The Breton stood at the foot of the now charred corpse of the Khajiit, S'vashni. The two swords once held by the cat now rest in her hands.

The duel was swift, fierce, and single mistake could've ended it for the Breton, but yet she still stands.

"A one on one duel, and you shouted her down. May I say that it is rather similar to…" A Nord's voice speaks up from behind her.

"Like Ulfric to Torygg, I know Valdimar." Laessa felt the grip and weight of both of the special swords the Khajit wielded.

"Only an observation my Thane." The Nord gives a bow of his head.

"She was possibly the best blade wielder I have ever fought and bested in my time travelling. I make the claim to be the best to wield two swords, but there she was, sitting in that ruined tower waiting for her answer." The woman pulled the Krosis mask down from her face.

"It's now weird, in a way. With her, I felt something all my previous battles and boasts lacked." She looks up to the sky, the snow gently letting up.

"And what is that, my Thane?" The Nord asks.

"Vindication? Fulfillment? Mayhap satisfaction. Something for sure. For before, I boasted to keep myself focused, like a cushion to lay my head on. Now… I'm more than glad to say that I." She grips the swords tight and slices the air, imagining her opponent in front of her.

"I, Laessa Dalont, wanderer and Dragonborn, am the best blademaster there is in Skyrim." She stands relaxed after her showing, proud and tall even for her short frame.

"I never doubted your claims. Shall we be off? Amalee has finished the grave." Valdimar motions to the Nord lady waving exuberantly.

"Yes…" She nods as she grabs the charred khajit's leg and drags the body over.

With a quick heave, the body went into the hole and a quick Fus shoved the dirt and snow over the body. The trio turned to walk away, going to their next destination.

"Thank you S'vashni… For giving me a good battle." She quietly says and offers her prayer for the cat.

The custom track they made for the two fights for this questline really make you feel a sense of battle, desperation almost, the will to survive...

Something like that. This quest was such a good addition to the character of Laessa, like it was perfectly made for her. Or I made her perfect for it. Either or.

Another tale finished and to say, I did shout at her and slashed at her while she was down. It's real easy that way.

Have a good day!
