(Chinese Fake-Out)
I would like to thank everyone who reviewed, favorited or followed this story since I last updated it.
Ellismskd24: Nice job figuring it out. I don't know about Cody and Gwen having an effect on that storyline, but if I do decide to go into All Stars with this, I do intend to give that story arc a sizable overhaul.
WeirdAlfan101: Yeah, I knew going into this I was gonna have Duncan and Courtney have a more satisfying ending, and Trent and Gwen deserved to have some closure and patch things up, even if they don't get back together. I don't wanna spoil anything about the finale, but you're right about repeat finalists and returning competitors.
Frosty Wolf: Gumption is a definite yes, but I have my doubts that agents would really help with someone like Chris. Yeah, I tried to write Trent as accurately as I could. I hate when fanfics make him out to be a total asshole, so there was no way I was going to do that with mine. Plus you are right, him and Cody would be close friends. I never really pictured Duncan or Courtney going past this point, but I always planned for them to patch things up.
SargentEpsilon: Actually knowing Chris, chances are he knew something was up with Mal for a good long while, but didn't do anything because he wanted to make some drama. But yeah, he probably would pull some strings to make it happen for ratings and drama.
Romeoaifesili: Thanks, I'm glad to see you liked it. Duncan and Courtney getting back together was something I always had in mind, and I knew I would have them go once they did, but yeah they are a powerful duo when they actually work together. I did think about having Cody pair with Gwen during the challenge, but as you yourself said, it would be too predictable, and I wanted to have some interactions between DJ and Gwen. The next chapter is going to feature the challenge in China, but I don't want to spoil anything about it, but I will say that Alejandro isn't out of the running just yet. Don't forget that he still has Tyler on his side.
Gman5846: Thanks, I'm glad to see you liked it. Yeah, Duncan and Courtney getting back together was something I had always planned. If you do go through with that TDWT fic, let me know. I'd really like to read it myself.
Brocknedjar: Thanks, I'm glad to see you liked it. Duncan and Courtney getting back together was always the plan, and I knew I wanted to give Trent some spotlight. Alejandro and Noah was hilarious, but it also served as a way of keeping Alejandro in the game.
Fritz Electroscreech: I know what you mean, but I knew that I was going to have them leave once their story was done. On the bright side though, at least they got a better ending to their story than in canon. Sierra, she's sort of TBD right now. I haven't really thought about that episode just yet, so I guess we'll just have to wait and see.
SuperSonicHeroes: Thanks, I'm glad to see you liked it. The uneven gender numbers was also a problem I had to deal with in my Underdog story, and using it to shut up the gay rights people was the solution I came up with there too. Cody sitting out the challenge and replacing Chef, that was another idea I had for that story, but in that one it was Alejandro who did it. I knew going into this I woul have Duncan and Courtney reunite, and yeah Courtney has gone through a lot of character development in this story. Yeah, eliminating them was kind of a shame, but I knew that it had to be done. I knew I wanted to give Trent and Gwen some closure too, and I thought that it would be a fun idea to have him show up in the middle of the season to make it happen.
OmnipotentUIJudgeOfCharacterOG: Yep, this chapter actually concluded two major story arcs in this fic. DJ was right about Duncan too. Duncan might have his moments, but he does have a good heart, even if he'd never admit it. Courtney's apology scene was pretty much meant to be the height of her character arc in this fic. Duncan and Courtney being eliminated was a damn shame sure, but if it meant they got to reconcile, I say it was worth it. I tried to give them the best ending I could, and I'd like to think I did that. Alejandro and Noah both winning, not only is it ironic, but I also found it necessary. I couldn't have Alejandro leave yet, and I didn't want to get rid of Noah just yet either. Yeah, Noah pretty much has his priorities straight, as in not wanting to die. This isn't really the first time we've seen Alejandro be ruthless, but it is the first time he's show it to one of the other contestants. I knew that if Trent was going to be there, he would have to warn them in some way. Good job recognizing Mal in Duncan's dream. He isn't going to appear in this fic, but if I do an All Stars fic/ sequel to this story, he'll definitely make an appearance.
Guest: Thanks, I'm glad to see you liked it. Yeah, I tried to give Duncan and Courtney a more satisfying ending than they got in canon, and I'd like to think I did that. Yeah, Alejandro and Noah being forced to work together, while giving Gwen and Heather vibes, was pretty funny. I did pretty much give Tyler the same role that Owen had, since they're both pretty similar in personality. I did want Trent to have some closure with Gwen, and give her and Cody his blessing. Yeah, Cody and Trent do have a lot in common as far as that's concerned. Noah and the bear, oh god I can see the fanfictions coming now.
Guest: Honestly, I haven't given any thought to pairing Ezekiel with anyone.

In typical fashion, Chris started off the episode with a recap of the last one as he made his way qo his quarters "Last time on Total Drama World Tour: Our newlywed couples fell hard for Niagara Falls, some falling harder than others. Now that the teams had been resolved, some alliances had to be tested, and the same went for a few tempers. Fake marrying each other might have done Courtney and Duncan some good for their relationship, but not much good for them as far as the competition goes. In the end, the two of them got sent home, but they went out in style. But the question still remains: Who's going to win? Who's going to lose? Who's going to be… in my hot tub?" he cut himself short when he found Blainely sitting in his hot tub "Seriously?"
"What, this is a quality tub and I need to work on my skin." Blainely gave a shrug "So what's your damage?"
"My damage is that the tub is for hosts only."
"You're not the only host here you know, or did you need some proof? Well check this out. You guys can expect lights, fights and a whole world of awesome sights, and you can only find all of that right here on Total! Drama! World Tour!"
"Okay okay you've made your point, now get out of my tub!"

The sun was just rising over the skies above, though things were rather tense in the economy class section of the plane, at least for a few.
Gwen let out a sigh as she sat up on one of the benches in economy class, Cody still resting his head in her lap "You know it's kind of weird, I can't remember the last time I felt so at peace, at least on this show. It's like a huge burden has been lifted off my shoulders."
"I know what you mean." Tyler glanced over at her "It seems like it's a lot calmer now than it was for the past few days."
"Probably because of the relationship crap finally calming the hell down. Now that all the crap with Duncan and Courtney is done, maybe things will get easier." but then she quickly slapped a hand over her own mouth "Crap!"
"What's the matter?"
"I'm remembering what happened the last time I jinxed it in the Amazon. That mess ended with us being captured by Zing Zings, me getting hit with an epipen and getting what Cody decided to call a medi-crash-"
"Not a bad thing to call it."
