Hulk used himself as a support before the rubble would crush him, Ronnie, Stein, Mack, Rocket and Rhodey, while the water began pouring in.
"I can't breathe! I can't breathe!" Rocket panicked, trying to keep himself above water, while he was trapped under the debris.
"Canopy, canopy, canopy." Rhodey said with a groan and his suit opened as he went out.
"Friends run!" Hulk ordered.
"Let me up! Let me up! Come on!" Rocket panicked as Rhodey and Mack used a rebar as a lever to lift the rubble on Rocket.
"Come on, raccoon, let's go!" Mack ordered as he pulled Rocket out of the rubble and helped him on his feet.
"Thanks." Rocket said, sighing in relief.
"We need to get out of here before—" Mack stopped, when they heard more water coming in, flooding the lower level. "Oh, come on!"
Scott, who had shrunk himself, went out from the rubble, hearing Rhodey's SOS.
"Mayday, Mayday! Does anybody copy! We're on the lower level. It's flooding!" Rhodey called out.
"What? What?" Scott asked.
"We are drowning! Does anybody copy? Mayday!" Rhodey repeated.
"Wait! I'm here!" Scott called out. "I'm here. Can you hear me?"
In one of the service tunnels under the compound, Daisy quaked away the rubble and helped Fitz and Hunter on their feet, when they noticed the Gauntlet with all the Stones still inside it near them.
"Come on. We have to get it out of here." Daisy said.
Hunter helped Fitz on his feet as Fitz picked the Gauntlet but they didn't get very far, when a familiar woman blocked their path and they stopped, while Fitz and Daisy both paled and their blood ran cold at the sight of the woman in front of them.
"Oh, you gotta be kidding me." Daisy groaned.
"Hello, Leopold. Daisy." Aida greeted with a smile, though the glare she was giving could kill ten times over. "Give me the Stones and I'll make your deaths quick and painless."
"Like Hell." Daisy said, quaking the ceiling above Aida as the rubble fell down on her.
"We need to run! Now!" Fitz ordered.
"Don't have to tell me twice!" Daisy snapped as they turned and ran off.
In another part of the compound, Clint, Caitlin, Patty, Sharon, Helena, Shang-Chi and Peter were in the sewers as they all got up on their feet but Peter's spider-sense continued ringing in his head and he turned to see a pack of Outriders coming towards them. Peter fired webbing, trying to barricade the path but the Outriders clawed through the webbing before Caitlin turned into Killer Frost and created an ice barricade.
"Run!" Clint ordered as Patty, Sharon, Peter, Shang-Chi, Helena and Caitlin followed him, while Patty and Sharon pulled out their guns and Helena pulled out her crossbows and fired as the Outriders began breaking through the ice.
"Come on, buddy, wake up." Tony shook Steve as he came to. "That's my man. You lose this again, I'm keeping it." He said, showing Steve his shield.
"What happened?" Steve wondered.
"Thawne." Barry said as he got up with a groan as Oliver and Natasha helped him on his feet, while Logan, Clark and Diana approached.
"You're telling me he was posing as Harry this whole time?" Oliver asked.
"No. This time it's different. I'm sure I saw Thawne back when we were trying to get the Stones back from Thanos. Some kind of a ghost of him." Barry said.
"So, what, he decided to play Voldemort and possess Wells?" Tony asked and Barry nodded.
"He was normal until we returned back." Barry said.
They looked outside the hole in the facility and saw Thanos sitting on a pile of rubble, his double-edged sword impaled to the ground next to him and accompanied by Thawne, in Harry's body and wearing the Reverse-Flash suit and surrounded by several familiar faces they had hoped never to see again and it seemed that the enemies they had fought on New Titan came back for a rematch, with more of their 'old acquaintances.'
"What have they been doing?" Tony asked.
"Absolutely nothing." Thor said.
"Where are the Stones?" Steve wondered.
"Somewhere under the rubble." Clark said.
"As long as they don't have them, it doesn't matter." Barry said and Oliver nodded.
"Barry's right, we need to make sure it stays that way." Oliver said.
"You do realize that it's a trap, do you?" Diana asked.
"Honestly, I don't really care." Natasha said as she picked her batons.
"Good." Thor nodded. "Just as long as we're all in agreement." The thunder cracked in the distance as Thor summoned Stormbreaker to his hand and put on his armor as the burns on his arm healed. "Let's kill them all."
