The grounds of where Avengers Compound had been turned into one gigantic battlefield as Tony, Rhodey and Ray flew above in their suits as Tony and Ray opened fire, yellow and blue beams shooting out from their gauntlets, while Rhodey fired a barrage of missiles, Quill opened fire with his quad pistols, flying above with his jet boots and Storm flew above, striking down the wave of enemies coming at them with lightning. Scott in his Giant-Man form punched one of the Leviathans flying above, sending it crashing down, while Kara flew right into the jaws of another Leviathan and fired heat vision beams from inside as the Leviathan let out a roar of pain and plummeted to the ground before Kara flew out through its plated body and Zor-El threw piles of rubble at the Sakaaran ships, sending them crashing to the ground.
Barry, Wally, Jesse, Jay and Pietro were taking out their foes out with supersonic punches, while Barry also pulled out his Wakandan sword to cut them down and Elena also entered the fray, knocking down several of the aliens in superspeed before returning to her starting point, while Robbie in his Ghost Rider form was running them down with his car that was also on fire.
"Let's get this party started! Hell yeah! Fry, you freaks!" Mick roared as he saw the Ghost Rider and laughed maniacally, spraying the torrent of fire from his flamethrower around, while Snart fired from his Cold Gun and Lisa fired from her gold gun.
Steve threw Mjolnir, knocking some aliens away as Thor slammed the Stormbreaker to the ground as the resulting shockwave knocked away the enemies in their way. Drax lunged at Cull Obsidian from behind, roaring and stabbing him repeatedly in the back as Korg slammed his mace in Cull's face.
Alex Wilder opened fire with his guns aimed at the Ghosts, assassins and aliens coming at him. Karolina fired a light beam as it incinerated the Chitauri, while Gertrude sent Old Lace at Darhk's Ghosts, ripping them apart. Molly grabbed a boulder and threw it at the charging Frost Giants, while Chase fired energy blasts from his Fistigons, taking out more enemies coming their way.
Steve threw Mjolnir at one of the Sakaarans before knocking another one away, while Thor was slicing them down with Stormbreaker and threw it, while Thor caught the hammer and Steve caught the axe.
"No, no, give me that. You have the little one." Thor said as he and Steve switched weapons and Thor flew up.
Oliver was exchanging blows with Malcolm before Tommy entered the fray in his Green Arrow suit as he attacked with his sword, while Malcolm blocked with his bow.
"I'm proud of you, Tommy. So now you're a warrior like me?" Malcolm asked, smirking.
"No. I'm nothing like you. And I'm gonna show you that." Tommy said.
Both Tommy and Oliver were working in tandem, while fighting Malcolm as Tommy pushed him back but then they had to dodge as Adrian threw shurikens at them and Oliver engaged Adrian, while Tommy parried Malcolm's sword.
Rocket, Bucky, May, Deke, Rene, Lyla, Patty, Jason and Helena and the Ravagers opened fire at their enemies, while Frank was loading his machine gun, taking a deep breath.
"One batch, two batch, penny and a dime." Frank muttered before he let out a roar as he opened fire. A grenade flew towards them, knocking them down upon the explosion and Frank recovered quicker than others as he got up and looked up to see a man wearing a shattered skull mask at the top of the steep with an assault rifle in his hand and Frank glared, roaring. "Russo!"
"Missed me, Frankie?!" Russo shouted.
Frank and Russo opened fire at each other, while taking cover behind piles of rubble.
Lucifer saw nearby flaming wreckage and pulled the flame towards his hand, throwing a torrent of fire at Damien Darhk but Darhk extinguished the flames by summoning a pile of dirt.
"You may be dark, but I'm the Devil." Lucifer said as he lifted a pile of rubble, hurling it at Darhk, who threw it away but next thing Darhk knew, Lucifer was inches away from him as he touched Darhk's throat. "Playing with dark magic has a price, one you're about to finally pay, Damien."
Lucifer showed his Devil face and Darhk screamed before he began burning and was consumed by flames as Lucifer smirked as Darhk turned into ashes. Suddenly, Lucifer hissed as some bullets grazed him and his face turned normal as he looked up to see a group of Ghosts, making Lucifer wonder how could they hurt him, unless…
Suddenly, the Ghosts were shot down and Lucifer turned to see Chloe, Dan and Eve who lowered their guns and Dan and Eve gave Lucifer friendly smiles, while Chloe and Lucifer gave each other longing looks full of various emotions. Lucifer and Chloe neared each other and next thing Lucifer knew, she punched him in the face, breaking his nose and Lucifer internally cursed himself for allowing himself to be vulnerable around her.
