One moring in the circus, Mrs. Jumbo was getting Dumbo ready for his first walk.

Timothy wanted to accompany Dumbo during his walk. "Um, excuse me, Mrs. Jumbo," he said to Mrs. Jumbo.

"Yes?" said Mrs. Jumbo.

"Would it be all right if I accompany Dumbo during his first walk?" asked Timothy.

Mrs. Jumbo nodded. "Sure," she said.

Timothy bowed and followed Dumbo outside the circus tent. "We'll be back later," he said as he and Dumbo waved goodbye to Mrs. Jumbo.

Mrs. Jumbo waved goodbye as well as she watched as Dumbo and Timothy walked out.

"Now, remember, Dumbo," said Timothy. "We must be very careful when it comes to taking walks, got it?"

Dumbo nodded in agreement.

"Atta boy," said Timothy. "Now, let's go."

So Dumbo and Timothy started to walk into the field.

Timothy sniffed the air. "Isn't this nice, Dumbo?" he said.

Dumbo nodded, also sniffing the air.

"Just imagine who we might meet around here," said Timothy. "Maybe sometime you might want to hang out with some other elephants like you."

Dumbo made a confused look.

"What I'm saying is that you'll be able to make some friends around here," said Timothy. "You know what I mean?"

Dumbo nodded again.

"Okay, let's keep moving," said Timothy.

So Dumbo and Timothy continued to walk in the field. Suddenly, they heard humming.

"Do you hear that, Dumbo?" asked Timothy.

Dumbo opened his left ear to hear where the humming was coming from.

Timothy pointed to where the humming was coming from on the left. "Look, Dumbo," he said. "Over there. Let's follow it."

With that, Dumbo and Timothy followed the sound of humming. Then they came to some bushes.

"This must be it," said Timothy. "Come on, Dumbo, uncover the bushes."

So Dumbo uncovered the bushes, and what he saw in front of him was a girl elephant.

The girl elephant saw Dumbo and smiled at him.

Dumbo's big ears perked up at the sight, and he was speechless as usual.

Timothy stood in shock with his jaw dropped.

The girl elephant approached Dumbo and blinked several times at him, making him blush in embarrassment.

"Well, what do you know?" said Timothy. "It's a girl!"

Dumbo was blushing so hard that he fell back.

Timothy helped Dumbo back up. "Come on, Dumbo," he said. "Say something to her."

Too timid to say anything, Dumbo backed up and shook his head.

"What's the matter with you?" asked Timothy. "Aren't you gonna say something to her?"

Dumbo shook his head again and hid his face in his ears.

"Aw, Dumbo," said Timothy. "Don't be so timid. Just say "hi" or something."

So Dumbo uncovered his face and approached the elephant girl. Then he shyly trumpeted a small "hello".

The elephant girl trumpeted "hello" back.

Dumbo gave a small smile.

"See, it's not so hard, right?" said Timothy.

Dumbo nodded, not so timid anymore.

"All right, now let me do the talking," said Timothy.

Then, Timothy turned to the girl elephant. "So, what's your name?" he asked her.

But the girl elephant was nameless, so she shook her head.

"You don't have a name?" asked Timothy.

The girl elephant shook her head again.

"Okay, then I guess were just gonna have to name you," said Timothy. "Let's see..."

Timothy tried to think of a name for the girl elephant. "What about Lucy?"

The girl elephant shook her head in disagreement.

"Hmm, Maria?" said Timothy.

The girl elephant shook her head again.

"Okay, okay," said Timothy. "I'll try to think of a better name."

Timothy thought even harder. "Priscilla?" he said.

The girl elephant trumpeted in agreement. Timothy had given her a perfect name.

"All right, then," said Timothy. "Priscilla it is."

Dumbo trumpeted as well, also liking the name.

"Pleased to meet you, Priscilla," said Timothy. "I'm Timothy, and this is Dumbo."

Dumbo waved his trunk at Priscilla, and Priscilla did the same.

"Are you lost, my lady?" asked Timothy.

Priscilla nodded. She had been lost for two years.

"Okay," said Timothy. "Would you like to come live with us at the circus?"

Overjoyed, Priscilla trumpeted in agreement.

"Okay, then," said Timothy. "Follow us!"

So Dumbo, Timothy, and Priscilla started to walk back to the circus.

"I could just image what would become of you two," said Timothy.

Dumbo and Priscilla looked at each other and smiled.

Then, the trio walked near a radio that made a static noise.

"What was that?" asked Timothy.

Dumbo pointed his trunk to the radio. Then he, Timothy, and Priscilla walked over to it.

