Summary/disclaimer: Time for another chapter of Magical Mysteries. Enjoy the 900-word chapter. I don't own Ben Ten, Cartoon Network and a few others do.

Conjure could only wonder what was running through the princesses' mind when it came down to it. Charmcaster was quite interested in her own thoughts at the moment. He tapped his fingers against the books around him.

"You know, if we're going to break in and it was that easy? Then once we're in their dimension?" Conjure asked, pausing to pet one of the rock monsters around him. "Then we should maybe FIGHT and make things different? Make sure we know Adwaita's plan and how to stop him?" Conjure questioned while blinking and turning around to look at the princess.

"Least we got the book they wanted so badly…" Conjure heard from Charmcaster as he looked at said book.

"If it was that easy?" Conjure asked, raising his eyebrow in response to this. "Then it would already be done… All we did was put a bigger target on our backs. If we were going to storm Ledgerdomain and did so NOW? Adwaita would have a small army ready for us when we go back, you know… He wants us to come back." Conjure put in as he patted one of the creatures on the head.

Charmcaster said nothing, quite unsure of what to do next. He had a point, going back home was what the monster on the throne wanted. He could kill them easily, but he wanted them broken… It was quite simple he was a monster that could only dwell on the suffering of others.

But that arrogance made him predictable. It made him have a NEED to prove he was better than them, it made him have a DESIRE to prove he was on top of everyone.

"I think I got an idea how to beat him." Charmcaster said, snapping her fingers and calling her creatures towards him. "We just needed to be smarter than he is." Charmcaster said while conjure hummed and shook his head as he looked to the side.

"Ah, such an easy answer, why didn't I think of it?" Conjure questioned which got a frown from Charmcaster.

He knew for a fact that something would be changing soon enough. He could only question what was going to change soon enough.

"Do you think things will be good back home?" Charmcaster questioned while conjure hummed.

"I don't know what things will be like… But knowing your uncle?" Conjure questioned while rubbing at his chin and then turning to the side. "Maybe things will be different, hopefully some people will be ok. I don't know how many people will fine, Adwaita would be sure to try and capture people." Conjure said and sighed.

He got up and started to walk around the room, he was quite tired of things being this horrid. He didn't know what Adwaita wanted from them besides capturing Charmcaster.

He needed a victory in his mind. A single victory would be able to give him some purpose, it would be single handily turning the cloud of despair that was hanging over him.

Conjure watched Charmcaster turn to look at him. He tapped his fingers together, curious at he clicked his tongue against the roof of his mouth.

"Is there anything we can do to try and turn things around?" Conjure questioned as he looked at the woman. "We need a plan; this book might give us an edge… But we need to strike back, show them that we're dangerous." Conjure asked before he snapped his fingers, floating the book towards Charmcaster.

He didn't know what was in the book near him. Charmcaster did, as she was the one who wanted the book for her plan. Charmcaster could only hum and grab the book from her partner.

"Also? We need to leave soon enough." Charmcaster heard from Conjure. "Their going to figure out this location and then burn it down…. Adwaita isn't stupid, he wants us to get comfortable and then try and tear that away from us." Conjure put in, crossing his arms and walking outside.

He needed air, needed to think of a plan… There was something that needed to be done… He looked down at his feet.

Conjure questioned what the next plan to win was. There had to be SOME form of idea on how to win this war… And he just wasn't seeing it.

If he did see it? Then he'd be curious what he was missing. The villain had a weakness, he just didn't know how to exploit it and take down the monster.

Charmcaster watched her friend and partner, unsure what would happen next. There was plenty to do down the road, VERY MUCH.

Charmcaster yawned and started to read the book in front of her.

"We are going to come back home once again." Charmcaster added and shook her fingers together.

"Conjure, you, ok?" Charmcaster questioned which was greeted by a hum as she flicked to the next page.
