The sun was rising on a new day for the kingdom of Avalor.

After explaining to the people in the castle about the situation with the gang, they were welcomed with open arms. Not only because they were good people, but also because they saved the crown princess.

The gang was given a room where they could spend their time in the castle until Mateo found a way to return them to their world. Despite the fact that they had never been in a human room or had a bed, the gang felt very comfortable in that room.

Sunlight streamed through the curtains, hitting Elena's face as she lay asleep in her bed, but she began to moan from the sunlight and eventually woke up. At first she had a tired expression, but that changed to happiness when she remembered her new friends.

Since she left them in her room, she could hardly sleep thinking of all the things she could teach them, learn from them, or have fun with them. Creatures from a world totally different from her own and Valestrella. Who isn't curious about that?

Suddenly, shortly after she got out of bed.

"Good morning!" said Zuzo, Elena's spirit guide suddenly appearing in front of her, causing her to fall down sitting on her bed.

"Zuzo! You're going to give me a heart attack if you appear like that!" said Elena.

"My apologies, princess. I was just curious what you plan to do with your new friends." said Zuzo.

"How do you know about them?" asked Elena getting out of bed to change behind the curtains.

"Let's just say I know someone who tells me things that happen." said Zuzo as he looked at the screen and winked.

"Well, just so you know, at the moment I don't have anything planned. What we're going to do, we'll see in time." said Elena.

"You mean, you'll go with the flow." said Zuzo.

"Basically." said Elena before stepping out from behind the curtains in her dress.

"And aren't you a little worried about Shuriki coming to ruin things for you?" asked Zuzo out of curiosity.

"I can't be worried about Shuriki all the time. Instead of thinking about what might or might not happen, I should be thinking about today." said Elena.

"That's why it's called the present. Very wise advice. Well, you'll let me know how things go or he'll tell me. Whichever comes first. Goodbye." said Zuzo before disappearing.

Elena was very confused by the spirit fox's last words, but shrugged it off, seeing it as a non-issue.

Elena prepared to leave her room and as soon as she opened the door, she found her little sister with her fist raised in a sign that she was about to knock.

"Eh... Good morning." said Isabel putting her hands behind her back.

"Isabel, what are you doing here?" asked Elena curiously.

"Well, there was something I wanted to do and I wanted to wake you up before I did it." said Isabel acting a little nervous.

Elena began to understand what she was implying and an amused smile appeared on her face.

"Let me guess, you wanted to go wake up Littlefoot and the others, didn't you?" asked Elena.

"Well, yes. Don't tell me you're not curious about them? There are so many things I'd like to ask them." said Isabel with childish excitement.

"I have them too, but remember they are visitors in a world they don't know. We shouldn't push them too hard." said Elena acting like a big sister.

"All right." said Isabel.

The two sisters set off from the older sister's room to the room where the gang slept.

Once they arrived, they didn't hesitate to open the door.

"Good morning!" exclaimed Elena as she and her sister entered the room, finding the gang just up.

"Good morning!" said Littlefoot.

"How was your first night at the palace?" asked Elena.

"I won't deny it. It was better than I thought it would be." said Cera.

"Human beds are very comfortable. Yep, yep, yep." said Ducky jumping up and down on the bed.

"Much better than sleeping on the floor, although we don't deny that sleeping on the floor has its comfort." said Ruby.

"Well, you haven't seen anything yet. You'll see the breakfast Grandma has prepared for us." said Isabel.

"Breakfast? That sounds good." said Petrie.

Spike nodded in agreement before licking his lips.

"I hope there won't be any problems with our diet." said Chomper, remembering explaining to them what he ate since he was a predatory dinosaur.

"Oh, don't worry. Rest assured, this breakfast is a treat for all of you herbivores and carnivores." said Elena.

"Lead the way then." said Littlefoot.

The two sisters led the gang through the corridors of the palace in the direction of the dining room where only Francisco was.

"Ah, good morning everyone." said Francisco.

"Good morning, Grandpa." said Elena before noticing the lack of people. "Where are the others?"

"Esteban is taking care of some committee business and Mateo is in his study." said Francisco before turning his attention to the gang. "So, how do you like the kingdom so far?"

"Even though we haven't seen much, it looks like a pretty cool place," said Littlefoot sitting down in a chair.

"There are so many things we'd like to see." said Chomper.

"Oh, believe me, kids. Avalor has so much to offer you and once you see it all, you'll love it." said Francisco.

"In that case..." everyone present turned their gaze to the entrance of the dining room to see Luisa with a cart full of plates of food. "It would be best to start with the food."

"Tamales! How nice!" exclaimed Isabel.

"What are tamales?" asked Ducky.

"They are one of Grandma's specialties. They consist of a dough of ingredients wrapped in leaves." said Elena.

