When Elena, Littlefoot and all their friends arrived at the hidden maruvian ruins, they expected a quiet exploration in search of the magic totem. However, things went awry when Shuriki and her allies suddenly appeared.

They thought they were prepared to face them, but it turned out to be wrong when Shuriki revealed their new ally, the Deinonycanis.

"What is that?" asked Isabel fearfully at the unfamiliar creature.

"Does that creature look familiar?" asked Naomi.

"No. It looks like a sharptooth, but I've never seen anything like it." said Chomper.

"He terrifying." said Petrie shivering a little.

"Where did that being come from?" asked Littlefoot.

"What did you do, Shuriki?" asked Elena without taking her eyes off the witch and her new ally.

"Oh, I was simply inspired by your idea of adding unknown creatures to my ranks. And if I'm being honest, I didn't expect the result to end up that way. I called it Deinonycanis." said Shuriki.

"Deinonycanis? Now that creature really doesn't ring a bell, because that name is ridiculous." said Cera.

"Hey! I came up with it!" exclaimed Carla offended.

"I don't care what you think. All you need to know is that he's very loyal to me. I'll prove it to you. Deinonycanis." said Shuriki getting the creature's attention. "Finish them off." said Shuriki with an evil grin.

The Deinonycanis turned his gaze to the human-dinosaur group and let out a powerful roar before charging towards them.

Elena and Mateo quickly cast spells to stop him, but the Deinonycanis dodged them before pouncing on them.

"Scatter!" shouted Elena.

Quickly, the group split off in various directions, causing the Deinonycanis to land on the ground and let out a roar of rage before continuing in one of the directions they went.

Victor burst out laughing at the situation.

"That's right! Run away like rats!" said Victor.

"It would be better not to let him have all the fun. Don't you think?" asked Fiero to the witch.

"I agree with that." Shuriki said before turning to her other allies. "Go and finish them off."

"One question. what if we run into the...?" asked Cruz unable to remember the creature's name.

"Deinonycanis?" asked Vesta.

"That." said Cruz.

"Well, just leave him alone. I'm sure he must have found some interesting prey." said Shuriki with a sinister smile.

The gang and Isabel had run off to one side, but unfortunately, they had become the target of the Deinonycanis, which was now chasing them.

The chase took them through the ruins, but no matter where they went, they couldn't throw the creature off the scent.

It was then that Littlefoot saw something that would help them.

"Hurry, this way!" said Littlefoot, leading the others behind a wall.

Without making a sound, they remained hidden behind the wall. The Deinonycanis stopped near the wall. He looked around and then left the place.

"Do you think we've thrown him off?" asked Isabel.

Suddenly, the Deinonycanis landed on top of the wall and roared at them. They had to flee again in time to dodge a bite from the creature.

"I'm guessing not." said Ruby.

Again they tried to throw the creature off by running back and forth, but he was proving to be very smart and fast and they knew they would get caught sooner or later he would catch them.

During their flight, Isabel ended up tripping and fell to the ground.

"Isabel!" shouted Ducky worried for her, but Spike was the most worried.

When Isabel raised her head and turned it over, her eyes widened in horror at the sight of the Deinonycanis above her and his mouth dropped open.

The princess screamed in terror at the sight of death so close, but then, a whimper caught the Deinonycanis' attention and he turned his gaze forward, seeing that the cause was Spike charging towards him.

Before he could react, Spike rammed into the creature, sending him backwards and wasted no time in hoisting the princess onto his back before quickly fleeing.

"Thank you, Spike. I owe you one." said Isabel.

The Deinonycanis stood up and roared in rage before resuming the chase.

The gang had to do something as soon as possible or they would end up being caught in the creature's clutches.

Fortunately, Cera spotted something that might be of use.

"Littlefoot, Ruby, follow me!" said Cera picking up the pace to go in another direction.

The other two didn't hesitate to follow her, as they assumed she had a plan.

The place she led them to was a platform that was near a badly cracked column with the risk of breaking. And the best part was that it was on the path the others were going.

When they saw that the time was right, the three began to push the column hard and soon after, due to the force and the deteriorated appearance of the column, it ended up being knocked down right on top of the Deinonycanis.

Noticing their downed pursuer, the others stopped to catch their breath.

