Author's Note:

Struck by nostalgia, I went to watch one of my favorite franchises from my childhood, Digimon.

Precisely I looked, Digimon Adventure: Last Evolution - Kizuna ...

Heck I haven't cried that much since watching Iron-Man die on the movie screen!

This is even worse than Stan Lee's death!

The one thing in my entire life that made me feel sadder than that was the death of grandma Maria and grandpa Paul!

My lovely Agumon and Gabumon went away like dust in the wind.

Certainly I have found that there is a Continuity Reboot, Digimon Adventure: (2020).

But it still hurts to see the bittersweet ending to such an important piece from my childhood.

I feel old all of a sudden.

It felt like yesterday I was watching the first Digimon movie when I see Agumon and Gabumon team up to become Omnimon.

Today I'm on the verge of getting my diploma and getting a paid job.

Even as I grow up I can still carry the things I love into my heart and write stories about my favorite characters from my childhood.

POV Narrator

A moment ago, Violet and Arkan, both find themselves in the middle of a dead end.

BAMF

Then as if by magic, they both disappeared in a cloud of pure darkness, leaving behind a puddle of ink and a smell of ash.

BAMF

The young sorcerer and the model student instantly reappeared on top of the roof of a building not far from the cul-de-sac.

At a glance, the distance would be just over a hundred meters.

Arkan appears to be over the moon for performing this mystical teleportation, as if it were a bird that manages to fly again after having a wing accident.

"Ink, my dear Ink, I have missed you." Arkan commented, happy to be able to use this power again.

The young wizard's hands have begun to drip pitch black ink, leaving a short trail behind him as he walks carefree towards the edge of the roof,

"Your comfortable darkness that embraces you at every step in your domain, the feeling of disappearing and reappearing, the smell of freshly tapped ink on the paper that heats up and turns to ash ..." Arkan took a break from his speech to observe the police cars that are racing near the surrounding building.

Making a movement with the arms the drops of ink turned into a small stream, then changed color to a gray substance with some traces of yellow.

"I missed you so much, ink. Chasing Sphere!" Arkan exclaimed, using his Inkwalkers abilities to mold alternate ink into a throwing ball.

Imitating the position of baseball pitcher, he made a mistral throw, the ball of greyish-yellowish ink hit the trunk of one of the police cars.

"Purgatory is such a horrible place, it manages to sever the connection with every extradimensional source of power, so many abilities have been kept out of my reach. Like tracking ink." Arkan commented, with a nostalgic tone, making the ink on his hands disappear.

Arkan having placed the Inkwalkers' equivalent of a tracking setup, he shifts his attention to the hummingbird girl.

If the young sorcerer seems to feel invigorated, he finds himself in seventh heaven thanks to the re-contact with the enigmatic Ink.

Violet on the other hand seems to be completely stunned by this experience, practically the opposite of what Arkan feels.

The hummingbird girl is showing alarming signs, dilated pupils with a little twinkle, a constant and involuntary tremor, ruffled feathers that appear to have gotten slightly darker. Finally, dizziness and temporary loss of balance.

"Violet!" Arkan exclaimed, in a worried tone, disappearing into a cloud of darkness, to appear at Violet's side, holding her in his arms.

"Listen to me, don't panic, breathe and inhale." Arkan said in a calm tone, holding Violet's head up so her rib cage will have more room to breathe.

The hummingbird girl did not respond to Arkan's comments, she just breathes and inhales several times. With each breath Violet seems to return to her normal, calm self.

"Take a moment to process the experience of sinking in and out of the Ink." Arkan said, still holding Violet in his arms, delivering advice to his new assistant.

For a couple of minutes or maybe even more, the young sorcerer and the model student remained close together in comfortable silence.

Arkan partly feels guilty for causing this problem, his favorite teleportation method rarely provokes such a reaction.

But he can't help but feel a kind of pleasant confrontation with feeling another person's warmth and heartbeat.

Arkan has never been a huge fan of physical intimacy, but after a month of isolation he feels a deep nostalgia for Luz's close hugs.

Violet begins to recover, her brain is "rebooting", finally beginning to "process" the experience and sensory overload she received while jumping through the Ink.

'Arkan's body heat is surprisingly high.' This was Violet's first real thought, noting that the alien's body temperature is much higher, feeling like she is close to a hearth.

"What is my state of health?" Violet asked, standing up and out of Arkan's arms, taking a couple of shaky steps before regaining her balance.

"Physically nothing has happened to you, your mind has been slightly shaken, a sensory overload, within a couple of minutes you will be as good as new." Arkan replied, with a reassuring tone, wanting to kill any doubts about Violet's health.

A single jump with an Inkwalkers is not dangerous, not even for someone who is incompatible with the Ink, the story is completely different if you perform multiple jumps and you are also incompatible.

"We are no longer in the alley, did we instantly move from one place to another without physically occupying the intermediate space or transferring matter or energy from one point to another without crossing the physical space between them?" Violet asked, using the more complex definition of the word teleportation.

"To be specific, the process I used to get here is called, Walk in the ink." Arkan explained, not being able to help but be careful you have details and be precise, always having to put the point on the i.

