Apologies for how long you had to wait for this chapter.

Roy's excitement filled his heart, as the adrenaline that flowed into his upper legs began to send the musician's lower body into overdrive. Before long, Roy quickly dashed toward the source.

"Follow me!" he called.

Inteleon rolled his eyes as Louis and Taki shook their heads. They rounded corners and traversed alleys in pursuit of the young musician, now at a near sprint.

"Hey, slow down!" yelled Louis.

A bystander watched the party of humans and Pokémon running after their friend. The sight of the group reminded them of earlier days of adventure, and the unbridled energy of youth.

"Oh, to be young again," he mused.

Finally, Roy skidded to a halt.

The Cafè De La Cruz bustled with activity, the early afternoon crowd in their usual spots, eager for the first batch of the establishment's famed toasted sandwiches.

Eventually, the rest of Roy's friends caught up to him, huffing and puffing in exhaustion.

"Why didn't you wait for us?!" scolded Taki.

"Sorry, I couldn't help it," replied Roy. "It's just-...just..."

"Come on, man. Spit it out," said Louis.

– "Look!"

The couple sat with numerous others, at multiple tables, sharing a laugh at some previous altercation being shared by the male, a well-tanned, mountain of a man.

When another table's occupant mentioned something that appeared to be funny, the large man began to laugh. Very loudly. The volume of the laughter was so loud and booming that the surrounding area began to rock along the concrete floor, and even some shops with display items began to rattle and shake. The circle of friends could feel the vibrations of the earth's crust.

"Wowzers. He's got a big laugh," said Louis.

Ikaikai laughed again and gestured to his wife. Della had a face that never stopped smiling, and as the first plate of hot sandwiches arrived, her grin only widened.

"There they are," grinned Roy.

"Um...who are they?" questioned Louis.

– "My parents."

Without warning, Roy trotted toward the line of tables. His friends trailed from behind.

Before the father took his first bite of the sandwich, he overheard a familiar voice say,

"I see you've gotten louder since last time."

Goosebumps rose up on Ikaikai's arms. He slowly turned his head, along with his upper body, to the individual who spoke. The man blinked.

"ROY!"

Ikaikai immediately jumped up from his seat and ran toward his son. He wrapped Roy in a monstrous bear-like hug, forcing the air from his lungs momentarily.

"*wheeze* Hey...Dad," gasped Roy.

The mother, Della, spun to the two men. Her eyes sparkled with delight as she ran toward the duo.

"Look at you, thin as a rake," she said. "You didn't tell us you'd be coming home."

"Heh, I wanted to surprise you two," explained Roy.

The gang watched on as Roy reunited with his parents.

"They seem pretty nice," said Taki.

After what felt like an eternity, Ikaikai relaxed his grip around Roy and gently placed him back on his feet.

"You still playing the guitar I gave you?" he asked.

"Yeah, thanks to my friends," responded Roy.

"Oh, you mean Louis and Taki. Right?" inquired Della.

Then, out the corner of her eye, Della spotted the party nearby.

"Hey, is that them over there?" she asked, pointing to the party.

"Yeah, it is," answered Roy.

The musician turned a heel and spun to face his friends.

"Yo, guys," he called. "You don't have to stand there. Come over."

Upon instruction, the two humans took their first steps toward the Hunter family. Their teams of Pokémon followed suit.

"Alola Taki, Louis," the father greeted. "I'm Ikaikai, good to meet you."

"And I'm Della," the mother introduced. "We've learned a lot about you two."

"You have? How?" asked Taki

"From Roy's letters...he's quite descriptive," explained Ikaikai.

Louis' eyes shifted to Roy. He grinned before returning his focus to the musician's parents.

"There are some spare tables for you guys," said Della. "Why don't you join us?"

The group sat, while the Hunter parents ate, almost as a complete family. For some, a fond memory kindling, sparking recollections of home. For others, the ambience of the town, this cafe, and these people, bought a much-needed soothing of the soul with their laughter.

"So, what brings you here?" asked Ikaikai.

"We're on a World Excursion," explained Louis. "We'll be visiting a number of regions around the world."

"Was Alola your first stop?" inquired Della.

"Yep. Unfortunately, we had to go through that darn storm," groaned Taki.

"It didn't look like a natural one from here..." said Ikaikai.

"Why do you say that?" wondered Louis.

