(Hawaiian Punch- Alternate Ending)

I would like to thank everyone who reviewed, favorited or followed this story since I last updated it.

WeirdAlfan101: Yeah I know what you mean, DJ is the main character, and if there's anyone that deserves to win a season, it's him. Glad to see you read my Underdog story though, and that you approve of DJ winning. As for Sierra, I was trying to give her some character development, but I'm pretty sure that's the best they were going to get out of her. All in all though, I'm glad you enjoyed this story so much.

AustralianBeast17: Thanks, I'm glad to see you liked it, and the story overall. Yep, DJ is the main character, but I also enjoyed giving Gwen a secondary focus. As a matter of fact, I do plan for there to be an alternate ending, which you're about to see.

Romeoaifesili: Yeah I know what you mean, I find this kind of bittersweet too. Sierra's reluctant acceptance of Cody and Gwen's relationship was honestly the best we're gonna get out of her in that scenario. Glad to see you know who I'm talking about, Animation Adventures, their Cast Swap fic in particular. I don't agree with a few of his opinions, but he really is an inspiration as a writer. And like a character or not, you can give them some development. The Killer Bass trio of Duncan, Geoff and DJ uniting was inevitable, and Heather was an addition that I doubt many would've seen coming. All of the Drama Brothers would've been willing to help Cody win, but I thought Harold would've been the most useful. Not including Sierra wasn't really an option, and I had already decided on Alejandro. Physical strength or not, Cody wasn't gonna go down without a fight, and DJ wasn't either after remembering his biggest inspiration in the form of his momma.

Ellismskd24: Yep, you hit the nail right on the head. You've seen one, and you'll see the other soon enough.

Guest: Sounds pretty interesting. I'll have to check that out.

SuperSonicHeroes: Thanks, I'm glad to see you enjoyed the story overall. The original purpose was to give DJ the love he deserves, but I also saw it as an opportunity to make a bunch of other changes. Yeah, from losing his whole team to winning the whole season, DJ turned out to be one hell of an underdog didn't he? At least I know I'm not the only one to have DJ win. Total Drama Do Over does look pretty interesting, I'll have to check that out.

Brocknedjar: Thanks, I'm glad to see you liked it. I do have some ideas for how to continue in this universe, but you'll have to wait and see.

BigSmokeYeet: Well for you and all the others that wanted to see Cody win, I hope this is going to satisfy you.

BigSmokeYeet (ch 1): I get that you want Cody to win, but I think DJ deserves to win. I'm glad that you liked the story overall though.

Guest: Actually I do sort of have a story like that, in my Total Drama Underdog series.

Frosty Wolf: I'm glad to see you caught onto DJ being the title character, and yeah, him being so physically strong is a pretty sizable factor too. Alejandro on Cody's team may have been a surprise, but I didn't want to be too predictable. You're right though, DJ has gone through a fair amount of character development here. I don't feel sympathy for Chris at all. It's like he got more and more sadistic and insane as the show went on. I know what you mean, most of the Total Drama stories I think are the best are older ones (the main exception to that rule being stories like Cast Swap by Animation Adventures). I don't know much about the reboot either, but I'm choosing to keep my expectations low for the time being. All in all though, I'm glad to see you enjoyed the story, so thanks for your support.

OmnipotentUIJudgeOfCharacterOG: Hero's Comeback from Naruto, that's actually a really good choice for a soundtrack. I know how you feel, Cody is one of my favorites too, but DJ is the title character here, and I think he's one of the most underrated, and after all the crap he had to endure, he definitely deserves the win. As for Sierra and her begrudging acceptance of Gwody being a thing, I figured that was the best they were gonna get out of her. Geoff and Duncan being the guys to help DJ was pretty obvious, they're like the trio of Total Drama, and Heather did have to get some spotlight at the end of this. As for Cody's helpers, Harold and Sierra were pretty obvious choices, and Alejandro did have his reasons, whether it be for a fraction of the money, or because Heather was on the other team. Overall, I'm glad to see you enjoyed this story. But just wait, there's more to come.

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

Hours passed and the sun was beginning to set as the race began to draw to a close.

"Huh, looks like they're gonna melt." Chris (being kept cool by a series of giant ice cubes and a giant fan) over at where the former contestants were all sweating heavily "Maybe we should get a new cast for next season." then he glanced over at Chef "So how about it, you know about any season three wrap parties?"

