"Davy?"

A voice snapped him out of it. He turned around to see Molly, who twitched a small smile.

"I lost you for a minute. Are you alright?"

He nodded but stayed beside her car.

"Can you come in with me?" He asked softly, fiddling with his hands.

She seemed a little confused but agreed.

"Of course, I can, just give me a minute to park the car, and then we can go in."

They kissed through the open window and Davy blushed.

"I love you," he whispered.

"Love you, too. Just wait in the grass and I'll be a minute."

"Okay." He sighed and walked over to the patch of grass that bordered the parking lot. He sat down on the curb and her car drove out of sight. A few minutes later, Molly walked toward him.

"You look really nice." He noticed causing her to blush and smile.

"Thank you, Davy. Are you ready to go in?"

He nodded with a sigh. She offered a hand, and the two walked in together. He began singing to himself and she squeezed his hand gently.

"Sorry, just got a little overwhelmed."

"Don't be sorry, it's fine. That's a pretty song. Did you write it?"

He shook his head and sighed with a small smile.

When they made it up to Mike's room, the two kissed one more time before Davy walked in, Molly staying outside in the hallway.

"Hey, Mike." He said, sitting down beside the bed. He tried to smile but there was a sudden wave of emotion, and he wasn't sure of what to say. "You're looking much better, you know. They keep saying it, Micky says it a lot too, but you're a fighter, and I believe in you."

He sighed.

"Things are getting back to normal back home. Well, as normal as they can be right now. You probably know it already but Peter and Micky both have paying jobs, those seem to be going well. Micky said that he was planning to stop taking so many hours because he wanted to see you more. You'll hopefully be seeing him a lot soon. I'm thinking about starting to job search myself, haven't gotten very far with that, though...and Mike, I-I...I just want you to know that I'm sorry..."

Molly turned and looked at him, slightly concerned, through the door but said nothing.

"I know I already apologized for getting you into this mess, but I keep hearing your voice in my mind telling me that it wasn't my fault. Well, I'm starting to believe that. I wanted to apologize for when we met-how I acted toward you. I'm glad I got to know you better and call you my brother."

Davy wiped a tear that had formed and looked up to see Molly, standing in the doorway, who gave him a sad smile.

"Oh! Um, Mike, there's someone here that I'd like you to meet."

Molly's eyes widened, and she was about ready to object. She stopped when she saw the sudden excitement in Davy's eyes. She grinned and hesitantly stepped into the room.

"Mike, this is-uh-my girlfriend, Molly." He took her hand, and she faced Mike, a little uncomfortable.

"It's nice to meet you. I wish it could've been under better circumstances." She sat down, Davy beside her.

"They all really love you, you know that?" She asked Mike, not expecting an answer, even if he could respond. "From what I've seen and heard, they all really look up to you."

Davy nodded, "yeah, we do. We can be pretty bad at showing it sometimes, but we do. Always have."

There was an an awkward moment where neither knew the right thing to say or do.

"Molly likes Carlisle Wheeling," he blurted out, unable to bear the silence. Molly coughed and looked at Davy, head cocked slightly to the side in confusion.

"Oh, um..." he realized what he had just said and dropped his head, giggling softly, embarrassed. "That was the song I was singing earlier. It's called Carlisle Wheeling. Mike wrote it."

She smiled and glanced back over at the man in the bed.

"You're a very talented songwriter, Mike." She took Davy's hand and smiled at him. "All four of you are, actually."

She stood up, and he joined her. The two locked eyes and had a moment together before looking back at Mike.

"Well, uh...it was really nice to meet you, Mike. I hope we can have a more proper introduction soon. Good night." Molly said with a slight nod before making her way through the door. Davy watched her, mesmerized. He grinned, blushing.

"She's just wonderful, innit she?"