– "When we caught sight of it, the formation of the clouds looked quite strange. Almost as if...the Ultra Beasts were returning."

The three friends blinked twice, in confusion.

"Ultra what?" said Roy, baffled.

"Ultra Beasts. Some of them suddenly appeared after the first-ever Alolan League ahead finished. Some kid named Ash Ketchum ended up winning it."

That name. It sounded familiar to the young adult.

"Um...who's Ash? asked Louis.

"All we know of him is that he's from somewhere in the Kanto region," responded Ikaikai.

The air fell silent as various previous incidents played in each mind. However, Della spoke up.

"Anyway...Roy's told us that you two are quite close to your Pokémon," she said.

"That's one way of putting it, yes," replied Taki.

"Mm-hmm," added Louis. "We've been together for over six years. Or...rather..., Taki has. I was in a rough spot for some time, which caused me to distance myself from my Pokémon. It's something I'm not proud of."

The young adult shook the shadows plaguing his mind.

"I'm making up for it, though," he said.

"Ah, I see," responded Della.

"And...there's another reason we're quite close, but it's hard to explain," added Louis.

Quickly, Taki gently elbowed Louis, signalling him to not continue.

"Eh...scratch that," he said.

Staring at the duo, Roy figured that this would be the perfect time to explain his carefully thought plan.

"Um...give us a sec?" he said.

The musician signalled for his two friends to follow him so he can speak in private.

"Hey. I've thought of a way you can say you two can talk to Pokémon, without revealing the real reason," he began.

"What do you mean?" inquired Taki.

– "Y'know, a cover? A disguise?"

Taking a moment to absorb the suggestion, Louis locked eyes with the musician, curious of what his friend had planned.

"What do you have in mind?" asked Louis.

"I was thinking that you two could say that...you're linguists," answered Roy.

"Linguists?" blurted Taki.

"In Pokémon Language?" added Louis.

Roy nodded to both questions.

Louis sighed and said, "Roy, I don't think they'd believe that."

"Well, I didn't have much time to think before," Roy pointed out. "Professor Kukui saw you both talking to Azul."

The two trainers' hearts skipped a beat.

"Yeah," added Roy. "If you two are gonna be speaking to your Pokémon a lot when we're on this trip, maybe you should use this story for cover if anyone asks."

Both of the individuals had a quiet discussion with one another, making sure Roy didn't hear them. They went back and forth in working out the pros and cons of this excuse. Eventually, they worked out the solution and returned to face their musician friend.

"Alright Roy, we'll use that story," said Taki.

"Not like we have a choice at this point," continued Louis.

Soon after, the three humans returned to the family and Pokémon gathering. Louis and Taki watched on as Roy consumed his third filling of sandwiches.

"Geez Roy, were those Malasadas we had earlier not filling enough for you?" questioned Louis.

"I don't know when I'll get to come back here," the musician answered.

"Well, don't blame us if you have a stomachache," said Taki.

Roy smiled with a mouthful of food.

– "Oh, it'll be worth it"

The Hunter parents chuckled at their child's antics. Then, they turned their attention to all three of them.

"So, how long are you all staying here?" asked Ikaikai.

"I think it's...for about two days," answered Louis, uncertain of the answer.

"Well, do you have any place to stay while you're here?" offered Della.

Roy swallowed his mouthful of food and turned to his parents.

"Uh..." he paused.

He then shrugged with a grin on his face and said, "...no?"

Suddenly, without warning, Roy fell face-first into his half-eaten meal. The sounds of muffled snoring rang out from the individual.

"...did he just fall asleep?!" said Inteleon, surprised.

Della sighed, "I thought he'd grown out of this."

The mother lightly shook her unexpectedly slumbering son.

"He's done this before?" wondered Taki.

"All the time when he was a boy," the mother answered.

"That's strange. He's never done that when we've hung out," said Louis.

"Maybe it has something to do with jet lag," suggested Della.

"Or yacht-lag," replied Louis.

"Is that a thing?" said Taki.

– "Dunno."

Hours later, the party joined the family at the Hunter residence, their house consisting of hard-oak wood painted a shade of cyan, grey roof tiles laid out on top of the structure, and a small number of exotic palm trees surrounding the home.

It sat in an idyllic, peaceful bay.

The trio of friends, and their Pokémon, stood on the outside balcony and watched the sunset on the horizon.

"Just as good as a sunrise," said Braixen.