"Just not Thawne. He's taken over Harry's body. We can't kill him." Barry said.
"It's not like we can exorcise him while taking them all on." Tony said.
"Let's just hope it doesn't come down to killing him." Oliver said.
They descended down and neared the villains, while Thanos was sitting patiently on the pile of rubble as they approached him and the villains surrounding him as Thanos turned his attention to them.
"You could not live with your own failure. Where did that bring you? Back to me." Thanos said. "I thought by eliminating half of life the other half would thrive. But you've shown me that's impossible. And as long as there are those that remember what was, there will always be those that are unable to accept what can be. They will resist."
"Yep, we're all kinds of stubborn." Tony quipped.
"You get used to it." Oliver added.
"Your stubbornness ends here." Malcolm said as he and Oliver were locked in heated stares. "You've taken everything from me, Oliver. I'm going to enjoy taking everything from you, starting with your friends here."
"Not if we have anything to say about it." Natasha said as she smiled at her husband, repeating Oliver's words.
"How are you still alive, Thawne? And where's Harry?" Barry demanded, glaring at Thawne.
"The Negative Speed Force. It brings more powers to me than your Speed Force does, since they are opposites of each other and it gives me access to abilities you might call unnatural, though Cisco would hate that I used the Star Wars reference." Thawne said with a sick grin as he did the gesture of plunging his hand and Barry glared, remembering when Thawne had murdered Cisco before Barry had time-traveled. "I told you, I am the one thing you cannot stop, Flash. Harry is gone. This time, I win."
"No." Barry shook his head. "You are not winning this time. I'm gonna stop you and save Harry."
"Doubtful. We're ten steps ahead of you." Adrian smirked as he turned to Oliver. "So now you've lost your mother, Thea, Tommy and Sara and we're gonna make sure that you lose the rest of your friends and family. I told you, Oliver, everything you touch, dies."
Oliver glared as he clenched his bow.
"I'm thankful. Because now I know what I must do." Thanos continued as he got up, putting on his helmet and picking his sword. "I will shred this universe down to its last atom. And then with the stones you've taken from me create a new one, teeming with life that knows not what it has lost but only what it has been given."
Thor charged Stormbreaker as his eyes pulsed with lightning.
"A grateful universe." Thanos finished.
"Born out of blood." Steve countered, disgusted.
"They'll never know it. Because you won't be alive to tell them." Thanos said.
Oliver notched an arrow as he aimed it at Thanos. "Thanos, you have failed this multiverse!"
Then, it was on.
Lightning pulsed through Thor as he roared and together with Tony, Steve and Logan charged at Thanos, while Tony formed a blade in his hand but Thanos blocked it and Steve's shield and Oliver's arrow that exploded in lightning, staggering Thanos back. Logan lunged at Thanos but Thanos quickly recovered and knocked him away and then dodged as Thor attacked with his axe. Thanos knocked Steve away and kicked Thor down before blocking Tony's repulsor beams with his sword. Diana jumped in and attacked but Thanos parried and swung his sword, while Diana raised her shield to block but the power of the blow impacting with her shield sent her sliding away as she buried her feet in the ground to regain her footing.
At the same time, Barry and Thawne engaged each other in superspeed as Barry began chasing Thawne around the ruins, while Clark and Zod flew at each other and Clark grabbed Zod as they took their fight high into the skies away from the rest. Oliver dodged as Malcolm fired arrows at him before their bows crossed, while Natasha engaged Adrian and pulled out her batons, crossing it with Adrian's sword.
Back in the tunnel, Fitz, Daisy and Hunter continued running, trying to get as far away from Aida as possible.
"Guys, who the bloody hell was that?" Hunter demanded.
"There's no time to explain!" Daisy exclaimed.
"If she catches up with us, we're all dead!" Fitz yelled.
Next thing they knew, they were all on the ground, while Aida appeared in front of them with the Gauntlet in her hand. "How right you are, Leopold." She said.
Before she could as much as take a step towards them, Kara flew in and fired heat vision beams at Aida, sending her flying back as the Gauntlet fell down on the floor.
"Get out of here!" Kara ordered as she turned to Hunter, Fitz and Daisy.
"But you—" Fitz began.
"I got this!" Kara yelled as Aida threw electric blasts at her, similar to Lincoln's powers but Kara stood her ground. "Just go!"