"That was for leaving me and going back to Hell!" Chloe exploded.
"Chloe, I—" Lucifer stopped, when Chloe suddenly grabbed him by his cheeks and kissed him fiercely before she pulled away with her eyes getting wet.
"And this one's for coming back to me." Chloe said as Lucifer chuckled.
"I hate to interrupt a tender moment but a little help here!" Dan yelled as he continued firing from his gun, while taking cover behind a pile of rubble as the Dark Elves opened fire. Lucifer snapped his fingers and the Dark Elves burst in flames, while Maze and other demons were engaging the Outriders.
"Oh, yeah! You gotta bring us to this party more often, Lucifer!" Maze yelled cheerfully as Lucifer and Chloe laughed, while Amenadiel pulled out his sword and flew down from above, cutting down the incoming enemies.
"At least someone's having fun." Chloe said.
Natasha was exchanging blows with Taskmaster as he wrapped his legs around her and knocked her down, using the same moves she had been using. Natasha got up and pulled out her batons and engaged him but he dodged and blocked before he grabbed her batons and flipped, knocking them both down before he and Natasha got up, both of them using the same pose.
"Imitate this!" Natasha sneered, rushing at Taskmaster, who was ready to counter, when suddenly, Natasha pulled out miniature smoke bombs and threw them as Taskmaster flipped and avoided them but in the second he was distracted, he was tackled down by Alexei and as Taskmaster got up on his feet, Yelena rushed at him with a knife, driving it through his eye as Taskmaster fell down.
"Is this what it's like working with the Avengers?" Yelena asked as she got up, looking around.
"Well, it's bigger than usual this time." Natasha shrugged as they chuckled before noticing Oliver and Tommy preoccupied with Malcolm and Adrian.
"Looks like your husband needs your help. Go. We got this." Yelena encouraged and Natasha nodded as she ran to help Oliver and Tommy, while Yelena and Alexei joined to help others.
Tatsu and Maseo were crossing their swords with China White's knives.
"You should enjoy this while it lasts. You'll both join your son soon enough." White sneered.
"Not before you join Shrieve!" Maseo yelled.
White spun around and kicked Maseo back, while blocking Tatsu's sword with her knives and White cut her in the leg, forcing Tatsu on her knees. White dodged before Maseo could cut her head off but then Tatsu stabbed White in her side as White grunted in pain and Maseo finished her off by stabbing her in her chest.
They turned to see Logan who was fighting someone who looked like dark-haired China White with metallic fingernails, deciding this was Logan's fight as they went to help others.
Lady Deathstrike wrapped her legs around Logan and slammed him to the ground and stabbed him in his side repeatedly as he roared in pain before Logan shook her off and got up on his feet and their claws clashed with sparks flying and the cuts they were inflicting onto the other were healing instantly before Logan grabbed Deathstrike by her arm, slashed her in her side and then spun around, cutting into her eyes and blinding her as Deathstrike screamed in rage, swinging her claws wildly before Logan threw her away.
A grey red-eyed monstrous behemoth with bone protrusions coming out of its body was impaling and trampling everything in its way as Rhodey bombarded it with missiles, Ray fired his blasters, Lisa fired from her gold gun and Allegra fired UV blasts but none of it affected the monster anyhow, much to their shock.
"What the hell is that thing?" Allegra demanded.
"It doesn't matter, move!" Lisa ordered as they dodged while Doomsday ran at them before the Amazons fired arrows but they just bounced off its skin harmlessly.
M'gann flew at Doomsday with the Staff of H'ronmeer, trying to disintegrate it but the blast only seemed to make Doomsday angry as it roared before Amenadiel flew at it with his sword and blocked as it tried to impale him with its bone protrusions. Amenadiel sliced Doomsday across its chest as lightning struck but it didn't affect Doomsday at all as it knocked Amenadiel back. Amenadiel recovered, spitting out blood before flying at it again.
Nyssa and her assassins and Talia and her students were engaged in another battle with the Hand ninjas and the Five Fingers.
