After the mission, Victor and Anita decided to report back to U.Z.Z. and explain everything that happened during that mission.
"It was the strangest thing," Anita was explaining to Professor Professor and Joey Joe Joe Jr. Shabadoo. "The Reptogators started attacking Cuckoo even though it didn't seem apparent why at first. It didn't take long before Victor and I discovered that the nightclub was covered in stink pheromones like the ones the Reptogators give off. Someone must have sprayed Cuckoo with the pheromones to attract the Reptogators, but why?"
"Unfortunately, we don't have answers right now," Professor Professor said. "What we do know is that the stink pheromones you smelled coming from Cuckoo aren't just any stink pheromones. They're actually sex pheromones. Someone must've sprayed Cuckoo with the sex pheromones to trick the Reptogators into thinking they were going to find someone to mate and procreate with."
"But why Cuckoo, of all places?" Victor asked, confused. "And what would T.H.E.M. have to do with the Reptogators attacking everyone at the nightclub? I mean, Anita and I saw their flying spidery base parked near Cuckoo, so we can't help but assume that they must've played some part in the Reptogators attacking everyone."
"Maybe..." Professor Professor seemed to be lost in thought for a moment before he said something again. "We can't do anything with T.H.E.M., though, until we can be certain they had something to do with the Reptogator attack in Cuckoo."
"So what do we do now?" Joey Joe Joe Jr. Shabadoo asked.
"We'll have to investigate this until we can find out for sure who did it," Professor Professor replied.
"Sounds good to me. At the very least, we can make sure we can prevent any other nightclub attacks in Northern Ireland in the future."
"Ja."
That evening, he decided to start work on analyzing the evidence the perpetrator must've left behind while covering Cuckoo in the Reptogator sex pheromones. He kept at it for a while until he eventually reached a dead end. He simply had no idea at that moment who the hell was spraying or covering Cuckoo with Reptogator sex pheromones... until he considered asking Doctor Doctor. He had to admit, it was a daunting task asking an ex-girlfriend if she was behind a certain Reptogator attack. Still, it was better than nothing. He contacted Agent Kowalski and asked her to drop her off at the T.H.E.M. base so he could talk to Doctor Doctor alone.
"Are you sure that's a good idea, sir?" Kowalski asked him. "We all know what she's capable of."
"Is the top of my head shiny?" He was met with silence. "I thought so. Now take me over to the flying spidery base. I've got an investigation to conduct."
"Yes, sir." Kowalski mounted onto her skybike and then had Professor Professor follow her lead. "Just so we're clear, I'm only doing this because you need a ride. And of course, I'll be waiting right outside in case something happens and you need my help."
"Okay, thank you, Kowalski."
"It's the least I could do."
With that, Professor Professor hopped off the skybike and knocked on the T.H.E.M. base's door.
"Hello?" a feminine voice asked in a Nigerian-British accent. "Who's there?"
"It's me, Professor Professor," he replied. "I'd like to talk with Doctor Doctor alone."
"What do you want?"
"I'm trying to get to the bottom of the Reptogator attack at Cuckoo. I promise, it won't take long."
A few seconds of silence went by. "Very well."
The door opened to reveal Expendable Ultramarine Twenty. From what little Professor Professor could see of her beyond her outfit, she had dark brown skin and thick lips.
"Right this way, Professor Professor." Expendable Ultramarine Twenty gestured towards a corridor. "She's working in the room at the very end."
Professor Professor kept pace with her as he followed her down the corridor and then another one and then another one. He got confused at one point, but he soon corrected himself and kept following the Expendable. Eventually, they stopped at a door that appeared to be made of pure steel. Expendable Ultramarine Twenty opened the door to reveal Doctor Doctor working on a new evil plan at her desk.
"Ma'am," Expendable Ultramarine Twenty called out to her boss. "Professor Professor wants to talk to you about something. He wants to do it alone."
Doctor Doctor craned her neck to get a good look at Expendable Ultramarine Twenty and Professor Professor. She gave with a reluctant sigh. "Fine, he can stay in here. As for you, Expendable Ultramarine Twenty, why don't you leave right now and try spending some time with the other Expendables?"
