Summary/disclaimer: Time for another chapter of Magical Mysteries. Enjoy the 900-word chapter. I don't own Ben Ten, Cartoon Network and a few others do.

Charmcaster leaned back on the chair and looked out the window. It was easy to create some cash out of rocks. Conjure sat in an old rocking chair.

"Should I point out we have no way to really try and get back home?" Conjure asked while holding up his hands. Magic danced between his fingertips.

"Yeah? Well, I don't see you having many good ideas." Charmcaster said as she tossed one of her Stone Creature figures to the ground.

It glowed purple and then slowly stood up while looking around. Charmcaster watched as the creature started to roam around the room.

"Interesting type of soldier." Conjure said and raised his eyebrows at this. "I'm going to point out Adwaita knows you're here. The longer you're on Earth? The more time Addwaitya has to convince people their princess abandoned them." Conjure added to Charmcaster. The princess nodded and hummed.

"Then we should find a way to get back to Ledgerdomain as fast as possible." Charmcaster said and raised her eyebrow in response.

"I know, and yet neither of us have the magic to break the seal to Ledgerdomain." Conjure said before starting to rub at his temples and let out a sigh of annoyance.

"No, but I'm sure there's someone on this planet that can." Charmcaster said as she pushed herself to her feet. "We just need to make sure that shell head doesn't find us before then." Charmcaster stated which caused Conjure to sigh.

"Shell head is currently the one destroying our home." Conjure responded before trying to stand up. The chair almost collapsed before Conjure ran his hand over it.

Charmcaster watched as blue magic spread over the object in question. It slowly put itself back together.

"Rest Ituo Nowitus Wespinaetro Intus Vigoratus Perwita." Conjure stated and dusted off his hands. He looked at Charmcaster.

"I should point out the fact that magic isn't exactly something that either of us has mastered." Conjure said before taking a breath.

While he was glad, he could apply spells without just incantations as all magic could be done? It still took a lot out of him to use magic. His body didn't exactly have the reserves to keep up a fight for long.

"First step is to find somewhere to go for magic practice." Charmcaster said and tossed another of her figures to the ground. Conjure and Charmcaster watched a stone creature emerge from this.

"Do they just do that when you throw them to the ground?" Conjure asked and Charmcaster nodded. "Uh, are you sure we should be using them this quickly?" Conjure questioned as Charmcaster frowned and looked to the side.

"I can easily make more out of the stuff here." Charmcaster stated which made Conjure hum and look to the side.

He cracked his neck and looked to the side. Conjure knew for a fact that Charmcaster was in command. She was the princess. He was just another one of the royal guards for the moment.

"Let's go and find that then." Conjure said as he let out a sigh. He looked around the room and walked to the window.

"Do you think any of those ghost monsters came to Earth?" Charmcaster asked before Conjure shook his head.

"He's probably sent some sort of kill squad to Earth." Conjure said and looked at his hands. "I doubt he considers you much more then meat to destroy the rebellion. Your followers are probably the only thing he fears right now." Conjure said and cleared his throat.

Conjure was well aware of how dangerous someone like Addwaitya was. Hex had talked about the warlord like a god. Hex never really seemed to lie about him. It gave enough of a reason for Conjure to take it seriously.

Conjure looked at Charmcaster as she glared at her rock creatures. She was probably thinking of how best to strike and kill the warlord that had taken over her home.

Still? There was very little that Conjure could do when it came to stopping it. He guessed Charmcaster had more training then him. Charmcaster could destroy him in a fight.

"You think anyone back home is safe?" Conjure asked, already knowing just how dangerous things were.

Charmcaster said nothing and simply looked away. Her face read all the emotion Conjure needed to see.

"Hmm." Charmcaster said as she pulled her knees up to her chest. It was entirely obvious just how much being away hurt.

Conjure hummed and shook his head. His own parents would have been some of the first to lose. They would have never abandoned the royal family. It made part of him mad.

"We're go look for a magic shop or something tonight." Charmcaster said, obviously wanting to avoid the question.

Conjure said nothing. There was really nothing he could say other than ok.

Conjure hoped Ledgerdomain was ok. It had to be when they got home.

Author notes

Phew. Another chapter done! I want to point out I'm not going to have EVERY use of magic use a 30-word spell or such. next chapter will end up being in 5-7 weeks and will show Conjure and Charmcaster visiting a library and bonding along with more of Addwaitya's plans. Until then, Lighting Wolf out!

P.S: Lucy and Gwen are 900 words next week and so is next chapter maybe.