"I'm not giving you that chick's phone number." Chef told him flatly, then walked away.

"Well whatever, here comes one of them now!"

Sure enough, Alejandro and the rest of Cody's helpers, along with Cody himself, came hurtling up the side of the volcano, a malicious smirk palsrered across his face "I believe one million dollars is in order."

"Oh, is this what you're looking for?" Chris gave a grin as he held up the case "There's still one thing left to do, but you're not gonna be the one to do it."

"Unfortunately you are correct. Now then Cody my little friend, you have a challenge to finish and a million dollars to win. Just make sure not to forget who it was that got you this far."

"Right." so Cody took the dummy from Alejandro's hands and dragged it towards the volcano, and he locked eyes with Gwen, a tense silence falling between the two of them.

Gwen finally broke it when she made her way towards Cody on her crutches, and she gave him a reassuring smile "Go ahead and finish it, you've earned it."

"Got it." so with his resolve renewed, Cody prepared to finally throw his dummy into the heart of the volcano, until…

"Hold the (bleep) up!" this was when Heather came bursting up the path to the top of the volcano, practically gasping for breath "So hot… steep climb… trying to… catch my breath…"

"So you've arrived to witness the inevitable." Alejandro turned to face her, his typical charming smirk spreading across his face "Even in the face of defeat, you are the epitome of beauty."

"The hell with it…" then she fell to her knees, tears brimming in her eyes "I spent three seasons trying to get to this point, but now you're just gonna take your stupid conselation prize or whatever the hell you're calling it, and then you'll vanish from my life forever… Just let Cody throw his stupid doll that's bigger than he is into the volcano already!"

"Hey!" Cody let out an offended yelp.

"Shut up and get it over with!"

"Which raises the question." Alejandro's smirk grew a little bit wider as he slowly made his way over to Heather "Which are you more upset about losing, the prize money… or me?"

"...Are you out of your freaking mind?!" she started blushing "There would be a cold day in the depths of hell before I let myself fall for a jerk like you!"

"Then why are you blushing?"

"Hello, we're right beside the hottest thing on the planet?"

"Yeah." that came from Chris while he was slurping on a coconut, still surrounded by a giant fan and man-sized ice cubes.

"...I'm not even gonna comment on that."

"Probably for the best." Alejandro helped Heather to her feet as he continued prodding against her ego "Why don't you just go ahead and admit it: You're in love with me!"

"What?! I don't love you, I love-" she cut herself short when she realized what she said, but the damage was done in the form of Alejandro gaining a huge shit-eating grin, and the others letting out a series of shocked gasps from most of the others.

"Seriously? It was pretty obvious when you think about it." Noah on the other hand, he looked back at the others and gave a shrug.

"Hate, I hate you is what I meant to say."

"Believe me senorita, I know exactly what you meant." Alejandro's gaze turned warm and, for once, genuine "And I must confess that at first, yes my efforts were purely strategic."

"Can the confessing wait? We're kind of on a schedule here bro." Chris pointed out, only to be ignored by everyone present.

"But that is no longer the case, because the truth is that somewhere along the way, even after you had been eliminated, the fact is that you had stolen my heart."

"Oh man, that's just… it's so beautiful." Owen and Tyler shared a look in awe at the scene "Even if it is Heather."

"Don't you see it senorita?" Alejandro took Heather into his arms "The connection that we share goes deeper than any came could. With the two of us together, we have the potential to take over this entire world!"

"Oh, wow…" Heather seemed taken aback by this declaration as she started blushing again "Well I have to admit, I am feeling a little something…"

"Come mi amor…" Alejandro pulled Heather into a heated kiss, much to the disgust of the rest of those present.

Heather paused and began to return the kiss… to end up kneeing him right in the crotch a few seconds later, causing him to recoil in pain and land on a giant ice cube "It's a little something I like to call payback! So long sucker!" and then she threw him off the summit of the volcano and sent him sliding down the path, earning her a thunderous amount of cheers and applause from the rest of the peanut gallery.

"Never thought I'd say this to you, but nice work." Gwen gave a smirk of approval "It's about time somebody gave him what he deserves. Way to stick it to La Cucaracha."