Gao threw some of the assassins away with telekinesis before Danny used his Iron Fist, knocking Gao to nearby rubble. Alexandra pulled out her sword as she engaged Talia, while Nyssa engaged Bakuto. Alexandra was surprised by Talia's technique but she adapted quickly but as she swung her sword, Talia used the same move Ra's had used to defeat Oliver before as Talia grabbed the blade and hit Alexandra in the throat. Alexandra choked before Talia disarmed her and cut her head off and she then used both swords to block as Murakami and Nobu engaged her.
"I've fought your father once. I've learned a lot since then." Bakuto said as his and Nyssa's swords crossed.
"Well, you're not the only one who adapts." Nyssa sneered before she dodged as Bakuto almost cut into her shirt but then Colleen rushed in with her sword, channeling chi into it, shattering the blade of Bakuto's sword, much to his shock.
"Impossible… you can't be!" Bakuto yelled as he stared at her in disbelief.
"I told you, I don't need you anymore." Colleen sneered before she spun around, cutting his head off as the body toppled, just like the last time she killed him.
But then, Sowande jumped in, knocking both Nyssa and Colleen down before they recovered, exchanging blows with him but he flipped and dodged and aimed at their pressure points with precise strikes with them barely able to block his attacks, while Talia was preoccupied with Murakami and Danny engaged Nobu before Shang-Chi and Xu Xialing joined the fray. Sowande aimed at Shang-Chi's pressure points but Shang-Chi's reflexes were faster than Sowande had expected as he blocked Sowande's blows with ease and slammed his palms into Sowande's chest, staggering him back before Xu Xialing twirled her rope dart and cut Sowande's head off and knocked Nobu's chain blade away before it would hit Danny, who rushed at Nobu and kicked him in the face and while both master martial artists were engaging him, Xu Xialing focused her attention on the remaining Hand ninjas, twirling her rope dart.
More ninjas were coming their way, when Luke jumped in, raising the palms of his hands. "Time for patty cake!"
Danny and Colleen smirked as they retreated and charging their Iron Fists, slammed them against Luke's hands as the resulting shockwave knocked their enemies back. The ninjas were down for the count but the Hand leaders recovered as they rushed at them again.
Zoom was exchanging blows with Jesse, when Pietro rushed in and knocked him down. Zoom got up, only for Cisco, Gypsy and Breacher to knock him back with vibe blasts before Pietro rushed to him and vibrated his hand and plunged it into Zoom's chest, killing him. Time remnants of Zoom were coming at them before Mjolnir flew into Barry's hand as he raised the hammer high and summoned lightning from above, striking them all down before Thawne appeared in front of them, still in Harry's body.
"You kill me, you kill Harry. Either way, I told you, I always win, Flash." Thawne smirked.
"Not this time." Barry said, throwing Mjolnir aside. "He's mine."
Barry and Thawne then engaged in superspeed chase, while the rest resumed their fight.
Colossus punched King Shark, dazing him and Hulk knocked him down before Blonsky rushed in as they grabbed each other by their hands. Blonsky grunted, staggering back as Hulk headbutted him but Blonsky stood his ground. Hulk headbutted him again, dazing him this time before Hulk pummeled Blonsky relentlessly as he stumbled back. Hulk did a thunderclap as the resulting shockwave sent Blonsky flying few yards away before he buried his feet in the ground to regain his footing. Blonsky rushed at Hulk again but Hulk dodged his blows before grabbing him by his arm and throwing him away and then Hulk jumped off the rubble and landed on top of Blonsky, stomping on him and pummeling him with a furious flurry of punches, not giving him an opportunity to fight back before Blonsky spat and smirked.
"Is this everything you got?" Blonsky gloated.
Next thing Hulk knew, he was punched away but Hulk buried his feet in the ground and then both behemoths charged at each other with a roar.
Kara had sent crashing down one of the Sakaaran Necrocrafts but as she landed, a powerful punch to her face sent flying back as she crashed against the nearby rubble and fell down as a tall bald muscular alien was approaching her. Zor-El flew in, trying to punch Titan but he grabbed Zor-El's fist before knocking him down and kicking him away.
"Leave him alone!" Kara yelled as she got up on her feet, while Titan turned his attention to her.
"The inmates that I fought in the Phantom Zone were nothing to me." Titan said as he and Kara circled each other. "You Kryptonians are the fight I've been hoping for."
"You don't belong here." Kara sneered.
"You're the one that doesn't belong." Titan shot back.
Enraged that Titan tried to kill her father, Kara flew at Titan as they broke through the rubble.
