Idk. Just be careful reading it MAY make you uncomfy

"You what?" Sam was a little taken aback. George had refused to visit dream in the time that he's been in prison, why was it changing now?

"Dream. I need to see him." There was something in George's eyes. Something pleading something urgent. George looked like he could break down, maybe that was what pushed Sam to let him in despite it being the middle of the night.

"Of course, George. Follow me," Sam gripped George's shoulder comfortingly, using it to guide him through the halls all the way to Dream's cell.

"Dream, you have a visitor."

Dream was staring at the ground. His knees pulled to his chest and his arms resting on them lazily. "Who?" His voice was hoarse and it hurt George to listen to it.

The once happy-go-lucky man he knew was gone.

"A friend." Sam said, "I'll leave you two alone."

"Dream..." George whispered. Dream whipped his head up to look at the man who was standing before him.

"George-" Dream didn't hesitate to stand up. Immediately pulling the man in for a hug. George hesitantly hugged him back but soon hid his face in the crook of Dream's neck.

"Why are you here? You- You refused to come here before..." Dream pulled back and cupped George's cheek. "What changed?"

George instinctively pulled back at the gesture. Only reminded of the way XD had brushed his face earlier that evening.

Dream's eyes looked hurt but he didn't pressure him anymore. "It's XD," George said averting Dream's gaze.

"George you didn't." Dream furrowed his brow.

"I didn't realize it at first. I- I became his friend and now... I see it. He's evil and angry and-"

"He's a God, George." Dream pinched the bridge of his nose, beginning to pace the small cell. "What were you thinking?"

"I was thinking about you Dream! I think somewhere along the way I tried to use him as a replacement. I missed you and I turned to him as a friend."

Dream watched him intently, "Only a friend?" Dream asked.

"Yes. But I think he thinks of it as more. He... He calls me his..."

"George..."

"I think he knows deep down that I'm not. But I think he needs the control..."

"He never had control before." Dream met George's eyes. "But with you he does."

"Dream, I'm curious. How did this all start?"

"With XD?"

"Mhm."

"Well, you know the just. I was a God once too. I was powerful and divine but I was created therefore I had my faults and imperfections. I became intrigued with the mortals and even fell in love with one." Dream caught George's eyes and smiled, George couldn't hold back his blush.

"I don't know who my creator is, but I know that they were angry. They stripped me of my divinity and I became mortal. I was human. So in need of a new God, my creator invented XD. A new being without the capability of love, infatuation. That had been my creator's mistake, in the beginning, they made me with feelings. They corrected their mistakes with XD. A perfect God. He was always compared to me, forced to live up to the expectations I had made. He wants to be better than me, have what I have. He wants you and he wants to rub it in my face."

"But we were made in the same image. XD is like me. But no matter how much he can't love he's desperate to. He wants to love, he wants to love you." Dream sighed. "Just like I do."

"Dream-"

"But XD won't back down. He won't give up on you." Dream took a step closer and hooked a finger beneath George's chin. His thumb brushing his bottom lip. "And George I'm not a God anymore and I don't know how I'm supposed to protect you." Dream's eyes were glossy as he looked at the brunette.

"I'm afraid you can't, Dream." XD was standing in the doorway, angrily listening to the pair. XD yanked on George's wrist and pulled him back to him. Swiftly he brought a knife to George's neck.

"George, come on I gave you one rule. I asked you not to think about him anymore and this is what you do?" XD whispered into the shorter man's ear. "After all, I've done for you?"

"Don't hurt him, XD." Dream yelled.

"Right, and what will you do? A mere human against a God?"

"You're angry, you hate being compared to me but XD that's all George does to you. You can't love him you never will. All you will ever have is a comparison to me, you will never be good enough in anyone's eyes. I will always be better, I will always be favored."

"Shut up." A force slammed Dream against the wall. "You're a mortal. You're filth."

"And yet George loves me and not you..." Dream wiped the blood from his mouth and stood up.

"Are you trying to piss me off?" XD said.

"Maybe."

"Shame it won't work. Because George is mine. He will NEVER be yours again." XD hovered over George's ear. "You're mine. And you love me."

George nodded profusely.

"Say it!"

"I'm yours and I love you." XD smiled and kissed George's jaw tenderly. George shuddered, writhing uncomfortably beneath XD's touch.

"Don't you dare, touch him!"

"And what will you do, Dream?" XD kissed down the brunette's neck and pecking his shoulders in content. A knife was still pressed to the boy's throat.

"S-stop." XD narrowed his eyes at the whiny voice from George.

XD continued, this time he pressed his lips on George's. George kept his mouth shut in protest. XD kept urging on, eventually, he forced his tongue in the brown-haired boy's mouth.

"Damn it! Don't touch him!"

And before George could see or feel anything else, everything went black.

The world around George was a blur. But as his vision cleared he found a familiar blond next to him.

"Good morning, George..." The voice whispered. George was confused but sat up and rubbed the sleep from his eyes.

"Dream?" The blond smiled.

"Yep. Right here." Dream took George's hands and intertwined their fingers.

"You... XD, is he gone?"

"He's gone, George." George studies the clothes Dream was wearing. Bloodstains were scattered across his green hoodie.

"And how... You're supposed to be in prison Dream."

"I ran. Me and you can be together and never deal with any of this again."

Dream's knees were brought to his chest as they sat on the cliff. The two watched as the sun began to rise, giving a honey glow to the earth around them. Off in the distance, they could see the tattered L'manberg flag barely standing. The remains of the charred fabric blowing in the gentle morning wind.

"Dream... Is that really a wise decision?"

"Probably not," Dream stood up and outstretched his hand. George took it. "But what do I care? You're here, I'm here, we're together."

Dream placed his hand on the small of George's back and George placed his arms loosely around Dream's neck. The two standing in the position of a slow dance.

"What did you have to do?" George asked quietly.

"You don't want to know. All that matters is that you're with me." Dream said softly. He tightened his grip on George.

"Dream, ease up. That hurts."

Dream tightened his grip even more and leaned into George's ear. "That pest will never get in the way of us again."

George's eyes blew wide with fear.

"You're mine, George. Only mine."