"The Ink? Would that be some kind of parallel dimension that you use as an intermediate to go from potion A to position B in an instant?" Violet asked, raising an eyebrow, making some assumptions about what this Ink is, using logical reasoning and knowledge of string theory.

"The Ink isn't really a power in and of itself, it is a layer of reality normally inaccessible to the world as a whole, even through magic or other means of planar travel, only those looking to practice inkwalking ever seeming to gain access to this level of reality.

There is much debate on what the Ink actually is, but, there are some that think it's the border between the mental, spiritual, and physical levels of reality while others think it's similar to the astral plane, a place between places and another group believes that it's the place at the border of reality itself.

Regardless of what the Ink is, accessing that level of reality opens up a variety of options to the user, who are almost universally referred to as Inkwalkers. "Arkan provided the general description of what Ink is, more or less confirming the theory by Violet regarding the use of another dimension as a working mechanism.

"Fascinating, using another dimension to accomplish something modern science can't even theorize. Magic seems like an archaic science linked to the principles of string theory." Violet said, using her scientific knowledge to give some sort of logic to the magic.

"In some ways the profession of a magician and a scientist is quite similar. Years of research and study, a thick life in the confines of a laboratory, an enormous number of trial and error to achieve progress. Only the levels of security , danger, earnings and methodology vary enormously. " Arkan recounted the basic similarities between a scientist and a magician, a life dedicated to the study and pursuit of knowledge.

"Can you delve into the basic principle of the Inkwalker?" Violet asked, wanting to know more about this art / science, not just out of her insatiable curiosity.

"Simply accessing the Ink gives the signature ability of the power source, Inkwalking. In the brief moment between steps, an inkwalker can transfer themselves into the Ink, manifested as vanishing in a cloud of dark mist, only to step out of a similar mist at their exit point. This only lasts the length of a single step, but it allows the inkwalker to travel over quite the distance, even traveling twenty times as far with a single step." Ha detto Arkan, dando una breve panoramica della abilità di base di un Inkwalker.

"Is it normal for people to react the way I reacted to ink?" She asked Violet, pointing to herself, wanting to know if the first reaction is normal.

"It was a little unusual, usually people get bad moods and severe dizziness. But did you look like you watched a horror movie marathon that scared the hell out of you?" Arkan said, giving her description of what Violet looked like a few minutes ago.

"I actually feel like I've been on the scariest roller coaster in the world. I'm equally scared and full of adrenaline." Violet stated, implying that her teleportation experience was less negative than it seemed. Perhaps even pleasant in some ways.

"In most cases, teleportation of any shape or type feels a bad mood for the first few uses. But the feeling it describes is quite unusual, meaning you may have a hypersensitivity to the Ink." Arkan said in an intrigued tone, putting a hand under his chin, bending over so he could see Violet better.

'I almost get the idea of using Sight or opening the Third Eye of the Mind.' Arkan thought, curious to find out more about Violet from a magical point of view.

Violet, not seeing Arkan's golden eyes up close, decided to step forward and look up.

Pearl black eyes met golden colored eyes.

For a second the hummingbird girl's eyes could swear that Arkan's eyes were about to change color.

Arkan was actually going to use Vista, but I think back to it at the last moment, not wanting to make a big mistake that's impossible to fix.

Sorcerer's Sight is a blessing and a curse.

It allows its user to see things, things that they would normally not be able to see.

With Sight, a Sorcerer can see even the most ethereal of spirits. Glimpse energies of life that stir and move, flowing like blood through the world, between earth and sky, between water and fire.

The spells stand out as twisted cords from fiber optic cables, or perhaps Las Vegas quality neon, depending on how complicated or powerful they are.

It allows you to see things as they really are, in spirit and soul, as well as in the body.

The big problem with this ability is that everything the Sorcerer sees while using it remains forever etched within him.

No matter how hideous, no matter how repulsive, no matter how mad or terrifying, it will forever remain in the sorcerer's mind in full technicolor, never fading or becoming easier to bear.

But this is not the real reason why Arkan has decided to hold back the use of the Vista.

When this ability is used and the sorcerer's eyes make eye contact with a living being in possession of a soul ... it begins what is known as a soulgaze.

It gives the other a window into their soul, which can't be faked. It doesn't relay specific information, you can't use it to interrogate someone, but it does give one a vague impression on whether they're trustworthy or not, or if they've been psychically harmed, etc.

Arkan is unwilling to break the privacy of a person who has been friendly and helpful to him thus far.

Above all he does not want to show his soul to Violet or any other living person, the last person who glimpsed what is inside the young wizard was traumatized for life * cough * Lilith * cough * needing weeks to be quiet in the same room with Arkan holding Eda's hand tightly.

It is all this before black magic, dark powers, forbidden spells and several traumas sank inside Arkan, make his soul an unpleasant sight for many people.

For a seemingly infinite moment, silence reigns supreme in this place.

But now the tranquility emanating from this place is not comfortable, indeed it is quite embarrassing.

Surprisingly, Violet was the first to break the silence.

"Next time you use a long transport skill to move our position, ask me for permission or at least a warning." Violet commented, preferring by a long way to be uninformed for her to take a next leap via the Ink.

Arkan nods smoothly accepting Violet's request.