"You will love them. They're so good that people can't resist taking one." said Luisa before diverting her gaze to her husband who was reaching out to take one, but she stopped him by slapping his hand with hers. "Uh, uh, uh. Kids first." said Luisa before grabbing some plates and placing them in front of each member of the gang. "Try it and let me know."

The gang stood for a while looking at the tamale with curiosity and doubts about its taste. Fortunately, the first to act was Spike who took a bite of his tamale and a while later, let out a moan of pleasure before devouring his tamale completely.

"He likes it." said Ducky.

At once, the rest of the gang began to taste their tamales and didn't hesitate to voice their opinions.

"It's true. They are delicious." said Littlefoot.

"Mmm. Yummy stuff." said Cera.

"They are better than they thought." said Ruby.

"Human food delicious." said Petrie.

"Yeah, and I usually eat bugs." said Chomper.

"I knew you would love it. Luckily I made enough so you can repeat if you want." said Luisa before serving plates to the others who began to eat their breakfast with gusto.

For a few minutes, everyone was enjoying a delicious breakfast.

"Hey, since we're here, could you tell something about yourselves?" asked Elena.

"Yes, I mean, I'm very curious about your world." said Isabel.

"The truth is that I am too." said Francisco.

"Surely you have a lot to tell, don't you?" asked Luisa.

The gang looked at each other before sharing a smile.

"Where do we start?" asked Littlefoot.

For the next few minutes, the gang passed the time telling the royal family about most of their adventures. Crossing the Mysterious Beyond and taking on fearsome sharpteeth.

Needless to say, the family was completely shocked to discover that a group of kids would go on so many adventures and face such fearsome dangers. Sure, Elena and her friends had been through them too, but they were nothing like the ones the gang went through.

"Unbelievable, I never thought you would have gone through all that!" said Elena, impressed by the gang's adventures.

"You can say that again. They almost compare to the ones Elena had with her friends." said Isabel.

"Aren't you afraid of getting hurt?" asked Luisa.

"A little, but we're a little used to our adventures." said Littlefoot.

"Sometimes it is we who go toward danger, and sometimes it is danger that comes toward us." said Cera.

"And very scary." said Petrie.

"But despite that, we tend to have a lot of fun. Yep, yep, yep." said Ducky as Spike nodded.

"That's the way I like it, kids. With positivity in the face of danger." said Francisco.

"You certainly are very brave." said Elena stroking the longneck's head with a smile.

"Hey, what do you say we take you for a walk around the kingdom?" asked Isabel.

"Sounds like a good idea." said Chomper.

"Yes, there are many things we want to see about this kingdom that has many things we want to see." said Ruby.

"Well, that's all there is to it." said Elena getting up from her seat. "Let's get going."

For half the day, Elena and Isabel were taking the gang all over the kingdom. People kept throwing curious glances at the gang, but seeing that they were with the princesses and that, I repeat, it wasn't the weirdest thing in the kingdom, they let it pass.

First they took them to see the stores of the kingdom, where the gang could enjoy the things they were bestowing, from toys, costumes to ornaments. Of course, they also went to Doña Paloma's store, despite their little complaints, and it didn't get any better when Spike accidentally broke a vase in the store.

After sorting out that little disaster, they went on with the tour.

Afterwards, they were taken to the port where they met Naomi and she was explaining a bit about the ships and their importance to the kingdom.

Then, they went to what could be considered the most delicious part of the tour, as their next stop was the food stalls, such as Gabriel's parents' bakery and Julio and Carmen's restaurant.

Needless to say, the gang enjoyed the meals so much that they felt like they were going to explode, much to the amusement of the two sisters.

For the gang, it was certainly a magical place, and not just because of the powers of their crown princess, but because of all the wonderful things it had and the people there.

It was already noon when they had their break to digest everything they ate and now they were walking through the streets of the kingdom.

"How have you found the kingdom so far?" asked Elena.

"It's a wonderful kingdom! Yep, yep, yep!" said Ducky.

"Everything you sell here is kind of weird for us, but it's also fun even though it's kind of weird for us." said Ruby.

"Not to mention food." said Petrie.

"Yeah, I don't think I've seen Spike eat that much in a long time." said Chomper.

Spike burped for emphasis, causing the others to burst out laughing.

"My sister may not be the queen yet, but she always makes sure it's a happy place for everyone." said Isabel.

"Well you do a good job." said Cera.

"I'm sure you'll make a great queen." said Littlefoot.

"Stop it, kids. You're embarrassing me." said Elena with a blush of embarrassment as Isabel chuckled at her sister's situation.

"So what are we going to do now?" asked Chomper.

Elena folded her arms and touched her chin with a finger as she thought of something to entertain herself. A couple of seconds later, a smile formed on her face as a very funny idea crossed her mind.

"I have an idea." Elena said.

Later, the two sisters and the gang found themselves at the olaball stadium, with the two sisters wearing a game uniform. But while they were excited about the game, the gang was very confused.

"So what are we doing here?" asked Ducky.