"-not to mention me sticking my hand in Cody's pants and using a pair of X-ray glasses to get a look at his…" she cringed at the memory, but her cheeks turned pink for a moment "Yeah, not a fun day. Anyway, pushing past that and never mentioning it again, Duncan and Courtney are both out of the game now."
"Yeah, kind of sad though." DJ sat upright a short distance away from the others, and he let out a sigh "I'm happy the two of them patched things up, but I still feel bad about having to vote them off like that."
"Don't give that too much thought big guy." Gwen patted him on the shoulder "Noah put it best when he said it, the two of them getting kicked off together is probably the best thing we can do for their relationship right now. At least now they're probably making out on a beach somewhere back in Canada, hopefully without any of those stupid lists of hers."
"Yeah I know, but still…"
"You know she's right dude." Tyler perked up "And don't forget, even if they're not here right now, the best thing we can do is keep fighting and win the game for them. That's what I wanna do with Lindsay, and I've got Alejandro to thank for reminding me of that."
"Oh yeah… great." DJ shared a look with Gwen, and both cringed slightly, which went unnoticed by Tyler.
XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
(Confessional- Tyler)
"Oh yeah, I am so totally stoked!" Tyler pumped a fist in triumph "I actually made it all the way to the final seven, and I wanna go all the way to the end! I promised Lindsay that I was gonna go all the way and win it for us, for her! I feel like I can do anything right now, and I owe it all to her, and to Alejandro! With him by my side and her in my head, I can do this!" calmed himself down slightly and let out a sigh "Man, I really am lucky to have someone like Alejandro helping me out this season. At least he's nothing like Heather was back on the island. Noah was probably just overreacting."
XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
(Confessional- Noah)
"I think it's safe to say I've got a big problem on my hands now." Noah frowned in thought from his place in the confessional "On one hand, the relationship drama was really getting old by this point, and I doubt I'm the first one to say that today. On the other hand, without Duncan here, I lost a vote I could count on against Alejandro, maybe two if you count Courtney. But in any case, right now I have Gwen, Cody and DJ on my side, so even if Alejandro wins immunity again, I can guarantee that none of them will vote for me, at least not yet. On the other hand, Alejandro has a lot more skills than I do, and he's still got one pawn left in Tyler. Then there's the wild card I have to consider: Blaineley."
XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
Meanwhile, with the blonde hostess wannabe…
"If I could have your attention passengers!" at the same time, Blainely sat in the cockpit of the plane, making her own announcement on the loudspeaker "Are any of you feeling alone in this game and looking for an ally you can call your very own? Consider the opportunity of joining forces with me, and I promise you won't regret it. This promise is not legally binding, the offer may be withdrawn at any time." once she finished her announcement, she turned over towards Chef "So what about you, have you ever considered helping out a contestant?"
"Don't waste your breath girly, I never mess with the game." Chef told her flatly.
"Oh right I forgot, you got busted helping DJ out last season. It's a damn shame really, because I have connections in the world of television, and I've always thought that you would be great on your own show." that earned a raised eyebrow from Chef.
XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
Meanwhile, in the common area…
By this point, Cody had met up with Noah in the common area of the plane, the two of them going over nerd stuff "I can't tell you how glad I am that Sierra wasn't around during the whole wedding challenge yesterday. She wanted to throw a wedding reception for us when we got back home. She wanted to get one of those giant cupcake cakes, and then spend the day smashing the icing into each other's faces!"
"That's so Disney it physically hurts to listen to." Noah shuddered at the thought "Just be glad you got rid of her before the merge, because then there wouldn't be anyone around to stop her from having her way with you."
"You're telling me. But enough about that, what did you want to talk about?"
"The giant Latino elephant in the room. Without Duncan here, we lost a vote we could count on to get rid of the eel. Lucky for us I do have another idea in mind to make up for that."
"Which is?"
"Let me put it in a metaphorical sense: If you want to take out the bridge, the best way to do it is to remove the pillars that support it first."
"So if you want to get rid of Alejandro… we have to get rid of any potential allies he could still have in the game?"
"Exactly, and there are only two candidates that fit the bill right now."
"You mean… what's her name again?"
"Blaineley, though apparently her real name is Mildred." he was met with an odd look "I heard a few of the interns talking about it in the cargo hold earlier. Anyway, she's more of a wild card right now than anything else, but he does have one surefire pawn that's sticking to him like glue right now. Tyler. Think about it, he is to Alejandro what Lindsay was to Heather. That's why I had voted for her the first time we lost back at Wawanakwa, because I knew that they were in an alliance. The only problem is that you guys voted me off instead."
"Because you didn't do anything in that challenge."
"Which was a mistake that I learned from. Anyway, the point is that if we can't find a chance to get rid of Alejandro today, Tyler is our next best option."
"You… really think that's the best option?"
"Either him or Mildred, but in any case, if you want to capture the king, sometimes you have to widdle away at the various pawns first."
"Right…" Cody's face fell at the thought "I get it."
"What's the matter now?"
"I feel kind of bad about doing that to Tyler, he is my friend you know."
"And he was on my team, but I realize how much of a sucker he is. Remember, he's pretty much filling the same role that Lindsay did."
"I know, but… Look man, I know that Tyler's got his… moments, but he's a good guy. If we try and talk to him, I'm sure we can get through to him."
"...You're not gonna drop this are you?"
"I'd really rather not."
"Fine, but if Alejandro and/or Blainelely get immunity in the next challenge, then I'm not gonna hesitate to vote Tyler off, whether you like it or not." and on that note, Noah promptly made his way back to first class.
"I know, but that's what I'm afraid of."
"Hey." this was when Gwen came into the room and sat down in front of Cody, and she quickly took notice of how downcast he looked "You okay?"
"Yeah, Noah and I were just talking strategy again, and he's basically telling me that the hardest choices require the strongest wills."
"...What anime is that quoting?"
"Actually it's from Infinity War. Anyway, now I really understand why DJ found it so hard to vote off Duncan and Courtney. It's not fun having to get rid of your friends."
"Trust me, I get that feeling. You wanna talk about it?"
"Not really."
"Fine, but I'm here if you need me." she gave him a quick kiss and then left, leaving Cody to be alone with his thoughts.
XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
A few hours went by, and the plane had arrived at its next destination.
"Nihao final seven!" once they had landed, Chris gathered the remaining contestants at the foot of a certain great wall "Let me welcome all of you to the great land of China, a vast land that's rich in history, culture, innovation, and a variety of delicious sauces. Our first challenge has been torn from the pages of the rich history of this land. In 8 million BC, King Dim Sum had proudly led a battalion of donkey warriors down this very great wall."
