It's important to know that this story and Sk take place in a world where season 3 with episode Felix didn't happen. Marinette and her friends don't know Felix. She's also not the guardian. With that being said, thank you for reading :)

Marinette Dupain Cheng Agreste. No matter how many times she wrote it down or looked at her engagement ring, she still couldn't believe it. It almost felt like she was a character in a fairy tail and Adrien was her prince charming.

It was funny because when she was little, her father always told stories about princesses and castles. He always made them feel so real that although It might seem silly, a small part of her dreamed that when she finally found her prince, it would be like those stories with the happy ever after at the end.

Now here she was, in her own fairy tale, living with her prince Adrien and in the Agreste mansion which could be compared to a castle. Part of her couldn't believe how lucky she was. In just a month, she got engaged to the prince of her dreams and quickly moved to the infamous Agreste mansion. There she had a new closet that was the size of her old bedroom. She had access to more fabric she could dream of using . She was even being mentored by Gabriel Agreste himself. She was on her way to marry the kitty of her dreams and was expecting a kitten with him.

Not all was exactly like the fairy tale life she hoped. Being an Agreste came with lots of more rules and duties than she expected. No matter how she tried, part of her couldn't get used to having her own bodyguard or the daily schedule she had to follow. Nevertheless, as long as she had Adrien by her side, everything was perfect.

Adrien knocked, dragging her back to the present

"Come in" she pleaded, knowing it was almost certainty her kitty.

He always had the good habit of showing up exactly when her heart needed him. Carrying a smile on his lips and a bouquet of roses in his hand, her knight in shining armor came in to lighten her day.

"Good morning, look what I have for you ,my princess"Adrien's voice was like an echo of bliss. She was so captivated by him, she didn't notice he had left the door open

As she smelled the roses, she admitted" I love the smell of flowers in the morning "

" Of course you do...ladybug," he joked.

"Real funny, silly cat. I actually have a little surprise for you."

"You baked ? " He took a wild guess. Hoping he was right .

She laughed at his silly expression. She would never tell him, but he made the same expression Plagg did when someone fed him Camembert. Smiling, Marinette began to list all the things she made: "I made croissants, galettes and your favorite ..."

"Passion fruit macarons ?" Adrien asked with anticipation, His smile somehow got even wider when she nodded.

Looking at his silly completely lovestruck expression she couldn't herself and ruffled his soft hair. She loved that he almost purred to her touch With a smile almost as wide as Adrien's she admitted," I'm glad you liked my surprise. I wanted to make something for you, so I decided to make some of my families most special recipes."

"They really are special .your family makes the best pastries in the world, " He smiled as he remembered tasting and making them with Tom. With curiosity, he admitted" I still want to know your family's secret to make such sweet galettes "

She smiled, putting her arms around his neck as she teased, "You know that recipe is a family secret, right ? You have to marry me first,"

With a grin, Adrien didn't miss his chance. He closed the distance with a kiss and agreed, "Deal. Can we go right now? "

She bopped his silly nose and explained, "Nice try, I thought we agreed we were waiting until kitten could be present "

Putting his hands on her stomach, he tried "kitten technically would still be there. Front row sit and everything "

She laughed," Adrien , you know our wedding needs to be perfect and not rushed."

"How rush can it be ? You have been planning it since we were 13. I proposed to you twice," he argued in his defense

He knew she didn't mean it. He used that trick on Plagg all the time. Still, he decided to play along, "I'm sorry. You know I love you and want to show it to everyone. But if you want to wait I don't care because as long as I get to be your silly cat fur ever it doesn't matter if we get married in 5 seconds or 5 decades. I love you , bugaboo"

She kissed him back and explained herself, "Of course you'll always be my silly kitty. I love you too, that's why I want our wedding to be perfect. I want it to be the story we tell our kitten "

"I know" he kissed her forehead and continued" I promise you'll have the wedding you ever wanted"

He really was the perfect fiancé. To compensate for everything, she kissed him with so much love that they didn't notice Natalie entering the room

"Can I get your attention ?" she asked, and Marinette and Adrien collectively sighed as she explained '" Emilie and Felix will arrive in 20 min and 42 seconds. You both need to be ready to welcome them in the hall. "

" They are coming today ? I thought they were coming next week. " Natalie heard the bluenette whisper to Adrien.

Like a moth avoids the light for protection, Gabriel normally avoided thinking about Emilie's side of the family. They had never approved their relation, especially Amelie.