"Phew. Good thing it's over." said Chomper.

Suddenly, a roar was heard from within the rubble followed by a slight stirring, a sign that the Deinonycanis was alive and was trying to break free.

"Or maybe you're wrong." said Ducky shortly before the three who knocked down the column arrived.

"That should buy us some time. Let's get out of here." said Littlefoot.

"Run and live. A plan me follow." said Petrie before he and the others ran as far away from the site as possible.

A minute later, the pile of rubble exploded and the Deinonycanis rose up with a roar of rage that could be heard from all over the place.

Shuriki was walking leisurely through the ruins as she looked from side to side in search of her main target.

"Come on, princess. I've been playing hide and seek with you for 40 years and I'm starting to get tired of it." said Shuriki with a cocky smile.

Unbeknownst to her, Elena was close to the area where the witch was, hiding to give a surprise attack.

It was then that Shuriki decided to do something that would surely bring the crown princess out of hiding.

"You know? Your new friend seems interesting. You must care a lot." said Shuriki causing Elena to tighten her grip on her scepter. "Maybe if he manages to get rid of the Deinonycanis, I should go and meet him... personally." said Shuriki.

"Leave him alone!" shouted Elena coming out of hiding and shooting a spell at the witch, but she dodged it.

"I see you were tired of this game too." said Shuriki without losing her smile.

"Stay away from him! Did you hear me?" asked Elena angrily before shooting another spell, but Shuriki shot her own and both attacks destroyed each other.

Unfortunately, Elena was so furious with the witch that she kept shooting spells nonstop while the witch dodged or blocked the attacks without losing her smile at any moment, as that was exactly what she wanted.

"Inferno!" shouted Shuriki firing a sphere of darkness.

Fortunately, Elena snapped out of her state of rage in time to dodge the attack, though the resulting explosion sent her rolling a bit.

"You were seriously training with the sunbirds? Either you're a bad student or they're bad teachers." said Shuriki.

Elena was about to let herself fall into a rage, but as soon as she heard about the sunbirds, she remembered what she was taught, about not getting carried away by emotions, which Shuriki had tried to do to catch her off guard, but now that she knew her intentions, Elena stood up and took a deep breath to calm herself before turning a serious look at the witch.

"Save your breath, Shuriki. Let's get this over with already." said Elena pointing her scepter at the witch.

"You took the words right out of my mouth." said Shuriki pointing her scepter at the crown princess.

Gabriel and Naomi ended up running off to the side, hoping to escape the terrible creature that Shuriki had mysteriously gotten a hold of.

"Will he be chasing us?" asked Naomi.

Gabriel turned his head slightly to look back and seeing nothing and no one, he stopped immediately, sliding a little on the ground and then Naomi stopped as well.

"Looks like he didn't follow us." said Gabriel.

"Do you think the others will be okay?" asked Naomi. "I mean, the kids told us that sharpteeth were scary creatures and if that thing was created by Shuriki, it's a lot worse than we would think."

"You're right. We'd better go find them and help them." said Gabriel.

"You're not going anywhere." the two teenagers turned to the side to look at Victor Delgado and his daughter. "We still have unfinished business."

"Really? You don't remember the beating we gave you last time?" asked Naomi.

"Oh, of course we remember, but remember also that you won because you had those creatures with you. Now that they're busy with our new member, things will be very different." said Carla.

"I guess if we want to go help our friends, we'll have to deal with them first." said Gabriel drawing his sword.

"I guess I knew this would come to pass." said Naomi getting ready to fight.

Mateo was running back and forth with the intention of finding his friends from whom he had become separated when he escaped from the Deinonycanis.

"Elena! Isabel! Kids! Where are you?" asked Mateo.

"I don't know, but I'm here." said a male voice from the side before Mateo noticed something incoming from the side and quickly stepped back to dodge it.

Turning to the side, he discovered that the person who cast the spell was Fiero.

"I see you've decided to join the party, Fiero." Mateo said squinting at his nemesis.

"Well yes. I'm sorry I wasn't there earlier, it was a bit busy, but lucky for you, I've got the people freed up now." said Fiero preparing his tamborita while Mateo did the same.

Above the ruins, the three good jaquins were flying back and forth in search of their friends before the Deinonycanis found them first.