"And all of this proves that you're not even trying." Noah pointed out dryly "8 million BC was the Miocene era, as in dinosaurs."
"Yeah, what the smartass said. Anyway, we've provided a selection of vehicles that you can use to race to our mystery destination, and they're first come first serve, such is the way of Chinese people. Ready, set…" that prompted the others to get into running positions, only for this to be cut short when his phone started ringing "Hold on guys, I'd better get this. McLean here. Yeah, I'm kind of trying to do a show here."
"So do we go or what?" asked Gwen.
"Uh huh, yeah."
"Yeah, as in we go?" asked Alejandro.
"Yeah, can we do this later?"
"So do we go now?" asked Tyler.
"Okay, fine." and that sent the others running up the wall "Hey, who the hell said that you guys could go? Yeah well you'd better watch out, there were a few things that I was gonna warn you guys about, but now you can forget it!"
XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
Meanwhile, with the final seven…
"Come on, come on!" the race was on now, with Gwen making her way to the front of the pack and dragging Cody by the arm as they raced up the wall "I say we get ready to grab a hold of the rickshaw, it's so ours!"
"Hate to break it to you girlfriend, but I don't see a vanity plate or your name on it!" this was when Blainely came running up next to her "I on the other hand, did put my name on it!"
"How about you quit breathing down my neck, or get a mint or something! Your breath smells like one of Owen's farts!" Gwen tried to pull ahead, but was met with Blainely hitting her in the face with a karate chop, sending her and Cody tumbling to the ground.
XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
(Confessional)
"Now we're talking!" Blainely gave a wide grin "I would like to send a shoutout to my personal trainer bunny for making me do as many sprints as you did, because you totally rule! Sorry for calling you a waste of skin, I think we both know that was just the adrenaline talking. Also, I want to give big ups to my hand to hand combat instructor Butchy! You are so much more than just a roid monkey, no matter what I might have said."
XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
Back with the challenge…
"A karate chop to the face?" Gwen let out a snarl as she pulled herself to her feet "Oh that is it, this bitch is going down!" she was about to bolt, only to stop when she noticed the nervous look she was getting from Cody "What, too much?"
"I don't know, it's just… You usually don't get this aggressive." Cody pointed out.
"Hang around someone like Leshawna for long enough, and they tend to rub off on you after awhile." Gwen paused, then took a breath to calm herself down "But you have a point. I guess this show is just getting to me. I've really gotta stop coming on reality TV."
"That's the attitude of a quitter!" Blainely called back to them as she hopped into the rickshaw, looking as smug as ever "Okay I'm ready, now come and get me alliance buddy! Oh wait, what I meant to say is that, if any of you would still like to be in an alliance with me, feel free to grab hold and start pulling. Also just throwing this out there, I'm a true size 0."
XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
Meanwhile, with the eel and his pet jock…
"There amigo, there's our ticket to victory!" by this point, Alejandro and Tyler had reached the selection area, where they came across a bike and a skateboard "Tyler, you know I think of you as my bromigo right? And my closest ally in this game?"
"Of course I do man!" Tyler perked up "If you wanna go ahead and use the bike, then I can just do my thing on the skateboard!"
"No no, I couldn't possibly take it from you in such a callous way. Feel free to use the bicycle as you see fit, whereas I can make do with this skateboard myself."
"You serious?"
"When am I not?"
"Then I'll see you at the finish line bro!" Tyler gave a wide grin as he mounted the bike and took off at full speed, leaving Alejandro to mount the skateboard and try to catch up.
XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
(Confessional)
"No matter, a bicycle is a small price to pay for Tyler's loyalty." Alejandro gave a shrug, and his smirk widened "What I forgot to mention to him is that I happened to win a gold medal at the South American skate Olympics."
"Of course you did!" came Noah's dry tone from outside the confessional.
XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
Meanwhile, with the rest of them…
"At least it's not pink." Noah gave a shrug as he mounted a small tricycle, but before he took off he gave one last glance back at Cody "Remember what I said, becuase depending on how today goes, you know who has to get dropped out of a plane." and then he took off down the wall after the others.
"Yeah, I know." Cody let out a sigh as he glanced around what was left "So what else is there to pick from?"
"Well the skateboard and the bikes are gone." Gwen let out a groan "So right now we've only got the wooden sandals-"
"They're called getas, and I'm pretty sure they're supposed to be Japanese."
"-along with the donkey and the pogo stick. You ever use one of those?"
"I did a few times trying to impress a girl, and I ended up with my head being rammed through a wall."
"Well that rules that out. Maybe I could-"
"Hey you guys!" this was when DJ came over to them on the back of the donkey "You two need a lift to the finish line?"
"...Or we could do that." Gwen shared a look with Cody, and the two of them gave a shrug before climbing onto the back of the donkey "Thanks for helping us out DJ."
"No worries, that's what friends are for right?" DJ gave a smile as he patted the donkey on the head, before the three of them went on their way "I can't tell you guys how relieved I am to be over my animal hurting curse, otherwise we'd be in a serious problem right now. I know we're kind of against him, but I do owe Alejandro a lot for that."
"Yeah well, just make sure you don't repay him by helping him vote one of us off. Noah was right about him, he's about as slimy and slippery as they come."
"He kind of reminds me of Justin to be honest." Cody pointed out.
"Exactly, and don't forget about all the crap he put me and Trent through last season."
"How so?"
"Okay I don't know how much you guys saw last season, given how Chris probably edits the footage to make it look however he wants it to, but even though I broke up with Trent because he was throwing challenges for me, Justin was the one who sent that whole situation spiralling out of control."
"Yeah I know, Trent and I both kind of tore into him for that after he got kicked off."
"If only I could've seen that, god only knows how bad I would've torn into him. Let me put it this way, you remember how I hit you in the crotch with that oar?"
"Twice, but yeah."
"Multiply that by his ranking last season."
"...Oh man, 14 times?"
"Yep."
"You're just jealous because he's hotter than you." Blaineley took the opportunity to throw a bit of shade, earning a pissed off look from Gwen.
"I don't see what you're laughing at, it's not like you're going anywhere anytime soon."
"Oh I wouldn't be so sure about that. You never know, I just might surprise you."
"We'll see about that you fake blonde."
"My hair is real!"
"So is her personality, unfortunately." Cody muttered under his breath, though it was still loud enough for Gwen to hear, which earned him a heated kiss.
XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
Meanwhile, with the eel and the jock…
"Come on, come on!" Tyler continued pushing himself on the bike, with Alejandro keeping up by his side with ease as they carried on uphill "Way to keep with the speed bro!"
"Gracias mi bromigo." Alejandro gave his typical charming smile "I hope that gravity is also your buddy on this incline, as I would hate to see you lose so easily."
"No way bro, remember what that one songs says? What doesn't kill you makes you stronger, and nothing's killed me yet!"
"Yet being the key word here." Alejandro simply rode past Tyler with ease until he ollied over an object in their path "You may want to watch out though!"
"Why, what the heck is it?" Tyler then rode into the object in question, which exploded when he hit it, and he got his answer.
"Hey guys, you wanna know what else was invented by the Chinese? Yet another one of the many ways that Tyler hurts himself on this show!"
"Ow…"
XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
Meanwhile, with the trio on the donkey…
Around this time, Cody and Gwen were still riding with DJ on the back of his donkey, and the latter raised an eyebrow as she turned towards Cody "So what are these guys calling themselves again?"
"They're called Team Four Star." Cody told her "They're a group that's pretty well known on the internet, and they're the ones that made the Dragon Ball Z Abridged series. They ended it awhile back after they finished with the third season."
"Abridged series?"
"Oh yeah, see they basically remade the original Dragon Ball Z series by redubbing everything with their own music and transcripts, but with a lot more jokes thrown in and cutting out a lot of filler content. They're not the only ones who do it though."
"I think I caught my brother watching those a few times, but I know what Dragon Ball looks like, and it's not that stuff."
"Like I said, they're not the only ones. There's Something Witty Entertainment, they've been doing an abridged series for Sword Art Online."
"Is that the one that everybody hates but keep watching anyway?"
"That's the one, but Team Four Star did it first. If anything, they're the ones who came up with the idea to create a comedic abridged remake of the original, and their series was great and only got better as it went on. It's so quotable you'll probably hear it in everyday life."
"Examples including?"
"Where do you think the term crapbaskets originated from?"
"...Oh. Huh."
"Yeah."
"I guess you do learn something new every day."
"Just wait until I finally get to tell you about Avatar: the Last Airbender."
"I'm pretty sure Dustin watched that one too. Didn't he say something about there being a live action movie or-"
"There is no live action movie!" Cody's harsh tone took both Gwen and DJ by surprise, but he quickly calmed himself down "Sorry, but… We don't talk about that."
"...Okay then."
XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
Meanwhile, with the eel and the jock…
"Oh yeah, extra points for making it more extreme!" charred and scorched, Tyler's spirit didn't waver as he continued along the path, and he caught up to Alejandro before too long "You didn't think you'd lose me that easy did you?"
"I had hoped not amigo!" Alejandro gave another fake smile as they carried on "After all, what's the point of securing a victory if you don't have to work for it?"
"Oh yeah, I love the thrill of a good challenge! Hey by the way, you've got boots on right?"
"Si. Why, were going to say something about my shoes being untied?"
"I thought about it, but no. I mean who needs to do stuff like that when you've got a chance to push yourself to the limit right?"
"I couldn't agree more!" the two of them started taking their race uphill, until a loud crash was heard, and the two of them looked back to see what caused it.
As it turns out, Noah was stuck a short distance behind the two of them, grumbling as he tried to pull his tricycle out of a pothole in the path "Curse my lack of muscle… and roids… and pretty much anything that involves upper body strength!"
"Uh… hey bro, you think we could stop for a second?"
"I take it you need to catch your breath?" Alejandro screeched to a halt, with Tyler following his lead, both of them panting slightly "I suppose it would be prudent to moderate ourselves, given how steep this climb is."
"No no I can keep going, but Noah looks like he needs some help back there. I think we should try and help him out." this caused Alejandro to tense up "What?"
"I understand what you're saying amigo, but… Speaking from a strategic standpoint, it would not be beneficial to stall at a time like this, especially when the others are so close to catching up with us."
"Yeah, but the dude needs a hand, so I can't just leave him hanging. If you can't win this stuff the right way, then don't win it at all, at least that's what I say." so Tyler promptly reversed down the slope of the wall, unaware of the dark scowl Alejandro was shooting at him, and he stopped next to Noah and pulled his bike out of the pothole "There you go bro, that oughta help."
"Thanks, that actually works out for me." Noah glanced over to see Alejandro scowling, which caused him to smirk "In a lot more ways than you think."
"No worries, I say never leave a man behind, and I believe in fair play."
"That's definitely good to know. You'd better remember that at the next vote."
"I will dude, and I always keep my word." he failed to notice Alejandro smirk as he heard this.
XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
(Confessional)
"Cody's got a few points about Tyler, I'll give him that." Noah gave a shrug "But it still doesn't change the fact that Alejandro has him wrapped around his finger, and Tyler isn't particularly smart, to put it in simple terms. I gave Cody a chance to try and get through to him on this, but depending on how this challenge turns out, we're probably gonna have to vote him off. Either way, the eel is gonna be at a major disadvantage, or outright lose entirely. It's a situation where my plan benefits either way."
XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
Back with the challenge…
"Oh yeah, go little buddy!" by this point, Tyler and Alejandro were continuing with their little race, with the former noticing how easily Noah was keeping up "You're doing a hell of a lot more awesome than I gave you credit for!"
"Nerd power, not something you wanna underestimate." Noah told him without bothering to look at him "You'd be surprised at how much work you gotta put in when you're trying to avoid the roided out jackasses that try to shove you into a locker."
"Totally impressive dude, way to show some hardcore-" Tyler was cut off when he ended up running over another explosive, sending him flying through the air.
"...Huh. Well that happened. You gonna go back for your boytoy?"
"I think you know the answer to that by now amigo!" Alejandro proceeded to pull ahead as he continued on, with Noah following hot on his trail.
XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
Meanwhile, with the donkey trio…
"Come on, come on!" DJ and the others continued riding on the back of Ace, only to stall for a brief moment when they saw Tyler flying through the air "Uh… should we help him?"
"It's okay, he's survived a lot worse." Cody assured him, then glanced up again "Tyler is a good guy, and I know he's got a good heart and cares about his friends, but when I look at him wipe out like that, there's one big thought that comes to mind. It's too bad that he doesn't have Saiyan biology, because at this rate he'd probably be unstoppable." he was met with a few dull looks from Gwen and DJ, and even the donkey "What? You can't tell me it's not true."