Meanwhile, after a shuffling of furniture in the lounge room, Della had prepared the space into a guest room. Roy looked over his shoulder and witnessed her efforts.

"Wait, Mom, I'll give you a hand," he called as he went back inside.

As they continued watching the spectacle, Taki turned to her friend.

"So, any idea where our next stop is?" she asked.

The young adult pondered the question. He had never thought of what the group would be doing once they departed from the Alola Region.

'I wish we had a schedule,' he said, internally.

He then returned his focus to his female friend.

"We'll probably head down to the docks at first light and find out from there," he suggested.

As the house fell silent, the moon rose high into the sky, and the ocean surface glittered in the moonlight. The Hunter residence rested as one.

Most humans and Pokémon slept silently, while some snored. However, Incineroar began to toss and turn in his temporary sleeping arrangements. He couldn't help shaking a dreadful and cold feeling from his subconscious. His eyes shot open as he sat upward.

The fire-cat wrestler tip-toed past his slumbering friends, not wanting to accidentally awaken them. He carefully opened the portal leading to the outside balcony. A buffeting of the coastal winds shook a nearby door, drawing his attention.

Air.

Fresh air.

With whatever stealth he could incorporate, Incineroar gently shut the door and walked closer to the ledge. He took a deep breath, hoping to calm himself. The seas were rough tonight. Distant white-capped waves shone in the wake of their violent passing.

The cool wind brushed through Incineroar's fur. His thoughts soon became crystal clear.

"Come on, Incineroar. Just because you saw another Incineroar do great in a battle doesn't mean you're any different," he said, silently.

But then, a small shadow of doubt began to make its presence known.

'But what if you really aren't as good as the others?' he internally said. 'Then, you'd probably be nothing more than dead-weight to the team.'

The fire-cat wrestler tried to block the shreds of doubt.

"I am as good as them."

'You're not.'

Incineroar scrunched his face in his claws.

"Ugh! Stop it!" he growled, as quietly as he could.

The stubborn, dark thoughts would not leave his train of thought. The voice in his head continued to mercilessly diminish the fire-cat wrestler's confidence.

Then, one question appeared in Incineroar's gears of thought.

"...is Louis even proud of what I do?" he muttered.

Inside, Taki stirred. The sound of a voice talking from outside burst her dream bubble, and she sat up in her sleeping bag. She caught a glimpse of a shadowy figure outside on the balcony. She gently stepped toward the door, glancing over at Louis and Roy, where the latter snored loudly. She rolled her eyes and peered through the little window linked to the door. The shadow's resemblance was enough for Taki to know who exactly it was.

She grabbed the doorknob and twisted.

Incineroar still couldn't expel the inner demons of his subconscious.

"Incineroar?" a voice from behind said.

The fire-cat wrestler jumped in freight. Startled, he turned around to see one of his human friends. Taki.

The wind swept her long, black hair.

"Taki?" blurted Incineroar.

The girl gently closed the portal behind her and stepped toward the Pokémon.

"What are you doing out here?" she asked, concerned. "It's the middle of the night."

Incineroar sighed.

"I couldn't sleep."

Taki took one look at Incineroar's facial features and immediately noticed that something was wrong.

"You have a troubled look on your face, what's the matter?" she asked.

The fire-cat Pokémon looked away from the girl.

"I don't think you'd understand," he said.

– "So then, help me understand."

Taking time to muster up his confidence, Incineroar finally aired his internal feelings.

"Back when we saw the footage of the Pokémon league earlier today, I was watching a small part of a battle between another Incineroar and a Torracat," he began. "And while I was watching it, I began to have these...thoughts."

Taki raised an eyebrow.

"For example?" she inquired.

Incineroar took in a deep breath before responding.

"I was beginning to question if..." he paused. "...if I was good enough to be on Louis' team."

Taki's eyes widened.

"W-...why would you think that?" she questioned.

"Because...I'm not sure if I'm as good as the other Pokémon. And...I don't know if Louis is even proud of what I do."

"That's absurd," said Taki. "I'm sure Louis and the others are happy with what you do."

"Besides, you did help him win the tournament years ago," she added.

"I know, but...there was that one battle where I was made unable to battle when Louis let his opponent temporarily use Marowak for the match," explained Incineroar. "I mean, how am I supposed to feel about that?"

Taki stared at the Pokémon with a mixture of shock and sadness.

