Team RWBY enter the dorm room with Yang carrying a sleeping Hope. Once inside the team gets settled for the night, but Weiss notices Blake having a conflicted look on her face.

"Blake?" Weiss asks earning a startled 'huh?'. "Are you okay? You look distracted."

"Y-yeah, I just..." Blake looks to see the others looking over with worry for their teammate. "I..."

"Blake," Ruby starts. "You don't have to be afraid. You can tell us. What's on your mind?" She states cheerfully.

Blake looks to see the nods of agreement. With a sigh Blake looks down. "Well, would you guys please keep it a secret?"

"Of course." Yang smiles.

"Yeah!" Ruby agrees.

Weiss nods. "What is it?"

With a heavy sigh Blake closes her eyes before bringing her hands up to the bow on her head. Pulling the string and untying it she reveals a pair of black cat ears that twitch upon being free. The girls eyes widen realizing what their teammate, their friend had been hiding.

"Your a Faunus?" Ruby questions earning a nod. "That. Is. Awesome!" She whisper shouts. She was trying to keep from waking Hope. Blake furrows her brow in confusion upon Ruby's statement.

Yang laughs. "Was that it? I thought this was going to be something bad with how you were acting."

Weiss frowns. Her thoughts immediately going to her father. Blake caught the look trying to determine what her thoughts were. After a moment Weiss realized the stares. "Oh, sorry. It's just," she sighs. "I'm still trying to get my fathers views away from my life."

Blake nod in understanding. "You grew up with that kind of thinking. It's understandable."

"It wasn't just that." Weiss admits. "When I was growing up my father basically started a war with the White Fang. I had to watch family friends disappear, Train cars of Dust get stolen, and Board members getting executed. They shaped my reality of things. Then Hope enters my life and it's all flipped on its head. I just..."

Blake nods then sighs. "Weiss. I'm sorry that happened to you. The White Fang wasn't always like that." Weiss looked to her in confusion. Blake looks to see her face. "Yes, I was once a member of the White Fang." Ruby and Yang snap their heads to her.

"What?" Ruby asks.

Blake shifts uncomfortably. "I was a member most of my life. You could say I was born into it." She explains. "Back then things were different. In the ashes of war the White Fang rose up as a symbol of peace and unity for humanity and the Faunus. Of course, despite being promised equality, the Faunus were subjected to discrimination and hate. Humanity still thought of us as lesser beings. And so, the White Fang rose up as a voice of our people. And I was there." Ruby and Yang looked on taking in every word. Weiss was stunned. She wasn't sure what to think.

"I was at the front of every rally." Blake continues. "I took part in every boycott. I actually thought we were making a difference. But I was just a youthful optimist. Then, five years ago, our leader stepped down, and a new one took his place. A new leader, with a new way of thinking."

"Violence." Ruby says sadly.

"Yes." Blake sighs. "Our peaceful protests were being replaced with organized attacks. We were setting fire to shops that refused to serve us, hijacking cargo from companies that used Faunus labor. And the worst part was, it was working. We were being treated like equals. But not out of respect.."

Yang frowned. "Out of fear." She finished earning a nod from Blake.

"And because of that I left." Blake says. "I decided I didn't want to take part in their violence and that I would dedicate my life to being a Huntress."

Weiss looks down. "I never knew." She mutters. "Blake I..." She sighs. "You don't have to be ashamed for that. As I said earlier I don't like what the White Fang dose," Weiss frowns. "Currently." She adds. "I won't support them as they are now, but... you said your not one of them anymore right?"

Blake smiles. "No I haven't been for a while."

Weiss walks over taking a seat next to Blake. "Then it doesn't matter if your a Faunus or a human." Blake's eyes widened. "I mean just look at me. I'm quite literally raising a Faunus daughter. Ever since she entered my life I've been striving to be better, for her sake." Weiss explains. "No matter what any human says out their..." Weiss points her finger to Blake. "Your a person. Your just as human as Yang, Ruby, or even me." Blake's eyes began to well up in tears. "I won't let people talk bad about Hope because of her wings, and don't you let anyone talk badly about you just because you have adorable little cat ears." Blake began to cry leaning into a hug which Weiss happily accepts.

After a moment Yang speaks up. "This got way more philosophical and political than I expected." The statement caused the group to laugh. Yang then looks to Weiss with a mischievous grin. "Also... did you say Blake's ears were adorable?" Weiss' face turns bright red in embarrassment.

"Yang please no." Weiss says hiding her face in her hands.

"Yang yes!!!" Yang laughs.

