Now her own daughter was on the same path as her compared to easy going Thea with skills in archery and Sara being a lawyer. With Laurel she was just a different child then them.
And she kept the fact that deep down she always wanted to date at least one of them which turned out to be Sara.
Maybe in another life or a completely different universe Sara could be a masked vigilante and not her. Then again she was too sweet and kind to ever go down the path that Laurel alone had to cross in terms of following her mom's footsteps.
Darkly she thought of if she come to this same path on some far off place like a desert island
When in reality she come by it in Tokyo, Japan, one of the biggest cities in the world. Would her mind of even been less tortured if that unseen island was her main reason for being gone so long from Star City.
She had own reasons for becoming like Dinah beyond the legacy, she told Thea which was true. But she just didn't want to get into what these reasons were and the lingering lonely feelings that come with them including the thoughts about Thea and Sara.
Which was why Laurel dated women mainly and why all of them turned to crap like the rich Kate Kane and Kara Kent
These dates didn't end as well as Laurel would have liked but it was one of the prices payed for wearing a mask, and also being rich as hell

Walking out of the shadows come forth a handsome long blonde haired man in a white suit "Your wish is my command Mr. Bane but how do get such a message to this Siren anyway?"
Bane now laughed at the question