Morgan le Fey threw a group of Wakandans in the air, when a magic blast from Zatanna knocked her down as she landed in front of Morgan, who got up on her feet.
"You think you can best me?" Morgan asked smugly as she tried to throw Zatanna back telekinetically but Zatanna responded with her own telekinetic blast as Morgan staggered and was suddenly restrained by magical chains as Constantine showed up.
"Sorry, luv. You won't be touching her." Constantine said.
Nico then appeared and raised her staff, spinning it around as a cyclone of fire surrounded Morgan. Morgan extinguished the fire but that was only a distraction, when lightning roared in the skies and Constantine, Zatanna and Nico joined their magic together as the combined power of their magic channeled into the lightning struck down upon Morgan, breaking through her magical barrier and in a blink of an eye, there was nothing left behind Morgan but scorched ground at the spot where she had been a moment ago.
Stakar and Aleta Ogords were firing at the Sakaarans, when they saw Ying Nan, who resembled Aleta and shrugged.
"They said that they got doppelgangers." Stakar said.
Caitlin was crossing freeze blasts with Earth-2 Killer Frost, when Chillblaine and Icicle joined the fray and their combined freeze blasts were becoming too much on Caitlin, when suddenly, Bobby slid in on an ice bridge he had created and joined the fray. "Need a hand?"
It wasn't much but they managed to stand their ground, when Snart joined in and a blue beam shot out from his Cold Gun, the freeze beams now in stalemate.
"Burn!" Mick roared as the burst of fire came out from his flamethrower aimed at the three cryo-villains. Chillblaine attempted to extinguish the flames, but the distraction gave Caitlin, Bobby and Snart an opening as they knocked them all back before Mick burned Killer Frost, Chillblaine and Icicle into ashes and Caitlin just stared sadly at the monster wearing her father's face, even though she had accepted he was gone long ago.
Tim Westcott was circling around in sand form, trying to suffocate the Ravagers before Allegra fired an UV blast and Tim fell down, screaming and in burns, when Clark landed in front of Tim as Mjolnir flew into his hand.
"Clark. Don't you see? We used to be good people, now look at us! Look at how far we've fallen! Thanos can make things right!" Tim said.
"You've become the very thing you hate. And now you're going to pay for everything. This is for Alicia!" Clark yelled as he raised Mjolnir high.
Tim opened his mouth but before any pleas for mercy could come out, Clark slammed the hammer at his face in full force, the lightning pulsing through it as an explosion of lightning followed and at the spot where Tim had been was left nothing but pile of ashes and Clark sighed heavily in relief to finally get justice for the woman he had once loved and lost because of Tim.
Clint was firing arrow after arrow, when suddenly a rock knocked one of his arrows away. Clint turned to see Dex throw a card at him but Clint dodged as it grazed his arm. As Dex threw a knife, a billy club flew in, knocking the knife out of its trajectory before Matt jumped in.
"Time for a rematch, Dex." Matt said.
Dex smirked as he picked a rock and a piece of rebar and threw them but Matt blocked them with his billy clubs and Clint fired an arrow but Dex caught it and threw it at Matt, piercing his shoulder. Matt pulled the arrow out and dodged as Dex threw a sharp rock at him but then Sara rushed in from behind, wrapping her legs around Dex's neck and knocking him down. Sara tightened the hold and twisted and there was a sickening 'crack' as Dex's body went limp before Sara got up on her feet as she and Matt smiled at each other and kissed.
A small group of soldiers with Vandal Savage in charge opened fire but Clint fired an explosive arrow, sending the soldiers flying back, while Carter and Kendra flew in, kicking Savage down before he got up to his feet. Kendra and Carter attacked him with their maces but Savage dodged their attacks before he disarmed Kendra of her mace and hit Carter in the head, knocking his mask away. Carter grabbed Savage by his arm and hit him in the face, knocking him down before Savage recovered and kicked Carter back and Carter used his wings to block as Savage threw his knives, when Carter grabbed Kendra by her arm and swung her as she kicked Savage in the face, knocking him down. Before Savage could get up, Kendra had recovered her mace and twirled it, striking Savage in the chin and sending him crashing towards the nearby rubble, taking him out of the fight temporarily.
"You alright?" Carter asked as he turned around and Clint felt his blood run cold as he saw Carter's face but nodded after a moment, weirded out by the doppelganger mess.
Loki and Sif were side-by-side, cutting down Frost Giants, when Thor threw Stormbreaker like a boomerang and landed down as he caught the axe.