Somehow these two "social masters" no longer know what to say or do between them.

"Violet ... I am allowed to use a further method of transport to the physical plane of reality." Arkan asked, immediately starting to keep his word, as well as starting an argument.

Violet has looked around at first sight there is no way out to get off here.

"It's not like I have an alternative, I can't find any other method to get down from here." Violet replied, taking a couple of steps back, having a feeling that Arkan is about to do a show where a certain safety distance is needed.

"This time we take the Arkan Express in style. I want to reach the police cars before they come out of my tracking range." Arkan declared, clapping his hands, ready to wow Violet and reaches her destination in record time.

"The Arkan Express means you're going to use a high-speed vehicle to recover distance," Violet said, making a brief argument with the information Arkan has obtained so far.

It possesses shape-shifting power and a short-range teleportation ability, both of which are useful tricks for a large number of situations.

But taking the form of a bird and flying might not be that useful to reach a police car especially when they have a lot of advantage in terms of speed and distance, especially when Arkan is unfamiliar with the geography of Duckburg.

Short-range teleportation as its name implies, limited to a distance of a few tens of meters or at most just over a hundred meters away.

Blindly leaping through the Ink repeatedly should take a heavy physical / mental / energetic toll.

Therefore Arkan is forced to take alternative means of transport. At least that's what Violet thinks.

"You will love it, Luz considers it her preferred mode of transport. Even Amity who loves me one day and I hate me the next enjoys riding me under the moonlight over the rooftops of Bonesborough." Arkan commented, with a mischievous smile, picking out words that can lead to an unfortunate misunderstanding.

Instead of seeing a psychic manifestation of an angry Amity, Arkan sensed a small change in her shadow.

Looking down she can see that her shadow has gained a lighter coloring and appears to have taken on a more feminine silhouette.

"Don't talk like that there are too many double entenders!" Shadow Amity's voice came loud and clear from Arkan's shadow.

It was no surprise that Arkan is the only one who can hear Amity's voice

"Amity, you are so cute when you get mad." Shadow Luz commented, joining the discussion, also speaking through Arkan's shadow. It's her first sentence about Amity's sexappel in rage ...

"Holmes, if you wonder what's going on, I don't quite understand the mechanics of this shadow magic / anime copier.

In short, Amity and I, we are connected to your shadow, normally we could only interact with the physical world via your shadow or a full summon at the expense of a large amount of your magical energy.

Thanks to the presence of that creature with six wings, we can manifest us as a psychic manifestation in front of your eyes.

But only one of us can take the "seat" of psychic manifestation at a time, so for the moment we prefer to be together as shadow spirits. "Shadow Luz said, handing a brief overview of how they can show themselves to Arkan.

After that Luz and Amity never spoke again, go back to doing their thing in private.

One at a time as a kind of ghost that only he can hear or see.

Or all together as a voice coming out of his shadow that behaves like a tree for simulacra of his most trusted friends and allies.

'This will be a unique experience with here to contend. Stranger things have happened to me, but dealing with sentient simulacra that live in my shadow or manifest as imaginary friends. ' Arkan thought, feeling like the universe is working to make his life more and more complicated and bizarre with every possibility.

With the arrival in a world that is aesthetically reminiscent of Looney Tunes characters, most people would be inclined to believe them.

"Do you intend to invoke some kind of mystical mount or a futuristic means of transport?" Violet asked aloud, interrupting Arkan's internal monologue about his unique situation. Not having understood the double meaning of her previous statement.

"I could do it, he has a magic sword that invokes a flying war chariot and a pocket hoverboard. But I prefer to do something more fun and unique, something that gets your blood pumping." Arkan stated, with a mischievous grin, internally deciding to put all his unsolved problems in a corner of his mind and solve them tomorrow morning or even later.

The young wizard took a couple of big strides away from Violet, after which she sits down with her butt on the ground, pulling her legs towards her and putting her arms around her legs. Arkan looks like he's trying to mimic the fetal position or curl up in a ball.

"I'm curious about your definition of fun." Violet commented, raising an eyebrow, seeing the strange position that Arkan has taken, not finding a practical meaning for this gesture. Maybe it's a cultural thing?

"Give me a minute, I haven't done this trick in a long time, it needs more focus than Self Shapeshifting." Arkan replied, closing his eyes and resting his head between his legs, involuntarily assuming the position of a small child crying.

"Imaginary Form." She muttered Arkan in a low voice, barely making Violet hear that she remains silent and observes.

Arkan's body has begun to manifest a shimmer of a light blue color.

Violet at the moment decided that just taking notes is not enough, taking out the phone, pointing the camera at Arkan and starting to record the phenomenon.

The blue shimmer has turned into a bluish aura that enveloped the young wizard's entire body. Soon the aura became a perfect sphere, then things got surreal.

Suddenly the sphere has shrunk, Arkan has shrunk along with the sphere.

Violet's video camera shows a blue sphere the size of a soccer ball with some kind of fetus / embryo inside.

The ball cushion went from a light statute to a solid, reminiscent of a crystal.

"I don't understand at all what's going on." Violet confessed, having no idea what's really going on with Arkan.

The crystal has begun to release a pixel-like blue / green mist.

These particles have begun to build a whole body piece by piece.

