Wincing through his own tousled black hair falling over his eyes, Harry saw daylight just beginning to break over Ginny's bare shoulder. The very idea of her in his bed used to excite and energize him. Now, it filled him with failure and regret.
They were broken up. Hell, they were broken, themselves.

Harry slipped out from the sheets and struggled to slink out of his cluttered bedroom. He took the first shirt he saw lying at the top of his hamper before going to the kitchen. He found her pink bridesmaids dress in the hall and hung it over the back of a chair.
Tea will help. He summoned the kettle, water, and mugs as he tried to remember if Ginny preferred one sugar or two.

As the kettle whistled, Harry heard the rustle of fabric. Ginny's dress slid from the chair and back to the bedroom.
He heard the soft pop of apparition from behind the bedroom door. Harry used to love Ginny's quick thinking.
Harry nursed his tea and let the second mug grow cold.