"Okay look, I know I'm not the strongest on the team. I mean, look at Azul," said Incineroar.

"What's that got to do with anything?" questioned Taki. "Look at me, do you think I'm strong?"

The girl, small and minuscule in comparison to the big, muscular Incineroar, met the examination of said Pokémon.

"Of course I think you're strong," he said.

– "But I'm not masculine like you," Taki pointed out.

"I mean, you're a different kind of strong."

"Well, can't you just take your own advice?"

Incineroar fell silent.

"My entire being is built on raw strength..."

He closed his eyes.

"...without it, I'm nothing."

Taki stared out to sea.

"I know you feel like that now, and I understand you..." she paused.

"...but the fact you are questioning your strength, this doubt doesn't come from a place of weakness."

Incineroar grumbled, silently, as Taki turned to face him.

"Your ability to self-identify this, means you have the most important strength, the means to change"

She looked him in the eyes.

"I can sense change in you."

A rogue wave peaked and capped in the turbulent currents outside the bay.

Incineroar took his time to respond.

"Taki, go get some rest. I'll be inside in a minute."

The girl turned toward the balcony door.

"And also...thanks," he added.

The sun rose on the Hunter household, a warm, welcoming light after the cool evening's dark.

Even with a small crack of daylight shining through the closed window blinds, the guests slumbering in the living room remained asleep.

DEET-DEET-DEET-DEET

Louis rapidly sat up from his sleeping arrangements and gasped in fright. He groaned as Roy's Rotom Dex levitated above the group, with an image of an alarm clock displayed on the screen.

"Aw, why did you wake me up?" grumbled Louis.

"You said you wanted to head to the docks at first light BZZT," replied Roy's Rotom Dex. "Well, it's first light."

Then, the electronic device began zipping around the room, with its built-in alarm still ringing.

"Rise and shine, everybody!" it cheered. "Come on, everyone up!"

Taki and the gathering of Pokémon were awakened by the beeping, slightly annoyed. Incineroar had a pillow on top of his head and remained still. Before it could continue zipping and zooming, Roy grabbed his Rotom Dex, where it flailed its arms. He sat up and stared at the red device.

"Do you have to be so loud...?" he groaned, rising from his makeshift guest bed.

The musician retrieved his glasses from a nearby table and placed them on the bridge of his nose and ears. What he saw next made his eyes widen.

"Whoa..." he said.

Louis turned in the direction his friend was staring toward. His reaction matched the latter.

"Uh..." paused Louis.

Taki held her metal, hair-clasp in her mouth as she platted lengths of her obsidian-black hair.

"I have never seen you with your hair down," said Louis.

"What, did you think I slept with it tied up?" responded Taki.

She then took the clasp from her mouth and clipped it around the platted topknot. She then took two white feathers, and gently placed the sharp ends into her hair.

After she finished her personal grooming, she noticed Incineroar's eyes covered by a pillow. She walked over to him and gently nudged his arm.

"Hey, Incineroar," she said. "Come on, get up."

The fire-cat wrestler groaned and moved the pillow off of his face, with what appeared to be bags under his eyes.

"Can't I just have five more minutes?" he moaned.

Roy trotted over to the duo, noticing Incineroar's tired expression.

"Whoa, you look rougher than an old road," he joked. "Didn't get much sleep?"

The fire-cat hurled the pillow at Roy's head, knocking him to the floor.

The sound of sizzling emitted from the kitchen, as Roy noticed a familiar scent.

"Oh, heck yes!" he cheered, dashing to the kitchen.

With speed and dexterity, Roy dashed toward the kitchen area and began consuming his breakfast. The fork in his hand never stopped. Louis and Taki stared dumbfoundedly.

"Remind me never to get in an eating contest with him," said Louis.

"Unless it's with curry," joked Taki.

The young adult laughed and said, "Yeah, unless that."

After the humans and Pokémon had their morning treats, the trio of trainers gathered their belongings, got dressed, and made a quick check of their supplies. As Louis placed his pendant around his neck, he took a quick glance at Roy's Inteleon, Dragonite, and Lycanroc, where he suddenly remembered an important bit of information from the past.

"Hey, uh...Roy?" he asked.

"Yeah, dude?" replied Roy.

"Didn't you used to have an Electabuzz on your team?"

"Yeah. Why?"

"What happened to it?

Roy searched his brain waves for the memories and details to answer his friend's question.