Violet saw the formation of cellular tissue, bones, organs, muscles, epidermis, carapace, scales, horns, claws and eyes.

When the whole process is complete, in front of the hummingbird girl is a quadrupedal creature with blue skin, the size of a lion on steroids.

He wears armor across his face, torso, shoulders, and thighs, has a tip protruding from his mask and lightning-like spikes from his back.

The armor is black with a yellow and black band running down the sides, red headlights on the shoulders and metal pads on the thighs.

"Process completed, fully functional Raidramon-based avatar body." Arkan said, speaking perfectly with his new features, moving with the grace of a cat towards Violet.

"The transmutation process is completely different from the previous method.

Instead of using a gold powder there was a different process. Your entire body has been encased in a sphere and shrunk.

After that I witnessed the formation of an entire physical body from the basic elements. "Violet said, completely stunned by the event she just witnessed, feeling delighted to have recorded every detail of this fascinating process.

"You are certainly smarter from a scientific point of view and deductive reasoning than my previous assistant." Arkan commented, taking the crouching position perfectly imitating a dog.

"Before you do what you want, you can at least give me the basics of this process." He asked Violet, wanting to understand the fundamentals of what Arkan did.

The wizard in quadrupedal form slams his tail on the floor, forming a small web of cracks, turning towards the financial district of Duckburg.

'I like to answer questions and explain things, but I want to stretch my legs properly, run like a demon on the skyline of this new city.' He thought Arkan in quadrupedal form, wanting to be able to run just for fun not just for survival as he did during his imprisonment in purgatory.

Arkan prepares to refuse, but seeing Violet's big pearl black eyes, he decided he could wait five minutes to make his run.

"My whole being is enclosed in a core, my magical energy is combined with psychic energy.

Then there is a heavy process of converting energy into matter to temporarily create a puppet body, an avatar piloted from a cabin located in another dimension. "Arkan said, providing more technical information on how this transformation took place.

"Luz nicknamed it, Imaginary Form." Arkan said, adding a little harmless curiosity.

"Creating an entire, fully functional physical form from scratch. You must have a fairly advanced understanding of biology to perform such a feat." Violet said, groping Arkan's forelegs, finding the whole experience indescribable, sure she won't be able to see anything like this even in the world's most advanced laboratories for the next fifty years.

"This form doesn't have to fit the normal standards of biology and physics. I can easily take the external form of anything." Arkan says that Imaginary Form unlike Self Shapeshifting offers a greater amount of freedom, although the energy consumption and time required to use it are small impediments during a countdown operation.

"What you see is called Digimon, precisely a Raidramon, copied from one of Miko and Luz's favorite cartoons, Digimon Adventure 02." Arkan admitted that he perfectly emulated the appearance of an imaginary creature, born from the mind of Akiyoshi Hongo.

"Knowing abroad is not enough if you want something really useful. I had to study cryptozoologist, quantum physics, biochemistry, neurosurgery, genetics, electromagnetism, chimeras, dragonzoologist etc." Arkan recounted another big difference between his two shapeshifting abilities, Self Shapeshifting only needs a mental image and nothing more, while Imaginary Form needs to visualize and implement everything from the ground up.

If he wishes to become a fire breathing dragon, he must create a respiratory system capable of breathing fire, the same principle applies to every unique physical ability of the form created from scratch.

"Such a variety of knowledge to be able to take the form of a fictional character. Not sure what to say?" Violet expressed her opinion, believing that such a collection of knowledge must be used for something greater and more noble, such as inventing the cure for a degenerative disease.

Violet is completely unaware that she touched Arkan's raw nerve

"Knowledge is needed to make this form not only aesthetically pleasing, but also practical to face battles and obstacles of all kinds. There are people who would kill to understand how the insides of this form work." Arkan said, in a slightly offended tone, banging his tail several times on the floor, creating a flood of cracks.

The purposely transformed sorcerer does not go into detail on what makes this form so valuable.

Mention the creation of artificial Magical Core and create a second nervous system that functions as psuedo-Magical Circuits or have partially decoded the genetic code of the Dragons, engrave Runes inside the organs without compromising their function etc.

This information and more can easily attract the attention of the most dangerous and insane Practitioners of the supernatural.

"How complex can the biological of such a form be? Wouldn't it be more useful in the long run to focus efforts on something more productive?" Violet said, unable to understand the social signs of shutting up, uttering the wrong phrase.

There are three excuses for Violet's social awkwardness.

Number one, Violet is not Toby Curtis, the world-class behavioral scientist, quite the opposite.

Number two, Violet can barely understand the social cues of her fellow man, you can't expect her to understand Arkan's facial expressions and body language when he's transformed into a faithful copy of Raidramon.

Number three, not even Luz and Eda can understand what goes through Arkan's head and they are the two people closest to his heart, the 15-year-old human is her best friend / sister / partner / Watson, the 40-year-old Witch is the closest thing to a funny mother he ever had in his life.

"The entire gang of thugs, nerds, little witches and schoolgirls, we worked together in our peaceful days to understand not only what a Digimon would look like in real life, but also find ways to replicate their abilities.

This form of Raidramon represents the friendship of a group of misfits capable of changing the course of history.