"This place is huge. It'll take us a long time to find it." said Luna.

"Maybe we should split up and cover more ground." said Skylar.

"That's not a bad idea. In that case... Stop!" said Migs causing the three of them to suddenly stop in time to avoid being hit by a pair of missiles, which turned out to be the two bad jaquins.

"Cheers. We almost had them." said Vesta.

"For someone so old, you have good reflexes." said Cruz.

"Out of our way!" said Skylar.

"Sorry, but we want to make you pay for what you and your little flying friend did to us before." said Cruz.

"Well, you sure are spiteful." said Luna.

"We don't have time for this. Let's go!" said Migs as he and the other two flew off to the side.

"Hey! Come back here!" shouted Vesta before she and her brother went chasing after them.

Having managed to get far enough away from the Deinonycanis, the gang and the princess stopped in an area where they could rest from having run so much.

"Phew. That monster really scary." said Petrie lying on the back of Spike.

"Is that how things are when you meet sharpteeth?" asked Isabel.

"Pretty much, yes." said Littlefoot.

"Don't you have something to rid us of that Dei...whatever it is?" asked Cera.

"No. I came prepared for a simple exploration, not to take on a real sharptooth." Isabel said.

"But we have to do or he'll end up finding our friends." said Chomper.

"We can't allow that. No, no, no." said Ducky.

"But what can we do? Whatever we do, that sharptooth looks very strong and smart no matter what we do." said Ruby.

Littlefoot and Isabel started to think of a way to get rid of the Deinonycanis, but at the moment, they found nothing that could defeat such a strong and intelligent creature.

Suddenly, they noticed something near where they were and approached to investigate. What they saw was a very deep well. So deep that it was almost difficult to see the bottom.

The other members of the gang came over to find out what the two were seeing.

"What is this?" asked Ducky.

"It must be a maruvian security mechanism against intruders or something." said Isabel.

"Guys, I think I know how to get rid of the sharptooth." Littlefoot said getting everyone's attention. "We could lure him into this hole."

"He's right. It's deep enough that he can't escape by jumping and the wall seems to be made in such a way that it would be hard for him to climb it." said Isabel understanding the longneck's idea.

"Exactly." said Littlefoot.

"Good plan, but how will we get him to fall to there? I highly doubt he'll fall for such an old trick." said Cera.

"What if we use that to push him over?" asked Chomper pointing to a large rocks.

"Yes. Once the sharptooth is here, we'll throw those rocks over it and drop it into the hole." said Ruby.

"Perfect. All we need is a bait to lure him in." said Isabel.

Suddenly, they aimed their gazes at the two smallest of the group.

"We?" asked Ducky.

"Oh, no, no, no, no. Me not wanna be sharptooth bait." Petrie said.

"But Petrie, if we want the plan to work we need you and Ducky's help." said Littlefoot.

"But why us? Why can't someone else be the bait?" asked Ducky.

"Unfortunately, we need all the strength we can get to throw those rocks." said Isabel.

"Come on, guys. We know you can do it." said Chomper.

"We trust you." said Cera.

At the trusting looks from their friends, the two little dinosaurs had no choice but to go along with it.

Later, the two found themselves walking cautiously through the ruins in search of the Deinonycanis.

"I don't like this at all. No, no, no." said Ducky very nervous about being at the mercy of a predator.

"Don't worry. You little, right?" asked Petrie walking beside her and getting a nod from the swimmer.

"If sharptooth show up, you able to hide anywhere." said Petrie.

"Oh, thank you. I feel so much better now!" said Ducky sarcastically.

They kept walking and still had no clues about the Deinonycanis.

"Me know that part of plan, but me not wanna find sharptooth." Petrie said.

"Me neither. No, no, no." said Ducky.

Suddenly, the Deinonycanis burst through a wall next to them and stood in front of them before letting out a roar.

"AAAHHH!" the two shouted before they began to quickly flee, with the Deinonycanis chasing after them.

During the flight, Petrie took flight and grabbed Ducky's hands with his paws, pulling her into flight.

"Quick! Let's get him to the hole!" said Ducky.

"Got it!" said Petrie before he flew in the right direction, keeping his distance so the Deinonycanis wouldn't catch them and so he wouldn't lose sight of them.