"Like old times, right?" Thor asked.
"Only you have a new weapon and Fandral, Volstagg, Hogun and Heimdall are gone." Sif said.
"Well, we have some new friends." Loki quipped as they engaged the Chitauri and Loki stabbed two of them with his daggers. "Never thought I'd fight my own army."
Hunter was exchanging blows with Konstantin Kovar but due to Kovar's physique, Hunter was in a great disadvantage. Kovar pinned Hunter to the nearby rubble and grabbed him by his throat, choking him but next thing Kovar knew, Bobbi got behind him, connecting her battle staves into a staff and grabbing Kovar in a chokehold before she pulled, snapping Kovar's neck as he fell down, while Hunter stared at Bobbi in disbelief as he recovered.
"Hey. I… must've dozed off or something, because when I came to, you were gone and then this Doctor Strange showed up out of some glowing portal and said that you needed help." Bobbi said as Hunter stared at her with eyes getting wet. "Hunter? Are you—"
Next thing Bobbi knew, Hunter tackled her to the ground as he kissed her passionately. She was caught off-guard at first but gave in after a moment as they held each other by their cheeks.
Corvus was cutting down the Amazons coming his way, when Peter held two web lines connected to two piles of rubble and entered the fray by launching himself in the air like a slingshot. Peter fired web bullets at Corvus's face, dazing him, while Peter landed in front of him. "Missed me?"
"Wretched insect!" Corvus snarled as he attacked with his glaive but metallic arms protruded from Peter's back as he blocked Corvus's attacks before punching him and kicking him back before Dick glided in and kicked Corvus down.
Corvus got up as he began exchanging blows with Dick, who blocked with his bracers, trapping the glaive between the scallops and disarming Corvus before Dick landed several blows at Corvus and Corvus staggered back before he saw a beeping device on his chest as it exploded, killing him.
Oliver ducked as Adrian threw a shuriken at him and attacked with his sword and Oliver dodged before Adrian threw more shurikens but Oliver blocked them with his bow as their weapons crossed. Tommy and Malcolm were engaged in a swordfight as sparks flied while metal hit metal before Malcolm cut Tommy across his wrist.
"You've got a good form but you still have much to learn, Tommy. It's not too late to join us." Malcolm said.
"Never! Mom would be ashamed of you if she could see you right now." Tommy countered.
Infuriated, Malcolm roared as he and Tommy rushed at each other again as their swords crossed in a stalemate.
Adrian kicked Oliver back but in that moment Natasha rushed at him and climbed on him, doing a Hurricanrana with her legs, knocking him down as they rolled down the steep, while Oliver slid down, following them. Adrian got up on his feet and attacked with his sword before Slade entered the fray and blocked with his own sword before he punched Adrian, who staggered back. Adrian threw shurikens at them but Oliver and Slade dodged before Slade stabbed Adrian in the hip as he screamed in pain and backed away before Natasha jumped in and kicked him in the face, dazing him.
"This was for Malone!" Oliver shouted as he stabbed Adrian in the thigh with an arrow and Adrian fell on his knees. "This was for my family!" He stabbed Adrian in the shoulder with another arrow as Adrian smirked. "And this…" He plunged the last arrow into Adrian's heart. "…was for my son."
Adrian laughed as he laid on his back, dying, his voice a hoarse whisper. "You… are… a… monster… after… all…"
"No." Oliver said firmly as he neared his face inches away from Adrian's. "I did what I had to do to stop you because you are a monster. I'll never be like you, Adrian."
Hearing that, Adrian's smirk vanished as he coughed out blood, knowing he had failed utterly in his mission. With one last cough, he laid down on the ground, his glassy eyes staring without seeing.
"Well said." Natasha said as she gave Oliver an assuring look before they went to help others.
Malcolm had managed to disarm Tommy of his sword as he smirked. "I'm proud of you. You've come a long way."
"I don't need your approval anymore. You've become the very monster you hate." Tommy sneered.
"Don't you dare speak to me like that!" Malcolm yelled.
Tommy was about to disarm Malcolm, when suddenly, Thea rushed in with a roar, blocking Malcolm's sword with her own before Tommy punched Malcolm, dazing him.
"It's over!" Oliver shouted as he notched an arrow and as Malcolm's vision cleared, the arrow hit him right between his eyes as he swayed as everyone smiled at each other, happy to be finally rid of Malcolm Merlyn and Adrian Chase for good.