Don't you dare disrespect one of the symbols of the Celestial Grand Order! "Arkan exclaimed aloud, getting caught up in the moment.

When she slammed her forelegs, I make a small hole in the floor, revealing the apartment of a seamstress duck who passed out on the floor from a boulder that hit her head.

At the next blow of the tail, a trail of lightning went out from the tip of Arkan's tail, burning a satellite dish on the roof.

Frightened Violet dropped her phone at the sight of the lightning coming out of the queue of the False Raidramon.

'When communicating with Arkan, you must not touch these subjects: True Form, Time often in the bad place, criticism regarding his former friends and the CGO.' Violet thought, with a slight note of fear towards an angry Arkan, writing this information deep inside her mind.

After this little outburst, Arkan took a deep inhale, then breathes, repeating this process several times, with each breath his former anger subsides.

"Get on top, if we waste any more time, the party will have already begun and over." He said Arkan in quadrupedal form, in a quiet tone, walking over to Violet and lying down so that she can easily get on her back.

Violet did not get on the back of the False Raidramon, she simply stands still, hesitating to say or do something, feeling a kind of fear of Arkan.

"You've already helped me enough with the details on Duckburg and Calisota. I can easily fend for myself." Arkan declared, realizing that Violet has had enough of her unnatural presence.

It's no surprise to him, most people can't accept something or someone that exists outside of their normal perception of reality.

Once they are rescued from the Monster of the Week they will come up with the most ridiculous excuses in the world for pretending to have hallucinated or whatever.

"If you want, you can take the fire escape, go down to the sidewalk and pretend I'm a heat stroke induced hallucination." Arkan has proposed a physical and metaphorical exit to allow Violet to cut ties with her.

The False Raidramon uses one of its horns to indicate a fire escape located in a corner of the roof, where the less experienced eye cannot find it.

Violet grabs her phone from the floor, luckily it hasn't broken. Then the hummingbird girl approaches the fire escape preparing to descend.

"Violet was nice meeting you and chatting with you." Arkan said, turning towards the financial district, starting to walk in that direction, mentally visualizing a path through the roofs of the buildings.

"Anyone, as soon as he has a second, can give up and run away, so keep moving forward." He recited the False Raidramon, quoting lines from a song that appears in a Digimon movie.

After this farewell sentence, he prepares to spring forward.

His body is slowly covered in fluorescent blue circuit-like symbols, a sign that the Magical Circuits within his body are activating, creating magic to increase his physical performance to absurd levels.

The False Raidramon rushes forward and Violet has decided to make the worst or best decision of her life.

Violet reaches out with both hands and grabs Arkan's tail, using all the strength of her small body she manages to maintain her grip.

The Sorcerer transformed into an imaginary creature leapt off the roof of the building, taking Violet with him.

"haaaaa!" The hummingbird girl screams with all the breath of her body, having never been in such a situation, plummeting from the tenth floors of a building towards the asphalt of the street.

Fortunately, the False Raidramon is fully aware of what is happening.

With a jerk of his tail, he throws Violet into the air, sending her to jump about ten meters.

'Every girl I meet and I like must be problematic in one way or another ... I've been missing these kinds of trouble.' Arkan thought for a moment, before focusing solely on preventing Violet from hurting herself. .

Lightning bolts burst out of the Transformed Wizard's back, pushing him directly towards a billboard.

Using the claws offered by her current form she hooks onto the edge of the public billboard and uses it as a base to leap up to Violet, grabbing her by the collar of the shirt with his mouth.

Unfortunately this time Arkan can't stop his momentum, ending up slamming the left side of his body into the building.

Holding back an insult to not open my mouth I drop Violet, Arkan's paws emit a violent shock of electric sparks, creating a short and explosive propulsion, destroying a street lamp, but preventing a bad fall.

Allowing the model student and the transformed alien to secretly land behind the billboard.

Once on its paws on the ground, the False Raidramon grinds its grip, letting Violet fall onto her butt against the cold concrete of the building.

"You didn't have to be a smart girl, why did you do something so reckless?" Arkan asked, not knowing Violet very well, but from the brief reading about her, she doesn't seem like the kind of person who goes on the spur of the moment to make such a scene.

Violet took a moment to breathe and dust her clothes, and once she is presentable she stands up.

"When I'm old and looking back, I don't want to wonder what would have happened if I hadn't chased you." Violet stated, not wanting to miss out on such an unprecedented chance in her life.

Surely Arkna's rage and lightning are threatening and can scare people.

But he didn't hesitate in the slightest to save Violet from a fatal fall and get her to safety, even if it cost him a small impact against a building.

"All my life I have been rational, I have never thought about things like magic or extradimensional powers.

But I met you and in the few hours spent with you, you shook something in me. You opened my eyes!

There is a world beyond textbooks and rational truths! One is I forced to know more. "Violet said, expressing her sincere opinion of her, maybe she's not sure that pursuing Arkan is the safest thing.

But surely it is the right thing to do, both for his civic sense and above all for his own person.

Library reading and Junior Woodchuck enrollment are great ways to learn and learn new skills and knowledge.

But there are flaws, learning alone through reading is limited, the best books are too expensive or found in national libraries in other countries or in private collections.