"Well, since we've shown you the touristy side of Avalor, it's time we showed you the fun side. Starting with the olaball." said Elena showing the game ball.

"What olaball?" asked Petrie.

"It's a game in which two teams of five players pass the ball until it goes through the hoop." explained Isabel pointing to the hoops that were hanging on the wall on either side of the stadium. "The team that scores the most points before the game is over wins."

"Ah, I get it. It's like when we play with a rolling stone." said Chomper.

"Only we pass it to each other without actually passing it anywhere." said Ruby.

"Then this will be very easy for you. So, what do you say we have a friendly game?" asked Elena.

"That's a great idea. I'm sure we'll have a lot of fun." said Littlefoot.

"Wait a minute. You said it was two teams of five, but counting all of us, there are 9 of us. We can't play with one less player." said Cera.

"That's why I came." the group turned their heads to the side to see Naomi arriving at the stadium in her game uniform.

"Naomi? What are you doing here?" asked Ducky.

"I recently finished my duties at the port and that's when Elena informed me of an olaball match with you and I couldn't resist." said Naomi.

"With her, we 10 players now." said Petrie.

"Exactly, so we can start playing." said Elena.

Shortly after, the teams were formed. On one side were Elena, Isabel, Littlefoot, Petrie and Spike, on the other were Naomi, Cera, Ducky, Chomper and Ruby.

Armando, who had been asked to be the match referee, stood in the center of the field with the ball.

"All right. Listen to me, everybody. I want fair play. You can hit the ball with any part of your body except your hands. Understood?" asked Armando receiving nods from everyone. "Okay. Let the game begin!" announced Armando before throwing the ball very high.

First to act was Petrie, who flew to the height of the ball before hitting it with his head to send it to his team, but then, Armando blew the whistle.

"Foul! You're not allowed to fly higher than the height of the field." said Armando.

"Ups." said Petrie before flying back to the others.

"Don't feel bad, Petrie. A glitch can happen to anyone." said Littlefoot.

"Besides, until now, no olaball player could fly." said Elena.

Armando stood in the center with the ball in hand and threw it back into the air.

Elena quickly ran to the center, jumped up and managed to hit the ball with her head towards Littlefoot, who hit it with his tail to throw it to Petrie, but immediately got scared of the size and speed of the ball and dodged it, letting it bounce off the wall before it was passed to Cera who hit it with her head to send it to Naomi.

Naomi hit the ball into a hoop, but before it went in, Isabel climbed on top of Spike and used him as a springboard so she could reach the ball and swipe it to the other side with one swipe.

"Thanks for the help, Spike." said Isabel receiving a nod from the spiketail.

The ball ended up reaching Ruby who bounced it several times on her back and head before sending it kicking to Chomper, who was bouncing it with his body as he thought of his next move.

"I'm free! I'm free!" shouted Ducky drawing the attention of the sharptooth who kicked the ball towards her.

Ducky got ready to hit the ball, but then, Littlefoot got in the way and hit the ball with his tail, making it bounce off the walls before at last, Naomi caught it and threw it to Cera, who hit it with her tail, managing to make the ball go through the hoop.

Just then, Armando blew the whistle.

"Point for Naomi's team!" announced Armando adding a point to the team's score.

"Nice shot, Cera!" said Naomi.

"It was easy since the ball was much lighter than a rock." said Cera.

"I can believe it." commented Naomi.

"Yikes. They beat us." said Petrie.

"It's okay, kids. It was just a point." said Elena.

"Yeah. We still have a lot of game left." said Isabel.

"We just have to work together to get a point." said Littlefoot with determination.

"That's the spirit." said Elena.

Soon after, Armando threw the ball in the air again.

Naomi used her hands to propel Ducky to reach for the ball and hit it, launching it straight for the hoop, but Petrie hit it with his head in mid-stride, deflecting it in another direction.

Cera stood at the end of the ball's path, but Isabel was quicker and swung at the ball to launch it towards Spike who hit the ball with his head, launching it straight up.

"I have it! I have it!" shouted Ruby standing where the ball was going to land, but just as the ball was about to land on her, Elena jumped over her and sent the ball in another direction. "I don't have it."

The ball was sent toward Littlefoot who hit it with his tail and sent it toward a wall where it bounced off, then bounced off another wall, until it ended up going toward Elena, who, with a swipe, sent it toward the opposing team's hoop.

At that moment, Armando blew the whistle.

"End of the first half! Point for Elena's team!" announced Armando scoring the point.

"Good! We scored!" said Littlefoot.

"Don't crow victory yet." said Cera.

"The game is not over. No, no, no." said Ducky.

"Well, just know that we're not going to be so docile in the second half." said Isabel, crossing her arms.

"Same here." said Naomi.

And so, for quite a while, the group was enjoying a fun time playing all together. In all that time, the gang had had the time of their lives.

They had certainly had a day to remember in the kingdom of Avalor.