Strange lifted the aliens in the air before slamming them to the ground as Tony landed to face him.
"Hey. You said one out of 14 million, we win, yeah? Tell me this is it." Tony said.
"If I tell you what happens, it won't happen." Strange pointed out and Tony nodded.
"You better be right." Tony said.
Diana was using her sword and shield to block the Necroswords Hela had conjured before Diana got behind Hela and cut her in her side as Hela hissed and swung her arm, knocking Diana back. Diana jumped to avoid as Hela aimed at her legs before Diana cut Hela's arm off and stabbed her in the chest before kicking her back. Before Hela could recover, Diana slammed her bracers together, creating a shockwave that sent Hela flying away.
Kara and Titan had gotten up, breaking through the rubble, while Titan was gaining the upper hand and Kara had to admit, he was even more brutal opponent than Reign and much stronger. Titan kneed Kara in the face repeatedly before punching her as she fell down. Titan punched her in the face again as she stumbled back and he pinned her to the rubble, kneeing her in the groin and punching her again but Kara blocked the following punch and went to the offensive, landing several blows at Titan but Titan punched her in the chin, sending her flying away as she crashed against the ruins. Titan grabbed Kara and slammed her to a nearby concrete pillar and Kara screamed as the electric cables in the pillar electrocuted her. Titan kneed Kara in the groin and pummeled her, leaving her bruised and bloodied but Kara ducked the following punch and got behind Titan but he elbowed her in the face, dazing her before Titan grabbed Kara and slammed her to the ground. Kara was on her knees as she saw a bone spike protrude from Titan's right arm.
"Time to die, Kryptonian." Titan said.
As he attempted to finish her off, Kara grabbed Titan's hand, glaring, with the tip of the spike inches away from her face as they both struggled. Kara managed to gather all of her strength and pushed Titan back as he rolled down the ground, while she got up on her feet, seething heavily. Kara let out a roar of rage and jumped at Titan, who was trying to get up but a powerful punch to his face knocked him down before Kara threw a left hook as Titan rolled down the ground. Titan tried to get up but Kara kicked him as he rolled down again before he staggered up on his feet as he and Kara exchanged glares. Titan tried to stab Kara but she raised her arm to block before punching Titan and headbutting him and Kara then threw a right hook at his face as he stumbled back.
Titan recovered as he attacked again with the spike, trying to impale her but Kara ducked to avoid and spun around as she delivered an uppercut to Titan's chin with all her strength, sending Titan flying in the air. Titan hit the ground face first as Kara breathed heavily before Titan got up on his feet, much to her shock before he turned to face her and Kara saw that the bone spike in his wrist was broken and was now sticking out of his chest as she realized he had been impaled upon hitting the ground.
"Good fight." Titan said with a chuckle of satisfaction, much to Kara's surprise before he swayed, dead.
Kara breathed heavily and fell down on her knees tiredly and looked broken, never having any idea she could be capable of such brutality or having such dark side inside of her as her father approached her and placed his hand on her shoulder in comfort, while she got up and hugged him.
They turned to see Doomsday giving others trouble and nodded at each other before flying at it. Doomsday punched Zor-El away before scratching Kara across her chest with its claws as she screamed before he threw her away but both Kryptonians recovered in the air before flying at Doomsday, each of them delivering a powerful punch to Doomsday as the monster staggered.
Mark Mardon flew into the air, trying to strike everyone down with lightning but Storm threw her own lightning at him, sending him flying away. Mardon formed a tornado but a gust of wind from behind that Storm had formed sent Mardon into the eye of the tornado that Storm took control of as Mardon gasped, feeling the air getting sucked out of his lungs before he fell down, unconscious. Storm then summoned lightning, striking down as many of the enemy forces as possible.
Fitz and Daisy continued running with the Gauntlet, with Creed and Deathstrike chasing them, when Pietro, Jesse and Wally knocked them down in superspeed.
"Get it as far away from here as you can!" Fitz ordered as he handed Wally the Gauntlet and Wally nodded as he sped off.
Jesse and Pietro were helping Fitz, who was firing his ICER and Daisy, who was quaking away everyone coming their way, when Aida appeared.
"Game over, Leopold." Aida said.
Jesse and Pietro rushed at her but she blasted them away but then a fiery chain wrapped around her as Robbie in the Ghost Rider form roared and Aida screamed until the flames consumed her, burning her flesh and revealing a skeleton until there was nothing left but ashes.