Junior Woodchuck's curriculum is quite extensive, but they remain an organization dedicated to teaching young people, providing limitations in some ways.

Violet feels like a second home in the library and being part of the Junior Woodchuck family makes her parents feel proud.

But the girl wants much more, to learn about science and magic from a person from a completely different world, showing surreal skills one after another ...

Violet cannot refuse such a possibility without deeply repenting later.

The transformed Wizard listened to Violet's speech, managing to get some idea of what the hummingbird girl is thinking.

Arkan is currently experiencing a feeling of nostalgia, having experienced a similar scenario with Luz and other people who entered the world under the moonlight.

Some have come to live their dreams, others for the simple taste of adventure, others to escape from their problems of everyday life, other people for love and just as many to understand more about how the world really works.

"Your life, your choice." Arkan stated, in a serious tone, looking Violet straight in her eyes, letting her choose her own path.

"Think very carefully about the path you want to take. You can either ride the alien shapeshifter and see the impossible happen on a daily basis or pretend that none of it is real." Arkan said, giving Violet one last pomace to go back.

"Rule 2: All Junior Woodchucks must be open to the unknown in their quest for the truth." She said Violet, with a determined look, grabbing one of the False Raidramon's horns, climbing onto the back of the alien shapeshifter.

"Right now you remind me of my first official meeting with Luz, even with a Violent Ghost in the abandoned mall who decided to chase me." Arkan said, in a nostalgic tone, having been through something similar with Luz, the circumstances were completely different and he got pretty badly hurt during the retreat maneuver.

But at the end of the day Luz decided to stay with a Young Wizard with Detective Occult mania.

"Later I want to hear this story, I think it's a parallel somewhere." Violet said, figuring there must be a reason Arkan is feeling nostalgic here.

"When I think about it, you remind me of Tsubasa Hanekawa, a model student who loves the library and learning new things.

But deep down he craves adventure and adrenaline worse than a drug addict. It helps him with a problem of possessing an animal spirit.

After that she practically moved into my den library, becoming a kind of secretary / librarian / janitor. "Arkan said, comparing Violet to the best student in Gravesfield's school history, just hoping she won't have to solve future family problems like she does. by Tsubasa.

"I want to study and improve myself, not become the next Scrooge McDuck." She told the model student that she is riding a magical shape-shifting alien who wishes to chase police cars to practice his masked vigilante pastime ...

Violet does not realize the direction her life is taking at the moment, a matter of time she will end up in absurd adventures and cross paths with Scrooge McDuck and his family.

"I too have the same need, to gather knowledge and understand the secrets of the Omniverse. But however much I want to pass myself off as an intellectual. My primordial nature does not change." Arkan said, taking a short run, preparing for his high-speed run.

"Not even a day has passed since my release and I literally throw myself into the next trouble!" He exclaimed the False Raidramon, sprinting forward, leaping off the roof of the building.

"By chance you can make a saddle appear." Violet asked, firmly grabbing the horns found on the transformed wizard's body.

"It's good for your health to ride bareback, it keeps you alert and bonded with the mount." Arkan said, continuing to run at high speed across the rooftops, moving in zigzags, leaving behind a trail of lightning and claw marks.

"Problems ahead!" Violet shouted, indicating that the trail of neighboring roofs and buildings are ending, taken the race has become more of a long jump contest.

This path change comes as no surprise, as the transformed sorcerer and model student are approaching downtown Duckburg.

At first glance the area is full of freshly painted buildings, lots of flashy cars, people actually walking around with smiles on their faces.

The center is definitely a nicer area. The buildings are massive and slender, and the advertisements are more subdued, though no less numerous.

The number of civilians wearing formal suits or dress is growing exponentially.

With great ease you can see a huge circular complex rising up, making the other structures pale.

Scattered all around are more of those skyscrapers, but that circular complex is arguably the largest of them all.

The McDuck Tower is a black monolith that jutted higher into the sky than any other building, practically scraping the clouds, and even from this distance I could see the company logo on one side.

"The road is over!" She shouted Violet again, seeing that there is no other means to run over you have roofs.

From now on there are huge buildings, always taller than the previous one, making it impossible for Raidramon to jump from roof to roof.

"This time I'm prepared to defy gravity." Arkan replied, increasing the speed of his run to exceed that of a car.

When the roofs are finished, the False Raidramon makes a huge leap over a road, landing straight into the wall of a huge tree.

Instead of breaking through the wall or crashing into the wall and then falling and having a bad end.

The False Raidramon's paws began to glow and emit a steady rush of electricity, allowing it to run across the wall as if it were Spider-Man.

"This body was designed to run fast and allow me to use my Electromaster abilities with unmatched accuracy. In short, gravity can't stop me!" Arkan shouted, starting to run like a demon on the walls of the buildings.

He certainly hasn't decided to climb every building in part, once he gets high enough not to be easily seen, he starts running sideways on the walls, following the main street of the financial district.

"You are taking advantage of the metal components inside the walls and ceilings of a building to attack and walk and run on those walls." She observed Violet, managing to more or less understand what Arkan is doing, very impressive for a hummingbird girl who can no longer distinguish where heaven or earth is.