Fitz, Daisy and Hunter nodded as Fitz picked the Gauntlet before they ran to another tunnel. Kara groaned, trying to withstand Aida's electric blasts before Aida stopped the current of electricity and Kara rushed at her, trying to punch her but Aida teleported and got behind Kara, punching her in the face. Kara recovered quickly as both women began exchanging blows and while Aida was nowhere as strong as a Kryptonian, her hits were strong enough to faze Kara but Kara managed to hold her own.
Fitz, Daisy and Hunter didn't get very far though as they heard gunshots and were forced to dodge the bullets, when a dark-haired man with a brown leather jacket emerged from the shadows, aiming a gun at them and the phrase 'if looks could kill' came to mind as Fitz, Daisy and Hunter shared fierce glares aimed at the man in front of them.
"Long time no see." The man said.
"Can't say we're happy to see you." Daisy sneered.
"Since when are you Thanos's bitch, Ward?" Hunter growled.
"I don't care what Thanos is gonna do, as long as he helps me finally burn S.H.I.E.L.D. to the ground." Ward said as he looked at them with some remorse. "Don't make this harder than it has to be. I'm taking the stones, one way or another."
"Over our dead bodies." Fitz said as he aimed an ICER at Ward.
"Then I'm sorry it ends this way, Fitz." Ward said but before he could pull the trigger, a billy club flew in, knocking the gun out his hand.
Ward turned his attention to Matt, who jumped in and kicked Ward in the face but Ward quickly recovered as he and Matt were exchanging blows. Ward grabbed Matt by his arms but Matt kneed him in the groin and headbutted him before he flipped back, kicking Ward in the chin as Ward fell against the wall, dazed before he recovered and pulled out another gun but Slade then rushed in and cut his hand off as Ward cried out in pain, clutching the stump in his hand and then gunshots rang out, spraying his chest with bullets as Ward fell down, dead.
They turned to see Frank, with the barrel of his machine gun smoking. "Everyone OK?" He asked and they nodded.
"Look out!" Daisy yelled as the rubble began falling down on them, separating Frank and Slade from them but before it would crush them, they heard 'whoosh' and then disappeared in a grey blur. "Damn it!" She swore.
"They're safe." Matt said, realizing it was Pietro. "Can you quake your way out?"
"I'll try." Daisy said as she began quaking the rubble.
The shoulder plate on Tony's suit opened as a small volley of miniature missiles flew towards Thanos, who spun his sword, blocking them all as they exploded before Tony fired his lightning repulsor beams but Thanos used his sword to block them, redirecting them at Steve, who used his shield to redirect the beams at Thanos, who staggered back as the beams hit him in the chest. Diana roared as she lunged at Thanos with her sword high and Thanos raised his sword to block as they struggled.
"Wretched Amazon!" Thanos snarled, kicking Diana back as she buried her feet in the ground, sliding away.
Logan roared as he stabbed Thanos in the chest with his claws but it didn't even faze him. Thanos grabbed Logan but Logan stabbed him in the hand as Thanos let go, grunting in pain. Logan then rolled down and stabbed Thanos in the leg as Thanos grunted and fell on one knee before he kicked Logan away.
Hela used Mjolnir to strike Thor with lightning but being the god of thunder, this didn't affect him at all, while Thor roared as he flew towards her, while dodging her Necroswords. Hela attempted to stab Thor with another Necrosword, but much to her surprise, it went right through him. Hela seethed as the mirage of Thor faded and she whirled on Loki in realization. Loki winked before Thor got behind Hela and cut her in the back with Stormbreaker as she screamed in pain before recovering as she glared at them.
"Two brothers against the eldest sister? How poetic. Odin must be so proud of both of you." Hela sneered.
"We're not doing it for Odin but for all the people of the Nine Realms and beyond. They deserve better than the likes of you and Thanos." Loki said as he and Thor stood together side by side against her. The brothers turned to each other and with a nod rushed at the goddess of death. "For Asgard!"
Both brothers roared as they rushed at Hela, with Thor raising his axe high and Loki pulling out his daggers. Hela threw Mjolnir at them but Thor batted it away as it hit the ground. Hela summoned a Necrosword in her hand, trying to cut Loki, who slid down to avoid and cut her in the leg as she grunted before Thor slammed Stormbreaker to the ground, the current of lightning blasting her away.