Meanwhile in Ozpin's office the man sat at his chair waiting. Then the elevator dings. "Come in." He says and the doors open. On the other side was Tai and Raven. Raven was in a wheelchair being pushed around by Tai. "Raven?" He mutters.

Raven scowls. "Ozpin."

"It's been quite a while Raven." Ozpin states taking a sip from his mug.

"Not long enough." Raven says coldly.

Ozpin sighs. "Raven I understand that you don't like me. Tell me, why are you here?"

"Because I didn't have a choice!" She glares. "A massive monster shows up and attacks me and my camp so I had to leave to survive."

Ozpin's eyes flicker with understanding. "Who did the beast target specifically?" He asks.

Raven gives a questioning glance. "Me."

"That must mean your a Maiden." Ozpin states leaning forward with interest.

Ravens eyes widened. How? I... I didn't even...

"The beast has been hunting Maidens fairly recently." Ozpin explains. "It seems to be attracted to the magical energy they possess." He then stands walking over. "If you have the Maidens power she must have trusted you a great deal." Ozpin saw the guilty look on Ravens face. His look then hardened. "You killed her didn't you." Raven glared.

"I did everything I could to train her." Raven snarls. "No matter how much I trained her no matter how much I pushed her she couldn't take it. What I did was mercy." Tai looked down in disbelief. "She would've been hunted her whole life and suffered worse than anyone could imagine. Whether you like it or not it was her choice. She chose."

Ozpin sighs. "I had known she wasn't ready for that kind of responsibility." He says approaching. Once he's close enough he lays a hand on her shoulder. "I may not like your decision, but what's done is done. If she truly chose this then make her choice worth it." Raven looked down avoiding the mans eyes. "I will give you a chance to come back. To join the fight again." Raven looked at him furiously. "We need you now more than ever. If you do then I can supply you with a new state of the Art Atlas prosthetic, and I'm sure you'll want to spend some time with your daughter."

Raven's face softened upon mention of her daughter. With a sigh she spoke. "I'll do it." She says stunning Tai and earning a smile from Ozpin. "But..." Raven adds causing Ozpin's smile to turn into a frown. "No more secrets. Not after what happened last time you hid details from us."

Ozpin looked down in thought. He sighs. "Understood."

Back in the dorm Ruby, Yang, and Blake giggle at Weiss' misfortune at Hopes newly discovered rebellion. "But I'm not tired." Hope pouts before yawning countering her statement.

Weiss puts her palm to her head in exhaustion. Then an idea comes to mind. Looks like I'm taking a page from fathers book. Bribery. With a smirk Weiss looks back to Hope. "What if I sang your favorite song?" Hopes eyes widened. She really loved hearing that song. "If I sang it would you go to bed?"

"Yes mama!" Hope smiles.

"Crisis averted!" Yang shouts causing the others to laugh.

Weiss then helped Hope under the covers and crawled into bed beside her. "Alright. You ready?" Weiss asks with a smirk. This was too easy. She thought.

"Hush your cries

Close your eyes

Stay with me

Let's just dream

Quietly

Of what might be

Calm your fear

I'll be near

To you

I'll cling

Rest my friend

Time can mend

Many things

I don't know the answers

Tomorrow's still unknown

But I can make this promise

You won't be alone

I don't know where we should go

Just feeling farther from our goal

I don't know what path we will be shown

But I know that when I'm with you

I'm at home

Yes, I know that when I'm with you

I'm at home

There's a quiet place

In my embrace

A haven of safety where

I'll dry your tears

Shelter here

In my care

But even when we stumble

And someday when we fall

What I will remember

That I had you through it all

I don't know where we should go

Just feeling farther from our goal

I don't know what path we will be shown

But I know that when I'm with you I'm at home

Yes, I know that when I'm with you I'm at home

Yes, I know that when I'm with you I'm at home"

Once Weiss finished she looked to see Hope fast asleep. "Works every time." She whispers with a smirk. She looks to see Yang and Ruby had also fallen asleep during the song. Blake smirks at her before reaching over turning off the light and getting comfortable in bed with her cat ears still visible. Weiss smiles and turns to the sleeping Hope. She leans down kissing her forehead before letting her self fall into the blissful silence of sleep.

