"Do you want fame..." A feminine, posh voice said as the camera turned on near the shining light in the sky "...and you do want fortune on top of that?"

The camera pans down onto a beautiful island. It has a large, luscious forest with wildlife ranging from zigzagoons to pidoves and other critters. On the docks housed laprases, who were chatting about their day, to boats ready to set sail. The most eye-catching however is the fancy hotel that could easily hold many pokemon of any size and/or shape.

"Well I've got news for you friends and foes..." the camera turns to the beach side. There, a purple but elegant pokemon sitting down on a chair as she looks out at the ocean. One might mistake the being as a fancy cloak that has gems on the chest with a witches hat on top. One of the cloak's appendages tip their hat upwards, showing the camera both the mischievousness and charisma her eyes possessed. With an award winning smile, they waved at the camera, "...because I'm starting this new reality show to help you gain just that."

She gets up, making her body float on the sandy surface.

"Hello everyone, my name is Mismagius, used to be psychiatrist and practically a trillionaire from dubious sources, and I'll be your lovely host for all to enjoy. Like I said before, if you want fame and earn a bit of cash all for yourself, then you have turned to the right channel. For example..."

With a raise of her appendage, the sand beside her shakes until a diamond suitcase appears. Shaking some of the sand, she opened it to reveal millions of poke for the world to marvel at.

"Three million-" A gust of wind came, snatching a few poke's in its wake. Staring awkwardly for a moment, she cleared her throat, "Two-million something poke bucks, to which I'm pretty sure it won't even last around two days... or you getting mugged, and bragging rights of the century just for you for the taking. The only thing standing between you and such wonderfully, arduous things are grueling challenges, dealing with Mother Shaymen herself, and seventeen other pokemon wanting the same thing you so desperately crave. Call now and join us in this magical stage of what we call a competition!"

She closed the case before throwing it off-camera, though there was a small groan of pain following it. Ignoring the injured intern, she floats with the camera behind her.

"There will be action, there will be sweet succulent drama, and there will be tricks and treats that will soon fall upon you like it's nothing." She chuckles a bit as they continue on their voyage. "Now then, my soon-to-be competitors, will you fight for what you believe in and be greedy schmucks, or will you perish like a dog you are? Some offense to you dogs out there, let me point that out there."

Stopping at the entrance of the docks, she let camera do a once-over of the island that will soon be filled with able-bodied pokemon ready to win.

"Welcome viewers to Total Illusion Island. I hope you'll be entertained," She spins herself before dramatically pointing at the camera and giving it a smile. Though for some odd reason, the smile looks a tad bit... chilling, some would say, "And welcome, my competitors, to the island called 'Goli Otok'. I hope you enjoy your stay here..."

With a creepy chuckle, the camera shuts off.

"Cause I know I will…"

Hope ya'll like the introduction and all that even though it's a bit small for my liking, been wanting to write this sort of stuff for a good while but never got to it in the end. Nonetheless I'd hope I've got your attention. Thanks to the resurgence of other TPI's (one of them being by TPReboot.) I thought I could try my hand on it. I may not be perfect, heck I'd say I'm shabby as best, but I do what I can to be a decent enough writer for ya. Really the only things I fear I do in this is not being creative enough and simply being a copy of sorts. But like I said, will try my best.

*For the moment I'm only accepting one OC per user, though it's highly recommended to send multiple OCs for a bigger range of characters to choose from. This may change if I don't have enough people.