"He's not wrong ya know!" this was when Chris got their attention from where he was flying a helicopter above them and yelling through his megaphone "Also, anyone who survives, meet me at the finish line! There's a hell of a lot more excitement to come, not to mention free fortune cookies with every takeout entree, right here on Total! Drama! World Tour!"
XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
One commercial break later…
"Alright, we're rolling!" after the commercial break, Chris had relocated to where the finish line was posted near the end of the Great Wall "Welcome back to Total Drama World Tour, where our final seven contestants are in a mega tough race down the Great Wall of-"
"Coming in hot!" this was when Noah and Alejandro blazed onto the scene, forcing Chris to jump over the side of the wall to avoid being hit as they screeched to a stop "Huh, so I do have some physical capabilities that don't involve roiding out like a jock, because I'm pretty sure I just won."
"I'm afraid your mistaken amigo, because I just claimed victory." Alejandro shot him a smirk, earning a dirty look in response.
"Yeah no, I just edged you out. I have eyes, so I know what I'm talking about."
"And I'm telling you that wasn't the case. I suppose we'll have to check the photo finish for this case."
"What show do you two think you're on right now?" Chris climbed his way back over the wall and dusted himself off "It's not like there's a prize for first anyway."
"What?!"
"If you had bothered to wait for me to say the rules, then you'd know that anyone who makes it over the line before I ring that giant gong over there is gonna get to join me for a very special lunch, which is also known as the next part of the challenge for today."
"...I still won."
"And I'm Jon Bon Jovi." was Noah's sarcastic comeback.
"Coming in hot!" this was when DJ, Cody and Gwen crossed over the finish line on the back of his donkey, screeching to a halt in front of the others "Yes!"
"I already did that when I crossed, though apparently the host man over there was too cheap to give us a prize for winning the race."
"I believe that." Gwen dismounted the donkey and did a little bit of stretching "Just tell me that we beat Blaineley here."
"I could tell you that, but I'd be lying."
"Wait what?"
"Yep, the small but snarky and intelligent audience favorite." Blaineley looked up from where she was reading a magazine in her rickshaw, surrounded by shopping bags "I'm so sorry to have to disappoint you New Heather."
"You did not just-"
"But I did have the greatest tour ever! I got to see the little villages, the rice patties, and I even got to do a little bit of shopping."
"But that's not… You couldn't have…" Alejandro fumbled over this for a moment as he shared a confused look with both Noah and DJ "Who pulled you?"
"Hate to break it to you Fabulando, but if there's one lesson I've learned in my career, it's that a good reporter never reveals her sources." Blaineley gave a smirk just as the gong sounded, which signalled the end of the race.

Meanwhile, with her sources…
"Oh god… oh god…" Chef laid back against a table, panting heavily and practically pouring sweat out from the heat and exhaustion "If she's a true size zero, then that sure as hell makes me the emperor of China.
XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
(Confessional)
"It doesn't make any sense." DJ frowned in thought "She managed to beat all of us out of the blue without any of us noticing. Okay, something about that definitely doesn't seem right."
XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
A short while later, at a certain restaurant…
"Okay, now for the next part of the challenge." after a quick transition, Chris gathered six of the remaining contestants at a certain restaurant "In order to win the challenge for today, you guys are gonna have to win more than anyone else at this totally awesome Chinese restaurant."
"This should be a fun one, who doesn't eat wontons." Cody gave a wide grin "Last year during New Years, I actually stuffed myself with a thousand of them in one go."
"Yeah I know, you made me take pictures of that and put them on Facebook." Noah pointed out dryly, then took a glance over at Gwen "He also showed me that bra you gave him for hooking you up with Trent back at Wawanakwa and had me help him burn it."
"...Oh." Gwen turned to Cody and was about to say something, but then paused before turning back to Noah "Please tell me you didn't-"
"Put in on social media for all the world to see? Do I look like that jackass to you?" he jerked a thumb over at Chris "Believe it or not, even I have principles."
"...Good to know."
"Yeah, moving on from Gwen's lingerie." Chris directed their attention back to him, earning a pissed off look from Gwen in the process "Hate to break it to you Cody, but this is the world's most authentic Chinese restaurant, so you guys are gonna be enjoying real street food delicacies like deep fried grasshoppers and kung pai larvae."
"Oh boy…" DJ gave a nervous gulp, then glanced over to see Alejandro with his cheeks bulging in disgust "Are you okay man?"
"I… I'm fine, I assure you." Alejandro snapped out of his stupor and quickly regained his usual calm demeanor "Where I come from, we're known for eating barbecued guinea pig. Something like this is… nothing."
"Um… okay then."
"Hold that thought." Chris picked up his phone and answered it "Yo, it's McLean here. Yeah, I'm kind of in the middle of trying to do a show here."
"If it's Geoff, tell him he still owes me $10."
"Yeah well, I put down $20 on the pool!" this was when Tyler suddenly burst into the room "So what else did I miss?"
"Not that much, but what happened to you bro?"
"After I got blown up by that thing on the wall during the race, I landed in a pig pen and I think I found out what getting snouted means. Pretty lucky for me I've got a stomach about as strong as my fingers are."
"Is that so?" Alejandro gave a wide grin "That's very good to hear. Since Chris appears to be busy with a phone call for the moment, would you mind if I had a word with you in private? It's about time for you to repay that favor from Greece."
"Um… sure I guess." Tyler gave a confused shrug as he followed Alejandro into another room, where no one else would be around to hear.
"Right, that's not inconspicuous at all." Noah shared a glance with the others.
XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
(Confessional)
"This challenge is one of my worst fears come true." Alejandro shuddered "I've been dreading the possibility of an eating competition, because my body is my temple, and what temple keeper would wish to contaminate this?" he pulled off his shirt and started flexing his pecs to prove his point "As fate would have it though, it seems that Tyler has given me the perfect solution to mi problema."
XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
Back to the eel and his pet jock…
"Wait, you want me to eat your food for you?" Tyler paused in an attempt to process this, and then he looked horrified "You want me to help you cheat?!" he was cut off by Aleandro slapping a hand over his mouth.
"Will you keep your voice down?" Alejandro removed his hand and patted Tyler's shoulder "I understand how you feel about this situation, as I do not enjoy such tactics myself. Don't think of it as cheating, just think of it as repaying a favor to me, and that resides within your own personal code of honor, does it not? You do owe me a favor from Greece."
"Yeah I know I do, but…"
"You promised to win this entire competition for Lindsay, did you not?" that caused Tyler to freeze in place "I understand your motivation, and I respect it. I want to do what I can to help you make that wish into a reality, but I need you to help me stay in the game. So what do you say amigo, will you do it for me… for Lindsay?"