"Yeah well, boys are okay and all, but they can come and go as they please. The chance to win a million dollars however, that's a chance only a sucker would pass up! Speaking of suckers, where the hell is DJ and his idiot trio?!"

"Right here, we're here…" this was when DJ came climbing up to the top of the volcano path, with Duncan and Geoff both crawling up behind him, the three of them all looking absolutely exhausted "Oh god… so tired… so hot…"

"What the hell happened? I wasn't that far ahead of you."

"Shut your freaking hole already would ya?" Duncan spat out some blood "You know the shit we had to deal with down there. Geoff took off after Bridgette in a non-existent bikini, I had to fight off a crazy stalker bitch which was a hell of a lot tougher than I thought it would be, and then we had to break DJ out of a cage over a freaking river of lava, and then we had to climb all the way up a hot as (bleep) volcano! To dumb it down to Lindsay levels, if you've got a problem with that then you can suck on the flat end of my (bleep)!" his little rant left the others taken aback "Oh come on, you guys have all said and done worse one way or another!"

"Trust me, we know." Courtney rolled her eyes as she and Bridgette went over and helped the three of them to their feet, giving Duncan a genuine smile as she did so "We all know that all too well."

"Yep. So what the hell happened up here?"

"Well Alejandro basically dragged Cody over to try and win the whole thing, probably because he wanted a cut of the prize money, then Heather showed up and they basically ended up declaring their love for each other. They started making out, then Heather kneed him in the crotch and sent him hurtling down the volcano on one of those giant ice cubes."

"...Huh. So that was him we saw hurtling down the path and screaming like a constipated lemur on steroids. Hey Geoff, you were right!" he was met with a tired groan.

"So that means… It's not over yet?" DJ let out a tired wheeze as he made his way over to the pool of lava "You haven't done it yet?"

"I kind of got distracted with all the drama and stuff?" Cody gave a shrug.

"Fair enough, the drama on this show can get pretty distracting. Take a look at me. I got so freaked out over that whole thing with my animal curse, I was more than ready to quit and go home before I even got halfway through the season. And here I am now, in the final two."

"Yeah, I feel the same way. I can't believe that after all this time I finally won Gwen over, and all I really had to do was be myself. I guess I have you to thank for that. So much has changed over the season."

"And there's gonna be a lot more changes to come, that's for sure. But the good thing about it is that we don't have to deal with it alone."

"We can do it together. All of us."

"You got that right little buddy. Now come over here, we're gonna finish this together."

"I'm pretty sure there can only be one winner, and you deserve it as much as anyone else."

"So do you. Either we do this together, or I'm not gonna do it at all. End of story."

"...Alright, let's do this." so the two of them reached down and grabbed onto one of the wooden dummies "You ready?"

"As ready as I'll ever be. Okay now, 1… 2… 3!" and so the two of them hurled the dummy down into the lava, earning a mild backsplash that forced everyone to back away "Nice job little buddy, and we did it together."

"Yes yes, very heartwarming and all with the good sportsmanship and losing gracefully." this was when Chris made his way over to the two of them with the briefcase in hand "But as Cody said, there can be only one winner. And given whose dummy you guys just threw into the lava, that makes Cody our winner!" and he was met with a massive uproar of cheers and applause from the peanut gallery.

"I… I won?" Cody looked around in a sense of disbelief amidst the thunderous applause and cheers from the others, and then a broad grin stretched across his face "I won!"

"Holy crap man, we knew you could do it!" this was when Trent, Justin and Harold came over and enveloped their fellow Drama Brother.

Cody accepted their embrace for a moment, but then he looked around amidst the rest of the peanut gallery, until he found the one he was looking for.

"Hey." this was when Gwen made her way over to him and pulled him into a gentle embrace "So that's the end of it."

"Yep. I can't believe I actually won."

"I never had any real doubt." Gwen shot him a smirk as she pulled him into a hug, and the two of them shared a tender kiss.

All the while, Trent watched the scene taking place from afar with a small smile, and then he glanced over to see Sierra growling at the scene "I know how you feel trust me, but the way I see this, if they're happy then we've gotta be happy for them."

"...If she hurts him I'll hunt her down like a dog." was all Sierra said.

"Well… I guess that's a start."

Meanwhile, off to the side…

"So that's the end of it." DJ watched Cody and Gwen embrace from his place on the sidelines, and he gave a small smile as he gazed out at the Hawaiian skyline "Good job little buddy, you deserve it."

