I stared at the TV screen. I could not believe Ash still hasn't beat Bea yet. Even after his Farfetch'd evolved. "Go to sleep, Kyle." Called my mom. I was in the middle of the show and it was almost my bedtime. "Mum, I have seven minutes left!" I called back.

"Your sisters already went to bed," she said. "Besides, you would want to rest up for that Spelling Bee tomorrow." I groaned and shut of the TV, undressed, and went to sleep. "Goodnight everyone," I said to the roof of my room. "Goodnight," responded my oldest sister. My eyes shut, and I was slipped away into a dream.

I saw Arceus, face to face. I knew this was going to be a good dream. "Sup Arceus," I said.

"Hello," he responded. I was taken aback. Arceus has appeared in my dreams before, but he did not have a low voice like that. "This is not a dream," said Arceus. "Well, it is, but it is not yours. This is THE Arceus." "Wha-" I was quickly pulled away by Arceus into a battlefield.

"Let us battle. I want to know if you are the one." I was so confused, but before I could respond, 3 pokeballs appeared in front of me. "Let's do this!" I shouted. I threw my first pokeball. Out came Glaceon.

"Alright use Icy wind!" Glaceon released a chilling breeze from its mouth, put Arceus sidestepped to the left. " Quick, follow it up with Ice Shard!" I yelled. Glaceon tensed, then rush forward covered in ice. The attack hit but Arceus brushed himself of and stomped onto the ground. Earthquake. "Hang on Glaceon!" I pleaded, but Glaceon was laying on the ground.

"Send out your next pokemon," Arceus said. I returned Glaceon on threw a second pokeball. An Alolan Raichu came out. "Nice! Start of with Electric Terrain!" A yellow ball expanded across the battlefield and electricity crackled in the air. "Now follow up with Rising Voltage!" I said. Raichu red bolts of hot white electricity sped towards Arceus. "That was a great combo," said Arceus as he was trying to recover. "Quick use Thunderbolt!" I said. Arceus stood up straight and use its own Thunderbolt. Arceus' was stronger and nailed Raichu. Then Arceus stomped on the ground and sent shockwaves through the earth. Raichu was hit by the strong earthquake and fainted.

"Return Raichu. Go pokeball!" A Dragonite appeared. "Dragon Dance into Draco Meteor!" I said. Dragonite spinned in a circle, then summoned meteors from the sky. Arceus quickly dodged them all and fired its own Dragon Pulse. "Use Hurricane!" Dragonite couldn't react, for it fainted.

"Great battling Kyle, I know you are the one." Before I could ask, Arceus used Hypnosis on me. When I awoke, the stunning light caught my eye. A Pidgey and Spearow flew in and out my window. I was in the pokemon world.