After quite a while flying, they finally reached the hole area, where Petrie landed, leaving Ducky on the ground, but then, before they could say anything, the Deinonycanis came to the spot with a leap.

The creature tried to crush them with his claws, but the two dinosaurs moved out of the way and began scurrying around him to distract him, as, half a distance away, at the edge of a ramp, the others were behind some rocks the size of the Deinonycanis which they were going to throw rolling towards him to push him into the hole.

"It's time. Let's push!" declared Littlefoot before he and the others began pushing the rocks.

Despite their concerted efforts, the rocks didn't seem to be moving and they had no time to waste.

Things were getting complicated for the two small dinosaurs as well, as they were having a hard time dodging the Deinonycanis' paws. Finally, the Deinonycanis tired of the game and just as Ducky got behind him, instead of turning around to swipe at her with his paws as he had been doing, he used his tail to swipe at her and send her towards Petrie, causing the collision to knock them both down.

When they raised their heads, they saw to their horror the Deinonycanis' head above them and with his mouth beginning to open. They both couldn't help but scream in horror.

Isabel, hearing the screams, averted her gaze from the rock to the area where they were, only to be horrified by the situation of her friends.

"Oh no! They're in danger!" said Isabel running to them, ready to help them.

"Wait, Isabel!" said Littlefoot trying to stop the princess.

"It's too dangerous!" said Ruby.

"It's already too late. If we want to help her, we'd better do this as soon as possible." said Cera pushing the rock again.

The others agreed with her and went back to pushing the rocks with more effort than before.

As she ran along, Isabel went through her belongings quickly looking for anything that might be of use.

"Come on. There's got to be something." said Isabel looking through the things she had brought and finally... she found it, in the form of a stick that, at the push of a button, extended until it became a staff. "This will do."

Meanwhile, Ducky and Petrie crawled slowly, trying to escape the creature that was about to devour them.

"Sharptooth nice. Sharptooth nice." said Petrie nervously.

The Deinonycanis opened his mouth, ready to devour them when suddenly there was a scream and before they could wonder where they came from, Isabel landed with a leap on the creature's back and put the staff in his mouth as she pulled back.

"Why don't you pick on someone your own size?" asked Isabel keeping her grip on the staff as she pulled towards her.

The Deinonycanis began to move like a wild bull to get rid of the princess.

"Isabel!" cried Ducky and Petrie worried for their friend.

"Don't worry about me! Go with the others! I'll distract him!" said Isabel as she did her best not to fly away due to the swinging creature.

As much as they didn't want to, they knew that if they wanted to save their friend, they had to complete the plan as soon as possible, so they ran in a hurry to go with the others to help them with the rocks.

For a while, Isabel was able to hold the staff that kept the creature's mouth open as he wiggled back and forth to get her off him. Suddenly, the Deinonycanis, with one strong bite, broke the staff, much to the princess's shock and before she could think of anything else, the Deinonycanis swung back, sending the princess flying into the hole.

Fortunately, she managed to grab onto the edge of the hole before it was too late.

The Deinonycanis approached the hole and turned his gaze to the princess, who was wide-eyed with horror at her impending doom. The creature raised his claw to finish her off when suddenly...

"There they go!" shouted Littlefoot as at last, the gang managed to push the rocks into the ramp and they began to roll into the hole.

The Deinonycanis caught wind of this and dodged a couple of rocks, but just as he dodged the second, a third rock hit him and pushed him to the edge of the hole, where he began to stagger to regain his balance and avoid falling.

However, Cera charged with all her might towards the creature and with a headbutt, pushed him over and sent him tumbling down the hole while letting out a powerful roar.

Suddenly, Isabel began to feel her grip loosening rapidly and just as she lost it completely and was about to fall, Spike managed to grab her by the dress with his mouth and pulled her out of the hole.

The princess was quick to thank the spiketail with a hug.

"Thank you so much, Spike." said Isabel before giving him a kiss on the head, causing him to blush slightly.

"Do you think it's over?" asked Chomper.

Soon after, they all peered into the hole to see the result of their plan. Despite the depth, they could see the Deinonycanis lying at the bottom of the hole. Suddenly, the creature woke up and, looking at them, let out a roar of rage. He tried to grab onto the wall with his claws, but the wall was too hard and he wasn't able to dig his claws in, so he couldn't climb it.