After a dozen flips, climbing and descending various buildings by bending the laws of gravity, Arkan and Violet's race seems to be at an end.

"We're almost there!" Arkan shouted, coming to the top of the Glomgold Industries skyscraper.

" Thank goodness." Violet said, starting to no longer be able to support so many trajectory changes, she surely lost count of the number of times heaven and earth have changed places here.

"Time for a last leap!" Arkan exclaimed, sending several waves of electricity out of his legs and tail, inadvertently fried a lot of Glomgold Industries equipment in the process.

The False Raidramon begins to spring forward, sending out a million volts with every paw step.

"Hold on tight, Violet, the last hundred meters will be done at sonic speed!" Arkan exclaimed, just before approaching the edge of the skyscraper, releasing all the electricity in a precise point, causing all the oxygen around him to explode.

Using the force of the explosion to propel himself at great speeds. Gain a sprint at unnatural speeds and jump to incredible heights.

Basically Arkan and Violet turned into a living bullet, leaving behind a large crater.

XXX

For Violet, the last leap was less like a high-speed jump, it's actually comparable to taking off a spaceship or being shot through a huge canon.

"haaasaa!" He yelled at Violet's throat, believing she was dying upon landing.

Violet and Arkan are flying / gliding / crashing like a meteorite.

"Hold your breath, we're about to land in less than twenty seconds." He yelled the False Raidramon, preparing for the impact / landing.

The model student decides to listen to Arkan's suggestion and begins to hold her breath.

Good move because instead of landing in a parking lot or cornfield, they are about to hit the top floor of a luxury apartment building.

Precisely they are about to fall into a large swimming pool located on a huge luxury terrace.

Just under ten from the impact, Arkan uses his electricity to blast the air above the pool below him in order to cushion his descent and land safely.

KA-BlAM!

But this only mitigates the damage, it does not erase it. Upon impact, the pool exploded, spilling half of its contents onto the floors, lower floors and onto the street.

For about ten seconds Arkan and Violet remained underwater in a partially emptied and damaged pool, it will take a fortune to replace the marble filled with cracks and scratches.

Slowly the transformed Sorcerer and the model student exited the pool, climbing the pool steps.

"This must be the largest pool cannon in the history of this planet." She muttered Arkan, with an amused grin on her face, continuing to carry a soggy Violet on her back.

"You are crazy?" She asked Violet, running a hand through her hair so she could see something.

"Oh yes, I'm insane. And you're stuck here with me." Arkan replied, before laughing jovially, pure and amused.

Violet was silent for a moment, seconds later she too began to laugh at the whole situation.

"End of the line, please take your time off the Arkan Express." He said the False Raidramon, lying on the ground, greatly facilitating Violet's job of getting off.

"You are definitely better than any Roller coaster I've ever experienced in my life." She said Violet, before falling to her knees when she got off Arkan's rump, her legs suffer from numbness from the wild ride.

Arkan grabs Violet's collar again, lifting her up and placing her on a beach stool miraculously left standing.

" Thanks." Violet said, starting to massage her legs to stimulate blood circulation.

"Where are we? Weren't we supposed to be chasing police cars? Asked Violet, sure her" steed "has a reason for stopping on this terrace.

Arkan didn't answer Violet's questions right away, because she's focusing on something else.

The False Raidramon's body has begun to crumble into fluorescent blue dust.

In a matter of seconds of the entire physical body, only the crystalline nucleus remained, which opened just as fast.

Arkan has returned to his human form and normal size. Violet was once again amazed to see how this transformation process takes place in reverse.

"We are on the terrace of a luxury apartment, located on the top floor of a building for wealthy people. Give me a minute and I'll give you more details." Arkan said, calmly, walking towards the entrance of the apartment, wanting to enter and take on loan several things.

By letting sparks out of the hands, the electronic door lock opened without any problems.

The young wizard enters the apartment as if it were his home, as soon as he crosses the threshold a couple of oddities happen that Violet can't help but notice.

One, Arkan's entire body appears to shake for a second as if it had been abruptly hit by a blast of polar cold.

Two, his gaze was lost as if he were concentrating and reading something invisible.

"Interesting, I may have found a useful resource." He muttered Arkan, with a mischievous smirk on his face, having discovered something of interest.

Instead of asking if he's feeling okay, Violet decided to ask a question more related to legal repercussions.

"Do you know if we see people caught committing trespass, the penalty will be imprisonment from six months to three years." She informed Violet about the bad end they can end up if the owner calls the police.

Arkan seeing that hummingbird girl is hesitating to chase him into breaking into another person's property, decides to give her insurance.

"If you leave no trace you cannot be accused of anything." Arkan said without the slightest hint of concern in his voice, having done this stuff hundreds of times in worse situations.

Violet was left soaking wet outside, not feeling very reassured by Arkan's words.

The Young Sorcerer rolls his eyes to the sky, remembering that model students always have some anxiety about breaking the laws written by ordinary people who don't know how the world really works.

"Don't worry so much about leaving traces. When we landed in the pool I fried every piece of electronics inside the apartment.

All motion sensors, microphones, video cameras and burglar alarms are turned off. You just have to leave no traces of DNA and we would be fine.