"Better him than Heather or Aleheinous." this was when Geoff and Duncan made their way over to him "You okay bro? I mean, you kind of lost out on a million bucks."

"All things considered, yeah I'm actually pretty okay. I mean, 17 people started on this whole race around the world, 18 if you count Blaineley, and I made it all the way to the final two. I say that's pretty good, and win or lose I played fair all the way to the end. I doubt anyone can really not be satisfied with that at the end."

"True enough." Geoff patted him on the back.

"I mean think about it. Halfway through this game, I was ready to call it quits and I just wanted to go home, but now I made it all the way to the end, and even if I didn't win, I did learn a lot from this."

"Speak for yourself." Duncan grumbled "I didn't learn a damn thing out of it, aside from the fact that this was a crapload of pain all for nothing."

"You sure about that?" DJ and Geoff both shared an unconvinced look.

"Yeah, pretty much. She's standing right behind me?"

"Yes, yes she is." a set of arms wrapped around him from behind, courtesy of Courtney as she pulled Duncan into a tender embrace.

"...Alright screw it, I guess I learned a little bit more than that." Duncan gave a small smile as he wrapped an arm around Courtney's waist and let her lean her head against his shoulder as the two of them, along with DJ and Geoff, stared out towards where the sun was setting over the skyline above Hawaii.

Nightfall came, and everyone had gathered on the beach for a big Hawaiian luau to celebrate the end of the season.

"Here we are people!" Chris made his way onto the scene with a certain briefcase in hand, and he was quick to get everyone's attention "After an incredibly long and arduous season for everyone, myself included." he was met with a few loud snorts and audible scoffs, which he ignored and continued on as if nothing happened "It's my pleasure to finally give to all of you the winner of Total Drama World Tour: Cody!"

Sure enough, Cody made his way forward, with Gwen by his side, and he gave a broad smile "I have to admit Chris, I never thought I would make it this far."

"I don't think any of us did. I had my money down on the new guy." he jerked a thumb towards where Alejandro sat on a nearby stump, still looking angry over his earlier humiliation "But in any case, I think some congratulations are in order." he held out to the case "And to the winner go the spoils, in the form of one million dollars in cold hard cash."

"Thanks, really." Cody gladly accepted the case and turned towards Gwen "Just when I thought this day couldn't get any better."

"Tell me about it, it's not every day you get to win a million dollars." Gwen gave a smirk, only to find herself being pulled into a hug by Cody.

"Winning this is amazing enough, but winning and having you by my side during all of it, that makes it beyond perfect in my eyes. I can't even think of a word for it. I mean if someone told me a year ago that I'd be up here with the most amazing girl in the world by my side as I won a million dollars, I'd think they're insane. But now here I am, and feels unreal. Speaking of which, I want to give a huge thank you to someone who helped make all this possible. I want to give a big thank you to DJ."

"Seriously?" DJ stood up right and shot a raised eyebrow in Cody's direction.

"Seriously. I mean you were the one who told me to just be myself, and if it wasn't for that I probably would've kept making a complete ass out of myself. All in all, you were the one who gave me the push I needed, and look at where I am now because of it. So thank you, I mean for everything."

"Hey don't sweat it little buddy." DJ gave a grin and pulled Cody into a hug "It's like I told you before, if I had to lose to anyone here, then I'm glad it's you. You deserve it, and I wish both you and Gwen the best. It's just kind of a shame I couldn't give everyone that yacht party I promised them."

"Yeah well, funny thing about that." Cody looked around with a wide toothy grin "I did say that I was gonna use the money for college and for me and Noah to start our own company, but you're not the only one who promised a party. I'm gonna put aside $100,000 for a rocking party, and I plan on inviting everyone here!" he was met with an uproar of cheers from the others "So how does that sound?"

"Kind of nauseating, but oddly enough, in a good way." Noah rolled his eyes as he stepped forward and dealt Cody a quick fist bump "You see, now I know I've been hanging around you and Owen too much when the idea of a huge party with all of these freaks and morons actually sounds appealing to me."

"I guess that means we're a positive influence on you."

"You're definitely an influence on me, but I wouldn't call it positive." then Noah suddenly gave a smirk "Speaking of which, I take it you're gonna be bringing someone to this party?"