Barry and Thawne were exchanging blows before Barry pinned Thawne to the wall, pointing his sword at Thawne's chest.
"How are you gonna live with yourself, if you kill your friend?" Thawne gloated.
Barry knew he couldn't kill Thawne in Harry's body… but there were other options, he just needed to incapacitate Thawne long enough. Barry cut Thawne in the leg, cutting off the tendon before Barry punched Thawne in the face, knocking him out.
Wally continued running but stopped, when a line of fire barricaded his path and he looked up to see Zod. Zod flew down to Wally, when Clark knocked Zod back with Mjolnir and flew to Wally.
"Give me the Gauntlet!" Clark ordered.
Wally handed Clark the Gauntlet as Clark flew off but Zod knocked him down, causing for Clark to lose grip of it as it landed on the ground with a 'thud'. Thanos rushed to it but Diana rushed at him with her sword as Thanos used his own to block before Kara flew in, punching him in the face as Thanos slid down the ground. Thanos threw his sword, forcing both women to dodge as Thanos ran to grab the Gauntlet. Mjolnir flew at him but Thanos dodged before it flew to Barry, who rushed at him but Thanos dodged again before throwing Barry away before Thanos blocked the Uru arrows Oliver fired at him and staggered back as each arrow created an explosion of lightning upon impact.
"Cap? I hope you still got a good swing." Logan reminded as Steve nodded.
Steve grabbed Logan, spinning him around as Logan roared, while Steve threw him at Thanos. Logan pulled out his claws, roaring as he flew towards the Mad Titan, about to stab him but Thanos grabbed Logan and slammed him to the ground and punched him in the face repeatedly, dazing him before Thanos kicked Logan away. Tony flew to the Gauntlet and grabbed it but Thanos grabbed Tony and threw him away as well as the Gauntlet rolled down the ground, when Thor rushed in with Stormbreaker and with Logan and Steve, who got on Thanos's back, tried to cut Thanos's head off by grabbing the axe and pulling.
Tony got up, when he saw Strange, who looked at him and lifted his finger and Tony realized this was it, when he saw someone approaching the Gauntlet.
Thanos shook Steve and Logan off and knocked Thor away, when he eyed them angrily. "You can't stop me! I am… inevitable!" He declared, when he heard pulse of energy and widened his eyes.
Everyone turned to see Barry, who had put the Gauntlet on and raised his hand and gasped in pain as the energy was eating up his arm and he let out heavy gasps as he looked at Thanos defiantly.
"And I… am… The Flash." Barry declared as he snapped his fingers and then there was a loud 'BANG' and blinding flash of light.
Barry looked around to see orange cloudy skies and water everywhere and then looked at his arm to see that he didn't have the Gauntlet in his hand anymore and the burns were gone. Then, in front of him appeared a red-haired woman and Barry's eyes got wet as he realized who it was.
"Mom?" Barry asked.
"My beautiful boy." Nora said.
Barry stared at her for a moment before rushing in to hug her as he sobbed, while she soothed him as she used to, when he was a boy and she pulled away, holding him by his face.
"You did it. I'm proud of you, Barry. You saved the multiverse." Nora assured and Barry looked around as he wondered where he was.
"Am I…" Barry trailed off.
"No. Using the Stones is going to come with a price but you're not dead. Your journey is over. You don't need to run anymore. Now you can finally rest with those you love. And one day you'll see me and your father again." Nora said as she kissed him on his forehead. "I love you, my sweet little boy."
Barry almost broke down in tears as he hugged her tightly, not wanting to let her go ever again, fearing that he would lose her forever if he let her go. "I love you too, Mom."
Rocket opened fire at Leviathan that opened its jaws as it flew towards him, when it turned into dust.
Zor-El and Kara were on the ground as Doomsday rushed at them and they covered their eyes, when, much to their shock, all they felt was dust on their clothes and hair and face and they looked to see that Doomsday was gone.
Clark had Zod in chokehold, when Zod turned into dust right in his arms.
Hulk continued exchanging blows with Blonsky, when much to Hulk's shock, Blonsky turned into dust.
Deathstrike and Creed had recovered but were shocked to see people around them turn into dust, when they turned into dust too.
Frank took cover behind the rubble as Russo fired at him before turning into dust.
Drax was fighting Aldar, who for some reason looked like Drax, when much to Drax's shock, Aldar turned into dust.