If in the unlikely event something happens I can use hypnosis or a fire spell to solve all sorts of problems. "Arkan said in a calm tone as he walked out of the apartment, feeling a second shiver as he walked through the doorway.

"Go inside and dry yourself, I don't know anything about anthropomorphic bird biology. But if you stay outside with wet clothes you risk getting pneumonia." Arkan said, grabbing Violet's hand and dragging her inside her to a stranger's apartment.

Once again when the Young Sorcerer passed through the threshold of the door he suffered from a profound tremor.

'By chance Arkan has the same problem as vampires, does he need explicit permission to cross the threshold of a house, if he doesn't get permission he gets a penance shipment?' Violet thought, making a hypothesis to explain this strange phenomenon of crossing the threshold and reacting in a strange way.

Once in the living room decorated with furniture imported from Italy, Arkan begins to use his Sherlock Scan to understand much more about the person who should live in this luxurious apartment.

Arkan's eyes looked at the photographs, the position of the furniture, the personal belongings left behind and many other small details that a trained eye cannot see.

"The owner of this place is one Goldie O'Gilt. She seems to me to be some kind of Fujiko Mine for the Scrooge McDuck you mentioned to me a few times.

He is currently in South America investigating the location on the Fountain of Youth. "Arkan said, offering no explanation to Violet on how she gained this information.

Releasing the hold of Violet's hand, the Young Wizard has wed her attention to a shelf filled with various trinkets and trinkets from around the world.

"You weren't exaggerating when you said you were a Great Investigator to understand so much in such a short time." Violet said, impressed with Arkan's deductive abilities.

Personally Violet in order to understand the name and the connection with Scrooge McDuck had to take a few minutes to look at some photographs of the house showing Goldie O'Gilt having fun with Scrooge McDuck, along with an archeology graduate with Goldie's name on it.

"Found cursed amulet of protection." Arkan said, grabbing an ancient bronze statuette of an idol or something similar from the shelf.

"The best place to hide a tree is the forest. Hide a real magical artifact among a shelf of fakes and you'll need an expert to find it." Arkan said, giving Goldie O'Gilt some credit for this little trick.

"Is this object responsible for your thrills when you crossed the threshold of this place?" He asked Violet, as she approaches for a better look at the trinket Arkan is holding in her hands.

"You really are a smart girl for noticing my annoyance.

In short, normally crossing the threshold of such a place is not a problem for me.

But with this trinket soaked in protective magic, I get a deep annoyance, as if someone repeatedly hits me with a snow shovel. "Arkan said, not going into detail on how the thresholds work.

Without warning or warning, Arkan's hands released a dark green flame, devouring the entire amulet of protection, burning it to ashes. Various mystical symbols appeared on the walls of the apartment, seeing them burned together with the amulet.

" Problem solved." Arkan exclaimed in a happy tone, sounding relieved of a metaphysical burden.

"You didn't say you didn't leave any traces of our presence." She observed Violet, pointing to the pile of ash on the carpet.

"MAGIC!" This was Arkan's response, climbing on top of a table in the living room, drawing a dark purple circle in the air, forming a magic circle.

In a second, all the doors and drawers of the apartment opened simultaneously.

A small flock of plates carrying food flew out of the kitchen and onto the terrace.

Clothes and a brand new laptop flew out of Goldie O'Gilt's bedroom.

The clothes fell into Violet's hands as the laptop flew straight into Arkan's hand.

"I'll have to get used to this." Violet said, confident that this is only the beginning of a long series of testimonies of magical art.

"Here are some clean, dry clothes that have been magically altered to fit your size." Arkan said, having solved Violet's wet clothes problem.

Not wanting to be accused of being a peeping tom and having to plan his next move, Arkna heads out onto the terrace.

A few minutes later, Violet returned to the terrace, dressed in a gray shirt and brown pants.

The hummingbird girl walked over to the Young Wizard who sat at a table, working on Goldie O'Gilt's laptop while eating a red apple.

"We didn't just eat a quarter of an hour ago." She observed Violet, having seen with her own eyes how Arkan filled her stomach with a wide variety of pastries and sweets.

"Running across the rooftops with a person in the saddle consumes a lot of calories, plus I have a whole month of malnutrition to recover from." Arkan said, taking a red apple and handing it to Violet.

"I have to agree with you, just being the passenger in such a ride made me tired." She said Violet, grabbing the apple and starting to peel it off to put something under her teeth.

"Can you tell me why we stopped in this place?" Violet asked, sure that if Arkan wanted to have a snack, he could have something else that didn't involve a trespass.

"This apartment offers a perfect view of the party. Bonus, this Goldie O'Gilt has some very interesting cash." Arkan said, without taking his eyes off the computer, indicating the edge of the terrace with his hand.

Violet walks over to the balcony railing to see this "party" Arkan is talking about.

"I see a bunch of police cars surrounding the First National Bank.

This must be an armed robbery if there are so many cops. "Violet said, understanding more or less what is going on downstairs.

"The classic old bank robbery. It's been a long time since I stopped a classic crime." Arkan said, with an amused grin on his face, climbing over the railing, preparing to jump into the fray.

Inside the bank full of armed criminals is also a certain unfortunate duck dressed in a sailor's uniform.