Clark and Zod grabbed each other by their shirts before they plummeted to the ground, miles away from the compound. Zod was on top of Clark, relentlessly punching him, each punch cracking the ground and forming a shockwave.
"Unlike the Avengers and the Justice League, we will rule from the throne, not from the shadows. Every human, including the woman you love, will kneel before Zod!" Zod vowed but as he was about to punch him again, Clark grabbed his fist and got up on his feet.
"You already destroyed my first home. I won't let you take this one." Clark sneered before he threw Zod high in the air but Zod recovered as he and Clark flew at each other in top speed.
They continued running from the Outriders before there was a gap in the bridge and they heard more bestial roaring and snarling behind them.
"Give me your hand!" Peter ordered.
Patty did as Peter said, while Clint fired a grapnel arrow above and Shang-Chi and Sharon held onto Clint and they swung to the other side and Caitlin formed an ice bridge as she ran to the other side. Clint fired an explosive arrow on the ground as it exploded, shattering the ice bridge but as they continued walking down the tunnels, they stopped, when a pile of rubble barricaded their path.
"Damn it. There's no way out of here. We're trapped!" Patty exclaimed.
"Sounds like you need a miracle."
They turned to see Constantine who had emerged from another tunnel.
"Been running away from those bloody space lions for eternity." Constantine said as magical glowing circles began forming around his hands as the rubble glowed.
Barry was in a furious chase with Thawne and Zoom, glad that he didn't have to deal with Godspeed anymore but still, those two were giving Godspeed a run for his money. Barry and Zoom were exchanging blows, when Thawne rushed in and tackled Barry, sending him flying away before Barry fell down, rolling on the ground and Clark crashed next to him.
Diana roared as she lunged at Thanos but Zod flew in, knocking her down. He kicked away her sword and disarmed her of her shield, throwing it away as he punched her, knocking her down.
"Kneel before Zod and I shall allow your friends to live." Zod said.
"I will never yield to the likes of you." Diana said as she got up defiantly.
Zod looked at the Amazon with respect and sincere remorse as his eyes glowed red and two lines of red beams shot out from his eyes. Diana crossed her arms as the bracers on her wrists absorbed the beams as she buried her feet in the ground but Zod was too strong for her to counter and there was only so much she could take as she stood her ground against Zod's heat vision beams.
"Diana!" Clark exclaimed.
Suddenly, unseen to anyone else, Mjolnir began rising up from the ground as lightning cracked. Next thing Zod knew, the hammer flew and struck him in the head, dazing him as Diana managed to get a moment's rest as Mjolnir flew right into Clark's hand, much to everyone's astonishment.
Zod got up on his feet as he stared at Clark in disbelief, while lightning pulsed through Clark's eyes. "My turn."
Mjolnir spun in his hand as Clark flew at Zod, who fired heat vision beams at him but Clark used Mjolnir to block before he and Zod were exchanging blows. Clark threw Mjolnir but Zod dodged before Clark delivered an uppercut to Zod's chin, sending him flying in the air before Mjolnir flew down, striking Zod in the back as he plummeted to the ground and Clark punched him in the face, sending Zod crashing against the nearby rubble. Zod recovered as Clark threw Mjolnir at him again but Zod knocked it away as the impact caused for him to slide down the ground.
Thawne and Zoom were running towards Barry, when, much to his surprise, Mjolnir flew right into his hand. Feeling the power of the god of thunder surging through him as yellow and blue lightning pulsed through him, Barry slammed Mjolnir into the ground, creating a lightning shockwave that sent both evil speedsters flying back before Barry noticed Zod flying towards Clark.
"Hey, Clark! Catch!" Barry yelled.
Clark turned as Barry threw Mjolnir to him and Clark caught it before bashing it against Zod's face, knocking him away.
Thawne and Zoom had recovered as they rushed against Barry and Barry ran at them, while Clark threw Mjolnir, knocking both Thawne and Zoom down as Barry caught Mjolnir and tried to slam it at Zoom, who rolled away to dodge. Barry threw Mjolnir as it flew around in circles, knocking both Thawne and Zoom back before Clark caught it and flew with it at Zod, ramming him into the air. Clark tried to hit Zod with Mjolnir but Zod knocked it away.
"That new toy won't save you, Kal-El! You and your friends will die!" Zod yelled before he and Clark flew at each other again.
