Title suggestion: What does it mean to be strong

Ippo Makunouchi has retired after his final battle. (LUL, I forgot who he fought before retiring). He wanted to become a world champion, but he doesn't regret (a small part of him regrets) his decision of retiring. He now truly understood the meaning of "What does it truly mean to be strong".

Ippo is preparing the boat to take customers fishing, when he sees a child drowning Tokyo Bay. He ignores it, thinking it is his hallucination. But then he hears the scream of that child, so he hurriedly went to start the boat to rescue the child. The boat doesn't start because there is no fuel, but he just refilled it yesterday. His stomach was churning and he has a bad feeling about this, but the child's screams are very hard to ignore. Ippo jumps in the bay and swim towards the kid to save it, but when he nears it, he notices that it's nothing but a log. Ippo thinking the it was just his hallucination he swims towards the shore.

Just as Ippo was about the swim back a hand reaches out from inside and grabs his leg. Ippo tries hard to rescue himself from the grip which was holding him, but was in disadvantage in water.

Ippo was regretting his decisions (not about going to save a child) but about not being able to box to his hearts content. His regret activated a magic seal inside his pocket which he got during his match in Kuoh town from his fan, she had one of the most beautiful red hairs he has ever seen, but she talked funny. She offered him to be her "servant" and something about devils. Ippo don't know why he was remembering her.

Ippo dies by drowning in water, after few minutes a circle forms on top of the sea and a beautiful red-haired girl appears who sees the dead body of Ippo.

Rias has already used 7 pawn pieces on Issei (change from 8 to 7) and tries to resurrect Ippo from the one pawn she has left (Ippo is reincarnated using pawn piece, because it's one of the most versatile chess piece in dxd).