Suddenly a knock at the door got his attention

"Sir, are you ready ? Your guests just arrived" Natalie asked and that brought Gabriel back to the present. It was finally time to greet the guests. Trying to do his best to smile, he left his office and did his best to sound welcoming," I'm so glad you both decided to visit so unexpectedly. What brings you both here ?"

Amelie smiled widely as she explained, "Felix missed his cousin and I thought why not pay a visit ? A little spontaneity is good, you know? " She shot Gabriel a look that he choose to ignore.

Unable to held back, Gabriel pondered out loud, "I was thinking Felix had been expelled ...again" As he stated the obvious he made sure to look at Felix and not adrien , despite them wearing a similar black suit.

In hopes of deescalating the situation, Natalie intervened, "In either case, we are all glad you decided to come."

How Natalie made it sound, so sincere, Gabriel didn't know. He really was lucky to have her.

Always with the same smile, Amelie continued: "Thank you, Natalie. I can see why Gabriel picked you. " Noticing the new face in the house, Adrien's aunt asked," who's this rain of sunshine ?"

With a proud smile, he introduced, "This is my fiancé, Marinette."

For a few seconds, Adrien's ant just looked at Marinette. It was clear she was judging her and also trying to pretend not to look at the baby bump.

Just as the bluenette and the blond feared the worst. Amelie pulled her into a hug, "Any family of Adrien is mine too, so let me say you and the baby are welcome to the family.

"Thank you" the bluenette replied, surprised and relieved. Amelie seemed nice

Clearly amused by the news, Adrien's ant asked," Any idea on names ?"

With a fatherly smile Adrien answered, "Emma if it's a girl and Louis it's a boy "

Marinette took his hand and continued to explain." We thought Emma would be a way to honor Emily. Although our child won't be able to meet Adrien's mom, we thought it might be a way for her to be part of the baby's life"

Adrien looked at his father in hopes of seeing his reaction. They hadn't told them about the name choices. To be fair, he hand't asked either. Still, now that the question had been raised, the blond hoped his father would approve. Sadly, Gabriel's reaction was to excuse himself and apologize before returning to his office . Adrien didn't know if his father hated the name or not. Hopefully he would approve or grow to like it. Lucky Amelie wasn't shy on giving her opinion

"Wonderful name. I know my sister would feel honored. She would like you, Marinette "

Felix had lots of experience with girls. Some girlfriends, other fans. However, despite how many girls he had met and dated, none had ever looked at him with so much love.

He pondered how did his cousin got a girl two love him so much. Was his cousin cleverer than he thought ? While he tried to figure it out, the love in her eyes quickly became replaced by anger as she accused, "You're not Adrien "

Felix stood even more perplexed. Before he could even deny, she pushed herself from his arms and affirmed convinced, "You're his cousin. What are you doing in this room ? "

"I needed a shirt "he admitted

Casually, he turned his back to her and continued to scavenge around Adrien's drawers. Clearly impressed, he explained"You're smart. No one was able to tell us apart so quickly "

For Adrien and for her to be able to live with Gabriel , she ignored that feeling.

"What do you really think happened to Adrien's mom and my dad ?" He asked

"Are you saying he was involved in Emilie's disappearance ?" Marinette asked. Part of her worried how Adrien would react if Gabriel had been the reason he lost his mom.

With green and sincere eyes that reminded her of Adrien, Felix took her hand and offered, "That's what I'm here to find out . We can help each other . the question is do you trust me ?"

Marinette stared at his green eyes . Why did he have to look so much like adrien ? Her brain told her that she should investigate but her heart didn't want to hurt adrien by unmasking his father secrets .

She had her doubts on Gabriel, but could they be true ? Did Felix know something she didn't ? Was he playing her, or was Gabriel that was playing her ? Before Marinette could respond . Adrien walked in

When the blond saw his lady and his cousin together, something didn't seem right"Everything okay, here?"

Felix looked at his cousin and the ring on his finger. Sadly, he knew his best chance at that moment was to leave and try to get the miraculous later.

With a quick smile, Felix said his goodbyes, "Nice meeting you, Marinette. See you later, and thank you for the shirt, cousin."

With a successful grin, Felix left and immediately picked up his phone. Proudly, he dialed and admitted to the other person on the line, "You're right about everything. On the other side of the mansion, Natalie entered Gabriel office and announced"Sir, your five o'clock meeting was rescheduled for tomorrow "