Oliver's and Malcolm's bows crossed as they exchanged blows before Oliver grabbed Malcolm and threw him down, disarming him of his bow. Malcolm threw a pair of knives as he got up but Oliver dodged, while Malcolm pulled out his sword and attempted to stab him but Oliver blocked with his bow.
Natasha flipped away as Adrian threw shurikens at her and she used her batons to block as he attacked with his sword before she kicked Adrian and jumped back, dodging his following attack and Natasha and Oliver were back to back as Malcolm and Adrian neared them.
"Wanna switch, honey?" Natasha asked.
"Thought you'd never ask." Oliver said.
Malcolm and Adrian rushed at them both but Oliver grabbed Natasha by her arm and swung her as she kicked both Malcolm and Adrian down before they switched between their opponents. Malcolm and Adrian had recovered as Adrian swung his sword, while Oliver blocked with his bow and Natasha used her batons to block Malcolm's sword.
Steve threw his shield at Thanos who knocked it back as it hit Steve, sending him to the ground. Mjolnir had returned to Thor's hand as he blasted Hela away with lightning and threw Mjolnir at Thanos who knocked it away, redirecting it and he brought his sword down on Thor, who used Stormbreaker to block.
Suddenly, Mjolnir flew back, hitting Thanos from behind as he staggered, while Mjolnir flew, much to everyone's astonishment, right into Steve's hand.
"I knew it!" Thor laughed but the distraction allowed Thanos to kick him away.
Steve twirled Mjolnir in his hand, rushing at Thanos and struck him in the chin as Thanos fell down. Thanos got up as Steve threw his shield but Thanos knocked it away before Steve threw Mjolnir and it impacted with the shield and bounced off, hitting Thanos in the back as he staggered, while both weapons returned to Steve's hands as he rushed at Thanos and began gaining the upper hand, while beating him and throwing both weapons at him, staggering him back. Steve then sent lightning at Thanos with Mjolnir, knocking him down. Steve struck him down with another lightning strike as he raised the hammer high and then rushed at Thanos, but Thanos dodged, rolling away before he disarmed Steve of Mjolnir and slammed him to the ground.
Logan roared as he ran down the pile of rubble and lunged at Thanos from behind but Thanos grabbed his sword and whirled around, slicing him in the chest as Logan screamed and fell down. Logan got up as Thanos stabbed him but Logan didn't relent as he drove his claws into Thanos's chest, not that it affected the Mad Titan.
"What kind of monster are you?" Thanos demanded.
"The Wolverine." Logan growled, remembering when Shingen had asked him the same question years ago and Logan had given him the same response.
Thanos pulled his sword away as Logan gasped and Thanos kicked him away as Logan rolled down the ground and groaned, waiting for the wound to heal. Thanos turned his attention back to Steve and Steve raised his shield to block as Thanos attacked with his sword, each attack shattering the shield into pieces, since his sword was much denser than vibranium, which was supposed to be among the strongest metals on Earth. Thanos kept on swinging his sword until the shield broke into two, much to Steve's shock before Thanos knocked him away.
Steve got up on his feet, panting out but fell on his knees. This fight was making him give everything he had, while Clark and Diana fell down next to him.
"In all my years of conquest, violence, slaughter, it was never personal. But I'll tell you now, what I'm about to do to your stubborn, annoying little planet… I'm gonna enjoy it… very, very much." Thanos promised.
A pillar of light appeared on the ground as the Black Order went out, accompanied by legions and fleets of Chitauri, Outriders, Leviathans and Sakaarans. And it wasn't just Thanos's army, it was more of the enemies they had fought before, alongside those they had faced on New Titan. Alexandra, Madame Gao, Murakami, Sowande, Bakuto, Nobu and an army of ninjas and thugs of the Hand were marching next to Thanos, while Damien Darhk and his army of Ghosts were at the other side. Clark paled as a portal opened and Faora, Alia, Gloria, Maxima, Baern, Titan, Aldar, Aethyr, Nam-Ek and other inmates from the Phantom Zone went out, while a giant grey behemoth with bone protrusions and spikes emerging from its body jumped forward. Doomsday roared loudly as an army of Asgardians resurrected by Hela was also making its way towards them, among more of the enemies the heroes had faced before years ago and were about to fight them again in this grand finale.
