As you pass a gambling ring you notice a few people watching you.

You give them a polite bow and continue walking.

After a few moments of simply walking through the ghetto, you arrive at the research facility. The guards let you in, and you take a look around.

As soon as you walk in you see a Man you looks an awful lot like Doc Brown...this must be Lloyd Asplund... He doesn't even notice you, or know who exactly you are either...He probably doesn't even know Clovis is dead. You walk up to him and tap him on the shoulder.

"Excuse me Mr. Asplund?"

He turns around and immediately notices you.

His eyes are immediately drawn to the soft blue glow of the Arc Reactor in your chest, visible through your shirt

You say "Hello, I'm Star-Lord Han Quill, I'm the Temporary Viceroy until my wife, Princess Cornelia arrives..."

Mr. Asplund seems a little taken back by your title, but regains his composure and bows.

You say "I've come to inspect the KMF Lancelot..."

"Of course, please follow me."

You follow Mr. Asplund through the halls, as he explains some of the technicalities of the project to you. It seems excessively complicated...until you remember, this is Lloyd Asplund we're talking about.

After a while, you arrive in a large clean room, where a strange machine stands, then you see a familiar Brown haired Japanese teenager...it's Suzaku Kururugi, the teen who was accused of killing Clovis before you proved his innocence to the Captain earlier today...

You say "Ah, hello again Suzaku"

The young man turns around, surprised to see you.

"Oh! Oh, um, hi..." He says a bit nervous, "Your name is Quill, right? I just met you earlier...

You say "oh right, in japan you have family names first...No, I'm Han"

"Oh, um, okay..."

You motion him to continue explaining the machine to Mr. Asplund, who steps a little bit back and lets the two of you speak in private.

You say "I often find that those who use the equipment can provide much more reliable assesments compared to the designers... So tell me Suzaku... what are your thoughts on the Lancelot?"

"Well, the testing was completed three months ago...and besides the expected energy drain due to it's size, we haven't found anything wrong with it yet.

You say "How complicated would you say the controls are"

"Not too bad once you figure it out, there are diagrams to the most common functions all over the ship."

He begins to explain how to use some of the more common features.

You give a frown as you realize how complicated the Lancelot's controls are...

You say "Dr. Asplund, tell me, you do know what made the Glasgow and Sutherlands so succesful... It was that they were easy to learn how to use..."

Mr. Asplund seems a little surprised by your words, but responds.

"Yes, I do believe that is correct. It was how the people reacted to it that mattered, not the complexity of the machine."

You say "So kindly tell me why you felt the need to make the controls of the Lancelot more complicated than programing the time on a VCR...?"

Mr. Asplund takes a step back, as if you just slapped him.

"I'm sorry?

You say "The Lancelot is intended for Mass-Production...as such it should have a more streamlined design...A complicated design is fine, just not for a mass production model..."

"I see..."

You think about this for a second.

You say "Tell me, are there any other Test pilots?"

"Well we did have some, but none of them could get the hang of it. I think they were expecting a Hot-Rodding Simulator or something.

You say "Or maybe it's because they were trained using Sutherlands and Glasgows... not Lloyd's Hodge-Podge... "

Mr. Asplund begins to sweat nervously.

You say "Put simply It is my opinion that The Lancelot is unsuitable for Mass Production...At most it could be used in a niche role, with limited production..."

"I'm sorry?

You say "I do recognize that what you made here is quite impressive... However it would be best suited for only a limited production, I don't see it replacing the Glasgow or Sutherland as the main Knightmare Frame fielded by The Holy Britannian Empire"

Mr. Asplund now has a look of anger, or possibly disgust.

"Are you seriously telling me you think my work is inferior to a bumbling Italian Fucking halfwit?"

You say "no... I am saying your work is not ergonomically efficient enough to replace the Glasgow or Sutherland... "

Mr. Asplund now is in your face, although he still maintains some distance.

You give a wicked smile to Asplund.

You say "Or We can put the project on hold, until my wife, Princess Cornelia Li Britannia arrives to officially take the role of Viceroy... I imagine she'd love to here about how you are squandering research funding to see how many Bells and Whistles can be added on to a KMF..."

You watch as Mr. Asplund's face becomes a deep shade of red.

You say "Keep in mind I am willing to allow limited production of the Lancelot... I can not guarrentee she may not do the same..."

Mr. Asplund now is at a loss for words. He can't even look you in the eyes. He looks down, before looking at you again.

"I accept your decision"

You smile at Lloyd Asplund and give a friendly wave goodbye to Suzaku, and leave the facility, walking back through the Ghetto to the Viceroy's Palace, an idea turning in your head...'What if the War Machine armor was recreated as a Knightmare Frame...It could certainly be possible, one of the Knights of the Round has a KMF with Duel shoulder cannons...So The single Shoulder Gun of The War Machine wouldn't be that hard' You think to yourself.

You aren't paying attention where you're walking, and you accidentally bump in to an elderly man, who begins rapidly appologizing in broken english.

"I'm sorry! My bad! I didn't see you! I'm sorry! I'm sorry! I didn't see you!"

You stop him.

You reply to him in Fluent, but slow Japanese, "No, sir, It's my fault, I should have been watching where I was going.." you help the man to his feet, and he just stares in shock, He's never even seen any Britannian be nice to a japanese person, let Alone a Britannian who speaks Japanese and appologizes when in the wrong...

"Are you sure you're alright?" you ask, and the man gives a genuine smile at the site of you.

"Yes, I'm fine. But... Are you really a Britannian?

You say "I am indeed, I'm Han Quill, The Temporary Viceroy until my wife Princess Cornelia arrives..."

His eyes notice the soft blue glow of the Arc Reactor in your chest. He wonders why it is glowing.

You say "Don't worry, It's not dangerous... It's just a..uh.. Medical implant?"

The man's eyes widen, and he nods vigorously.

You wave goodbye to the man and continue back to the palace.