"Well, you know how Azul went to Kanto for a training program?" he asked.

"Yeah?" responded Louis.

"There was another one that started up about three years ago. Except this one was in Sinnoh."

"Sinnoh, huh?"

Roy wiped a smudge off of his glasses.

"Yeah. I asked my team if they'd like to give it a try, and Electabuzz was the only one who did."

Louis was intrigued by the revelation.

"So, for a while, I was stuck with only two Pokémon," continued Roy. "That is...until I met Inteleon when he was a Sobble."

"Do you think we'll see him while we're in Sinnoh?" wondered Louis.

– "Probably," answered Roy.

The sound of someone clearing their throat rang from behind the two individuals. They turned to see Della standing nearby.

"Don't you have to be somewhere?" she asked.

Invisible exclamation marks appeared above the duo. They grabbed their supplies and joined Taki outside the house.

Taki gestured at the clear sky. "It's gonna be a hot one!"

"Again?" groaned Azul, as he and the rest of the gang's teams of Pokémon joined their trainers.

Wanting more information about their trip, Ikaikai and Della decided to travel alongside the group. They travelled across multiple paths and journeyed through Hau'oli City before finally reaching the docks. As they approached the yacht they rode on when they left the academy, they saw multiple crewmembers standing near the ramp, as what appeared to be mechanics travelled onto the vessel with a toolbox.

Confused, the party approached the crew.

"Hey, what's going on?" called Taki.

The captain spun around to the approaching party.

"Ah, you're here," he said, as he stepped toward the gathering.

"To be honest, we only learned the news about half-an-hour ago," he continued.

Several worried sailors clambered about the walkway, staring at the ship and pointing occasionally midship, directing the mechanics.

"What happened?" asked Louis.

"That storm we went through yesterday flooded the engine," explained the captain.

"And it'll take about 48 hours for it to be repaired. So, we won't be able to use it to get to our next destination."

"How are we gonna travel now?" moaned Roy.

"The only other way we know how," responded the Captain. "We've contacted the airport about it, and the plane heading to your next stop will be here tomorrow," the captain explained. "You'll be flying this time."

Dragonite's eyes widened.

"Flying?!" he shrieked, at a pitch that silenced the party.

"Uh...Dragonite? You ok?" asked Roy.

His dragon-type Pokémon rapidly shook his head.

Taki slowly returned her focus to the yacht captain.

"But, where's our next stop? We don't have a schedule," said Taki.

Reaching into his jacket, the captain presented the girl with a folded sheet of paper. She took the paper from the captain, unfolded it, and read through the schedule. Seeing the name of their next stop made her smile.

"Hey!" she exclaimed. "Our next stop is Johto!"

Hearing the name of his home region. Louis' heartbeat sky-rocketed. A smile formed on his face before he cheered with delight.

"WAHOOO!" he yelled.

The excitement spread throughout the group to all, except Dragonite.

Figuring that they could make use of this day, Louis, Taki and Roy travelled across Melemele Island, with Ikaikai and Della guiding the tourists of the group. During their travels, Louis and Taki caught their first glimpses of the regional variants of Pokémon throughout Alola. The ones that baffled the trainers from Johto were an Alolan Marowak, Vulpix, and Sandslash. Later on, Louis and Taki spotted the Alolan variant of an Exeggutor, with a long neck, like a palm tree, and tail. Louis nearly fainted at the sight of the Alolan Exeggutor.

Later that day, the humans travelled on separate flying Pokémon to get bird's eye views of all the different islands that make up the Alola region. With their limited time in the region, it would be difficult to visit every single one of them. By nightfall, everyone was exhausted and decided to call it an early night and go to sleep.

The next day, Louis, Taki, Roy and their Pokémon, alongside Roy's parents, raced to the airport. Along the way, Dragonite's heart began beating rapidly, dwelling on his personal issues of flying. By the time he gathered his bearings, he noticed that the rest of the party was already metres ahead of him. The dragon Pokémon dashed toward his friends.

The airport. A vibrant building, full of many locals and tourists departing and arriving. Each one with the intent of travelling to a new destination. The group stood outside the entrance to the departure lounge.

Stuck to the automatic doors were a set of instructions and rules that needed to be followed. Amongst the list, there was one rule that stood out the most to the trio of trainers.

"Limit of ONE Pokémon to be seated alongside trainers"

"Just one?" said Louis.