The next morning Weiss and Hope walk along the campus halls with smiles on their faces. Inside Weiss' pocket were the Twins. Today Weiss was going to take Hope to the Movie Theatre. Yang had shown Hope a trailer for one on her Scroll and like that she was hooked. Weiss was obviously annoyed at Yang for that, but also thankful. Whether she would admit that or not is debatable. The film was titled Child Of The Sky. The film itself was rated for kids so Weiss wasn't worried on that front. She was however still cautious, a little over cautious if you asked the Twins. She was looking for even the slightest hint of danger. Once they reach the bullhead to Vale, Weiss checks her scroll. They had to hurry a little bit if they wanted to see any of the previews.

Yang was rather out of it in the morning. After Weiss took Hope and left she to see a movie Yang got a message from her father. Today she would be with her mother. Finally after all these years she could get the answers she had been searching for. Yet she was afraid to even think of asking. Ruby could see Yang's stress and wanted to help so she sat next to the oblivious Yang and gave a hug from the side.

Yang snaps out of her thoughts and looks to Ruby with a smile. "Thanks Ruby." Yang hugs back for a moment and they part.

"You okay?" Ruby asks.

Yang frowns with a sigh. "I don't know. My mother wants to spend time with me, but..." She buries her head in her hands. Ruby nods in understanding. Then Yang's scroll goes off signaling it was time to go. With a sigh Yang gets up. "Wish me luck sis."

Ruby smiles. "You'll be fine." She says waving it off. Yang chuckles at Ruby's optimism.

Meanwhile in Vale Weiss and Hope enter theater after purchasing two tickets. They had made it with ten minutes to spare. They walk up to the concessions getting popcorn and two waters before going to showing room 11. Once inside they quickly found their seats and waited. The theater was about half filled. Soon the screen flashes to life as advertisements and trailers began to play. Weiss looks over to Hope who is in complete awe. Looking down she saw the Twins who were equally happy. Sharing a single popcorn about twice the size of their heads.

Next the screen shows the raging ocean as lightning strikes. From under the water a giant dragon like Grimm was thrown out. A Feilong if Weiss recalled. It cuts away showing Vale, before cutting again to show three men fishing at the docks. One seems to see something as his eyes widened and he backs up in fear. Off in the distance rapidly approaching we're massive black dorsal fins. It cuts away again as words are showcased. "The King Has Awokan" The next shot showed a massive slightly inaccurate look of Godzilla giving out an inaccurate roar.

The twins gasped at the sight. Weiss knew they Recognized the beast. "What is that?" She whispers to them.

The two look to Weiss. "Later." They whisper back. Weiss nods accepting that.

At Beacon Academy Yang walks through the halls before finally reaching a garden area with a white building at the center in that building sat Raven Branwen in a wheelchair by a table. With a deep breath Yang approaches. Raven smiles upon sight of her daughter.

"Yang." She greets. "You made it."

Yang held a look of nervousness as she sat across form her mother. "It took me a bit to find this place." She admits. "Never been to this part of the school."

Raven chuckles at that. "I suppose that's understandable. Either way your here now, and we have a lot to talk about."

In Ozpin's office Willow, Amber, and Glynda wait for the headmaster and General Ironwood to return. They planned to discuss the next move on Battra.

"I still don't understand." Amber states. "Can't Atlas just shoot it out of the sky?"

Willow shakes her head. "No. Our weapons would have no effect on it."

Glynda sighs. "Our only hope is, well Hope. Once she's strong enough and old enough she'll have to fight it."

Willow puts her hand to her chin in thought. "Magic like what the maidens have, and Ozpin's could harm it as well." She suggests.

"As would miss Rose's silver eyes." Glynda states. "Though only two of those options have the potential to succeed, and Miss Rose much like Hope is not ready for that."

Willow walks over to the window with a sigh. "We are running out of time."

Weiss and Hope walk out of the theater with big smiles on their face. Hope was practically skipping causing Weiss to giggle at Hopes antics. "Did you like the movie?" Weiss asks.

"It was awesome!" She cheers. "The way she saved everyone, and flew around! Do you think I can be like her one day?"

Weiss' smile softens. "If you put your mind to it... You will." Weiss then turns on her scroll to see a message from Yang.

Hours after Weiss The Twins and Hope went to the movies Team RWBY walks down the streets of Vale with Hope. Ruby was smiling brightly, Yang was laughing lightly at a joke Little Hope had told, Hope was currently sitting on said brawlers shoulders giggling, and Blake was smiling lightly overhearing them while she reading her book. All of a sudden a stomach could be heard growling. The team turns to Weiss as the heiress blush's in embarrassment.

Yang laughs. "Nice!"

"Yang!" Weiss shouts in embarrassment. Hope giggles at her mothers reaction causing Weiss to pout. "I've only had popcorn today."

Blake places a hand on Weiss' shoulder. "I think we could all use some food." She states.