He tried several times, but there was no result and that made him let out a much louder roar of rage.

"Looks like, just as we thought, it can't come out that it was just as we thought." said Ruby.

"Yep, yep, yep! Our plan was a success!" said Ducky.

"True, but let's not tell my sister about the fact that I rode on the back of that creature." said Isabel.

"Don't worry. There are things we never tell our families." said Cera.

That made the group chuckle slightly.

Mateo and Fiero were in a fierce battle between powerful wizards, casting spells at each other while either dodging them or blocking them with more spells.

Faced with constant enemy attacks, Mateo had no choice but to protect himself by hiding behind a nearby pillar.

"Give up, boy. You don't have half the power your grandfather had and even if you had it in full, you wouldn't be able to defeat me." said Fiero before casting a spell that destroyed the pillar, but Mateo was able to get out of the place before that happened.

"I may not be powerful, but I sure am smarter than you." said Mateo before casting a spell that created a flash of light so powerful that it forced the elder malvago to cover his eyes as he groaned.

Mateo took that moment to cast a spell that knocked the malvago down, but he quickly got up.

"Nasty brat." said Fiero angrily before casting a spell, but Mateo cast his own and when both spells collided with each other, there was an explosion.

Fiero tried to hit him with another spell, but Mateo rolled to the side to dodge it before casting a spell at the malvago, but he jumped to the side to avoid it.

However, Mateo acted faster than him and cast a spell that came at him faster than he could react and ended up hitting him, knocking him down in the process.

Mateo cast the spell that would turn him back into a stone statue, but Fiero, not wanting to suffer that again, reacted quickly and managed to cast a spell that teleported him away from there.

"Yikes. He got away." said Mateo before shrugging his shoulders. "It's okay. We'll meet again." said Mateo before leaving to find his friends.

The three good jaquins continued flying through the ruins area while the two evil jaquins chased them. At one point in the chase, they got separated and since they were 3 against 2, one of them, Migs, got away, as Cruz was chasing Skylar and Vesta was chasing Luna.

"I'll catch up with you sooner or later. I'm much faster than you." said Vesta.

"Then why are you still back there?" asked Luna mockingly, causing the bad jaquin to growl in frustration before accelerating her speed.

Luna shifted her gaze forward to see the area they were in and a smile formed on her feline face as a plan formed in her mind.

"Well, if you claim to be very fast, let's see if you're agile as well." said Luna before moving into the area of ruins below, with the bad jaquin following her.

The chase quickly turned into an obstacle course of sorts, with the two jaquins moving back and forth to avoid them. During the chase, Vesta managed to get within an inch of Luna's tail, but didn't notice that she was smiling about it.

The two picked up speed and suddenly, before Vesta could grab her opponent's tail, Luna made a 90-degree turn upwards and before Vesta could react, she ended up crashing into a wall that was so badly damaged that it ended up crumbling on top of her, burying her in a pile of rubble.

"How about staying there for a while, huh?" asked Luna before going in search of the others.

Speaking of the others.

Skylar continued his pursuit as he ran away from Cruz.

"Hey, Cruz. I have a question, did Shuriki recruit you for your skills or because she felt sorry for you?" asked Skylar with a smirk.

"You want to see my skills? Gladly." said Cruz before accelerating his speed a bunch, managing to get closer and closer to the good jaquin.

However, before he managed to catch up to him, Skylar did a complete flip in midair. In fact, when he was on top of him, he winked at him as the bad jaquin looked at him in surprise. By the time Skylar finished his spin, he was behind him, turning the tables on the chase.

"By the way, I think you forgot one tiny little detail." Skylar said, making a little gesture with his fingers.

"Oh yeah? And what's that?" asked Cruz.

"That you forgot someone else." said an older, male voice.

Cruz's eyes widened in surprise before he turned his gaze forward, only to find Migs flying directly at him and, unbeknownst to him, Skylar was flying at him from behind.

Cruz braced himself for the possible impact of the two jaquins, but then, the two turned their bodies at a 90-degree angle and passed by either side of the bad jaquin. The speed at which they were going caused Cruz to spin quickly like a top, causing him to become dizzy and before he came to his senses, Skylar lunged at him from above and, with one blow, sent him to the ground, knocking him down in the process.

