In the maruvian ruins, Elena and Littlefoot were having a peaceful moment as they hugged each other, happy that neither of them suffered any damage from the battle earlier.

It was then that they began to hear voices in the distance.

"Elena! Littlefoot!"

The two broke away from the hug and turned to the side to see the rest of their friends heading their way.

"Are you two okay? Where's Shuriki?" asked Gabriel.

"We're fine. As for Shuriki, she ran away again." said Elena.

"That witch may not be good at winning, but she'll be good at running away." said Cera.

"I agree with you." said Naomi.

"By the way, what happened to the Deinonycanis?" asked Elena remembering the new member of Shuriki's group.

"Don't worry. We've taken care of him." said Isabel.

"Although it was a little more difficult than we thought. Yep, yep, yep." said Ducky.

"But we beat sharptooth together." Petrie said.

"What happened here in the meantime?" asked Skylar.

"Well... It's a bit weird to explain, but when Shuriki had me cornered, Littlefoot rescued me, fought Shuriki and then used the scepter against her." said Elena.

"When you say he used it, do you mean he used it as a bat or what...?" Migs began confused about what the crown princess was saying.

"That he used the scepter's magic against her." revealed Elena to everyone's great surprise.

"What? Is that really true?" asked Chomper to his friend.

"I'm not sure, but yes. That's what happened." said Littlefoot.

"But you said the scepter could only be used by those who knew magic and Littlefoot isn't one of those who knows magic." said Ruby.

"I know and I can't explain it either." said Elena.

"It sure is weird all this." commented Luna.

"Maybe Zuzo knows something about this." said Mateo.

"Good idea. Zuzo! Can you hear me, Zuzo?" asked Elena loudly.

"Here I am, princess." said Zuzo suddenly appearing next to the princess.

"Oh, Zuzo, thank goodness you're here. Something strange has happened. For some reason, Littlefoot was able to use the magic of the scepter of light." said Elena telling him what happened.

"Really? Mmm. That does sound weird. Let me take a look." said Zuzo standing next to Littlefoot and examining him closely without the longneck flinching since he wasn't able to see him. "Uh-huh. I see what's going on."

"What? What is it?" asked Elena.

"Apparently your little friend possesses a hint of magical essence. It is small, but powerful. That's why he was able to use the magic of the scepter in the same way as you." said Zuzo explaining the reason for what happened.

"Wow. That... I didn't expect it." said Elena surprised by the information.

"You certainly know how to choose your friends." said Zuzo.

While Elena was having a conversation with her spirit guide, the gang couldn't help but be confused by that, since, to them, Elena was talking to herself.

"Who is she talking to?" asked Cera.

"She's talking to Zuzo, her spirit guide." said Naomi.

"What is a spirit guide?" asked Ducky.

"It's a spirit that guides humans on the right path." explained Mateo.

"And why can't we see him when Elena is seen talking to him even though we can't see him?" asked Ruby.

"Normally, you would only be able to see your spirit guide with the help of a wizard, but because of the magic she possesses within her, she is able to see him and talk to him without the help of anyone." said Mateo.

The gang was a bit surprised to discover another ability from their friend, who had apparently finished her conversation with Zuzo and turned to the others.

"What did you find out?" asked Chomper.

"You know why Littlefoot able to use the magic scepter?" asked Petrie.

"Well, yes." Elena began before turning to the longneck. "Littlefoot, it turns out that the reason you were able to use the scepter was because there is a hint of magic in you." revealed Elena.

"WHAT?" they all asked in unison surprised by the revelation.

"Littlefoot has magic? How is that possible?" asked Isabel.

"More like impossible. If Littlefoot had any magic, don't you think we would have figured it out by now?" asked Cera unable to believe that information.

"There's a point there." said Gabriel.

"Do you sense something, Littlefoot?" asked Skylar.

"Well... No. It's weird even for me." said Littlefoot very shocked by what he heard.

"But then, are there dinosaurs with the same condition or does it only happen with him?" asked Luna.

"I guess it will be a big mystery." said Migs with a shrug.

"Maybe. It would be best to put that topic aside." said Elena before a small smile formed on her face. "After all, we came here for a reason."

"Oh, that's right, that's right, that's right. We came here to find the totem that would take us home." Ducky said remembering the reason they all came to that place.

Spike nodded in agreement.

"I guess with Shuriki and the sharptooth, we kind of forgot about it." said Chomper.

"Because saving our lives was more important than looking for the totem, so we gave up looking for the totem to save our lives which was more important." said Ruby.

"But we look in many places and none find totem." said Petrie.

"That's true. We even blew up much of the place, but we didn't find anything that looked like a totem." said Skylar.

"Where could that thing be?" asked Cera.

"Even if we check the places we haven't been, it would still take quite a while." said Naomi.

It was then, when Mateo noticed something.

"Wait a minute, guys." said Mateo walking forward a bit and stopping in front of a nearby wall full of hieroglyphics.

"What is it, Mateo?" asked Gabriel.