"I…" Tyler paused, then bowed his head "Okay. For Lindsay."
XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
A few minutes later…
"Okay then." Chris tucked away his phone as everyone gathered around the table and a bench next to it "You guys are gonna have to eat each bowl of delish food and open your mouth so you can prove it went down, but if you're the last to finish or you puke your guts out, then you're gonna have to join Tyler on the loser bench over there."
"Hey man, the bench plays a huge part in the game." Tyler pointed out.
"Yeah, it houses the rejects that no one cares about." Chris gave a nod, which prompted Chef to pass out bowls of food to the others, giving a subtle nod to Blaineley that went unnoticed.
"I have to hand it to you Chef, this looks simply scrumptious." Blaineley on the other hand, was less than subtle about it.
"...You're more twisted than I thought. That fits right in on this show."
"Yeah, I'm sure." Gwen rolled her eyes as she looked down at her bowl "So what the hell are we looking at?" she was answered with a chime ringing throughout the room "Ask a stupid question and they live to piss you off."
"Allow me to being the number for today." so in one of those rare moments, Chris started off the song "A little Chinese lesson for you. Manman chi means enjoy your meal."
"Manman chi, it's no raw deal!" came the chorus from the others, with Tyler being the only exception.
DJ cringed slightly as he looked down at his bowl "Is it supposed to be roasted eel?"
"Actually that's a piece of donkey meat." Chris told him "It's a local delicacy."
"Donkey, as in…? Ace where are you, fart if you can hear me buddy!"
"Yeah yeah, get on the good side of the animal rights people." Blaineley rolled her eyes as she downed her food in one bite, then opened her mouth to show that she was done.
"Apologies, I dropped something." Alejandro poked his head up from under the table and opened his mouth to show it was empty.
"Done!" Noah finished his food, with Gwen following not long after.
"Remember the wantons… remember the wantons…" Cody struggled for a moment, but he did manage to force his down "Yes, that's power to the wantons! Come on DJ, you have to finish yours!"
"I can't do it, I won't eat ace!" DJ stood firm as he pushed his away.
"And just like that, the first round is done!" Chris made the call "DJ you're out, time for you to join Tyler on the loser bench."
DJ let out a sigh as he made his way over to the loser bench, but he did raise an eyebrow when he noticed Tyler chewing and turning his head away "What the-?"
"Time for the second round." Chris motioned for Chef to pass out food, which he did, which consisted of bowls of worms, and a bowl of spaghetti and meatballs, and I'll give you one guess who that one was for.
"I have to hand it to you Chef, this smells delicious." Blaineley gave him a thumbs up, earning a wink from Chef that went unnoticed.
Once the food was passed out, Chris began the next verse of the song "Manman chi means bon appetite!"
"Manman chi, what do we have to eat?" came the chorus from the others.
"These things are still moving their feet." Gwen looked down at her food in disgust "Seriously, you're giving us hundreds of disgusting little feet."
"Worms don't have feet." Noah pointed out dryly.
"Whatever, the point still stands."
"Those are actually live meal worms, and they're a local delicacy." Chris told her, which caused a number of the contestants to gag.
"Wow Chef, that's five stars in my eyes." Blaineley finished her bowl with ease and opened her mouth to prove it, with Noah doing the same with her own food.
"Seriosuly bra, you're enjoying this?"
"What can I say, I have a stomach as strong as Tyler's fingers."
"Oh sorry, my hair tie fell, and I'm done too." Alejandro poked his head up from under the table and opened his mouth for evidence.
"Done." Cody strained slightly, but he managed to down his food and opened his mouth to prove it, though his face fell when he saw Gwen struggle in vain to finish hers.
Seeing that everyone else was done, Chris made the call "Gwen you're out, time for you to hit the loser bench."
Gwen promptly vomited in Chris' face before moving over to the loser bench, earning a few looks from DJ and Tyler (the latter suspiciously chewing again) "What? I can handle eating the precious kahones of a bull, but there are some lines even I won't cross.
"Yeah, moving on from that." Chris wiped the Gwen vomit from his face and started the next verse of the song "Manman chi, it's dinner for four!"
"Manman chi, we've got room for more!" came the chorus from the others.
Cody shuddered as he looked at the stick in front of him "I think I'm nearly done for. What is this thing anyway?"
"Those are starfish on a skewer, and they're a local delicacy." Chris told him, which earned a few gags from the others.
"Sounds delicious to me." Blaineley downed her food off screen and shot a wink at Chef, which caused him to chuckle nervously, with Noah finishing his food not long after.
"I don't know why I'm having so many problems with my hair tie today." Alejandro poked his head up from underneath the table and opened his mouth for proof.
"Remember the wantons… the wantons…" Cody tried to finish his meal, but eventually he hung his head in defeat.
"Cody you're out, time to hit the loser bench!" Chris made the call.
Cody spat out his starfish in defeat and sat down on the loser bench next to Gwen, feeling her grip his hand reassuringly, causing him to smile, but then he noticed Tyler chewing "Are you seriously having a snack while you're watching this? Wow you weren't kidding, your stomach really is as strong as your fingers."
"I'm sure his girlfriend is gonna be happy about that one." Noah commented dryly, earning a few jaw dropped looks as a result "What? Someone had to say it."
"Enough with the dirty jokes." Chris told him flatly "Seriously, the last thing we need is for this show to get another lawsuit. Chef, pass it out."
"On it." Chef passed out a series of bowls to the others that contained green mush, an eyeball and a tentacle, and a bowl of ice cream to Blaineley that no one seemed to notice because the mush was drawing so much attention "Yeah, we don't even know what that one is called, but we do know that it's not right whatever it is. Anyway, time for the song." and so he started the next verse for them "Manman chi, don't get the squirts."
"Manman chi, we'd rather eat our shirts!" came the chorus, until…
"Wait, hold on a second." DJ suddenly stood up and got everyone's attention "Does anyone else notice that Blaineley's food looks different from everyone else's?"
"Don't make a scene over this you idiot, it's exactly the same!"
"I'm pretty sure it's a bowl of ice cream."
"Hold on a second." Chris pulled out his phone and walked off "Listen dude, seriously."
"Here's a few more questions for you." Gwen bolted to her feet "Why is Alejandro bending over whenever he's eating, and why does Tyler keep chewing during each round when he shouldn't have any food? And he's got something hanging off his lip."
"I do?" Tyler slurped up the bit on his lip, and he started looking around nervously.