"Touch and sink." said Skylar.

"Great timing, no doubt." commented Migs.

"Well, I've had the best teacher." said Skylar.

"Let's save the flattery for later. We need to go get the others." said Migs.

"Roger that." said Skylar before the two left to join the rest of their friends, hoping they weren't in trouble.

While Gabriel was taking care of Victor, Naomi was taking care of Carla. However, the situation didn't seem to be in their favor, since, as they were both malvagos, their main weapon was to cast spells that forced the two teenagers to move from one side to the other to dodge them.

After dodging another attack, Gabriel lunged towards Victor and tried to hit him with his sword, but the malvago blocked him with his tamborita before pushing him away from him and casting another spell.

Fortunately, Gabriel rolled to the side to dodge the attack in time.

Meanwhile, Naomi dodged a couple of spells from the malvaga before lunging towards her and delivering a couple of blows, forcing her to back away, but she retaliated by throwing a couple of spells at her, forcing her to back away as well.

After dodging another spell from the malvagos, the two teens stood side by side.

"This isn't working." said Naomi.

"You're right. We need to end this as soon as possible." said Gabriel.

"I have an idea. What do you say we swap?" asked Naomi with a knowing smile.

"Hey! Less talking and more fighting!" said Victor.

"That's right! We don't have all day!" said Carla before she and her father fired their spells.

The two teens dodged them, but this time, Gabriel stood in front of Carla and Naomi in front of Victor.

"Mph. I'm sorry, but you're not my type." said Carla.

"Don't be sorry. I feel the same way." said Gabriel before launching himself towards the malvaga.

Carla tried to knock him down with her spells, but Gabriel proved agile enough to dodge them all, even going so far as to crawl on his knees to dodge a spell that went over his head.

By the time he finished sliding, he had positioned himself near Carla and raised his sword. The malvaga put her tamborita as a shield, but that was a trap, because while she was in that defensive position, Gabriel took the opportunity to slide his legs between hers, making her fall on her backside.

"I thought knights didn't harm maidens." said Carla looking at the royal guard with a frown.

"First, you're not a maiden and second, I'm more about treating everyone equally." said Gabriel pointing his sword at her.

Meanwhile, Naomi was at that moment dodging the malvago's attacks.

After dodging another spell, Naomi pulled out her rope, swung it like a cowgirl and then threw it towards the malvago, who, using his tamborita as a shield, made the rope coil around it.

"Ha. Did you really think that would work?" asked Victor with a grin as he thought he had the upper hand.

"Well, in my opinion..." began Naomi before pulling the rope, pulling the tamborita away from its owner, much to his surprise. "Yes." said Naomi before quickly running towards him and then, in one leap, giving him a flying kick full in the face, knocking him down in the process.

After defeating the two malvagos, Naomi and Gabriel tied them up so they couldn't escape.

"We make a good team, don't we?" asked Gabriel.

"You said it." said Naomi before high-fiving him.

"Guys!" the two teens turned to the side at the call and saw Mateo, Isabel, Cera, Ducky, Petrie, Spike, Chomper, Ruby, Skylar, Luna and Migs heading their way.

"Are you all right?" asked Chomper.

"Never mind that. Are you okay? Last time we saw you, that creature was chasing you." said Naomi.

"Let's just say it's going to be busy for a long time." said Cera.

"Wait, did you take care of him?" asked Gabriel.

"We sure did. It was a little hard, but we made it." said Isabel.

"Because we were all together. Yep, yep, yep." said Ducky.

"Speaking of everyone, where is Littlefoot?" asked Mateo.

"Wasn't he with you?" asked Migs.

"Yes, but on the way he said he was worried about Elena, so he got separated from us to go look for her because he was worried about her." said Ruby.

"Wait a minute. If we're here and they're here..." began Skylar pointing to the two downed malvagos. "That means it's possible Elena is facing Shuriki again."

"Oh, no. They in danger." said Petrie.

"We need to go help them right away." said Luna before she and everyone else left to go find their two friends, oblivious to the fact that they had left the two held malvagos behind nor that a certain individual was approaching them.

The battle between the crown princess and the witch had become quite even, with both sides shooting spells from their scepter that they then dodged or blocked.