"I recognize these symbols. When I read about the totem on these ruins, they also mentioned the exact location where it was." explained Mateo, to the surprise of the others.

"Does that mean we are near the totem?" asked Isabel.

"According to these symbols, we are." said Mateo to the delight of those present.

"Lead the way, Mateo." said Littlefoot with a smile.

Without wasting any time, the whole group followed the royal wizard who guided them through the ruins following the symbols on the walls. After a while walking, they entered a building that seemed to be more arranged than the others and once inside, they all stood with their mouths open, because in front of them, in the scepter of the inner room of the building, illuminated by the light filtered through the windows, there was a totem, the totem they were looking for.

"Is that the totem we were looking for?" asked Luna.

"Yep, yep, yep. It's exactly the same as the one we found in the caves." said Ducky with Spike nodding in confirmation.

"So how will it help us get back to our world?" asked Cera.

"Well... if I read correctly, it should be enough to touch the totem while you think of the place you want to travel to. That is, your Great Valley." said Mateo.

That news made the gang quite happy, as they were going back to their home, but deep down, they were also a bit sad, as it would mean they would have to say goodbye to their new friends. The same was true for the Avalor group, especially Elena.

They may have only spent a short time together, but it was enough for a strong bond to form between them.

"I guess this is goodbye." said Chomper sad to have to say goodbye to his new friend.

"Oh, don't be so dramatic. Now that we know about the totems, we'll most likely meet again." said Mateo to the surprise and happiness of the two dinosaurs.

"So, if we meet again, will you teach us more tricks?" asked Ruby.

"Of course." said Mateo shaking hands with the two bipedal dinosaurs.

Spike was groaning with sadness at having to say goodbye to a new friend.

"I don't want to say goodbye to you either, Spike." said Isabel hugging the spiketail before pulling away. "I want you to know that, if I ever need another helper, you'll be the first one I'll turn to." said Isabel with a smile.

Spike responded to that by starting to lick the princess's face, causing her to burst out laughing.

"Stop, stop. You're tickling me." said Isabel with a chuckle.

"You are certainly an excellent flying partner." said Skylar.

"Me say same about you. You different, but all flyers." said Petrie.

"Exactly. It doesn't matter what the differences are. It's what's on the inside that matters." said Migs.

"That sounds a little corny coming from you." said Luna, causing the others to chuckle a little, except for the older jaquin who rolled his eyes at the humor of his companions.

"You know, if what Mateo said is true and we can see each other again, maybe we'll get to visit your home." Naomi said.

"Oh, yep, yep, yep. I would like that very, very, very much. Then I could show you our wonderful valley." said Ducky.

"I would like that too." said Naomi before bringing the swimmer into a hug.

"I hope you fulfill your big dream, Naomi." said Ducky.

"Thank you, friend." said Naomi.

"What about you? Aren't you going to miss us?" asked Gabriel crossing his arms.

"Well..." began Cera trying to sound tough, but a knowing smile from the royal guard brought her to her senses. "Okay, that's fine. I'll miss you." said Cera admitting the truth.

"Hey, you don't have to look tough. You're a lot stronger than you think you are. In fact, if you were human, you would have become a member of the royal guard." said Gabriel revealing what he thought days ago.

"Really? Well that doesn't sound so bad actually." said Cera smiling at the thought of being of the royal guard.

For Elena and Littlefoot, the farewell was going to be harder for them than for the others.

"I'm sure you won't be staying a while longer. I really don't want to say goodbye to you." said Elena.

"I'd like to, but we can't do that. We have a home to go back to with our families who will surely be worried about us." said Littlefoot.

"I know. I understand, but I'm still going to miss you a lot." said Elena.

"And I will miss you too, but remember that no matter where we are or how much time passes, we will always be friends." said Littlefoot.

The crown princess and the longneck shared a tender hug that symbolized how much they cared about each other.

After they parted, Elena pulled something out of a pocket.

"I want you to have this." said Elena revealing it to be an Avalor symbol medallion with a ribbon that she placed around the longneck's neck. "So that you will always remember us the same way we will remember you." said Elena before kissing the longneck's head. "You will always be in my heart."

"And you in mine." said Littlefoot before they shared another hug.

They both wanted to hold that hug for a long time, but they knew that wasn't going to be possible.

Finally, the moment had arrived. After saying goodbye to their friends, the gang positioned themselves in front of the totem. They turned their heads to glance at their new friends and share one last smile.

After that, they turned their gaze back to the totem, Littlefoot stretched out his paw and as he touched it, a line of dust and sparks flew out of the open mouth of the tallest creature on the totem and began to swirl around the gang. Just like last time, a brief flash illuminated the area around the totem until it disappeared shortly after, showing that only the Avalor group was in the room.

"I miss them already." said Isabel.

"Me too, Isabel. Me too." said Elena.

Although they were sad that they had to say goodbye to their new friends, they knew that someday, they would meet again and when they did, they would enjoy being together again.