"You did. Anyway Chris, you gonna do something about this?"
"Oh for crying out loud!" Chris was still dealing with his annoying phone call "Okay budget problems I get it, what the hell do you want me to do?"
"Get off the phone, host the show and do your freaking job."
"Hold on." Chris hung up and turned to Gwen "You wanna start from the beginning?"
"To put in simple terms because I'm at the limit of my patience with this show, Blaineley has been getting food that's actually edible, and I'm pretty sure Alejandro is having Tyler cheat for him each round."
"Is that so?"
"That's an absolute lie!" Blaineley and Alejandro were quick to protest "There's nothing to that claim!"
"...I did it!" Tyler finally cracked under the pressure and bolted to his feet "Alejandro asked me to eat his food for him so he wouldn't have to! He said he'd take me to the finale if I did what he said!" once that outburst was over he sat back down and buried his head in his arms "Oh god, what am I doing?"
"Uh…" DJ glanced down at Tyler and patted him on the back a few times, then glanced over towards Chef with a raised eyebrow "Chef?"
"...I'm so ashamed." Chef hung his head as well.
"Oh man…"
"Okay guys, cool it with the guilt fest. We've got a challenge to do." Chris was quick to get the show back on track "We've gotta wrap this up, so here's the deal. We're gonna do one last round for the challenge, and whoever wins has invincibility from the vote tonight and gets to take one person of their choice up to first class with them."
"Yeah sure, that's a start." Gwen shot a glare at him "But you gotta make them prove that they're not cheating."
"Fine, whatever it takes to get you off my back. Blaineley, trade bowls with Noah to prove that you can eat the same crap as the rest of them. Tyler-"
"You don't have to say it bro. I get it." Tyler hung his head as he stood up from his seat "I'm going back to the plane. Sorry guys." and then he left the restaurant without another word to any of the others, leaving Noah to swap bowls with Blaineley.
"Uh… okay, so that solves that problem. Let's just get this done."
"Got it." Noah and the others started off the next verse "Manman chi, manman chi…"
"They love to eat on the Yangtze… Manman chi, manman-" Chris was promptly cut off when Blaineley and Alejandro started to puke their guts out.
Noah on the other hand, he downed his bowl with ease and finished both the challenge and the song on a high note "Now I've won the game you see, and I fly first class for free!" he set down his bowl and noticed the jaw dropped looks he was getting from the others "And that's the closest I'm ever gonna get to Broadway."
XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
A few hours went by, and the plane was once again flying through the skies.
Gwen glanced over at the confessional and cringed at the sound of puking coming from inside, then glanced over at Noah "Is he seriously still puking his guts out in there?"
"He has been since we left." Noah told him dryly "Apparently greasy eels have weak stomachs, so they have to compensate for it with pretty much everything else."
"Which raises the question. How in the name of did you manage to power through that challenge like that?"
"You hang around someone like Owen long enough, nothing smells or tastes horrible to you anymore. Kind of like Flowers For Algernon, but in a good way."
"Huh. Momentary grudging respect. So we're voting for Alejandro tonight right?"
"Who else?"
"Blaineley is the first one that comes to mind." she was met with a dull look "What? It's not just because I think she's a pain in the ass, which she is. The fact that she can manipualte one of the guys who makes the rules makes her even more dangerous."
"Fair point, but think about this. If we don't vote off Alejandro now, it's possible that we're not gonna get another chance. That was the mistake you guys made back on the island during the Say Uncle challenge."
"You mean when we voted off Eva?"
"Instead of voting off Heather. Think about it, Eva was a roid freak sure, but how long was it before you got another chance to get rid of Heather?"
"...You gonna go somewhere with this?"
"Just making a point. Anyway, with you, me, DJ and Cody voting him off, Alejandro is as good as gone." then Noah thought of something else "So where is Cody anyway?"
"He said he was gonna go and talk with Tyler about something."
"Oh joy."
XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
Meanwhile, in the cargo hold…
"Hey man, you want one?"
Tyler looked up to see Cody holding out a soda to him "Oh, thanks." he accepted the soad, but his expression remained solemn "Where did you get these anyway?"
"Noah and DJ smuggled these out of first class for me." Cody gave a shrug as he sat down next to Tyler "What about you though, are you okay?"
"I… I'm fine." Tyler let out a sigh as he lifted his head "Who the hell am I kidding, I feel like a piece of crap. I'm just… I'm so ashamed…"
"Hey come on man, Alejandro was the one who-"
"But that's just it, it wasn't his fault I helped him cheat. It was mine."
"What do you-"
"I didn't have to help him. I could've made the choice to not help him, I could've chose to stick to my guns. I could've chose to stay in this contest and keep going in a way that Lindsay, all my friends and my family could be proud of. But I let Al talk me into it. I let myself go back on my gut instinct." he buried his head in his knees again.
"...You're being way too hard on yourself man." Cody patted Tyler on the shoulder "You know a wise man once said, it doesn't matter what anyone else says, whether it be one guy or the entire world. They don't get to define who you are, you do. And not through your words, but through your actions. We all know you're better than that man, but if you really want to show Lindsay or the others, then you gotta prove it." he pulled himself to his feet and stretched his legs "Well I have to go and vote, I'll see you at the elimination ceremony." and so he made his way out of the cargo hold, leaving Tyler alone with his thoughts.
XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
About a half hour passed, and the time for the elimination ceremony had come.
Once everyone was gathered in the elimination area, DJ glanced over at Cody "So how did it go with Tyler, is he gonna vote with us?"
"It's honestly hard to say." Cody gave a shrug "I talked to him and did what I could, but I'm not really sure what he's gonna do. I guess we'll have to wait and see."
"Alright then people, it's time to throw someone out of the plane!" Chris was quick to direct everyone's attention "I would say that it's time for you guys to vote, but the thing is that they really don't matter this time around. We already kicked someone off."
"You did?" Alejandro's face lit up as he breatiehd a sigh of relief, earning a series of dirty looks from a few others, but he quickly composed himself "But we haven't voted yet."
"You didn't need to. One thing I didn't bother to mention at the start of the season is that now your contracts have a new clause in them, stating that if anyone is given illegal help from any members of the staff, they're automatically disqualified. I call it the DJ clause." this earned a low moan of shame from DJ "To dumb it down for all of you, the minute Blaineley got ousted for her illegal alliance with Chef, she was disqualified from the whole competition, and that means that she's gonna take the Drop of Shame."
"What?!" Blaineley bolted to her feet as she was tossed a parachute "If I was disqualified then why the hell did you make me finish the challenge?"
