Eli's POV
I woke up bright and early. It was now 6 am, so I had to get up and get ready for school. I groaned, stretched, opened my eyes, and got out of my skull-covered bed. I made my way out of my room, heading to my bathroom to shower. As I showered, wrapping myself in a trowel, I went back into my room to dry off, put on clothes, and fix my hair. I also brushed my teeth. I walked downstairs and eating breakfast and saying goodbye to my parents and grabbing my backpack off the stairs, walking out to my hearse. As I try to turn it in it wasn't starting, making me curse and what's worse I didn't know the way to the school by walking however I do remember where a certain English partner lives I smirked at myself just thinking of her and I admit she is the prettiest girls I have ever seen.
As I reached Clare's street I glanced around at the houses each telling a story of their own until I stopped at the number 26 where I know Clare lives. I was about to walk up and knock when I saw the door open and a vision of beauty appeared. I froze only for a moment. She was too beautiful, her eyes were like oceans, her curls framed her face perfectly, her voice was the sweetest I have heard. I never felt this before, not when it was different with Julia. She was just someone who gave me attention but Clare was something else. She was a beautiful soul. I want to find out more about her not only to get into her pants, but she also seems innocent for that.
"Morning Eli, what are you doing here?" A soft voice snapped me out of my thoughts as I quickly shook my head before she caught me staring at her and she was walking over to me wearing a pink and white tartan blouse under her trademark denim jacket, plain leggings and Dolly shoes which looked so good on her.
I gulped lost for words but I had to be confident. "Well Edwards if you must know my car is in the shop and I'm still kinda new" I let out a smirk which made her blush. I kept going "And I was wondering if you could take me to school?" I asked, still smirking.
"I would love to" her smile grew wider by the minute I blushed when she wasn't looking but made sure I was beside her.
"Lead me the way" I let her go first and she would know her way to Degrassi, we started to walk down the pavement.
Clare's POV
Eli stood beside me I let a smile shine for him he was one of the things that made me happy right now and ever since my parents have been fighting non-stop, Darcy is still in Kenya even though she only going to be there for 4 months that was over a year ago and Alli is busy with Drew so this boy all I got and he wasn't bad looking so I'll see how it goes. I walked beside him trying to think of something to talk about then it hit me how about a game of 20 questions. "How would you feel if we played a game as we walked to school?" I ask Eli not to realise I was blushing.
"And what type of game would this be?" Eli raises an eyebrow flashing his sly smile.
"20 questions?" I ask.
He nods "Okay I'm in but who is going first?" The green-eyed boy looked into my blue eyes.
I felt butterflies in my stomach. I hadn't felt this since KC and even that wasn't as intense it is right now. "I'll go" I was confident, totally trying to impress him.
"Okay Edwards ask away anything" the way he said my surname made my heart skip a beat and out made me trip a little on a broken pavement but my Knight in emo armour saved me and I blushed a deep shade of red on my cheeks.
I take a deep breath "Well my first question is what made you want to transfer to Degrassi? You must have heard things about what had happened in the past" She raises an eyebrow curiously.
"Well my dad got a transfer from another radio station which was right at a time when I was going through things." Eli responded to me as I gave him a nod letting him know I was listening.
"I hope you like it at Degrassi." I smiled. His smirk was making me melt. I couldn't explain it.
"I already do, especially meeting you. '' A flirty smile appears or at least that's what I thought. "Now I get to ask you a question and that is besides me making you scream at the top of your lungs in public. What is the most embarrassing thing that happened to you?"
When he asked me if my cheeks turned a deeper shade of red I tried to think of something then it hit me "Okay I'll tell you but promise me you won't laugh" I playfully grateful and he just smirks. He wasn't making it easy for me to smirk. Why was it so attractive? "Here I go, it was last year when I was a niner my friend Alli and I needed to go to the bathroom at Mr Simpsons house" I was about to go on but Eli was a little confused.
"Principal Simpson's House?" He asked, raising an eyebrow.
I quickly responded "He's Connor's godfather and his stepdaughter came to Degrassi for a talk once." He nodded understandingly as I then continued "We shouldn't have been in his bedroom in the place we found a viberator it ended up in my bag and it went off in class and my mother had to come in. It was so embarrassing."
Eli was shocked but amused "I would've died if my parents came in for that and my parents are very open about sexual things."
My jaw dropped. I couldn't believe it, but again Eli does seem like the type to have more lenient parents so I shrugged and giggled.
"You're cute when you laugh" he smirks at me and I couldn't stop blushing.
Eli's POV
I watched her blushing, she was so pretty, her laugh healed my soul, her smile brightened up my world. There's something about her and I wanted to know more about her.
As we walked a few more streets we asked one another the remaining questions slowly learning more about each other and me. I couldn't keep my eyes off her. She's like a Ray of sunshine and I have a feeling something is going to happen between us.
We finally reached Degrassi walking up the steps. I opened the front doors for her and she smiled and thanked me as I followed her in. We chatted as we walked to where the lockers were reaching hers.
"Thanks again, Eli." She smiled at me making my heart skip a beat and there I knew that she was the one "You are welcome" I smirked as she gave me a sweet but flirty smile walking away and I watched her walk away.
