Howard woken up to the sound of his alarm clock, he grunted and pulled the covers over himself. He kept the alarm going, but he wished its bells would just get ninja kick silence, why did he agreed to go back to school?

"Howard!" He heard Heidi's voice popped up sounding cheesed. "You're not skipping school again. You promise that you'll move on from what happen two weeks ago."

He sighed.

"Fine, I 'll go."

The things he'll do for chicken from the Bucket.

"You better."

As the red-haired boy soon gotten up, he heard he his sister walk off. There's nothing else he could do to evade it. The brown eyed boy gotten ready for school.

After that and getting breakfast, he went on the school bus. There, he sat in a different seat then what he usually would take. It was empty. Not a lot of kids there, too busy fanning over some girl's new dress, which was a good thing. He wouldn't have to be reminded of that wonkin day.

"Are you okay Howard?" he heard a familiar voice sprang up.

Looking up and in front of him he saw Debbie Kang staring at him with a concern face. Figures Debbie would be the one to ask him first. She's been getting dirt on everyone ever since he snuck out of kindergarten to see the ninja of '05.

"I 'm fine. Just thinking of something else. "

"Want to talk about?"

"No." He glared while looking away.

"Okay."

With that, the girl turned away though still keeping her concern look. This was going to a honkin long and not bruce day, he could tell.

As excepted the classes was long, he didn't listen to what his teachers nor wanted. Even is if he was the smartest kid in class and loved schoolwork like those math nerds he wouldn't want to listen because every time he would, is every time he would let instincts take control and forget about the worst day of his life.

When lunch came around, he sat at a lone table and sighed, not even eating his gravy fries. Just then, a something bonce on to the table and his fries.

"Hey?" He uttered glaring before taking a look to his side and saw the culprit.

It was Bash. Howard saw the older guy jumped in the air before saying "two points."

As Bash and his gang started to laugh, he got up and went away.

He hid in a locker no one else uses and waited for lunch to over.

Just then, he heard foots steps and it they louder with each second. He gave a tired sigh. Wanting for the person to keep going, he went silent.

But all of the sudden the noise stopped. Whoever the person was, they seem to know he was in there.

"A ninja who runs from battle only, running from himself." A familiar voice popped.

A voice that he knew all too well and one he did not need.

"I 'm not in the mood." He said in annoyed tone before two questions sprang up in head. "Say, what are doing out walking around in the hallways? People are going to find out that you're with the ninja?"

"No, they will not."

He raised an eyebrow.

"Hey bruce ninja cosplay." He heard some else, someone sounding farther speak up.

"Okay, Okay, fine. What is it that you want?"

"It's not what I want, it's something I need form you."

Need?

"I need you fill in Randy's role and take on the title of ninja of Norrisville."

"Oh no. I 'm no ninja."

"You're the only one that knows the ninja's duties long enough to make it to the rest of what was Randy's turned."

"I can't fight. I tried it lots of time and gotten the shoob kicked out of me."

"You did try your best."

"Agh, why couldn't you do since you have a human form? Protect Norrrisvile as the ninja."

"It takes a great deal of focus to keep up this form you shoob I can't keep this up every day."

"What about Debbie or Thersea? They're more skilled than me?"

"True, they are good, but the ninja has always been male. To keep up the illusion that it's the same ninja it must be male?"

"Oh, couldn't deal with girls?"

"No. It's because very obvious thing about their chests."

"Wha-Oh. Yep, that would be the biggest give away. But I 'm still not doing it!"

He heard a tired sound sigh.

"Howard, I know you missed Randy as much as me."

"You weren't with him for as long as I have."

"True I wasn't. However, I know that this is what he would have wanted."

"How?'

"Let me Shloomp you in and you can, see?"

"I don't know lunch might end soon?"

"Not until another twenty minutes."

"Wonk."

"And you're still not keeping focus on your classes."

"Fine. Let me in?"

Just then, the door opened, and he was blinded by the sudden light from the out shinning down before he felt hand gripping before the hand dissipated and was replace him gripping the spine of book.

When he opened his eyes, he found that he was holding the Nomicon and that he reverted back to book mode. With no other options left to choose. he sighed as he opened the book.

Soon the image of letters some of which he doesn't know of, zipped past him as he found himself floating to a huge scroll. It opened and played images inside the page much like a movie. Howard stayed and watched.

A scream was heard before something fall down o a dojo looking scene. when the dust settles, the image of randy was shown. he gotten, but it was as clear glass that he struggled. Nomicon's human form soon appeared and caught the Purple haired teen before he fell. Howard gave smile when that scene played out, grateful for the book helping his once best friend out at least. Though it shifted back to a just staring one, when he saw his fallen friend's face.

Randy had a very pale complexation with redden eyes and breathing really hard. This must have been moments before Randy...?

"Randy?" Called out the book placing one of the blue-eyed teen's arms around his neck and lifted them up.

"I 'm fine, Nomicon just let me learn the Ultimate Lesson?"

"But that would make forget everyone in you final moments?"

"I know, but you might get my knowledge, for the next ninja before I...?"

At that moment Randy had his head down, but Howard knew that his soon to be deceased friend was on the verge of crying. It made him surprised, though he didn't know why. His friend was having his final moments, about to mind wipe himself for whoever would have been the next ninja.

"I see. Very well then." The green-eyed kid said with a calm straight expression.

"Thanks, Nomicon. I know I could count you."

"Okay, but what does this have to do with Cunningham wanting me to be the ninja?" The red hair teen asked the book.

Just then, Howard noticed neon looking letters started appearing right beside the scroll. He looked and it read "Keep watching?"

Howard did as the book wanted for second time since the two know first met each other.

Both Randy and Nomicon where at a new scene a one with hallways and doors. The red hair guy gotten Randy the door that had the words "Ultimatte Lesson' in blue ink.

"Nomicon?"

The red head teen stopped.

"I know you and Howard don't get along, but I want you to train Howard after I go. You see he's going need someone by his side and we both know I'm the only friend he's got.

"I would have to go Howard to regardless sine he already knows."

"Oh." Randy before hanging his head.

"Though I would have went to him, for you Randy if I had the choice."

"Thanks."

Nomicon soon picked up what they were doing. The green-eyed guy helped Randy to the handles.

As the blue-eyed kid held on to the handles Nomicon took a few steps to the side.

"Well, I guess this is it?" Randy said with a now sadden expression as he hung his head. He then looked over to Nomicon and put on a smiling face. "Thanks again Nomicool for everything. Sorry I wasn't great at following your teachings."

It was at this moment that Nomicon's human form disappeared right before Randy started opening the door.

A light shined in his face before the scroll stopped there and disappeared."

"So Cunnigham wanted you to go me, to comfort me?"

"Yes."

"Wow, guess I should have believed you." Howard said in a more depressed tone, feeling guilty about what he said.

Howard soon noticed the book forming more words.

"I know we don't get along, but if you allow me to teach you for the rest of Randy's turn, I can mind wipe you, so you wouldn't be tormented by your memories. So do we have a deal?"

"Deal."