"Aw man, that sucks," groaned Roy.

"But it does make sense," said Della. "I mean, if every trainer had all of their Pokémon sitting alongside them, then the plane would be overloaded."

Roy sighed, "I guess."

Something then gripped Roy's shoulder. He turned to see his father reaching over to him. The musician was brought in for a tight embrace between father and son.

"See you soon, okay?" said Ikaikai.

"Y-yeah..." gasped Roy.

Then, Della wrapped her arms around her child, wishing him luck on his travels. Both Louis and Taki thanked the two adults for the hospitality as they stayed in the region.

Simple and minimalist, the departure lounge was, nevertheless, air-conditioned, and a welcome respite from the heat outside. Numerous booths lined the inner wall, and the place was surprisingly bustling.

"Geez, so many people," said Marowak.

"I thought the academy had a lot of people, but this is enormous," added Braixen.

With the issue of who to bring on the plane alongside them, the three humans spun to their respective teams of Pokémon.

"So, do either of you want to volunteer?" said Taki, speaking to Feraligatr and Cinderace.

Both the fire-rabbit and the large blue crocodile looked to one another and whispered amongst themselves. After reaching a solution, they returned their attention to their trainer.

"Uh, since Johto's our next stop, we think Feraligatr should travel alongside you," said Cinderace.

Now, it was Louis' turn to make a decision. With six Pokémon on his team, it was a difficult decision. However, he couldn't decide. So, he came up with a solution. He pulled out his hat from his backpack and placed each of his Pokéballs into it.

"Ok. So, whoever's Pokéball I draw out gets to sit alongside me on the plane," explained Louis. "Feeling lucky?"

"...no," admitted Lucario.

Asking Taki for assistance in holding his hat, Louis rummaged around the inside of the headgear, without peeking. Eventually, he grabbed the first Pokéball. The first one brought out was...Braixen's Pokéball.

"Looks like Braixen's going first," announced Louis.

"Dang it..." groaned Azul.

After his two friends had made their decisions, Roy shifted his focus to his team of Pokémon, drawing out the three respective Pokéballs.

"Ok, is there anyone who definitely doesn't wanna-"

Before he could finish the sentence, Dragonite raised his arm.

"...do it..." finished Roy.

Dragonite quickly snatched his capsule from his trainer.

"I'm not doing this," said Dragonite.

"Why not?" asked Lycanroc.

"I do not trust those planes," answered Dragonite. "I'll see you when we get there."

After that sentence, Dragonite beamed himself inside his red-and-white spherical device, where it landed on the ground. Roy stared, dumbfounded.

"Uh..." he paused. "I don't know what Dragonite said, but that was...unexpected."

After picking up the capsule that contained Dragonite, Roy returned his attention to the remaining two members of his team.

"...anyone else?" he asked.

Both Inteleon and Lycanroc debated the possibilities in their minds. Each one considered taking the spot themselves, while also thinking of letting the other ride alongside their trainer. After some time passed, Lycanroc stepped forward and volunteered to sit out of the flight.

Roy shrugged and said, "Alright. If you insist."

Soon, the trainers and their chosen Pokémon went through the security gates, had their carry-on luggage inspected, and found their boarding gate, waiting for their plane to start boarding.

They waited for what seemed like an eternity.

"Geez, what's taking them so long?" groaned Louis.

"Heh, maybe the engine's flooded," joked Feraligatr.

A cross-pulsing nerve appeared on Taki's head.

"Feraligatr! That's not how planes work at all!" she growled.

– "It's a joke. Relax."

"Well, it wasn't funny."

Inteleon turned his head to the girl.

"I thought it was," he mumbled.

Soon, a member of staff announced their flight was about to start the boarding procedure. The three trainers and their selected Pokémon stepped through the walkway and aboard the aircraft. A vast number of different travellers followed from behind.

After finding their seats, and following the safety procedures, the engines roared to life. It began taxiing through the airport's runways. Soon, the aircraft got faster as the internal workings grew louder. Once enough speed had been found, the plane lifted itself off the earth below and into the air.

"Woohoo!" cheered Roy. "Up, up, and a-"

Abruptly, the musician lost consciousness and emitted loud snores.

"He fell asleep again?" blurted Braixen.

"I thought his mother was joking about that," said Inteleon.

Louis sat back in his temporary seating arrangements.

"Well..." he sighed. "Look out Johto, here we come."