"Blaze!" shouted Elena shooting a sphere of light that hit the ground in front of the witch's feet, generating a cloud of dust that clouded her vision. "Blaze!" shouted Elena casting the same spell as before, only, taking advantage of the witch's blindness, she shot the sphere directly at her, knocking her down in the process.

But Shuriki stood up soon after and shot the princess a look of fury.

"Inferno!" shouted Shuriki shooting a sphere of darkness that Elena dodged by ducking to the side. Elena was ready to cast another spell, but then... "Obscure!" shouted Shuriki causing the crown princess' vision to go completely dark, preventing her from seeing anything.

"What? Where... where are you?" asked Elena looking around for the witch, but received no answer.

"Inferno!" shouted Shuriki shooting her sphere of darkness.

Despite seeing nothing, Elena quickly darted to the side to try and dodge the attack, but ended up in the true path of the attack and received it full on, being knocked down in the process and her scepter knocked away from her.

"Did you think I wouldn't learn anything from our last encounters?" asked Shuriki as she went over to the crown princess who was reaching for her scepter, but Shuriki kicked it further away. "I'm sorry, but I've had enough of these games." said Shuriki standing in front of the crown princess.

Elena let out a groan as she tried to get up and when she looked up, she bumped into the gem of the night scepter.

"Oh, one thing. Tell your parents I don't miss them." said Shuriki with a winning smile.

"ELENA!" the witch turned her gaze forward while the crown princess turned her gaze back, where they both saw Littlefoot leap toward the witch and lunge at her, sending her backward.

Littlefoot stood protectively in front of the crown princess, who was surprised at his arrival.

"Littlefoot!" said Elena.

Shuriki let out a groan as she stood up and glared angrily at the longneck.

"You've interrupted my plans for the last time, you nasty brat!" said Shuriki throwing spells nonstop at the longneck, who was moving back and forth to dodge it while Elena was lying on the ground watching the fight between the two of them.

Suddenly, just as Littlefoot moved to the side to dodge another spell, Shuriki shot another one right where the longneck was going, but he managed to stop in time. It was then, when he noticed something near where he was and went straight there shortly after dodging another spell from the witch.

That something turned out to be the scepter of light that Littlefoot grabbed with his mouth and pointed at the witch.

Shuriki was a bit taken aback by it before bursting out laughing.

"You fool! What do you think you can do with that? Only magic users can use the scepter and you're not one of them!" said Shuriki with a grin as she saw the longneck's desperate attempt amused.

"Maybe not, but that doesn't stop me from trying!" said Littlefoot despite having the scepter clutched in his mouth.

Suddenly, to the great surprise of the two humans, the gem in the scepter began to glow and before they knew it, it shot out a sphere of light and the recoil effect sent Littlefoot flying backwards a bit.

The sphere of light flew straight towards Shuriki who was so shocked by what she had just beheld that she couldn't react in time and ended up being hit by the sphere, knocking her down in the process.

Elena was still paralyzed on the ground as she tried to process what had just happened.

Suddenly, an explosion of smoke happened near Shuriki and as it dissipated it was revealed to be Fiero and the rest of the witch's allies.

"What in the world happened here?" asked Carla as she saw Shuriki and Littlefoot knocked down.

"There's no time for questions. We should leave as soon as possible." said Fiero carrying the witch over his shoulder and casting a spell that created a smokescreen.

By the time it dissipated, there was no one left except Littlefoot, who was still unconscious on the ground, and Elena, who was still lying on the ground so shocked that she was completely unaware that the villains had escaped.

A few seconds later, she snapped out of her state of shock so that she could focus on something that was much more important.

"Littlefoot!" exclaimed Elena worriedly getting up and running to the longneck's side, whom she lifted her head slightly. "Are you okay? Please, open your eyes!" said Elena hoping that nothing had happened to him.

To her relief, Littlefoot let out a small whimper before opening his eyes and turning his gaze to the crown princess.

"Elena? Are you okay?" asked Littlefoot.

In response, Elena gave him a hug, much to the longneck's surprise.

"Silly. That's what I should be asking you. I thought something happened to you." said Elena with a tone as if she was about to cry.

Littlefoot put the surprise aside and hugged her back.

"I'm sorry I worried you." said Littlefoot.

The two held that hug for a while longer, just to make sure the other was safe and sound.
