attack again by shoving her head down. The Indominus thrashed about and Rexy grabbed onto her neck with her jaws. The Indominus was able to pull herself from Rexy's grasp and shoved her away. Then with a quick swing of her head she sent Blue flying and shook her body to where Echo, Charlie and Delta fell off. They scrambled out of the way to avoid being crushed underfoot. Ladybug, Cat Noir and Rexy suddenly came in with a couple kicks and a shove to knock the hybrid back. The blows sent the Indominus crashing into the fence of the lagoon.
The Indominus groaned in pain while the seven moved in to corner her. The Indominus managed to pick herself up and shook off the pain and blood that was coating her scales. Everyone prepared themselves for another attack when she roared in defiance at them with a half moon behind her. Everyone but the Indominus Rex was greatly surprised when the Mosasaurus came leaping out of the lagoon with her jaws open wide. The Mosasaur clamped her jaws down on the Indominus and it knocked her off her feet. Even Hawk Moth, who had woken up had come out of the ruined restaurant to see what was happening saw it. The Indominus screeched in pain from the pressure and tried to kick the aquatic dinosaur off of her. But the Mosasaur's grip on her throat was too great and the bigger reptile started to move back into the lagoon. The Indominus gave Cat Noir a pleading look and his gaze softened a bit. But it was too late for the Indominus when the Mosasaur dragged her over the edge and into the water. The Indominus gave out one last roar before she was dragged under. And thus, the Indominus Rex was no more as the Mosasaur gave a loud bellow from beneath the water.
Everyone, even those who hadn't been fighting, were breathing heavy from the ordeal that they had been a part of. Owen happened to look back from where they were standing and saw the supervillain standing there. He glared when he questioned, "You seriously going to try your hand again, Hawk Moth."
What he said made everyone look back to the villain. Hawk Moth looked ready to fight, but when he saw Rexy and the Raptor Squad stand protectively in front of Ladybug and Cat Noir he knew better. He glared at the two when he vowed, "Make no mistake, Ladybug and Cat Noir. I will one day get your Miraculous."
But he quickly made a run for it when he started jumping away. When they were sure that he was gone, everyone seemed to breath a little easier. The Raptor Squad all moved to nuzzle Cat Noir. He chuckled from the attention he was given. Cat Noir glanced to Ladybug and said, "Why can't you give me this kind of attention, Bugaboo."
"For that reason right there." Ladybug shot back with a grin. She let out a startled yelp when Rexy came in from the side and licked her in the face. Cat Noir and the others hiding in the gift shop laughed from the attention that she was given. Rexy then started nuzzling Ladybug and almost knocked her down. Ladybug laughed a little before turning and gently rubbed the side of her muzzle, "Easy there, girl. You're more than welcome."
Rexy then backed away before looking at the four Velociraptors. The Raptor Squad sensed the Tyrannosaurus Rex looking at them and they stepped away from Cat Noir. The dinosaurs seemed to stare intensely at each other before both Rexy and Blue seemed to understand each other. The two gave low growls before the T-Rex of Isla Nublar turned and walked away. When they were sure that the larger predator was gone, Owen stepped away from the others in the gift shop. Everyone watched as the Raptor Squad turned to him and Blue tilted her head. Owen just shook his own and the Raptor Squad looked to each other with chirps. The four then started running down Main Street with a screech from them all. Everyone walked up to Ladybug and Cat Noir and watched as the four disappeared into the wilds of Isla Nublar.
Both Ladybug and Cat Noir's Miraculous started beeping. Looking to everyone Ladybug said, "Thanks for your help, everyone."
"But we got to bounce now." Cat Noir said with a grin. Ladybug extended her hand to Kappa and said, "Care to catch a ride with us, Kappa?"
"It would be my pleasure, Ladybug." Kappa nodded and took her head. Cat Noir extended his staff and was the first to leave. Kappa held onto Ladybug when she threw her yo-yo to a building. She looked to the group and winked, "Bug out."
With a yank from her yo-yo, she and Kappa zipped off and went after Cat Noir. Everyone watched as the three disappeared into the night. Zach leaned to his aunt and Gray and said, "You know, I really think that those two are meant for each other."
"No way." Alya shook her head. They looked to her and she said, "Ladybug has made it very clear that she doesn't like Cat Noir that way."
"Well, you never know." Owen shrugged with a grin.

They landed on a roof and looked about to make sure that there were no eyes on them. the cat-themed super hero turned to them and said with a grin, "Well, I guess this is where we should part ways."
"Looks like it, Cat Noir." Ladybug said and a thought crossed her mind. Cat Noir turned to go, but stopped when she said, "Cat Noir."
He turned to her and she said, "I do apologize about earlier. About you being here."
"I'm sorry too." Cat Noir agreed. Then he suggested with a shrug, "Maybe the next time that one of us has to go somewhere, we let the other know?."
"I think that would be a great idea." Ladybug agreed with a nod. Cat Noir gave her a salute and said, "Whelp, see you guys back in Paris."
"You too, Kitty." Ladybug waved. Kappa bowed his head, "Farewell, Cat Noir."
Cat Noir then turned and took his leave. Ladybug and Kappa watched him go before they too jumped off the building. They landed in a spot that seemed to be shelter and Ladybug said, "Tikki, Spots Off!"
"Wayzz, Shell Off!" Kappa followed. A flash of green and pink later, revealed both Marinette and Master Fu standing in the ruins of Jurassic World. Tikki and Wayzz both floated to their respective holders and looked to each other with a smile. Master Fu looked to Marinette and said, "You go and rejoin your friends. I will see the both of you back in Paris."
"Thank you, Master Fu." Marinette smiled before turning and running down an alley. Master Fu watched her go with a smile before turning in a different direction.
As she ran, Marinette opened up her purse and Tikki flew into it. When Tikki was safely hidden, Marinette went full speed to catch up to the others.

Cat Noir landed in his own secluded section and stood up. He raised his arms and said, "Plagg, Claws In!"
A flash of green and Adrien lowered his arms. Plagg floated up to him and whined, "Uh, sure wish that I had some Camembert right about now."
"Don't worry, Plagg." Adrien said with a grin. He opened up his over shirt and said, "I'll be sure to get you some when we get back home."
"Uh, fine." Plagg playfully whined before hiding himself. Adrien then started running to get back to the others.

Hawk Moth landed not too far from where the other tourists were. He was indeed upset over the failure of his plans to capture Ladybug, Cat Noir and Kappa's Miraculous, but knew that he needed to calm down to avoid any suspicion from anyone. He uttered the command, "Nooroo, Dark Wings Fall."
A flash of purple and he returned to Gabriel after a full day of being transformed. Nooroo looked absolutely exhausted from the whole thing. Thankfully, Gabriel wasn't a cruel master as he had reserved a piece of a food for his Kwami. Nooroo humbly took it. When he finished, Gabriel ordered, "Make yourself hidden, Nooroo. We're about to rejoin the others as they flee from this doomed park."
"Yes, Master." Nooroo sadly said before hiding himself away. Gabriel then looked about before walking to meet up with the other tourists.
