This is my first time writing a fanfic which I have posted for the world to read so yeah please bare with me
So in this fanfic in which Harry realises that Voldemort wants the Elder Wand so goes to Dumbledore's grave and takes it before Voldemort himself gets to it
i already have the final Pairings planned but they won't be revealed just yet and a hint for you is that they are NOT canon so sorry to those who had hoped for Harry/Ginny and Ron/Hermione, so yeah if non-canon compliant isn't your cup of tea then you're welcome to click off
It starts at a point where Ron never left Harry and Hermione and they already got the cup from Gringotts and the Locket has been destroyed already
Chapter 1 Decoy Deathstick
Harry had just had a vision of Gregorovitch being tortured and then killed by Voldemort he then realised that in the vision Voldemort had asked Gregorovitch about a wand which he had answered he never knew about where it was or what happened to it he realised that he spoke of non other than the legendary Elder Wand which had belonged to Dumbledore until his death he immediately told Hermione and Ron about his suspicions and they suggested a plan to go to Hogwarts and then to go to Dumbledore's tomb and remove the Elder Wand from the tomb but then Ron then suggested replacing the Real wand with a fake variant they dubbed the scheme "Operation Decoy Deathstick" but they needed to find a route into Hogwarts which would be far from easy with Death Eaters in charge so they launched a plan to sneak into Hogsmeade and then access Hogwarts from thereon they had the invisibility cloak as a key part of their plot but they had to engineer a backup plan in case of the worst case scenario
Chapter 2 Reaching Hogwarts
So they had made into Hogsmeade successfully now they had to sneak onto the Hogwarts grounds without detection, Harry sent a patronus to McGonagall and they met up in Hogs Head Inn that belonged to Albus Dumbledore's brother Aberforth
I presume you have a reason for your out of the blue return Potter what is it you need said McGonagall
We need to go to Professor Dumbledore's grave Professor, his wand was the legendary Elder Wand and I know that VOL— then Harry realised as he was about trigger the taboo quickly covered his mouth before continuing You Know Who is after it as I have gotten a vision of him interrogating Gregorovitch and then he later killed him ruthlessly as Harry finished
Potter, if what you're saying is true and I'm going to go out on a limb and presume that it is, then we need to go their at once before You Know Who can get to it immediately but without alerting the Carrows and Snape of your presence
One hour later at Hogwarts Cemetery
Hogwarts Cemetery is where the students and professors and others that died on Hogwarts ground are buried if no family members claim the body to be buried elsewhere said Hermione
Very good Miss Granger but we must be swift said McGonagall we don't know where You-Know-Who is he might of found out that the wand is in the grave of Dumbledore and could be on his way here as we speak
At Dumbledore's grave
Well here goes nothing said Harry as the grave was opened up to reveal Dumbledore's corpse which had slowly begun the process of decomposure Harry gently picked the wand from next to Dumbledore's body
Well this is it the Deathstick now all that's left to do is replace it with a fake decoy
Exactly what are we going to get a decoy from said Ron
Honestly Ron isn't it obvious we'll need a random stick then we can transfigure into a replica we need to go find one let's go
20 minutes later
At last we found a stick now it is time we transfigure it into a 1:1 scale replica of the Elder Wand and we have added a few jinxes one of which will depletes Tom Riddle's magical core and also slowly deplete the core of any one with a Dark Mark whilst the core depleting curse won't be enough stop Riddle it's a good place to begin in wiping him out for good now let's get out of here before they find out about our presence as they all disapparated one
The suddenly when they were back at Hogs Head Harry began to act strangely the they realised he was getting another vision after the vision Harry said there's another in Hogwarts at the room of requirement
Then we need to go to Hogwarts soon as possible and find the Horcrux and destroy it we have the sword so let's go and find it but first we need a way into Hogwarts
Then out of nowhere Neville appeared and saw the trio and then he began asking questions to confirm if they are the trio which they answered correctly so we need to get in to Hogwarts specifically the Room of Requirement but the formation in which things can be hidden
Time skip to where Voldemort comes to Dumbledore's grave to steal the Elder Wand unknown to him the wand is a fake
AN: I'm pretty sure that Voldemort got the Elder Wand before the vision of the diadem in the room of requirement but this is already an Alternate universe fanfiction
Yes yes the deathstick is finally mine now i will end all those who dare oppose me including that Potter brat, Voldemort said as he cackled evilly
now my plan begins now with the elder wand i can get potter out of the way and world domination will be within grasp he continued to cackle, mudbloods will be under control of pure-bloods and maybe I'll just do the same to half-bloods with the odd exception for your Severus Snape of course actually never mind the half bloods will be fine as long as they willingly join me when its clear that me and my death eaters have won but even then he contemplated his thoughts to nobody in particular.