"Yeah," Ruby says.

Yang thinks about it for a moment. "Alright. What about you Hope?"

"Yup." She says cheerfully.

Ruby thinks for a moment then looks at the street their on. "Oh!" She says. "Yang what about Living Fantasies!" Yang's eyes widened.

"Yes! Oh man we have to take them there!" Yang exclaims.

"Living Fantasies?" Blake questions.

Yang shrugs. "It's a family diner. Our dad was friends with the owner. He's kind of like an uncle to us." Yang explains.

Weiss sighs. "Alright."

After turning the corner the Team saw the restaurant. After heading inside the team is greeted by a girl with long black hair wearing a white crop top with a black miniskirt kept up by a pair of red suspenders. On her chest was a name tag which read Tifa.

"Hello and welcome to your Living Fantasies." She greets. "A table for five?"

Weiss nods. "Yes please."

After a few moments the girl led them to a table. "Your waiter will be with you shortly."

After a few moments the girls began some small talk while looking over the items on the menu. A little bit later a man walks over. He wore a black coat that buttoned up in an angle with a pair of black gloves. His hair mirrored his clothes while his eyes were hazel. What surprised Blake and Weiss most however was how similar he looked compared to Ren from Team JNPR.

Ruby gasps. "Uncle Monty!"

"What are you doing here!" Yang adds cheerfully.

"Did you think I wouldn't notice my favorite Nieces coming into my restaurant?" 'Uncle Monty' smirks. "Brought some friends this time I see."

"Yup!" Ruby says excitedly.

"Blake." Blake waves.

"I'm Weiss, and this is my daughter Hope." Weiss introduces. 'Uncle Monty's' eyes flash in curiosity.

"A pleasure to meet you all" He smiles. "So what can I get started for you all?"

Weiss looks at the menu and raises a brow at the first thing on the list. "Dose this say Swordfish?"

"Yup." Ruby smiles. "Swordfish with dressing."

"What kind of dressing?" Blake asks a little too quickly.

Yang raises a brow. "It has options if you read it. Now that I think about it didn't the cafeteria have swordfish?"

Back at Beacon Ozpin, Amber, Ironwood, Glynda, and Willow discuss the next corse of action. However during the meeting Ironwood received a call.

"I see. Thank you." He hangs up with a horrified look on its face. "It changed corse."

"Pardon?" Ozpin say not believing he had heard correctly.

"It changed corse before reaching Atlas." Ironwood clarifies. "It's heading here."

Ozpin sighs. "Prepare our defenses and have the alarms ready to be activated. Transports need to be prepared to evacuate the citizens."

"Oz?" Ironwood questions.

"Now!!" Ozpin demands. Ironwood shakily nods and runs off. "Miss Schnee you are to take Amber and yourself to your shuttle bring anyone else with you. I'll be sending word to Raven and Tai." Willow nods and begins wheeling Amber away. Now only Glynda was in the room with Ozpin.

"Professor Ozpin. What do we do?" Glynda asks.

"We defend this tower at all costs." Ozpin answer. "Have we heard from Qrow?"

"Only through Raven."

"Then he's alive. Good." Ozpin takes a paper and a pen before hastily writing a message onto it. He then rolls it up. "Give this to Raven. It's a message for Qrow. Once your done have the staff and students prepare to defend this tower and the kingdom till evacuation is complete. Ruby Rose and Hope must be kept alive at all costs. If either one of them dies anything we do will be simply biding time." Glynda nods and takes the message before leaving.

Team RWBY and Hope all sigh in content having finished eating what was essentially their dinner for the night. The sun was starting to set and the five were ready to head back to Beacon. Then Blake notices something.

"Hey isn't that an attack formation?" She asks pointing to the Atlesian fleet in the sky. Weiss looks out and frowns.

"Yes it is." Weiss says. "Why are they doing that now?" Just then Ruby's scroll goes off.

She quickly answers it. "Dad?"

"Ruby! Thank god. Are you with your sister and teammates?" Tai questions hastily.

"Yeah?" Ruby answers. She looked between her teammates in confusion.

"Good get on a bullhead have them take you to Atlas." Tai instructs.

"Why?" Ruby asks. "Dad your scaring me."

"Shit!!" Just then the call ends abruptly.

"Dad!? DAD?!" Ruby began to panic.

"Ruby what's wrong?" Yang asks worriedly. "What happened?"

Just then the Atlesian fleet opens fire upon something in the distance and the city Sirens begin going off.

Weiss' eyes widened in fear. "No. Not now."