Steve turned to see Oliver and Natasha barely able to stand on their feet, panting out, while Malcolm and Adrian neared them, while Zod landed on the ground as Clark and Diana staggered on their feet and Thor and Loki were on their knees, while Hela slowly approached them and Thawne and Zoom neared Barry.
They were hopelessly outgunned and outnumbered. But Steve was not going to give up. Too much was at stake. And right now, he was the last line of defense between Thanos and the stones, not to mention the Earth and the only thing between Thanos and the fate of the entire multiverse.
Steve tightened the straps on his shield and grunted in pain as he stepped up, ready to face the limitless army of villains, when he heard a voice on the comms he didn't think that he would hear, ever again.
"Hey, Cap, you read me?"
Steve breathed out, his face full of utter disbelief.
"Cap, it's Sam. Can you hear me?" Sam called out as Steve touched his comms. "On your left."
Steve turned around to see a golden circle form and open a portal to Wakanda, from which went out T'Challa, Shuri and Okoye. T'Challa retracted his Black Panther mask and gave Steve an assuring nod, while Sam flew out. Dick also exited the portal, still in his Batman suit, alongside Wanda, Sara, Cisco, Bucky and Groot as Steve, Oliver and Barry laughed, while more portals began opening.
From the portal to Titan went out Doctor Strange with resurrected Quill, Drax and Mantis as from another portal went out Hope van Dyne in her Wasp suit and fleets of Ravager spaceships flew out, with Kraglin Obfonteri, Stakar Ogord, Aleta Ogord, Martinex, Charlie-27, Mainframe and Krugarr exiting from another portal.
From the portal to Star City went out Tommy Merlyn in the Green Arrow outfit with a sheathed sword and a bow with quiver of arrows strapped to his back, Roy Harper in his Arsenal suit and Thea Queen in her Speedy suit, with their bows and quivers, accompanied by Rene Ramirez, who was wearing his Wild Dog mask and armor and loading his guns, while Rory Reagan stood next to him in his rag suit and Ray Palmer flew out in his Atom suit and Lyla Michaels and Rick Flag also showed up, accompanied by a group of A.R.G.U.S. operatives, loading their guns.
From the portal to Central City went out Wally West in his Kid Flash suit, Ralph Dibny wearing his Elongated Man costume, Allegra Garcia, Carter Hall and Kendra Saunders in their armors and holding their maces as they nodded at Barry, who nodded back, while Leonard and Lisa Snarts and Mick Rory also went out, with their respective trademark weapons and Barry laughed in disbelief.
From the portal to New York went out Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, Danny Rand and Colleen Wing.
From the portal to Themyscira went out Queen Hippolyta, leading an army of Amazons as all yelled war cries.
From the portal to Gotham went out Jason Todd, wearing his Red Hood mask and loading his guns.
From another portal went out Lady Sif, Valkyrie and an army of Asgardians with Korg, Miek and gladiator refugees from Sakaar.
From another portal went out Yelena Belova and Alexei Shostakov as Natasha wiped the tears from her eyes and laughed.
From another portal went out Tyler Johnson and Tandy Bowen, also known as vigilantes Cloak and Dagger and next to them opened another portal from which went out Alex Wilder, Nico Minoru, Karolina Dean, Gertrude Yorkes, Chase Stein, Molly Hayes Hernandes and the genetically engineered dinosaur-like creature called Old Lace, with the group also known as the Runaways.
Wong and other Masters of the Mystic Arts came out from more portals, forming Tao Mandalas in their hands, while from another portal went out Zatanna Zatara.
Breaches opened as from one of them went out Jesse Wells and from another went out Jay Garrick, while next to him appeared Accelerated Man and a larger breach opened as Gypsy and Breacher, accompanied by several Collectors appeared.
From another portal went out J'onn J'onnz and Nia Nal, accompanied by Malefic J'onnz, M'gann M'orrz holding the Staff of H'ronmeer in her hand and behind them a group of Green Martians.
From another portal went out Deke Shaw and Robbie Reyes, also known as the Ghost Rider and Inhumans, alongside with Elena Rodriguez, also known as Yo-Yo and Melinda May, James Davis and Piper, while from another portal went out Bobbi Morse.
From another portal went out Xu Xialing, Razor Fist and an army of the Ten Rings and next to them opened another portal from which went out Ying Nan and the Ta Lo Armed Forces.
