So with the new episodes of the Owl House being released (finally,) I will say that I do not plan on having any thing from canon in here outside of the coven head names, because I am bad at names. Now, on with the story.
As Emperor Belos received the key from Hunter, he asked him something. "Hunter, didn't I explicitly tell you not to go out today?"
"Yes, Uncle, but I thought—" Hunter was interrupted.
"Then why did you? I gave you instructions, and yet you disobey them as if the rules don't apply to you."
"Sorry, Uncle. I'll go now."
With that, Belos took to his room and Hunter to his. Belos quickly locked the door behind him to make sure he wouldn't be seen.
With what little Titan's blood was in the key, he used it to make a temporary bridge to Earth just to see it again. What he didn't know, though, is that he was bound to meet some unique personalities on the other side.
Stupid uncle, Hunter thought to himself. Why doesn't he trust me? I'm his nephew, his only living relative, and he can't trust me with simple stuff like that?!
In a spur-of-the-moment decision, he started to pack so he could set off to The Owl House with his palisman, Lil Rascal, to see Luz and co.
A week later:
"How am I supposed to get back now?" Luz asked, tears in her eyes.
Eda knew she had to tread carefully, so as to not make a bad situation worse. She simply said, "I honestly don't know, kid, but I'm sure we'll find a way."
"Yeah, Luz, we'll make sure to find you a way home," Amity, Luz's girlfriend added.
"What's that? It's coming from the trees." King asked. They all looked, only to become defensive at the sight of Hunter.
"Whatever you're doing here, Hunter, make it quick. I don't wanna talk right now," Luz said.
Hunter quickly responded, "I mean no harm. I'm starting to suspect that my uncle has stuff that he's hiding from me."
"And why should we believe that, after what happened last time, we saw each other? Coming here may have been the dumbest mistake of your life!" Amity said, hatred in her eyes.
"Look," Hunter began, "I'm sorry about that, I really am. But Belos has started spending more time to himself since he got the key, I haven't even seen him in a week. I don't know where he is, but last I saw, he was in his room, and I heard a loud noise. I tried knocking but he didn't answer. That's very strange for him. He would never just disappear for no reason and without telling anyone. Not even Kikimora knows where he went."
"Okay, twerp," Eda said, "let's say we believe you. What do you plan on doing to—"
Out of nowhere, Belos appeared in a seething rage. "HUNTER! WHY ARE YOU HERE WITH THESE CRIMINALS?!"
"Look, uncle, I—" Before Hunter could finish what he was going to say, Belos ensnared him.
"Hands off!" Luz said. She was shortly after ensnared as well, unable to move or say anything.
"LUZ!" Eda, Amity and King yelled in unison before being pushed back by a powerful shockwave that shook the Bones of the Isles themselves and cause them to creak loudly. With that, the emperor disappeared.
"Luz? Luz! No!" Amity screamed, awakening a strange burst of dark energy within her. She started shooting her signature purple fire everywhere before regaining control and truly being able to comprehend what just happened to her.
"Woah, kid, what was that?" Eda asked out of extreme concern.
"I…don't know. It's like I was engulfed in rage and…and fear."
"Look, I know what it's like to lose someone like this. Matter of fact, it happened just about a month ago. All I know is that you can NOT let that happen again, you hear me? Dark magic is not something to be messed with."
With that, they went inside and tried to calm themselves.
As Luz awoke, she found herself in an all too familiar place: The Emperor's throne room.
"What happened…" she wondered before it all came flooding back.
She saw Belos sitting on his throne, and tried to attack, but was quickly frozen in place.
"Luz, the Human, so called 'Warrior of Peace,' do you know why you are still alive?"
Luz curtly replied, "No, but whatever your planning, it won't work!"
"Oh, but that's where you're wrong. Look what I have…" he showed Luz the vial of Titan's blood.
Luz gasped, "How did you—"
"I have my ways. Now as for why you are still alive, the Titan has informed me that you would prove to be much more useful to me alive than dead. He gave me a special spell that I want to use on such a person."
Before Luz could object, Belos drew a golden-white spell circle that he wasn't sure would work on the human, but it did.
With the spell successfully cast, Luz underwent a form of metamorphosis. Her skin, as opposed to the normal light hazel color, was a pale white. Her hair was black as night and went down to the middle of her thighs. She no longer had her normal round ears; instead, they were more that of a witch.
"Rise, Luzura, Warrior of Darkness, and tell me, how do you feel?"
"I feel…powerful. More than ever before!"
Belos instructed, "Try casting a fire spell."
With that, Luzura drew one and, behold! A large burst of fire came out. It was quickly contained to the corner of the throne room and extinguished.
"Good, and one more thing. I need you to go undercover and spy on the denizens of the Owl House for me. I have given you knowledge of a spell that can make you change from how you look now to how you looked pre-transformation. And if they ask, tell them that you stalled me by taking this vial." He created a fake copy of the Titan blood vial and handed it to the Warrior of Darkness. "Before you go, could you try out that disguise spell? I just want to make sure it works."
Luzura used the spell and with great success.
"Good. You will need to reapply it 48 hours, or your cover will be blown. Now go!"
And with that, she was off, ready to deceive her former allies.