"Because I wanted to see you squirm a little bit, and it's payback for using my hot tub."
"You son of a-" Blaineley found herself snarling as she made her way towards the exit, but once she did she stopped and turned around to face the others "Not so fast, I've got a few things to say before I go anywhere. Noah, Cody, the only reason the fans give a damn about the two of you is because they want to see you make out. DJ, we all know that Alejandro was the one who got your entire team eliminated, so take a hint and grow a pair already! Alejandro, you should've given up and made out with Heather while you had the chance to!"
"Ouch."
"Can you get her out of here now?" Noah shot a pissed off look at Chris.
"I don't know, this part is kind of fun."
"Oh wait, you wanna hear something really fun?" Blaineley rounded on Chris next "The truth is that the producers actually wanted me to host this dumpster fire of a show, the only reason you got the job is because I said no and-" she was cut off when she got pushed out of the exit of the plane.
Chris let out a sigh as he composed himself, then turned to the others "So with her gone, that means the six of you get to live to suffer another day on this show."
"Actually Chris, you might wanna make that five." Tyler suddenly pulled himself to his feet and stepped forward.
"Dude what the heck are you doing?"
"I'm gonna do what I should've done in the first place: Make Lindsay and my people back home proud. I'm quitting."
"Tyler amigo, over here!" Alejandro grabbed him by the arm and tried to pull him aside "I feel that we must have a discussion before you do anything we'll both come to regret."
"Sorry Al, but it's too late for that. I don't deserve to be here, not after what I did."
"Yeah dude, you made yourself look like a fool on this show. So what?" Chris gave a shrug "It's not like you're the first, and you're sure as hell not gonna be the last."
"Maybe not, but it's my call. It's like I said, if I can't win it the right way, then I don't wanna win it at all."
"Or here's a thought, get rid of the slimy eel that got you to cheat for him." Noah was met with a dirty look from Alejandro "Okay fine, not my most subtle moment."
"Sorry guys, but I gotta make it right for everyone… especially Lindsay." Tyler let out a sigh as he picked up a parachute and made his way over to the exit "Besides, who really needs to win a million bucks right?" he was met with a few hands going up "Okay yeah that's fair, but I don't need it. I mean I've got a beautiful girlfriend waiting for me, and I made it all the way to the final six, so that's gotta be a feat in itself. Besides, if you've gotta go out then the best way to go out is on your own terms, right?"
"I can't argue with that." Cody stood up and walked over to Tyler, with DJ following his lead, and the two of them pulled Tyler into a group hug "Take care of yourself, okay man?"
"You guys too. Good luck guys, I'm rooting for all of you." Tyler gave one last wave to the final five contestants, before jumping out of the plane and out of the contest.
"...Huh. Not gonna lie, didn't see that coming." Chris broke the silence and glanced over at the others "You know it's probably for the best he quit, the producers have been giving me a crap ton of grief over this whole budget thing, and we can't afford to deal with any more of his injuries along with all the other stuff."
"That's one way to put it." Noah gave a shrug, but then he turned to Cody "Okay I'll admit it, you were right before. I didn't give Tyler enough credit."
"When push comes to shove, he knows how to do what's right." Cody gave a smile, then looked over as he felt Gwen's hand gently grip his.
"And now it's so sweet it's nauseating."
"If you didn't say it, then I definitely would've." Chris noted dryly "Anyway Noah, who do you want to bring up to first class with you?"
"...You know what? I'm gonna go with DJ." Noah was met with a few surprised looks "Better than listening to Cody or Gwen moan about how much they miss each other right?"
"Way to piss off everyone in the room."
XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
(Confessional- Noah)
"It's pretty much a strategic move on two fronts." Noah gave a shrug "First, I can make sure that I solidify DJ's loyalty to making sure Alejandro goes down. Second, I can make sure the slimy eel can't get Cody or Gwen alone and try to bribe or manipulate them. Granted neither of them are stupid, but I've learned not to take any chances with him. Still though, now that Tyler is out of the game, he's probably gonna try and do something big."
XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
(Confessional- Alejandro)
"(Bleep) que idiota (bleep) incompetentes (bleep)!" Alejandro broke off from his cursing fit in Spanish, and he let out a sigh to calm himself down "On one hand, I should be grateful to this apparently DJ clause, because it saved me from elimination. On the other hand, Tyler's cursed code of honor just cost me the only true ally I have left in the game. Granted he had his uses, and I honed them to the best of my ability. But with that being said, he was still a pawn in this game, as are all the others. As I said before, one by one, they'll all go down. Now only four others stand in the way of my victory, and I think the time has finally come for me to rid myself of Noah once and for all."
XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
Meanwhile, in the cockpit…
"Dammit…" Chris slammed a fist down on the console in frustration "You know Chef, this is very serious."
"Believe me, I know." Chef gave a shrug "All I can say is that the girl knew how to be awfully persuasive."
"I was the first choice for this gig right?"
"Uh… Of course you were!"
"Yeah right, there's no show without me!" Chris let out a nervous chuckle as he turned towards the camera to sign off "There are five contestants remaining and one million dollars still on the line, and we've still got a hell of a lot of the world left to mess up. Find out how we plan to do that next time, right here on Total! Drama! World Tour!"
"...Huh. You know it is better when you do it."
"You're damn right it is!"
A/N:
Now we see another (and the final) double elimination round, bringing the roster of contestants down to the final five, with the loss of Blainely and Tyler. I know it may seem a little bit strange to have two double eliminations in a row, but I pretty much had to do it. I couldn't see either of them going past this point, and I wanted one last reward challenge this season.
Blaineley going was pretty obvious in hindsight. To be fair though, I did mention that I only brought her in because my original plan for a returning contestant never panned out, so I basically did what was done with her in canon. On the plus side, I did get to show off how DJ is pretty smart in his own right. After all, if anyone were to recognize when a contestant is getting outside help, it's him. He has a fair bit of experience with that after all.
Now to address the elephant in the room: Tyler. Yeah, I knew going into this story that I was going to have him leave here. Honestly, I couldn't really see him going past this point, even in the Underdog story I did awhile back. On the plus side though, there are two positives to his elimination. One, he didn't get injured too seriously in this one. Two, I got to show off more of his personality than being a kind of stupid jock that hurts himself all the time. He's a good guy with a good heart, loyalty and a strong sense of right and wrong, so I figured that the best way for him to go out would be on his own terms. Plus I got to show a little bit of the friendship between him and Cody, which I also think is really underrated.