From another portal went out Talia al Ghul and an army of her students, Nyssa al Ghul and a group of assassins still loyal to her.
From another portal went out detectives Chloe Decker and Dan Espinoza and from another portal went out Tatsu and Maseo Yamashiros.
From another portal went out Scott Summers, Jean Grey, Hank McCoy, Marie D'Ancanto, Ororo Munroe, Bobby Drake, Piotr Rasputin, Kitty Pryde and Kurt Wagner.
"Is that everyone?" Strange asked.
"What? You wanted more?" Wong snapped.
From the rubble emerged Scott in his Giant-Man form as he opened his fist to reveal Mack, Rocket, Hulk, Ronnie in his Firestorm form and Rhodey in his War Machine armor, while Aida was thrown out through the rubble as Kara flew out and landed next to Clark and another part of the rubble shattered as Constantine, Helena, Sharon, Peter, Caitlin, Patty, Clint and Shang-Chi went out, while Zor-El broke through another part of the rubble with Nebula behind him.
Pietro appeared with Slade and Frank next to him as Daisy quaked her way through the rubble and went out with Matt, Fitz and Hunter.
Burst of flame appeared in the ground before it extinguished to reveal Lucifer Morningstar accompanied by Mazikeen of the Lilim, also known as Maze, who was twirling her demon daggers with a small legion of demons behind them, while Eve of Eden exited from another portal, loading up her guns and from above descended down Archangel Amenadiel, Fury of the God.
All shouted in unison as Thanos stared in dismay, perplexed, while Steve stepped up, while the united heroes got in line.
"Avengers!" Steve shouted as he reached with his hand and caught Mjolnir. "Assemble."
Thor, Diana, M'Baku and others roared loudly as the united army of heroes charged forward.
Thanos pointed with his sword as his army and other villains charged forward and both opposing forces rushed against each other in this final fight that would determine the fate of the entire multiverse.
So, I hope Clark wielding Mjolnir made sense. I think that out of all versions of Superman, Smallville version played by Tom Welling is the most fitting, even though he can be stubborn at times, he isn't as naïve and self-righteous as Kara from Arrowverse, even though in Seasons 4-6 of Supergirl her self-righteousness didn't show that much anymore and she isn't that naïve anymore in later seasons but she is still hardly fitting to wield Mjolnir, since she still can let her emotions get the better of her, when it comes to secrets and betrayals and such, plus, Elseworlds and Crisis on Infinite Earths ruined her, which is no surprise, given that Guggenheim wrote both crossovers and Kara spent time hanging out with her "BFF" Kate, not caring about trying to save Oliver or mourn for him after his first death which itself was stupid or Kara trying to use the Book of Destiny to restore her Earth and playing with forces she doesn't understand and risking making everything worse instead. From Arrowverse, with the right writing and development, Barry would also fit, which is an idea I had from Stand with Ward and Queen's 'Crisis on two earths'.
In the stories I had planned before this story before Disney phase blew my plans to hell, Barry wasn't going to be a selfish jackass, given that I had paired him with Patty instead of Iris, who is just a bad influence on him. And Arrowverse Clark in Superman & Lois is treated with respect too and more or less close to comic book portrayal as well but his problem is being independent and stubborn, like when Lois, his sons or Sam Lane and the Department of Defense offer to help and he refuses, since he either doesn't want to put his family in danger or has an understandable distrust of government, even though he accepts their help if he feels it is necessary.
Also, I decided to involve Lucifer too, since I think he wouldn't ignore something like this and the show having Lucifer as a mostly good guy is an interesting concept, though it is stupid how it plays with Christian lore, God in most portrayals is shown as an indifferent lazy old grandpa for example and it's stupid what the current live action media does to him, like Supernatural making God a sociopath using others and discarding them horribly like a child tired of its toys and throwing a tantrum and if I involved the archangels, it would be an overkill and I don't want to make Lucifer OP'd, but he still has some tricks up his sleeve, since I'm writing him close to his comic book portrayal and the Supernatural version of Lucifer, plus, I have something planned for him and Chloe at the end of the story.
And writing the "Avengers assemble!" part is always an amazing experience. It's the fourth time I've done this, alongside with my other stories, 'All for one' and 'The Wrath of Apocalypse', alongside 'Apocalypse Incoming', which was strictly DC Comics/Arrowverse heroes coming out from breaches instead of portals.