"I was hoping so…" Cody glanced over at Gwen "As long as she'll have me."

"You know something?" Gwen suddenly grabbed Cody in a tight hug, and then she pulled him into a swift yet heated kiss "I wouldn't have it any other way."

"Unbelievable." Noah rolled his eyes as he glanced over at DJ "Some how he actually pulled that off."

"Don't lose faith in stuff like this buddy." DJ gave a grin as he patted Noah on the back "In the world we live in, anything is possible. Who knows, it might not be long until you find a special someone yourself."

"Yeah, the day that happens is the day I start babbling like an idiot in front of a girl and acting like a bigger simp than Cody." if anyone gets what he's referencing, then I salute you.

"Have some faith. Like I said, anything is possible."

"Hey DJ." this was when Duncan, Geoff and a bunch of other guys made their way forward "You know what it's time for now right?"

"I think I do…" DJ shared a grin with them, and then they all turned to Chris "I think we all want this to happen."

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

About 5 minutes later…

"Wait wait no, come on guys! What about my hair!" Chris tried to protest in vain as he was picked up by Duncan, Owen, DJ and Geoff and then thrown into the Hawaiian ocean "Seriously, again with this?!"

"Call it a tradition of the seasons." Heather shot him a smirk "After all the crap you put us through each season, it's the least you can do for the rest of us."

"Speaking of which, I think Chef is next on the list. Speaking of which, Chef is next."

"I think they've got that covered." DJ jerked a thumb to where Chef was being chased along the shore by Duncan and a few others. Then he glanced over to where Alejandro stood off on his own along the shore, and so he made his way over to him "Oh come on, you can't tell me you're not at least a little bit happy to see him get soaked."

"I will admit, there is a certain sense of catharsis to it." Alejandro's tone was rather stiff, but then he let out a sigh "How will I explain this humiliating defeat to those at home? I can hear it now, my eldest brother Jose compiling his insults along with so many others."

"Huh. So even the biggest and baddest of us have something to prove." DJ gave a small smile as he patted Alejandro on the back "You know, you can be kind of high strung. You've got some time here with the rest of us until you have to worry about your family, so go ahead and stop and smell the roses, enjoy the little things in life. If you do, then you'll be able to see things you could never see before, and hear things you were never able to hear. Life can turn out to be a lot of fun. All you have to do is stop and give it a chance."

"...I'll take that under advisement." Alejandro turned to walk away, but then he stopped when he saw Heather standing alone on the shore "Perhaps sooner than you think."

"Yeah, thanks for that." Chris rolled his eyes as he pulled himself out of the water, now sopping wet, but that didn't stop him from turning to sign off "Until next time, I'm Chris Mclean, and this has been Total! Drama! World Tour!"

A/N:

Now we see the final challenge of the season come to a close with a different ending, and this time it's Cody that comes out on top instead of DJ. Once that happens, this story finally comes to a close. I'm just gonna say now, I never expected this story to become as popular as it has. Seriously, it started out as a little pet project I was doing for fun towards the end of Summer because I was bored and wasn't motivated enough to work on any of my other stories. But now it's gained so much love and popularity from all of you, it's really inspired me to go through with an idea I had for it. As at least one reviewer has requested, I've decided to expand on this AU.

That's right people. In the coming months, you guys can expect two sequel stories for this universe, and the details can be found below:

First up, From CIT to All Star. This is going to be a sizable rewrite of Total Drama All Stars (which is, in my opinion, still better than Pahkitew Island), and I'll give you one guess who the main character is going to be. Hint: Like with this story, it's in the title. Also, one big upside compared to the original, there isn't going to be any horrible and unnecessary love triangles, so that's already one point in its favor.

Second, A Dramatic Ridonculous Race. In short, it's a retelling of the Ridonculous Race (that takes place during the year between Revenge of the Island and All Stars), with somewhat original teams made up of Total Drama characters. I'm gonna go ahead and put in a rule though. The Total Drama characters who compete in the race will not be competing in All Stars, I'm just going to make that clear now.

You guys can expect these two stories to start dropping within the next few months or so, since I have a lot of other stuff going on. Don't worry though, I promise it will be well worth the wait. Until then, thank you all for sticking with this story for as long as you have, and make sure to stay safe out there.