Thawne was spasming violently as red lightning shot out of his body before red particles blasted into the sky and dissipated.
All across the battlefield the heroes and defending armies saw their enemies turn into dust, while Thanos was disbelieved that he had lost and had been beaten by the humans of all people. Realizing that his fate had been sealed, Thanos was not going to give them the satisfaction of watching him complain at his defeat as Thanos calmly sat down and watched the sunset solemnly and quietly with dignity as his allies were fading away before he closed his eyes as ironically, the Mad Titan himself turned into dust, blown away by the wind, just like his victims did before.
Barry staggered on his feet as the Gauntlet slipped out of his arm, covered in burns before he sat down on a pile of rubble as a makeshift seat.
"Damn, Barry. You did it." Oliver said as he, Cisco, Ralph, Caitlin, Jesse, Wally and Allegra approached.
"Thanks." Barry said, sighing heavily. "I think I'm gonna need at least a week's rest."
"And then you can run again to save the day, right?" Cisco quipped.
"I… I don't think so." Barry said tiredly. "I don't feel my speed anymore. My connection to Speed Force, it's gone."
Cisco and Caitlin widened their eyes. "Wait, you're saying…"
"He's lost his powers."
They turned to see Thawne stirring and getting up as they all glared.
"How the hell is he still alive?!" Oliver demanded as they prepared their weapons and powers.
"No, it's OK." Barry assured.
"It's me." Harry said as he got up on his feet. "It's really me."
The gentleness, humbleness and regret in his tone convinced Barry, Cisco, Caitlin, Allegra and the others who had known Harry for a time as everyone relaxed, though Oliver, Sara and Lyla tensed to see Dan next to Lucifer and Chloe, while Lucifer, Chloe and Dan glared at Clark for a moment before each group relaxed upon realizing they had helped each other.
"Using the Infinity Stones takes a heavy toll. No ordinary human would've survived. Barry's connection to Speed Force, given that it's one of the universal forces, just like the Stones, was the only thing keeping him alive." Harry said.
"And now it's gone." Patty said as they looked at Barry in sympathy for losing his powers and Patty held him by his shoulder. "Well, powers or not, you're our hero, Barry."
Barry chuckled as his friends hugged him and everyone cheered, celebrating their victory and that they were able to save the entire multiverse.
As I've said before, group fight scenes, when juggling between such a large amount of characters in battles of epic proportions like Endgame is tricky, so I focused on the characters and fights that would be interesting to see and tried to switch between them sensibly.
Stakar's and Aleta's reaction to Ying Nan is because of Michelle Yeoh playing both Aleta Ogord and Ying Nan in MCU and Aldar was played by Dave Bautista too, hence why he looks like Drax. Oliver, Sara and Lyla reacting to Dan Espinoza is because of Kevin Alejandro who also played Sebastian Blood and Lucifer's, Chloe's and Dan's reactions to Clark are because of Tom Welling playing Marcus Pierce/Cain and Clint's reaction to Carter is a reference to Falk Hentschel playing an assassin Marcus Scarlotti who appeared in Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and supposedly almost killed Clint at one point. Also could've had Clark reacting to Lisa and Bobbi, given that Peyton List also played Lucy Lane and Adrianne Palicki played Lindsay Harrison in Smallville but I didn't want to put in too many doppelganger reactions and I couldn't fit it into the chapter, but Clark's reaction to Bobbi in particular would have been awkward for sure, LOL!
And hope you enjoyed Tim getting exactly what he deserves for Alicia and Steve doing "fastball special" with Logan, even though Thanos would be too tough for it to take him down and the Smallville references. I get why other people have issues with Melissa Benoist's Arrowverse Kara but I always find it easier to just remove her ego and self-righteousness altogether and when it comes down to it, she is open to shades of grey and getting her hands dirty if it's necessary, plus, the Smallville fight with Clark vs. Titan is among the most badass ones I've ever seen in TV series.
The part where Barry sees Nora is an inspiration from Raptor2216's 'Worlds Collide, Heroes Unite', thank you for permission to use it.
I was always going to have Barry use the Gauntlet and lose his powers without killing him, since I kind of did kill Barry off before in my DC version of Endgame and couldn't bring myself to kill him again but still he had to pay a price for using the Stones. Now, Tony redeemed himself more or less in IW/Endgame but the EDITH thing in Far From Home ruined him again and I didn't have Tony ruined by Accords.
And now the epilogue.
