I own Neither Owl House or Spider-man

So, you're girlfriend's a Superhero

"This is Perry Porter rePORTing. Less than an hour ago, Master Supervillain Dock Ock was foiled by none other than our fair city's Friendly Neighbourhood Spider-girl!"

Amity's face did a sudden impression of a particularly ripe tomato as she paused the News Video at a shot of Spider-girl swinging in to save the day.

She. Was. So. Amazing.

Not that Amity had a crush on her. I mean, she was cool, and a literal superhero, and she kept saving her and whenever she spoke she sounded like someone her age putting on a deep voice so she definitely had a shot, but she did not have a crush on her.

Just then, her phone's 'Little Miss Perfect' ringtone went off in her pocket. She took it out to see there she had been sent a text. It was from none other than her Awesome Girlfriend Luz.

Luzura: Hey, Amity.

Blightmare: Hola, Batata. What's up?

Luzura: Mind if I come over to yours in the next five minutes?

Blightmare: Do you need to ask?

Luzura: Of course. I just love getting the same answer over and Over, Hermosa.

Amity giggled as she sent a heart emoji and turned off her phone, brushing a lock of lilac hair out of her glowing face and playing the video she was watching.

"The Former Head of Robotics at Blight Industries, Ex-City Hall Official and one-time Senatorial Candidate Octavia Kikimora attempted to kidnap Police Comissioner Lillith Clawthorne, but was stopped by the Web-slinger. While many in the city believe we are truly fortunate to have a defender like Spider-girl, the Commissioner obviously disagrees, seeing as she-"

The bespectacled reporter was rudely interrupted by Amity's Cat Ghost leaping onto her iPad, inadvertently pressing on the screen and skipping to the next video.

"No! Bad Ghost!" Snapped Amity, picking up her pet and placing her on the floor.

With an irritated sigh, Amity looked at the Screen to see a moustachioed middle-aged man shout the following words.

"SPIDER-MENACE!"

Oh no.

Not Jameson.

"Not an hour ago, our Local Vigilante Criminal thoughtlessly leapt in to partake in the glory of battle with Dock Ock, showing no regard for her hostage, Commissioner Clawthorne's safety! Fortunately, our brave Knight of the City snuck up on the Masked Hoodlum, stabbing her with a knife one of Dock Ock's goons had dropped! Though she escaped arrest, we can have satisfaction in knowing the real heroes of our fine city managed to wound her, perhaps even fatally-"

Amity closed the video, not able to watch it any longer. That Jameson guy was either Blind, mad, stupid or that theory about him being one of Spider-girl's villains in disguise was true. He always had something to say about Spider-girl. And it was never good. Even after all the lives she saved…

Suddenly, there was a knocking on her window.

She looked up. Spider-girl was there.

Hang on a second! Spider-girl was there!"

She rushed over to the window and flung it open, leaning on it and feigning casualness.

"H-H-Hey!" She grinned, blushing fiercely.

Then she saw a much darker shade of red oozing through the right leg of Spider-girl's red and blue costume.

Blood.

Spider-girl, the protector of the City and Superhero Extraordinaire, slumped onto Amity's bedroom floor.

Ohhhhhh no.

WhatdoIdoWhatDoIdoWhatdoIdo?

After some calming breaths, Amity hauled up the Superhero and dragged her to her bed.

She was really heavy.

Trying to ignore the searing heat in her cheeks, she briefly examined Spider-girl's leg wound. Most likely it was from when Commissioner Lillith had stabbed her earlier.

On closer inspection, it wasn't very deep and Spider-girl had wrapped her right sleeve around it as a makeshift bandage, but she had lost blood and needed medical attention.

Should she call an Ambulance? They might turn her in or take her mask off.

Great she thought, inwardly groaning and panicking at the same time I'm gonna have to do it myself, Aren't I?

Spider-girl mumbled something.

Amity shushed her "Don't try to talk. I'm gonna get a first-aid kit, okay?"

Like a stampeding animal, she bolted out of her bedroom door and threw herself at the first-aid kit that her dad had put on the wall in the corridor, silently thanking him for all his Just-in-cases.

Amity rushed back into her room and opened the first aid kit, thrusting her hands at some bandages and antiseptic.

This was going to be difficult.

After about twenty minutes, Amity wiped her sweaty brow and let out a sigh of relief. She had successfully cleaned and bandaged the wound properly. Not bad for a 14-year-old with first-aid training since the age of five.

Spider-girl let out a groan, turning her head towards Amity.

Oh, crud. She probably needed to breathe better, didn't she?

Sweating profusely, Amity gently lifted the mask up to just above her patient's nose. The girl had tan skin, marred by several bruises, both fresh and stale.

With a shudder, the Costumed Web-slinger uttered words that totally threw Amity.

"Take it off, Hermosa."

Amity's jaw dropped.

That voice…

That nickname…

It couldn't be…

Slowly, tensely, dramatically, she took Spider-girl's mask off.

The beaten and bruised face of Luz Noceda weakly smiled up at her.

"Hey, Amity."

Then the wall-crawler passed out on her girlfriend's bed.

When Luz regained consciousness, the first things she felt was pain flooding around her body.

Did she forget to take painkillers again?

She opened her protesting eyelids to see she was in Amity's room.

Oh yeah. She had gotten injured and decided to come here.

Wait.

Why did she decide to come here!?

And more importantly, why did she tell Amity to take her mask off!?

She attempted to scramble to her feet, only to yelp as a shock of pain rush up her leg, making her fall onto the bed once more.

"Luz!"

She looked up to see Amity rushing to her side "Don't try to move, Batata." She told Luz, pressing an ice pack to her leg.

Luz winced and hissed with discomfort, then relaxed as the pain began to subside.

"Amity-" she groaned in pain "I'm so sorry I lied to you! I-"

"You don't need to apologise." Mittens told her, firmly "You did it to protect people you cared about. That includes me."

Relief flooded through Luz's brain as she gave a weak nod "Thank you."

For a few minutes, there was silence, save for Luz's involuntary sounds of pain and discomfort.

"Sooooo… I'm guessing you have a lot of questions."

"Yeah!" replied Amity, suddenly speaking very quickly and excitedly "How did you get your powers? What made you choose to be a hero? Does Eda know?"

Luz chuckled "I thought you'd ask that, Amity." Then she frowned "What time is it?"

"10:00 PM."

"¡Ay de mí!" Luz yelled in Spanish, sitting up "Eda's gonna be worried sick! And I left my phone in my backpack in an alley!"

"You should make pockets for that suit." Amity told her, taking out her own phone with a reassuring smile "Don't worry. I'll text her." She looked at Luz "Does she know?"

"Yeah."

Blightmare: Luz showed up injured. I know she's Spider-girl. I won't tell anyone

After a few moments, Eda sent a reply.

TheOwlLady: I'm coming over. Are your parents in?

Blightmare: No.

TheOwlLady: Good. How is she? Lily stabbed her in the leg, right?

Blightmare: She lost blood but it wasn't that deep and I patched her up.

TheOwlLady: Srsly?

Blightmare: My mom made me learn first aid from 5 yrs old.

TheOwlLady: I really hate that Woman.

No offense

Blightmare: None taken

When Eda didn't send any more messages, Amity put down her phone and playfully stroked Luz's hair.

"So…" Smiled Luz "Want me to answer your questions?"

Amity smiled "Take all the time you need."

"Okay. Here's how it started…"

I hopefully will be doing more of this AU. Hope you enjoyed this little one-shot.