"Huh, that's funny," said Timothy. "Why would there be a radio on the field?"

Then, the radio began to sound with a male voice that said, "Attention, all listeners, this your weatherman speaking."

"Oh, this must be intresting," said Timothy.

The radio continued. "There will be a big snow storm comming to this state. All animals, please report to the circus immediately and take shelter. That is all for today."

With that being said, the radio went off, leaving Dumbo, Timothy, and Priscilla in shock.

"Oh, dear," said Timothy. "A snow storm's on it's way. We better get home now."

So the trio started to walk their way home.

Suddenly, after a few miles of walking, it started to snow.

"Oh, no," said Timothy. "The storm started. Come on, hurry up!"

The trio tried to walk faster. Then they stepped onto a frozen river.

"Dumbo, Priscilla, be careful of this ice," Timothy warned Dumbo and Priscilla.

But then, without noticing, Dumbo stepped harder on the ice, causing it to crack.

Timothy and Priscilla took notice of the crack.

"Oh, no!" exclaimed Timothy.

Suddenly, the ice cracked completely, sending Dumbo, Timothy, and Priscilla falling in the cold water.

Timothy surfaced from the water, trying to catch his breath. "Dumbo! Priscilla! Where are you?" he called out.

Then, Dumbo surfaced as well.

"Dumbo, where's Priscilla?" asked Timothy.

Dumbo looked underwater and saw Priscilla drowning in it. Then he took his head out of the water and trumpeted in alarm.

"She's drowning?" said Timothy.

Dumbo nodded.

"This is bad," said Timothy. "We've got to save her. And fast!"

With that, Timothy hopped onto Dumbo's hat, and taking a deep breath, Dumbo dove underwater.

Dumbo swam and swam until he reached Priscilla. Then he picked her up on his back and swam back to the surface.

"Good work, Dumbo," said Timothy.

Dumbo winked at Timothy.

Then, Dumbo and Timothy got out of the water with Priscillla on Dumbo's back.

Dumbo carefully placed Priscilla on the ground.

"Is she okay?" asked Timothy.

Dumbo looked at Priscilla. She was unconscious.

"We've got to get her home quickly!" said Timothy. "Oh, but how?"

Then, Timothy looked at Dumbo's big ears, which gave him an idea. "I've got it!" he said. "Dumbo, you have to fly us home."

Unsure, but willing to do so, Dumbo picked up Priscilla once again and Timothy hopped onto Dumbo's hat.

"Let's fly, Dumbo!" said Timothy.

Then, Dumbo spread his ears out and flew from the ground and into the sky.

As Dumbo flew, Timothy pointed to the circus below. "There it is!" he said.

Dumbo looked down and saw the circus at well.

"All right, Dumbo," said Timothy. "Get ready to land!"

So Dumbo flew downward and landed on the ground.

"We made it!" said Timothy. "Okay, you know what to do, Dumbo."

Dumbo carried Priscilla into the circus and walked to the elephant area. Then he carefully placed her on the ground.

Mrs. Jumbo saw Priscilla laying on the ground, so she walked over to her. Then she daw Dumbo and Timothy.

"We're back, Mrs. Jumbo," said Timothy. "Sorry if this is confusing you, but we've got an unconscious girl elephant to take care of."

Dumbo grabbed one of Priscilla's ears with his trunk to check if she was okay.

"Stand back, Dumbo," said Timothy. "Give her some air."

So Dumbo backed up and stood beside Timothy and Mrs. Jumbo.

After a few seconds, Priscilla opened her eyes and looked around the room. Then she saw Dumbo, Timothy, and Mrs. Jumbo beside her.

"Are you all right, my lady?" asked Timothy.

Priscilla smiled and nodded as she got back up and nuzzled against Dumbo, thanking him for saving her.

Dumbo blushed once again.

Timothy and Mrs. Jumbo smiled at the sight.

"I think he likes her," said Timothy. "Don't you think?"

Mrs. Jumbo nodded.

Then, Timothy looked outside and saw that the snow was gone. "Hey, look," he said to the others. "It's sunny again!"

Dumbo and Priscilla trumpeted with excitement.

"Well, what are you waiting for?" said Timothy. "Get out there and play!"

So Dumbo took Priscilla's trunk as they walked outside.

Timothy and Mrs. Jumbo watched as the elephant couple walked out of the tent and onto the field.

"That's my Dumbo," said Mrs. Jumbo.

"You got that right," said Timothy.

Already getting to know each other, Dumbo and Priscilla played outside for the rest of the morning.