Expendable Ultramarine Twenty started heading off towards the door. "Alright, will do, ma'am."
With that, Expendable Ultramarine Twenty left. Soon, Professor Professor and Doctor Doctor were alone in her room. He kept an eye on her in case she tried to pull a fast one on him.
"How nice of you to visit." There was a hint of sarcasm in Doctor Doctor's voice as she said it. "If you don't mind me asking, why are you here?"
"I just need to know who it was that covered Cuckoo in Reptogator sex pheromones," Professor Professor replied.
"And why exactly are you asking me this? Are you insinuating that I did it?"
"No, I've implied nothing of the sort. Only reason I ask is because the T.H.E.M. base has happened to be parked near Cuckoo for a while now. I mean it certainly wouldn't be too inconvenient for you to just collect some Reptogator sex pheromones and then slather them all over a building so it'll attract Reptogators who are down to mate, would it?"
Doctor Doctor looked to be getting flustered by his accusatory tone. "Of course not, but that's not why we parked near Cuckoo."
"Oh yeah, then why did you?"
"We were there to rob the patrons, but not before drugging them by spiking their drinks. Why are you being such a pochemuchka?"
"I just want to get to the bottom of what happened, that's all..."
Doctor Doctor raised an eyebrow while noting the pause he made at the end. "And?"
Professor Professor suddenly found himself unable to say anything further. He only had a few seconds to offset the mental block, so he quickly pulled her close and kissed her. This was enough to catch not only Doctor Doctor off-guard, but also himself. Three seconds later, Professor Professor pulled away, having left Doctor Doctor all bug-eyed with her lower jaw slightly ajar. The T.H.E.M. leader wasn't even sure what just happened or how to process it. It'd all happened so quickly. This just wasn't something that happened around here. Once Professor Professor realized what he'd done, he started heading off.
"W-Wait," Doctor Doctor called out to him when she forced herself to speak again. "Where are you going? Don't you want to finish asking me things?"
"No, I think I got what I needed, thank you," Professor Professor quickly rambled out.
Doctor Doctor just grabbed ahold of his wrist while he tried to leave. "Not so fast. We've got unfinished business to tend to."
Professor Professor couldn't exactly understand why, but for some reason he was all giddy just hearing her say that. He even blushed a little.
Kowalski had no idea what was taking Professor Professor so long. She decided to go in and see what the hold-up was. She got off her skybike and knocked on the T.H.E.M. base's door.
"Hello?" Expendable Ultramarine Twenty asked. "Who's there?"
"I'm Agent Kowalski from U.Z.Z.," the other woman replied. "Where's Professor Professor? He hasn't come out in a while."
"Oh, he's talking with Doctor Doctor." Expendable Ultramarine Twenty opened the door and let Agent Kowalski in. "Come on, I'll show you."
Expendable Ultramarine Twenty then had Kowalski follow her down the same corridor she'd led Professor Professor through until they stopped at the pure steel door.
"Alright, this is as far as I will go," Expendable Ultramarine Twenty announced. "Make it quick."
Expendable Ultramarine Twenty then just walked away. Kowalski then firmly knocked on the door, apparently unperturbed by moaning she could hear on the other side.
"Come on, sir, it's time to go," Kowalski said.
"Not now, Kowalski!" Professor Professor called out from behind the door.
"Sir, we need to get you home."
"I said not now!"
Kowalski seemed somewhat miffed by Professor Professor's tone. "Alright, guess I'll have to come in anyway."
"Wait, don't!"
Kowalski opened the door just enough to get a peek of inside the room, only to quickly shut it when she saw what was actually happening.
"I think I'll just wait here for a bit," a flush-faced Kowalski told Expendable Ultramarine Twenty nearby.
"What for?" Expendable Ultramarine Twenty asked curiously. "What happened?"
"I saw them jumping each other's bones."
Expendable Ultramarine Twenty instantly understood what Kowalski meant. "Well, then, wait until they're done and then you can take Professor Professor home. I think they need this badly anyway." The Expendable punctuated her sentence with a cheeky wink.
